    This is one of the most beautiful and incredible games I've ever played. Charismatic, lovely, with action and passion. Soundtrack is wonderful. Everything looks handmade. The combat reminds me a mix of God of War with Horizon, it has parry, defense, melee, range, magic with the rots. Well, it's an indie game better then a lot of AAA we see around. Congratulations Emberlab.

    Wenn ein Indie Spiel zum Absoluten Pflichtkauf für jeden PS5 Besitzer wird. Kena: Bridge of Spirits scheint kaum schwächen zu haben. Story, Animationen, Grafik, Sound und Gameplay. Unfassbar was das mini Studio Ember Lab hier geleistet hat. Es macht einfach Spaß die fantastisch gestaltete Spielwelt zu erkunden.

    My god what a great game. And Ember Lab’s first game as well!!! Sony get that fat check and acquire and grow them ASAP. Can’t wait for their next Project. I’m absolutely having a BLAST in Kena so far. Really sensational.

    Don't sleep on it especially for the price and those 20h of gameplay !

    The game is... im speechless, honestly. This game is like playing a longer pixar movie. Its only 9/10 hours long depending on the difficulty. But holy damn this is one heck of a journey. I loved everything about it. The story, the voice acting, the main character and THE VISIUALS. It might be a steep of a buy for most people because it 40 bucks for 9 hour game.     There are obvious influences on this game that all come together to create game-play that is creative and fun. The graphics are outstanding and I have filled my PlayStation with screen-shots of the magnificent visuals of the game's verdant landscape. Combat is the right amount of challenging as each boss brings has its own unique skills that have to be learned and evaded.     Kena bridge of spirits is one of those every gamer should play. Everything about Kena is a joy from the music the graphics and environment are all top notch. This is definitely one of my top games of 2021. Thank you Ember Labs for this beautiful gem that you shared with us gamers.

    Easily one of the best games I've played recently. Incredible debut for Ember Lab. I played on normal mode first, now I'm trying master mode and it's pretty tough. Bought this game thinking it was just cute, but damn it's darker than expected and I really loved every single bit of it. Hardly any technical faults, fun platforming and puzzles, AWESOME game-play, the fights are tough butEasily one of the best games I've played recently. Incredible debut for Ember Lab.     Now this 2021 Kena Bridge Of Spirits on PS5 is pretty similar to 2020-? Final Fantasy VII PS4 Remake + PS5 Intergrade despite the difference is this being a complete game while FF7 is still episodic.

    A great first game from Emberlab and an absolute masterpiece of a game! It's funny how some big game developers with a long history can release pretty crappy games but a small studio like Emberlab can put out a beautiful game that plays so well on their first try!!

Everyone says 8 hours long but I got 23 hours out of it. I wouldn't say I took my sweet time but I was in no rush to run through this game, I wanted to stop and enjoy the work that was put into theAmazing story, amazing gameplay/combat/puzzles, and amazing visuals.     The game is absolutely fantastic. Although I will say unless you care about hats for your creatures, theres really no incentive to actually explore. I wish instead of pointless currency the devs would have put collectibles in the chest from the villagers. It could help expand on the lore. Regardless fantastic debut from Ember Lab. Cant wait to see what else they come up with.

    Perosnally for me it was just amazing, great graphics, very nice gameplay, pretty nice story in the game, very nice details in the game, did play it on PS5, so having all 100 rots follow was just incredible to see

I was not expecting the game to be so huge. If you finish the game in 9 hours then you just didn't play the game sorry paid reviewers. Up to the second big boss and I'd put in about 25 hours.     Game is one of the best games on PS5. One of my favorites of the year. Graphics are some of the best, gameplay is awesome and reminds me of Zelda. Soundtrack is amazing too.

    I was waiting that game for a long time. It lived up to my expectations. Awesome Pixar, Ghibli style art direction and gameplay that reminds me of PS2 era, in a positive way, I'm enjoying the game. Awesome work Ember Lab!

    this is my first blind purchased of the game. i don't know what to expect, OMG this game is so good! the storyline the combo and the design will make you hooked up. i've finished this game TWICE!!!! and i never played storyline game twice. This is damn good!

    jogo muito bem, tanto tecnicamente quando áudio e visual. Consegue trazer a experiência e nostalgia de games antigos de aventura, com toque de magia e graça, junto a um mundo grande e qualidades técnicas atuais. Para um primeiro game da ember lab esta de parabéns! Ótimo!

    This is the best thing I have played for quite some years now! Not only is the world and story beautiful, not only the gameplay itself, but I am amazed at the way they have distributed content in the maps of the game, making them interesting at all times and full of riddles and secrets.     Le jeux est super, la direction artistique et sonore au top. Histoire classique mais qui fait super bien le taf et gameplay simple mais efrficace. Ember Lab un studio qui sera a suivre ces prochaine année pour leurs "jeux vidéos d'animation". Un vrai plaisir, je recomande clairement ce jeu.

    It is sad to see this game go down to an 81. This game has so much heart built into it and outshines most of what we see from the AAA developers. This game has fantastic gameplay, visuals, music, voice acting, and was sold for only $40. Easily one of my favorite games for the whole year.

    One of the most original and unique game ever created. A great spiritual gaming experience from concept to finished product. Parents should introduce their children to this kind of game. To start them right. No killing. No hurting people and animals. Just appreciation of life and helping your enemies become your friends.

    A wonderful game though the choice for PS5 is not big at the moment!
    Great landscape, cute art, fitting sounds&music nice effects and an emotional story. Normally I am not the fan of jumping and riddles but this one in combination with its action based combat in between was great and challenging (but not until you get angry;) ).     Totally thought this game! I hear some people complaining about the jump a little bit, that aspect didn’t bother anything for me at all. It’s very reminiscent of exploration when it comes to a Zelda game, where you’ll have puzzles and what not. I would recommend this game to anyone if it seems up your alley.

    Visually the environment is beautiful, and whilst the combat is quite simple/limited, it never felt boring or repetitive in combat. I picked this up on sale for £22 and would reccomend it even at full price (and thats saying something with the price of digital games these days). It's £35 usually but even at £40 I'd reccomend.

    It took me 11 hours to complete on the hardest difficulty (not including master difficulty which is unlocked for ng+) - but I took my time, explored the environment etc this could probably be completed in 7 hours if you wanted to rush it.    … Expand

    Great game that I want expecting to enjoy so much. I couldn't put it down. The combat is fluid and as a souls fan I was impressed. The bosses can be quite tricky but they have weaknesses to find out.

    The most 'magical' game that I have played in a very long time. I speak as a very jaded gamer that plays a lot of different genres across all platforms - this brought back nostalgia for early Zelda games. It feels like a cross between Zelda, Starfox Adventures, Pikmin and a Pixar Movie. The music and atmosphere really make the game - as do moments where there is dramatic use of the dynamicThe most 'magical' game that I have played in a very long time. I thought the story was nicely balanced between a zelda-like 'blank slate main character' - while giving enough personal clues and hints to keep you interested. The gameplay is slick and fluid (especially in the upscaled 4k performance mode), and rewards well timed attacks and parrys - also particulalry like the bow and associated slow motion jump and grapple mechanics. It is seriously impressive what such a small team has achieved. I much prefer a short intense experience at a reasonable price - to a long drawn out open world with lots of meaningless filler. I really hope they make a next-gen only sequel that pushes the limits of the platforms even further.

    If I had any constructive criticism to give - it would be for it to have harder more complex puzzles, deeper combat and some optional exposition delivery (i.e. texts, sound clips, flashbacks etc.) However I think most of the criticism levied here is undue - this game is has a clear focus on the things it excels at - world building, cinematics, music, atmosphere, charm, immersive gameplay.

    Kena is a playful and beautiful adventure, but it does not bring any breathtaking innovation. But it has the potential to take you to a fairy tale and let you experience the story of a young girl, which is a balanced experience.

    Ember Lab didn’t try to reinvent the wheel. Instead the developers opted for tried and true mechanics that entertained us time and again in many action adventure games, and mixed them in an almost perfect way. The beginning might be a little slow, but when Kena: Bridge of Spirits gains momentum, it becomes truly great. It’s hard for me to point out any significant flaws apart from overall lack of originality. What a debut! [12/2021, p.74]

    Kena: Bridge of Spirits should take most gamers around 10 to 12 hours to complete, depending on the amount of exploring and the level of difficulty. While the blockbusters games of 2021 continue to deliver the same ho-hum experience of 2021, Kena is a much needed ray of sunshine to the current choices of titles available and more importantly, looks fantastic on the PlayStation 5.
