    Whether you are using it for exercise or to laugh at family gatherings, Just Dance 2023 simply can’t be beat. Accessible for beginners but requiring real skill if you want to top the leaderboards, Just Dance 2023 comes out swinging with a great group of new routines, delivered with a noticeable increase in production value. Though the World Dance Floor is sorely missed, the other improvements to the UI, multiplayer, and suggestion algorithms pull the franchise into the modern era.

    Just Dance 2023 Edition is almost critic-proof at this point. You're either already on board and have been dancing away since it became available for download, or you have no interest and no reviews can sway your decision. With that said, the change to a service model has the potential to be exciting provided it can quickly get its Plus service on par with its old Unlimited service in terms of content. If Ubisoft can do that while keeping things like online play intact, then the series will be in good hands for quite some time.

    This edition is supposed to be a fresh new start to the longrunning series, but stumbles at the get-go. Longrunning features like the Dancefloor are missing as are most of the songs of the new Just Dance+, which only contains about 25% of the old Unlimited. The core mechanics of the dances is still there as are a some 40+ new songs to dance to, as well as a new menu that needs some getting used to but ultimately makes life easier. A not-so-fresh start then, but it might be a good set-up for the future.

    Cash grab. Don't buy.

    * Local player profiles - removed. No customization for local players at all. Only the person who bought the game can    Cash grab. Don't buy.

    * Local player profiles - removed. No customization for local players at all. Only the person who bought the game can open it, everyone else cannot choose/keep anything but icon. Not even open the game on their own psn profile. Have family of 4? Bad for you, you need 4 copies of game and 4 subscriptions. Even then - you will have to have 4 consoles to play together / earn levels together etc. And no, buying the disc won't solve anything, no physical media anymore.
    * Camera support - removed.
    * Dance Unlimited Subscription - removed. You have to buy a new one even if you have unlimited.    … Full Review »

    It’s unacceptable that just dance 2023 does not support the ps5 camera like the previous iterations of the game did on PS4.
