    i can't believe people are review bombing this because they're either lonely or not good at average platforming xD GOTY Amazing work of art. The dev always talks about his games as a work of art and this is a masterpiece.

    I'm not much of a coop player, I'd rather play alone, but this game is so fun and inventive, I don't regret any moment playing it!
    The game is surprisingly long, but the huge variety of mechanics, each polished to an amazing level makes the time fly while playing it. The writing isn't has much as good as the gameplay, but my partner and me still really got into it and got emotional more    I'm not much of a coop player, I'd rather play alone, but this game is so fun and inventive, I don't regret any moment playing it!

    Interspersed by flawless and satisfying mechanics that balances well with the more challenging portions, there is just so much diversity that you'll never get bored.

    I am playing this game at moment and I am having a lot fun. This game is really well made and the mechanics are really good. Lot of nice puzzles to solve. This game is on my top five game since last year.

    My expectations were high to begin with, based on Hazelight's former two games that I quite enjoyed. Then my first impression with this game was that it's the best two player co-op out there. But even that was exceeded with the realization that there is simply no comparison with anything else, for this is something very unique.

Then my first impression with this game was that it's the best two player co-op out there. But even that was exceeded with the realization that there is simply no comparison with anything else, for this is something very unique.

    Hazelight is doing wonders with their two characters formula. Their first game had two brothers, then two prison breaking allies, and now a husband and wife at the verge of a divorce with a daughter caught in the middle. All these three stories were simple, yet the journies were vibrant. But the true highlight of It Takes Two is how this journey consistently stays fresh and saturated for very many hours where you are constantly faced with new kinds of challenges, and a new set of tools to tackle them. More on that later.

    If you are a couple with access to this game, there is not much need for dilemma. It's an exceedingly fleshed out AAA game for half the price, that can entertain two players with a single purchase, even if you play online. That already makes it well worth the money. On top of that, the game is simply an endless buffet that is sure to surpass your appetite.

    But, there are a couple of big red warnings. Firstly, this is not a casual game. After playing their last game A Way Out, we were expecting some laid back fun. But this game will put even a seasoned gamer to test. Moreover, one person won't be able to carry both. Both the players will need to climb steep learning curves, together.

    Secondly, the game's genre has been phrased as a "romantic comedy", not for the lack of a better word, but because there would have been too many words. This game packages a ton of genres into one, constantly changing to remain consistently fresh. So players with limited preferences may not enjoy it. If you enjoy Mortal Kombat but not Dark Souls, you're gonna have a hard time. If you enjoy Mario but not Tomb Raider, you're gonna have a hard time. Bear that in mind.

    I crave new ideas. And this game is a roller coaster ride through a fun fair of newness. I don't like to recommend anything, but do check it out, and it may speak to you.    … Expand

    No game has given the satisfaction this game did. Absolutely loved it. It's perfect in every aspect. Movements are fun. Power ups are unique and super creative. Don't even get me started with the world they created. Like damn how tf is someone so creative. This is the kind of gem that's rarely ever shows up.     Easily, EASILY one of the best co-op games out there. But only play if you have a friend who knows how to play videogames as it does require some skills. I can't understand people who give a low score to this game. They must not be very good at games in general or dont have anybody to play with.     A nivel jugable es un 10, solo se me ocurre el "pero" de que para los jugadores exigentes es un juego de dificultad "muy fácil".     ¿La historia? Quizás un poco plana, y con alguna cinemática un poco creepy, pero mas que aceptable y con el libro/dr.hakim dando la nota en forma muy positiva.

    ¿Por qué un 9 y no un 10?
    Los puntos negativos: dificultad excesivamente sencilla, un final con sabor amargo, quizás un peldaño por debajo la última etapa respecto a todo el resto del juego.

    The perfect co-op adventure-platformer for you and your girlfriend. Even if she is not a gamer. Extremely fun and enjoyable! Laughed all the way through!

    It Takes Two é simplesmente incrível, o jogo transborda criatividade e novas mecânicas de jogo do começo ao fim e nunca fica repetitivo, é uma experiência cooperativa que vale muito a pena e um dos melhores plataformers que já joguei

It's sooooo good!! i don't really like to give a full 10 out of 10 review unless the game is pretty much flawless. and this game really is. Everything about this game is just so well done, the puzzles and boss are so incredibly well designed, they're both fun and challenging but without being too hard to be annoying. The character controls are spot on and with each changing weapon or tool, endless fun. and man does this game look good! we've been playing on PS5 and each we enter a new area, we're just gobsmacked at the detail and graphics.     Un juegazo entretenidísimo que no para de sorprenderte nivel por nivel. No vi nada más elegante, original y encantador desde Overcook 2. Si lo suyo es la colaboración en equipo, ya sea con tu pareja, un amigo o cualquiera online, prometo que no se van a desencantar. Es lo mejor que jugué desde hace muchos años.

    My (5yo) son loves this game and so do I. Fantastic game world and most levels are very well designed. I love Fares Fares for making these couch coop games, a genre forgotten by so many others. This is his best game so far and I recommend this game to anyone who like couch coop games young or old. Strong 9, borderline 10.

    I adore A Way Out, so I had really high expectations for Hazelight’s new game. Instead of sticking to the proven, perfect formula of AWO, the developers decided to give us more of everything and as a result overdid it in many respects. The levels are too long and there are too many minigames, while the story can’t keep up. It seemed to me the narrative is just a pretext to introduce as many different gameplay mechanics as possible, and as a result the relationship between the protagonists is implausible.     It Takes Two is a one-of-a-kind experience. There is a joy and whimsy to the entire game and so much variety it’ll keep players entertained and surprised from beginning to end. The world is so detailed and gorgeous and the cohesion between storytelling and gameplay is incredibly impressive. It’s the kind of game that proves there’s still plenty of room for innovation in games.
