    I had such a great time with my girlfriend playing it. The checkpoints are on the easy side and the Game did not get boring. no bugs etc. good dialoges and a great flow trough the game. Great coop Game

    Easily, EASILY one of the best co-op games out there. But only play if you have a friend who knows how to play videogames as it does require some skills. I can't understand people who give a low score to this game. They must not be very good at games in general or dont have anybody to play with.     this is how you do two player co-op correctly. The fact that you have unlimited lives also makes this a great game to play with someone not as skilled in platforming. Currently going through the mission with my girlfriend and shes having a blast (usually she gets frustrated when she dies often). Memorable characters as well, cant recommend this enough for some couch co-op.

    While the story is not as engaging and Dr Hakim is cringy and annoying everything else makes up for it.
    I don't remember having so much fun in a video game ever before. That's what the games suppose to be. Fun.

    One of the best coop games my wife and I have ever played together. It pulls off frequently changing mechanics and blends light, surface level material while exploring a couple learning to understand each other better. If an average new Pixar movie is 2.5 hours long and cost $15, then this game that lasts around 14 hours in our case is easily with the $40 it costs, and much more enjoyableOne of the best coop games my wife and I have ever played together.     One of the most fun, rewarding and unique experiences I've ever had. It's one of the best platformers out there but more importantly manages to intertwine gameplay and mechanics so welll into the overall narrative to a degree that I did not experience in any other game thus far.     Fantastic gameplay mechanics that never overstay its welcome. Each chapter feels fresh and makes it so there’s never a dull moment. The co op puzzles and mini games add an extra flavor to the mix. Some of the best fun you’ll find in a game.

    An absolute Joy of creative expression that flows elegantly between levels seamlessly.

    Unique, entertaining and well paced. Even my wife who isn't a gamer just wanted to keep playing.

    We will probably play it again as the opposite characters without it feeling stale or old in the least . It surely has to be noted in the game of the year listings.

Every hour or so of gameplay it mixes things up with new mechanics, subplots, and unique items which makes it hard to put down as you can’t wait to get to the next chapter.     Fan of hazelight games already but this game truly blew my expectations out the window. Great co op game, fantastic levels with such great atmosphere and detail including the mini games. Length of the game was also nice - didn’t get bored once. Highly recommend this to anyone who enjoys adventure and playing with a friend.

People who didn't like it were just unhappy that the game is coop only or the only thing they care about a video game is story (even tho the story is pretty good even for a game that is not aiming to be mainly story driven).     This is one of the best games I have ever played!!! There are so little GOOD co-op games, and this just crushes them all. It is an absolute must to play with your wife/girlfriend/husband/boyfriend. If your significant other doesn’t like video games (or you playing video games) – TURN THIS ON and give a 2nd controller to them. That’s all there is to it.

    I’ve played this game through with my girlfriend and it’s been the best couch co-op experience I’ve played. Credit to all of the devs, the variety of gameplay and imagination in the levels is outstanding, I’ve been in awe the whole way through the game. I cannot recommend this game enough

    Probably the most beautiful and most poetic game I've ever played. So many worlds, so many adventures and yet all so different. It's not too easy and it really focuses on cooperation with the partner which makes it unique. The storyline is very commun, everyone can relate and that's a big plus. I really really recommand it 100%.

    I played it with my girlfriend and all I can say is thank you Hazelight Studios for such and amazing adventure, we where in a bad moment as a couple and that game helped us to feel good with each other again, I totally recommend this game to every couple, once you play it you will understand why

    What an amazing game. If you have a friend/girlfriend/parents or whatever, who's not playing many videogames, or you want them to show that games are a wonderfull alternative to TV/Netflix, then play this game with them! Easy to handle, always fresh gameplay elements and beautiful graphics.

    Incredible: It Takes Two is not only catchy, but also fascinating. I used to play it with my sister, which is a literal newbie when it comes to video games. We had some hard times trying to find the solutions to some mysteries, but at the end of the day, we had so much fun and we really enjoyed the story. A must-have on PS5 to play with friends or family members.

    It takes two is a Gorgeous & Colourful World that it's awesome storytelling and breathtaking gameplay, surely make you stick with it till the end.

    Played it with my husband and we both love it. It shows how every relation has the same and simple problems and how unimportant they are actually. It makes us realize a lot of great things about our relationship. This game is more than a game, it is actually an interactive teraphy. highly recommended.

    I managed to drag my non gamer girlfriend into this game and we loved it. Of course she struggled a lot with the controls but we managed in the end.
    We love the different action skill each chapter has, just the entire setup and detail of each chapter, the brilliance of the puzzles you need to solve..
    Great couch coop game, definitely worth the GOTY award.

    It Takes Two is the best co-op game I've ever had the pleasure of playing. It's a long game that offers so much, yet never gets stale or predictable. This was 100% deserving of receiving GOTY for 2021. I recommend playing this with someone you're close with, whether it's a significant other, family member, or best friend. I played this with my dad and we had an absolute blast.

    This is arguably the best co-op experience I've had in games. This is also a love letter to years of gaming - you can never get bored playing this game. You have so many genres and different weapons/strategies to go through the story, it's just amazing. The story isn't amazing, but it's cozy and fun in a decent level.     Great fun! I wish the story was a bit longer. I'd love it when a part 2 would be anounced! Great fun for beginners and experienced gamers, fun to play with your spouse!

    Love playing this with my 6 year old son. Lots of variety in the game. I hope they make more like this.

    Fantastic and innovative couch co-op game. Played it with my gf and we had a blast, she doesnt play games very often this one was special. Great way spend an evening with a bottle of wine and fun. Highly recommend, you won’t find a game this unique out there with a cooperative experience and full of crazy!

    I adore A Way Out, so I had really high expectations for Hazelight’s new game. Instead of sticking to the proven, perfect formula of AWO, the developers decided to give us more of everything and as a result overdid it in many respects. The levels are too long and there are too many minigames, while the story can’t keep up. It seemed to me the narrative is just a pretext to introduce as many different gameplay mechanics as possible, and as a result the relationship between the protagonists is implausible.     It Takes Two is a one-of-a-kind experience. There is a joy and whimsy to the entire game and so much variety it’ll keep players entertained and surprised from beginning to end. The world is so detailed and gorgeous and the cohesion between storytelling and gameplay is incredibly impressive. It’s the kind of game that proves there’s still plenty of room for innovation in games.
