    Also man hat schon spaß am Spiel nur ist die ganz Welt für mich so uninteressant das ich sie auch nicht erkunden möchte. Es gibt nur sehr wenig Charaktere die mich überzeugen können und der Protagonist ist auch nicht besonderes spannend.

    Immortals of Aveum is a doom like game that takes a diffrent approah with its setting, a weird hybrid between steampunk and fantasy with a slight si fi style

    Dont listen to the haters, this game is awesome!

    The Good. Combat is fun and refreshing with a variety of ways to succeed. Puzzles are fun and challenging but not overwhelming. Visually looks amazing, so many cool things to see. You really need to stop and smell the roses sometimes to see all the awesome set pieces that surprise you when you look up from combat. Metroidvania    Dont listen to the haters, this game is awesome!

    The Good.
    Combat is fun and refreshing with a variety of ways to succeed. Puzzles are fun and challenging but not overwhelming. Visually looks amazing, so many cool things to see. You really need to stop and smell the roses sometimes to see all the awesome set pieces that surprise you when you look up from combat. Metroidvania exploration keeps old areas fresh. The story is very cool and there is a solid variety of characters. The music and soundscape are just what i want at the pivotal moments. There are lots of side content, post story content and exploration to do.

    The Bad.
    A couple spots the voice acting delivery is weak but overall is good. Minor glitches that were only a mild inconvenience and not persistent. I wanted some form of romantic options. There are 3 obvious possible romantic options and 1-3 others that could be. I really wanted either a dialogue choice system that allowed for romantic options or side quests. Also wanted a light amount of side quests.

    The Ugly.
    This game will get buried in the tsunami of great games releasing right now. BG3, Starfield, Lies of P, Sea of Stars, Diablo IV, Blasphemous, & Armored Core VI are just the tip of the avalanche of quality games flooding the market. The quiet press this game got is not enough and I hope that people will slowly circle back and find this gem of a game.    … Expand

    This game deserves a better evaluation, it's a very fun game, the graphics is phenomenal, EVEN with that damn FSR 2.0 it looks so so good. Story is very nice and written by Michael Kirkland, famous writer that gave life to Morrowind and Oblivion. Gameplay is fun, challenging, colorful and i don't understand so many low ratings. This game is a solid 8 8.5, it has some defects and some bugsThis game deserves a better evaluation, it's a very fun game, the graphics is phenomenal, EVEN with that damn FSR 2.0 it looks so so good.     One of the best single player game with great story of the last years. I love how they made God of war style achievements and world building. They dont deserve bad ratings. Performance is not perfect but its only small 0,5 sec lags from time to time, nothing really bad. People are overreacting. Good job Ascendant!

    An actually decent game with surprisingly fun combat, that really gets dragged down by its boring story and super generic and unlikeable characters.
    If they had dialed down the focus on the story, I would given it a much higher rating. At least the visuals are pretty good.

    Combat is okay but merely replacing guns with different color spells doesn't make me feel like a "bad ass battle mage" -- just a dude using fingerguns. I'd argue that Tiny Tina's Wonderlands did a better job making guns and spells feel more unique and interesting than anything Immortals of Aveum does. The story is just absolute nonsensical tripe, loads of random crap and proper nouns thrown at you throughout the whole thing with cringe dialog from the protagonist and NPCs. Absolutely nothing about the story hooked me into the world. The puzzles, as simple as they are, were the best parts of the game, in my opinion. The game is also pathetically short: Took me about 15 hours from start to finish doing most of everything there was to do in the game. Might be able to tack on an hour or two if I go back to finish up all the trophies but I can't be bothered.There's no replay value either, nothing that changes the story of the game, nothing different to experience in multiple playthroughs

    Graphically I could tell there were frame drops and stutters but there was something else about the game's visuals that were poor that I couldn't quite put my finger on. At least not until Digital Foundry did their deep dive and revealed that the game is running at a FSR2 upscaled version of 720p. *720p!* Upscaling to 4K from a 720p image, especially on my 65" QLED screen, results in an abysmal image quality with loads of texture shimmering, distance blur, and jagged edges. And the game has no HDR? As a "next gen" only title?

    When games like Hogwarts Legacy, Baldur's Gate 3, Starfield, Zelda: ToTK, and Spider-Man 2 are asking $70 with massive loads of content and replay value, asking $70 for a middling overall game that only lasts 15 hours is a joke. It's basically a glorified tech demo, and it's not even great at that. Already resold it for most of what I paid for it and won't bother with it again unless it ends up free on PS+ or EA Play. I don't recommend wasting your money. If you're really interested, wait until November when you'll probably find it for twenty bucks.    … Expand

    Buy it when it goes on sale. Which will be soon. 10 hours in and quit. Tired dialogue, Love the premise but became repetitve. Weak puzzles. Didn't offer enough.

    Just Finished the game. It is a great game night wait for a sale though if you don't plan on getting the platinum. It is a FPS with magic. I think it is mostly a beautiful game graphically, I had minor issues of slowdown but mostly not notable. It does start slow, the first few hours are tutorials with stretches of game play. Once it opens up and you can level up it is fantastic combat.

    The Game is Super Fun, it’s basically the type of game I enjoy playing with Fantasy and Magic at every corner! I’ve been waiting to play a game like this that innovates and comes with a different approach in the FPS genre instead of the same type of games we’re used to over and over, this is definitely a great game to play and I HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT!

    This game took me by surprise. First off, graphics are anmazing and the world is beautiful. The combat is extremely addicting and very solid. Has such a nice feel to it and might be one of the best fps games we’ve gotten in years. You can see traces of Halo, destiny and some Doom in there, but still is able to be original and it’s own thing. I can not stress enough how fun the combat is inThis game took me by surprise. First off, graphics are anmazing and the world is beautiful. The combat is extremely addicting and very solid. Has such a nice feel to it and might be one of the best fps games we’ve gotten in years.     The devs brag about using UE5 but this game is blurry and full of weird artifacting or visusl weirdness on the consoles.. just like the ugly characters that have milion of polygons but the face of a monkeys but the game has all the modern tech but its sll worthless as the game overall looks soft and ugly..We pay for all this tech for devs to avert the male gaze to make Anita proud.     18 hours into the game and im enjoying it. The first 5-6 hours are no fun and annoying because tutorials and jak calling kirkan "sir" when kirkan is female and in kirkans bio she has her/she pronouns but she wants to be called sir, you get used to it after some hours though, Enough with the ESG DIE garbage because it takes me out of the fantasy. Graphics a bit grainy but nice on the eyes,18 hours into the game and im enjoying it.     This game has got everything i like. Super-duper story. Very movie like game. The Story is ready to use in a great movie. NIce graphics (even on rtx3050 and works well on low and dlss), nice models, great locations. Good filling during exploration and fights.
    Some small bugs like few time i lost cotrol on keybort (after dead keybord was working fine). one time was missing a part ofmap so    This game has got everything i like. Super-duper story. Very movie like game. The Story is ready to use in a great movie. NIce graphics (even on rtx3050 and works well on low and dlss), nice models, great locations. Good filling during exploration and fights.
    Some small bugs like few time i lost cotrol on keybort (after dead keybord was working fine). one time was missing a part ofmap so it was immposible to go furhter and the same dead fixed problem.

    But compparing to DEAD SPACE remake (rather pooooor remaster) and jedi survivor this game is like Greek's amrosia

    Immortals of Aveum adds some fresh twists to the formula, but mostly sticks to the basics of the fps genre. The worldbuilding and overall presentation look great, and shooting the different kinds of magic powers feels responsive and fun. But there are some flaws that do retract from the overall experience. The story goes all over the place in terms of tone, and performance wise there is still a lot of progress to be made. In between all the 2023 heavy hitters, Immortals sadly just falls a bit flat.

    You can certainly have your fun with Immortals of Aveum – its world is unique and there simply aren’t enough magic shooters of this caliber out there. The bugs are annoying, and have hopefully been patched by the time you’re reading this, but if not, you’ll have to have a little patience with the game. It’s not a must-play shooter – better battles as the game progresses instead of a “more is better” philosophy towards enemies and more freedom to experiment with different spell combos rather than just matching colors would help, as well as more interesting and challenging puzzles.
