Apr 10, 2024A bit like living out any HGTV dream, the game gives so many options and tools to creative designers. Anyone who enjoys decorating and building homes in The Sims would likely fall in love with the freedom of House Flipper 2 and its design potential. Whether going through the story mode and helping clients who are emailing with a design issue, or playing in the Sandbox mode, there is a variety of diverse gameplay modes available to players.

Apr 10, 2024House Flipper 2 is a genuinely impressive effort to spin an awkward, viral oddity into a more structured and goal-oriented game that builds on the moreish qualities of the original while honing its visual language and hugely expanding on its possibilities. It's just as good on PS5 too, with solid performance and mostly-intuitive controls making it a great choice of platform for budding flippers out there.

Apr 21, 2024House Flipper 2 is mainly a refinement compared to the first part. Not much has changed in terms of gameplay and some more content in the form of more furniture could be added. Still, that doesn't spoil the fun. The enormous freedom and extra polish make this a pleasant and creative experience.

Dec 12, 2023House Flipper 2 showed me the joy of cleaning, throwing out the trash and donning my paint roller. I thoroughly hate cleaning and interior decor discussions in real life, but there’s an innate satisfaction that comes with doing it virtually the real world just can’t replicate. It has some issues and it might be too chilled for its own good in places, but House Flipper 2 is a DIY project worth taking on.

Apr 29, 2024House Flipper 2 is a great installment in the ever-expanding genre of games all about doing chores we play games to avoid doing. It serves as a great creative outlet for people who love interior design, and to help people discover their love of it. However, it's not for everyone. And I can easily see some people getting bored with the admittedly repetitive experience rather quickly.

Apr 11, 2024House Flipper 2 is a wonderful house-management game that deserves a far better console port than the one it got. Based purely on the content of the game itself, impressive sandbox offerings and relaxing gameplay come together to make an umatched experience on those merits. Despite this praise, House Flipper 2 has been saddled with an archaic control scheme that results in what was meant to be a relaxing alternative to busywork, became far too finicky and irritating in places that my relaxation was significantly dented. While it certainly is playable, it isn't how I would recommend the game to interested players without some incredible patience.

Jan 2, 2024While I encountered a few bugs and a little bit of jankiness as I made my way through the game, I consider it to be an acceptable trade-off when it comes to being so engaged and delighted by something I waited so long to play. Empyrean has earned my loyalty in the past with tons of community-driven improvements and DLC that expands the base game in a very compelling way. I have no doubt in my mind that this is yet another game that the development team will quietly build upon for years to come, ensuring that I will always return to Pinnacove.
