Mar 1, 2023A lot of climbing and shooting arrows. 70 Euros for a seven hour game is too much. I wouldn't buy this game again.

May 20, 2023This is the most beautiful game in the early days of PSVR2, and none other even comes close. There are several different tools you can use for climbing which keeps it from getting too stale, and the plot is decent.
-
Feb 24, 2023a beautiful VR experience with exceptional graphics and physics. the climbs are sometimes long and tiring but rewarding and fun thanks to the various tools that will be found. the rail combat system works very well and is fun. Excellent item crafting.

Feb 25, 2023Still playing through this. As others have said it’s mostly climbing. It gets a bit dull climbing all the time. There needs to be more puzzles and battles. I got this with the PSVR2 bundle and it’s definitely not worth the price you pay for it to be included.

Feb 25, 2023It’s not perfect, but it’s great. Great visuals, unmatchably immersive and even though I agree the climbing can get stale, it’s not all the game is about. If anything I could wish less climbing and more action/crafting. All in all it’s great step ahead in VR and if things keep going this way we have great VR games ahead of us. Thanks Guerrilla and Sony :)

Feb 24, 2023The game greatly showcases the power of PS5 and PS VR2. That been said the climbing gets old really fast, it's one of the most motion sickness educing games I played so far. If you can, just pick up the trail version, you won't be missing much.

Feb 25, 2023Game is incredible and the one to beat at the moment for VR. Not since Half Life Alyx have I been this wowed in VR. Was going to give it a 9 but doing 10 to counter all of the people hating giving very low scores and clearly have not ever played the game.

Apr 3, 2023Basically a climbing simulator. There's no open world style exploration like other Horizon games. The combat is one note. Seriously, most of this game is just awkward climbing simulation. The graphics are fantastic. But graphics with nothing else of substance to back it up is not worth buying.
-
Apr 9, 2023It's a boring very limited tech demo. It doesn't have much in common with the actual Horizon games. Also it's definitely not a system seller or something that could convince anyone to spend $550 for PSVR2.
-
Feb 25, 2023The game is about 85% climbing and that's it. I payed this for full 70€ price and all I got was a climbing simulator. Horizon Call of the Mountain was about 6-8 hours long and I want my money back. It also tests your physical strength a lot. Even though the fighting scenes were good and well made, and the graphics looked nice, it's not worth the full price.

Mar 16, 2023Very casual, the most important things are very short (like the fighting), it is a techdemo, not a game... Sony want to convince people to buy PSVR2 for this games? Very sad. And I am very sad too. :/ Buy this on hard discount only!
-
Mar 5, 2023The game worth a 10, I just wish it was a bit longer and allowed a bit more freedom.

-
Feb 24, 2023Wow! I didn't expect it to be this good! It looks beautiful. It is much more immersive than non-vr. Climbing is so much fun. Using the bow without aim assist is a challenge to behold. There is no game on vr to this level. This should be your first game. Go buy it now and enjoy!

Feb 23, 2023Beautiful game - I like the climbing a lot but you’ve got to be a fan of that of course.
-
Feb 26, 2023I really liked the combat of the game from the start and I wasn't a huge fan of the climbing at the start. However, this really grew on me and I liked it very much later on in the game.

Mar 6, 2023我歌唱火焰,在我的眼睛周围,他们永远不会害怕,就像敌人奔向太阳
-
Mar 22, 2023It is not perfect and far away from beeing that but it is a good and solid game that shows the power of the PS5 and the quality of the VR2. 40% less climbing and for that 25% Quests and 25% fights and double the time and the Game would have been a 90++. All in all a must buy in my eyes even for the 70€ but within the Bundle it was 50 and thats totally okay.

Apr 17, 2023An all-new Horizon experience that, with the help of the powerful PSVR 2, will transport you directly into this unique world full of mechanical animals, with never more opportunities to interact in one solid-length adventure for a VR title.
-
Apr 11, 2023As a feat of technical artistry, it’s impressive, sleek, and often breathtaking. But as you’re dangling off a cliff edge, taking a breather from endless, repetitive mountain climbing, you’ll find yourself wondering whether novelty is really enough to justify such a loosely-tied journey. While the experience is impressive in fits and starts, Horizon Call of the Mountain ultimately feels like a puzzle with several pieces missing.
-
Apr 10, 2023Feeling every bit like a AAA game set in the Horizon universe, Call of the Mountain is an immersive and visually impressive experience that falters somewhat in the combat department.
