    Once again, there has never been a more easily triggered, crybaby group of hypocrites as the review bombers on MetaCritic, who cry about literally any mention of anything they don’t like, as “wOkE”. The bar for them pissing their pants is equivalent to the Taliban and middle eastern theocracies at this point. Someone mention a gay person? WOKE! You can literally see the froth forming around their agape mouths. The best part is that it’s the same ones rushing in on any movie, music album or video game, regardless of whether they actually watched, listened or played it (spoiler alert: they haven’t). 95% of them have zero experience with whatever they’re wailing about and just parrot the same vague crap over and over again. I’d love for MC to take some responsibility and IP ban these scrubs, but alas, clicks are king.

    As for those who actually have money to purchase things and come looking for real reviews, I apologize you have to dig through this muck. There are some good ones sprinkled amongst the dredge, so I’ll be brief. The experience you’ll have with this game is inversely proportional to what your standards were going into it. Don’t compare it to the Arkham series; it ain’t that. Combat isn’t as engaging, and it’s not as sprawling and developed as you’d expect for a AAA “open world RPG”. The story develops nicely but the experience as a whole doesn’t feel fully complete. On the technical side, there are legitimate issues and gripes to be had, especially if you’re on a current gen console (PS5/XBOX Series X/S), in particular the frame rate hovering around 30 or less. I’d recommend this for someone who is a big DC/Batman fan, but waiting for some patches and updates to smooth out problems as well as a price drop, isn’t a bad idea. 7/10 game. 10/10 score to do my minuscule part in offsetting the fundamentalists posing as buying customers.    … Expand

    It's not an Arkham game, and that's fine. It's an action RPG. So keep that in mind when going into this game. With that being said, I think this game is a real treat for die hard Batman fans. I love what WB Montreal has done with this and appreciate the different direction they have taken.

    First of all, the graphics are impressive. I'm so immersed in this neon noir styled Gotham City,    It's not an Arkham game, and that's fine. It's an action RPG. So keep that in mind when going into this game. With that being said, I think this game is a real treat for die hard Batman fans. I love what WB Montreal has done with this and appreciate the different direction they have taken.

    First of all, the graphics are impressive. I'm so immersed in this neon noir styled Gotham City, which is filled with people and things to do. The gameplay is incredibly fun once you get used to all the new mechanics and upgrade your stats and unlock new abilities. Also, the combat takedowns in this game are some of the flashiest and most style takedowns I've ever seen. I'm glad they went with the court of owls storyline, it's a great ride with very cool and perhaps slightly predictable twists. Customisation is really well done, with lots of variety in suits to choose from. Especially the Jim Lee inspired suits, they look incredible. I haven't even spoken about how awesome co-op is, it adds a whole other dimension to the game and opens up another level of enjoyment when exploring the city and stopping crime with your friends.

    The performance issues at launch are not great, but I expect fixes to roll out soon as is the case with most games. WBM have even created a bug tracking system for players to submit their issues to, so that's a good sign.    … Expand

    Do not listen to the hate! Only reason people are crying is because its 30fps and no performance mode. So that is why you are seeing such division in scores. I will take beautiful nex gen graphics with 30fps any day over performance mode. Graphics here are truly amazing and the gameplay, open world and combat are all very good!     This game is one of the most fun I’ve played all year. And I’ve played Elden Ring and Horizon FW.     Personally I like this better than Arkham and the I enjoy different combat for a change and it's more fitting for a rpg like similar to dark souls, plus the multiplayer is awesome. This game is RPG and NOT a Arkham action game.     Dar nota zero porque o jogo roda a 30 FPS é coisa de criança/jovem/adulto mimado. O jogo é bom, nota 8, mas por causa dos mimados vou deixar 10. Parabéns a WB Games por dublar o jogo em pt-br.

    30+ hrs into the game, and it's evident that this game needs the player to put those initial hours in to really open up (similar to days gone), but once it does open up, it's almost like a love letter to the bat family comic book fans! This game is in no way unnecessary or bad. It's above average in the initial hours, and good to almost a masterpiece post those hours!     great game, I can't tear myself away from the premiere! Gotham looks wonderful, the fight is fun and you can't get enough. engaging quests and missions. do not listen to those crazy people who do not tailor but spam because the game has 30fps. on ps5 stably.

    Amazing and fun, Gotham Knights looks visually beautiful & stunning. Had a lot of fun playing the Co-op with my little brother. This was definitely a different take from the arkham Series. Some people may like it and others won't. But don't listen to reviews and go give it a try for yourself.

    Im a arkham fanboy, but i'm loving this game, loved the city, and how gotham is more alive in this game, the gameplay is fun, and i liked the characters, i dont know why the media critics are so harsh on this game

    Really don't understand where all the hate and bad reviews this game is getting!! WB Montreal did an amazing job all around!! Gotham City is absolutely stunning, and the gameplay is great! Stop comparing this to the Rocksteady games cause it's not supposed to be one of those! This is a must play to anyone who likes open world RPG's

    The story is greatly thought out and very interesting though it may not be perfect and has some weaker moments.     The story is greatly thought out and very interesting though it may not be perfect and has some weaker moments. The main characters we have here have charm and all have different personalities and feelings and struggles. The graphics are pretty great and the game may run at 30 but honestly it doesn't take that long until you get used to it.

    And lastly the gameplay, the strongest part of the game and the game that has the most potential, the gameplay is extremely good and all the characters play differently and are all fleshed out. I don't understand the hate for the gameplay here, its truly very good and satisfying when using all your momentum abilities, hacking electronics or beating down foes with Barbara, using your piercing bullets from a range and being a brawler with Red Hood, using his acrobatic skills to his advantage and bouncing from enemy to enemy with Nightwing, playing stealthy, using your staff to strike enemies fluidly and teleporting from enemy to enemy with Robin. It's all so good!

    Some key issues I have with the game however is levels can sometimes be tedious to get through as the level design isn't very well thought out and honestly very average. Some story missions feel very lazy and half assed forcing you to do some crimes and just slapping a cutscene at the end of it. The gear system can monotonous as you constantly have to create new gear when leveling up and swapping your current gear with gear that just does more damage and so on and so forth. Some enemies are just very annoying and tedious to get through as some higher tier enemies or the talons for example will continuously dodge your attacks. And a final complaint would be the fact that sometimes you may have to grind to do certain missions or you'll find that enemies/bosses will be health sponges and it can get very annoying.

    But overall, we have a very solid game here and I would recommend it to anyone, the core of the game has lots of potential for a sequel with the main issue being that the game is just rough around the edges in a lot of aspects, but again with the main core mechanics, story and characters being overall very good. 8/10    … Expand

    The game is not perfect, but it’s still a 10 for me! It’s the most fun I’ve ever had on a co-op campaign, exploring the city separately and coming together for mission is really fun and the team attacks are awesome!

    It started with the Arkham series and then it was PS4 Spiderman but now objectively the evolution and current peak of superhero videogames is without a doubt Gotham Knights. Thank you so much Warner Bros Montreal!

    Is the game perfect? Obviously not, but the amount of reviews giving this game a 0 based solely on 30fps is ridiculous. This score is to even out the crappy reviews this game is getting.

    I’m really enjoying the game so far. I’d probably give the game a 8. If your a Batman fan I think you will enjoy this game. If your not a pretentious fps snob.

Every single boss in the game is amazing (except 1 which I admittedly despise) combat feels more rewarding as I learn more about the games mechanics. For instance grabbing an enemy while someone is about to shoot you forces them to lineAs someone who feels that fps is an irrelevant factor in how good a game is I adore this game. To such a degree it's one of my favorite games of the year. Every single boss in the game is amazing (except 1 which I admittedly despise) combat feels more rewarding as I learn more about the games mechanics. For instance grabbing an enemy while someone is about to shoot you forces them to line up the shot again. While the movement definitely could have been better it's still extremely fun grappling around. Plenty of things to do and find. But don't get me wrong it's far from perfect. Collectibles are all a nightmare to find without just googling it as none of these very small items have hints on where to find them. Bike is very underwhelming considering it's the only vehicle. And while I enjoy learning about the mechanics of each enemy they could have used a tips menu of some kind. But even with all that being said. I love this game. And I highly recommend it as long as you aren't obsessed with the notion of fps like many of the other reviews here.… Expand

    Gotham knights is a lot of fun! Playing coop with friends is a great time. Ive been a fan of the Arkham series since day one. This is a different experience but extremely fun in its own way! 10/10 would buy

    You all know the praise don't knock it till you have tried it. That is a great saying for this game everyone is giving it a zero just because of 30 fps, but if it were to have more then graphics would not be as good. It also has a pretty cool story and fun combat. This game I would recommend if you are looking for a fun game to play.

    Really not as bad as people say. Comparable to Marvel Avengers in my opinion. I give a ten to outweigh the unfair zeros in here. I would give it a 7/10.

    This is a great game it should be game of the year with the in-depth story. This isn't the end of Batman's legacy of games. This is like the Matrix in the end the critics will change their mind. Everyone give this game a 10.

    The game is a ton of fun for fans of DC and the Batman Family. Even if you don't know much about them, the combat is not Arkham but it's excellent in its own right. The gameplay loop is quite addictive. My only wish would be that I could take an AI companion with me if I wanted. It is only 30fps on PS5, but it doesn't ruin the experience, at least for me, at all.

    This game is everything to me, we get to experience the members of the bat family to know how useful and powerful they can be!
    With patches, updates and DLCs, this game will be 10/10!

Playing this game alongside my boyfriend has been an absolute joy and seeing the interaction between our two characters (Barbara and Jason) has been some of my favourite gaming moments. This game was worth the hype for me. The game was really made for the fans of the comics and the Batman universeThis Game is absolutely brilliant.     If you like the Batman Mythos, this is a game you should, at the very least, give a try to.
    The 4 characters are interesting, and have their own playstyle, albeit very similar in combat.
    The world is HUGE and fun to explore once you get a secondary traversal method. The enemies, while generic, are fun to take on, and even stealth is enjoyable to me. I won't lie and say this game is    If you like the Batman Mythos, this is a game you should, at the very least, give a try to.

    I won't lie and say this game is without flaws however.

    The crafting system seems like it was just thrown in to give you something to do, but it is fun to play with and create new costumes.

    The combat is definitely repetitive, but its a Batman game so I can give it a pass.

    The lack of the iconic gadgets does reduce your ability to truly step into the shoes of the 4 heroes, but it doesn't take it completely away.

    I look at this as, maybe like Arkham Asylum, they are testing new ground, want to make more in the franchise, and expand later.

    It's also supposed to be they are taking over from Batman after he destroyed the Batcave and everything in it, so that might include most of his tech, which would explain why they don't have the same gadgets.

    Overall I don't understand the hate, and reading other reviews it seems everyone is focused on Graphics instead of Gameplay.
    In fact, most of the Negative Reviews I've read are all about the FPS and Graphics.

    The city is beautiful, iconic landmarks dot the skyline and several places are just fun to go look at.
    The story, so far, is enjoyable to me, and I'm already developing theories about iconic villains that could appear, but again, like Arkham Asylum, they might be tipping the iceberg to expand in another game later.

    Overall this is a solid entry that brings some new ideas to the table, but maybe could have learned from their own lore and made sure to focus on the things that make the Arkham games great.

    At the end of the day I think the game is fun and enjoyable, and I like coming up with ways to take down thugs from stealth, or panic them so they start looking around for me to lure them in for a takedown.

    the fast paced combat is also a lot of fun to me.

The 4 new protagonists, however, let us experience what it means to be a protector in Gotham now that the dark knight is gone.

    The characters have a huge range of customisation and development, including skills and special abilities. Combat abilities vary from close to range abilities, with a couple of fun twists here and there, all unique to the individual characters.

    The navigation through the city also varies from character to character, although everyone can use the batcycle.

    Overall it's a very fun and engaging experience, which I highly recommend.    … Expand

Arkham gamekhez képest nagyon más a harcrendszere nekem batman harcrendszer jobban tetszik. A boss fightot jobban élvezem mint az arkham gamekbe. Nekem nem tűnt fel hogy 30fps a game. PS5 jól van optimizálva. 1 bug volt az se volt vészes.

I came back to several updates and the game runs great. There are still some flaws (why no jump button?!?!) but the game is really good. It made me feel responsible for a city and gave me a sense of emersion.     Loving the game, it's different from the Batman games and that means it doesn't get the same old same feeling! Combat is fast and the graphics are good, love the cinematics. I've been a Batman fan all my life so I would have gotten it anyway but I was pleasantly surprised by this.

I preordered it knowing it wasn't a continuation of the Arkham series, and instead knew it was a new spin. I've currently done all the Mr.Freeze, Clayface, and Harley side quests and am about level 25. I've seen really no glitches, the combat is more arpg like than the Arkham series. The storyline is compelling and has me wanting to play more. People complaining about the 30fps have either not been gaming long or haven't done the homework. There is the main story but then there are also a lot of crimes going on and different factions to fight. The main issue is the performance is locked at 30FPS and even dips under that target.     i don't understand the bad reviews...30fps? sure..but it's not like it's a new thing today. Gotta say i enjoy this game way more then i enjoyed God of War Ragnarok. Yes it is a bit like the Ubisoft formula..only i enjoy playing it here. Was one of the most fun i had after Elden ring

    Never bought the game due to the reviews and the 30 fps, but got it cheap and wow!!! This was not a $90 game at 30fps but it would have been at 60fps. This game is great and the story is fun as heck. Once you get over the fact this is not a Batman game and go into as an entirely new concept it actually works very well. The fighting is so fun once you start to upgrade your character andNever bought the game due to the reviews and the 30 fps, but got it cheap and wow!!!     After spending 50+ hours in this game, I can safely say the critics are wrong about this one. It is very similar to Marvels Spiderman games, mixed with elements of Destiny. Combat is a blast and Gotham is so much fun to navigate around. The story is great too.

    1- First thing Don't compare Gotham Knights with Batman Arkham Knight, this is unfair to both games, there is a big difference between Action Adventure Open World game and Action RPG open world game

    2- really loved everything about the game from the story to the four superheroes too, it's gotham city, it's life full of peoples and great gameplay

    I don't know about others but I love this game. When it comes to wanting a game that really makes you feel like being a superhero this is the best I have ever played. Going out night after night and waging war on crime of the worst city in the world. This is exactly what I wanted and what I got.

    Really great game with surprisingly good grapics to be a open world game, why do some reviews try to be so negative no idea.
    On ps5 it is stabile 30fps and it feels ok to be only 30fps. If you like superhero games you would need this one, better then avengers and guardians.

    Yet another game that was expected to be the second coming but is just good but not excellent. Excellent atmosphere and above average gameplay. Great story and characters. Highly recommended! In a few years will be treated as a classic like Skyrim and Cyberpunk.

    - Combat is challenging and the hero animations are so damn sweet!

    - Co-op (do I need to say anything more).

    - Probably the first superhero game where you can really impact how you wish to play. You get to pick between 4 very different characters that all have a unique fighting style. You get to choose your outfits and customize your stats to fit your play style.

    I’m in love with the game. It’s has its glitches, very few but they do happen, but the crimes all over the city and 4 playable characters with single or coop is what the Batman games always needed and never got. The different costumes and enemy types keep me busy and the story and the rpg elements are a nice touch. Looking forward to wants in store for DLC!

    Very fun game, people complain about refresh rate and buggy. I have played through the game 3 times and countless hours of side quests and very rarely ran into a bug. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion but tot game is fun and most gripes are about refresh rate not actual game play.

    I am really enjoying this game. Yes it not perfect but I like the choice to play as 4 characters. The batcycle is far too slow but for everyone banging on about fps I just don't even really notice it. So as for me I'm really enjoying it and im glad i bought it.

    Its solid, ran fine on my older 5 year old system at 1080p and has a lot of fun characters to enjoy.. Not a fan of Batman myself but like the Bat family a lot. The systems are fun the loot is fun and the world feel just right. The combat feels deeper than Arkham series and looks a lot nicer as well, and finally less Rain 24/7..

    Solid 8/10 for me.

    My friend and I played all the weekend, about 20 hours, and we love playing coop. The is much better with a friend then single player. Massive problem I have is the 10fps-30fps that ruin the experience for me and gave me a headache. I enjoy the exploration and combat but the fps is bad. The stealth isn't great and is clunky also. Robin is my favorite character.

    More then decent game now after the latest update the game runs great still has some mem. leaks prob after a while but way way better then it was at launch at least.
    Gameplay its not bad (even if not on par with Arkham Knights) also the visuals are great .
    Not a top game but still a 7.7/10 fun to play the city looks great in 4K with RT ON.

Combat can get dull after a bit (if you’re wanting to beeline the story missions and button mash) but the game offers so many options whether it be the character choice or the 8+ abilities you get for each. You can alter the method in which you encounter enemies. You can cheese the game, or be meticulous and see the hard work the development team put into the animations and feedback. The combat in my opinion, though similar to spider man minus the floaty maneuvers, is fun in its own right. It’s flashy, has some decent variety in enemy types and crimes, and just has not gotten boring for me. The story is interesting. It’s engaging, it feels decently rooted in the city you run around in. A city I’m aiming to 100% just like Spider-Man. It’s a comic book game, don’t get me wrong, but it wears this on its sleeve and still manages to at least touch on the multi-dimensional layers a human can have. The game knows it’s gritty, nonsensical, and flashy. The characters even know this. The suits and color ways are absolutely mint to go through and wear out on the town. I mainly main Red-Hood but can be quite honest when I’ve found myself losing time with the other characters and their options. It’s steeped in variety and gives incentive to actually wear the new gear you craft or catch (unlike Avengers/Marvel’s Numbers) I’m still randomly swapping out suits for either elemental reasons, critical chance reasons, or style; often the game aligns all three of these at once in a suit for me. I’m in love.

    Is it worth it for 70$?? I don’t think most games are without a decent amount of support for the game given after launch. As for right now, without the optimization rolled out, gauntlet mode released, or possible DLCs mentioned, I’d only recommend this game for about $45-$55 range. I think the developers should definitely reap the rewards of their efforts but I, like most, worry about my own financial/enjoyment situation more than I do being persuasive. It’s a fun game. More fun if you love the characters. Story holds onto you, world is just flashy and interesting enough to keep you, combat feels very open to many styles. Worth it for me!! 81/100    … Expand

    This game is much better than reviews led me to believe which is why I’m glad I gave it a chance. The gameplay loop is oddly addicting and it’s fun going around Gotham stopping crimes and interacting with the villains. Some people enjoy playing games and some people just enjoy complaining about them.     I didn't want to buy it because of the reviews until the price dropped at the end of the year and I bought it. The truth is that I am enjoying it and the story seems very good. The graphics are not a disaster, they are good but obviously not like other games. I would give it a 10 but because of some little things about the gameplay I give this an 8.

    Gotham Knights is a good, fun game. Not sure if it’s been patched heavily between the critical reviews at release and now but it feels many are jumping against this game for no reason. Pre-release, there was a huge negative response to the fact this game is 30fps however I find the game plays well and cannot see any issue with the frame rate. I’m not massively into Batman so felt all the positive reviews were just fans sticking up for the game however I ended up buying this game on back Friday for £30 which I think is fair.

    I’d like to feel like the Batcycle has a bit more to it. It feels almost pedestrian whilst riding. The combat was slated in reviews but I have no issue with it. Do I think this is Game of the Year? No. Do I think this is a fun, chilled game that I can dib in and out of? Yes. Not yet tried co-op but heard good things from a friend.    … Expand

    The game is not bad and serves you a lot. You want a hero? You have four. Want big missions? Usually you have about three going at once. You want side missions? You've got a city full of them. Which doesn't mean it's a great game. Just good and solid. [Issue#323]

    Not being content with being one of the most soulless products released under the Warner Bros. label, it is also extremely underwhelming from a technical point of view. Gotham Knights was originally developed as a multi-gen title, but PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions got cancelled. Despite this, the visuals underwhelm and fail to impress and manage to look worse than the last major Batman instalment released seven years prior. Capping at a mere 30fps might be excusable if this boasted the most cutting edge visuals on the market, but it manages to look cheap and dated. For a AAA production from Warner Bros., this should have been a visual tour de force, with top writing talent, and have evolved the gameplay to compete with its contemporaries. Maybe it can be salvaged over time with updates, but currently it's one of the most droll and sloppily designed triple-A products of 2022.

    Gotham Knights would be a great game, its sandbox approach to exploring Gotham is top-notch and its story keeps you just engaged enough to keep playing. The problem lies in the game’s lackluster combat and endless fighting cycles of beating up the same factions over and over and over with little to no variation to dialogue.
