    Don't buy this. This game runs at 30fps barely, gameplay is awful, characters and voice acting is bad, story was the only thing acceptable in this game, if you're a big batman fan and Gotham in general, this game is a big trap for a bad experience.

    You know, Gotham Knights isn't so bad if it's approached without being tied to previous Batman games. But this doesn't mean that there are no complaints about the game. Trust me, I have a lot of them!

    This game is fantastic, I love the story, graphics and game play. It's not like the Arkham games which I also love, it's different but not worse. It requires a lot more reading, there's a lot more to it and the game doesn't make it easy to just jump in and play, there's definitely a learning curve. Once you understand all the many categories and tabs of information it's a very engaging experience.

    The previous chapters had a very funny combat system. Why change it? This game is boring, if you played the various Batman before. Tried but immediately returned to Steam.

    I played it hoping it'd be better than on release but this is the sort of bad game that can't be fixed with patches. Clunky fighting, boring dialogue and dreadful enemies. Boss fights are the worst part with them being pure damage sponges. Avoid at all costs

    What I like most about Gotham Knights is how it feels like a day in the life of a vigilante. I enjoyed the to do list of missions and the freedom to take on different adventures anyway I pleased. It made me feel responsible for a city and gave me a sense of emersion. The combat was very familiar from the latest Batman and Spiderman video games, and I had a blast crafting and collectingWhat I like most about Gotham Knights is how it feels like a day in the life of a vigilante. I enjoyed the to do list of missions and the freedom to take on different adventures anyway I pleased. It made me feel responsible for a city and gave me a sense of emersion. The combat was very familiar from the latest Batman and Spiderman video games, and I had a blast crafting and collecting suits. The copious amount of dialogue between the main characters made them feel three dimensional people. Leveling was simple and concise.

    Again, getting lost in all the things to do, mysteries to solve and characters to meet was my favorite part.    … Expand

    Me ha encantado este juego. Es todo lo que pedía para Spiderman y aquí se me ha concedido. Nightwing es el hombre más sexy de todos los juego que he jugado.

Il DLC delle torri è brutto ripetitivo i piani uguali al loro fine è da Gravemente insufficiente non c'è neanche un piano diverso sempre la stessa da A a B. Complessivamente è appena sufficiente mi dispiace questo è la maestra della ripetitività. Erano meglio Mad Max e Batman Arkham che si dimostrano superiori e divertenti almeno i due giochi hanno in comune che i veicoli sono utili qui la moto non è necessaria non c'è motivo di quest' sulla moto troppo accessorio per gli spostamenti.… Expand

    Gioco mediocre, noiosissimo che sembrava una demo, missioni ripetitive fino al esaurimento nervoso, brutti i contenuti aggiuntivi e narrazione fallimentare. Finale brutto. È un fallimento questo gioco. Spero che il Rinvio di Suicide Squad Kill the Justice League abbia fatto cosa giusta rinviarlo.

    Em português: Vale comprar apenas em promoções 60/70% de desconto, porém é divertido , principalmente jogando com um amigo. Não é essa porcaria que estão falando por aí. Porradaria divertida, gráfico bonito mesmo com 30FPS. Numa boa promoção , vale muito a pena.

    Once you accept it's not an Arkham-style game it's very fun. The main story is not as good as side cases but I didn't care as much cause it's so fun going out on patrol. Beating up gangs and finding new suit and weapon upgrades keeps you engaged. Maybe if the 4-player, Heroic Assault mode was available at launch, the reception would be more positive but I guess the devs were not ready.Once you accept it's not an Arkham-style game it's very fun.     gotham is beautiful to see, the graphics are nice, but the city is a little too empty, the game is too repetitive, it is appreciated, even if I would have expected more. the walk of the characters is too woody.

    ⚠️  Spoiler ⚠️ Cons: My main issue with this game had to be the fact that Gliding and using the grapple hook felt very slow, I don't know why and it just made traversing Gotham so boring. The bike you get in the game is also for some reason very slow. Most of the time while driving in a straight line it takes me awhile even to catch up to other cars. So yeah, traversal just feels very slow. Another bad thing in this game has to be the Transmog, if you don't know what Transmog is its basically an option to cover up your suit with another suit without changing the stats. My problem with this is the fact that you can't customize the transmog armors. It ruins the whole point of having a transmog option in the game. I really hope they fix this in the future but for now...I'd say the transmog is **** I am still happy they have the transmog system since there's like 2 outfits that's actually good without customization. Last bad thing has to be the grinding. If you wish to get to 20,000 + power to play the showdowns and survival in the game you have to go on New Game + since normally the level is capped at 30 which means you may get a level 40 armor. However if you go on new game + you can get to level 40 and get level 60 armor, so yeah. I did play the game twice and eventually I did the showdown I wanted too. The one I'm talking about Is the final boss. Oh that reminds me, a small complaint has to be her katanas hitbox, I've seen Souls Game bosses with better hitboxes. Anyways back to the Grinding, trying to get Legendary items is so painful and very annoying. I think I sat there grinding crimes for awhile just to get Legendary armor sets.

    Pros: The Graphics are pretty nice in this game, however it just feels like it was missing something in the world. Can't really put my finger on it though. Anyways. The armor sets in the game is very nice. I am a huge fan of Batwoman and I actually managed to somewhat replicate Batwoman using Batgirl. The game may have been decent but I can't explain how thankful I am to be able to actually play as "Batwoman". I say "Batwoman" since it's just Batgirl. So yeah DC fans...calm down. Anyways, as I said. I'm just super happy that I could play as Batwoman. The best part of this game has to be the Photomode, I can't express how good it is! I can explain it though. So, the photomode includes...Weather, Filters, Poses, Lighting, Facial Expression, Colors and so much more. I absolutely love it and I may just keep the game download to take some more pictures.

    Story: For the story. The opening cutscene of the game was pretty well made if I'm gonna be honest. I actually enjoyed it. Later on in the story you're able to unlock another skill tree. It's actually game changing since it gives you the ability to use a glide mechanic....which was still slow....but hey. It's better than nothing. The boss fights in this game was pretty cool  there wasn't many and I know there's another hidden in the survival mode. Oh and no Talia Al Ghul, I am not talking about you! Your boss fight sucks! The combat in the game was pretty smooth and satisfying, it wasn't perfect and I definitely prefer Batman Arkham Knights Combat instead, oh also...you can't lock onto enemies in this game, it isn't really a con for me since I got used to it. For the actual story...it was abit short but it was alright. I kinda realized how short it was after playing the game on new game plus focusing on the story. 7.5/10 not the best...but hey, Batgirl.    … Expand

    You all know the praise don't knock it till you have tried it. That is a great saying for this game everyone is giving it a zero just because of 30 fps, but if it were to have more then graphics would not be as good. It also has a pretty cool story and fun combat. This game I would recommend if you are looking for a fun game to play.

    There is alot of reasons to give GN a low score and they are all very valid from what I have seen.But I had such a great time playing with and Upgrading the Gorgous Bat Girl , that I have to admit I like this game...
    It is generic , it's full of the tired modern game mechanics and it 30fps, the ultimate next gen sin..But unlocking Bat Girls abilities and crafting her next sexy outfit had    There is alot of reasons to give GN a low score and they are all very valid from what I have seen.But I had such a great time playing with and Upgrading the Gorgous Bat Girl , that I have to admit I like this game...

    I let critical reviews put me off for a long time and only recently got it on sale, game is actually pretty good and I’m surprised with the negativity. Maybe with the patches to date it’s improved things, but even so there’s a lot of great things that would have been in the game from release day that we’re sold short.

    Started slow and limited combat and just moving around the city sucked. I fell for the bad reviews and shelved the game. Finished GOWR and played it again. Turns out if you are looking for immediate greatness and have patience it's a pretty great game. The better combat comes from the momentum moves and the movement around the city comes from knighthood.     Never bought the game due to the reviews and the 30 fps, but got it cheap and wow!!! This was not a $90 game at 30fps but it would have been at 60fps. This game is great and the story is fun as heck. Once you get over the fact this is not a Batman game and go into as an entirely new concept it actually works very well. The fighting is so fun once you start to upgrade your character andNever bought the game due to the reviews and the 30 fps, but got it cheap and wow!!! Advertise the update and attract players back to really experience Gotham Knights like it deserves to be played.     Far, far better game than the credit it received at launch. Take away the whole Batman theme and it's a decent open world action game. Smooth combat, excellent visual detail, solid animation and a half decent story. Unfortunately the 30fps console versions and technical issues at launch killed it. On a decent PC and with the updated patches and at £17 (I paid in the epic Xmas sales) it's aFar, far better game than the credit it received at launch. Take away the whole Batman theme and it's a decent open world action game. Smooth combat, excellent visual detail, solid animation and a half decent story. Unfortunately the 30fps console versions and technical issues at launch killed it. On a decent PC and with the updated patches and at £17 (I paid in the epic Xmas sales) it's a bargain,fun and enjoyable video game. I am comfortably ranging between 60 and 120fps with native 4K and Ray Tracing on...using a 4080 and even with my previous 3080 I would generally hit 60 with no RT at 1440p. Ignore the console nonsense and if you have a good PC and it's on sale it's a decent game...and you can feel the detail in the visuals...audio and combat.… Expand

    More then decent game now after the latest update the game runs great still has some mem. leaks prob after a while but way way better then it was at launch at least.
    Gameplay its not bad (even if not on par with Arkham Knights) also the visuals are great .
    Not a top game but still a 7.7/10 fun to play the city looks great in 4K with RT ON.

    Overall I enjoy the game a lot. The main storyline was very interesting to me and the side mission storylines were okay enough. The combat in the game felt very lackluster which is partly my fault because I was thinking the combat would be more like the Arkham Knight series, and it's not. I also didn't enjoy the way the characters traversed the open world of Gotham. It felt clunky and notOverall I enjoy the game a lot.     Well this is developed by some high reputation companies like QLOC and Warner bros, but I expected so much more! I bought these with a discount and I am glad I did not pay full price! I deleted the game in a second! if PSN had a refund policy these game companies would think twice before releasing everything they see with false advertisement!

    I would be lying if I said I didn’t get any enjoyment out of this game but in a world where superhero games like the Arkham series and Marvel’s Spider-Man series from Insomniac exist, games with poor narratives and repetitive combat like Gotham Knights will always fail to shine. This game looks like something that started as a GaaS and somewhere down the line turned into a basic RPG with aI would be lying if I said I didn’t get any enjoyment out of this game but in a world where superhero games like the Arkham series and Marvel’s Spider-Man series from Insomniac exist, games with poor narratives and repetitive combat like Gotham Knights will always fail to shine. This game looks like something that started as a GaaS and somewhere down the line turned into a basic RPG with a lacklustre story and a downright terrible ending. A positive is that the world design, especially indoor areas look pretty good. The smaller boss questlines such as Harley Quinn and Mr. Freeze were better than the main campaign but not by much. Overall, I’d recommend if you can get it at a very good price for a single playthrough but I don’t see myself playing this game again.… Expand

I sat there for twelve hours feeling nothing whatsoever. I was on autopilot the whole time, because absolutely nothing pulled me in whatsoever.

    To give some praise, I will say that the character designs look nice. They feel modernized in a way that doesn’t feel over the top. The voice acting was also.. Average. Nobody did a bad job, at least.

    Nothing, like, SUCKED, but there’s really no reason to go out of your way to play it, honestly. This game will be forgotten quickly by those who played it, and the industry in general. It’s so depressingly lifeless and forgettable.    … Expand

    Can't compete with the brilliance of the Arkham games in terms of story or voice acting, but this is an ok game worth picking up when it's on a deep discount. This could have been a great game but there's so many weird camera angles and swinging around the city is clunky and makes you miss the Arkham games or Spiderman which are beautiful. Children can't learn the language so quickly or so quickly to read and translate playing the game! Reconsider your views and be more human! Developers of other games do not behave like this. I came back to several updates and the game runs great. There are still some flaws (why no jump button?!?!) but the game is really good.     The combat was pretty mid, just seemed to lack any real depth at all, the voice acting and characters are hit and miss. There have possibly been just too many batman games the last decade that Harley, Freeze, Clayface, etc. feel a little too well worn and tiring. Its bad, just average.

    The open world looks great but the streets are extremely empty with little to do beyond the basic busywork. In many ways the open world gameplay loop reminded me of older titles like mafia 2, watch dogs and sleeping dogs only with the 'looter shooter'' mechanics added into it.

    Overall I felt the same sort of weird disconnect between the story and the open world sections was similar to Spiderman ps4. If you liked that I would say this will appeal to you.     I didn't want to buy it because of the reviews until the price dropped at the end of the year and I bought it. The truth is that I am enjoying it and the story seems very good. The graphics are not a disaster, they are good but obviously not like other games. I would give it a 10 but because of some little things about the gameplay I give this an 8.

Basic skills which are available straight out of the gate in Arkham KnightI REALLY wanted to like this game. I loved the Arkham games, especially Arkham Knight. The combat was fluid, and the character progression and storytelling was well paced. The city actually felt ALIVE! In Gotham Knights, the city feels dead and hollow. The combat is clunky, repetitive and not intuitive whatsoever. Basic skills which are available straight out of the gate in Arkham Knight are locked behind skills which require skill points in Gotham Knights. The side missions are basic and all of them feel lazily scripted and very copy paste with little to no variation between the similar types (I did two investigation scenes back to back and they were the exact same clues and setup for both). There isn't very much incentive to switch between characters, as they all play basically the same with very slight variances (you can cape glide with Batgirl but not with anyone else, you can stealth takedown enemies from Gargoyles as Robin but not as anyone else). The voice acting gets annoying very quickly, as there only appears to be a small selection of recordings for each character when you're out exploring. The concept of this game was very promising, and had they spent more time on developing the individual characters, their skills and move set, it could have been a really fun game to play. Instead, it feels like they've taken a giant step backwards in the franchise.

    The driving on the Batcycle is also horrendous. It doesn't give any sensation of speed, it handles like something from a late 90s Sega game and the character animations when you're driving are non -existent. It may as well be a large piece of ham on the bike with the throttle taped open.

    Overall, I don't believe this is a AAA title worthy of a $90 price tag. It feels and plays more like a made-for-mobile game. Maybe it's more fun in multiplayer but I gave up on the game before giving that a chance. With a campaign that's just over 10 hours, I'd say wait until this comes out free as a PS Plus title.    … Expand

    This game is not nearly as bad as people will have you believe. Combat, while not Arkham, is still pretty fun and the story is really good. Customization is also pretty good. It’s definitely not a top of the line AAA game, but there’s still a lot to enjoy. Solid 7/10, definitely worth it if it’s on sale

    Very fun game, people complain about refresh rate and buggy. I have played through the game 3 times and countless hours of side quests and very rarely ran into a bug. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion but tot game is fun and most gripes are about refresh rate not actual game play.

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Big DC fan. Love the comics/graphic novels and a lot of the animated films. This game was a wasted opportunity in almost every way. Even with that said, it wasn't unplayable and had some (a few) satisfying moments.

    The story had its moments. However (SPOILER) it was clearly only half thought out. The Court of Owls was the big tease, but the story suddenly shifts over to the League of Shadows 3/4 into the game and the Court of Owls becomes insignificant. To kill Bruce Wayne is ballsy. To kill Bruce Wayne, bring him back in the last mission, then kill him off again is lazy and borderline disrespectful to the player.

    The main characters - Nightwing, Red Hood, Batgirl, and Robin - had potential but their arcs could probably be reduced to a 5 minute cut scene to cover the entirety of the game.

    Customization is okay surface level/dated. Half of the skills are a waste. The only characters with different combat styles are Red Hood's pistols (purely aesthetic) and Robin's heavy takedown.

    My biggest complaint isn't graphics or framerate... it's the gameplay. They tried to do free running system where you hold X as you move to maneuver obstacles, but it only works about 1/3 of the time. If I had $1 for every time - after only one playthrough - I ran into a minor obstacle (ceiling exhaust fan or even a 1-2 ft elevation change) and my character completely stopped, killing my momentum, taking me out of the game, and forcing me to clunkily turn around to walk away then awkwardly walk around the obstacle, I'd probably have enough money to almost recoup the money I spent on the game (admittedly, got it on sale).

    The combat is not fluid, but I'm not sure why. It legitimately seems random. Sometimes I point and click the button, and my character flies across the room to engage the next target. Other times, my character just turns around and punches/kicks the air - completely halting any momentum.

    All of the side activities seem pointless. The Mr. Freeze, Clayface, and Harley Quinn side quests have nothing to do with the story (besides the beginning of Harley Quinn's) and seem shoehorned into the game just to bring in more familiar faces. The time trials for each character and the bike don't improve traversal in any way, just unlock new aesthetics. Collecting clues is pointless after the first few story missions. Contact quests are rinse/repeat, infinite grind that game developers need to quit confusing for engaging content. Most wanted is completely random and seems to be more about quantity than quality with respect to additional gameplay. I haven't tried heroic assault, but it looks grindy when I looked it up online.

    This version of Gotham would be a lot more interesting if traversal wasn't so awful (the bike mechanics are garbage - driving feels, sounds, and looks off, the turn radius sucks, drifting seems to be broken, and collisions are awkward (do we have a forcefield that protects both the bike and whoever I hit?). Also, for everyone who complained about Gotham not feeling "alive" in the Arkham games... this Gotham is no better. For a large urban metropolis, the streets feel empty.

    Not worth $70. I'd only recommend it at around $20 and only if 1) the player is a big DC fan and 2) the player wants to try something new instead of replaying the Arkham series.    … Expand

They lock you out of any means od travel through the air at the beginning and you think, ok ill just have to unlock it. I think if anyone played the game would just be fair and know it can not be a 1. The story is short but the three side missions are great. It's no GTA for sure but it has its own vibe. I don't feel 30fps and I don't understand the 0 and 1s. I think if anyone played the game would just be fair and know it can not be a 1. The story is short but the three side missions are great. It's no GTA for sure but it has its own vibe. People are being too harsh on it saying devs are not trying their best making games. I think they are not being fair. The game create a city that has a lot of details. I can't believe I say this but I think it has more details than spiderman. It has undergrounds, warehouses and even the painting on the street has details. The only thing is that it has no weather change and mostly in dark due to the gotham theme. Anyway, don't judge a book by its cover. I am not saying it's a must buy for everyone. But for those who are into DC comics and open world, you might want to give it a try.… Expand

    The game is actually super fun. Too many people are comparing it to the Arkham series and that’s where a lot of the hate comes from unfortunately. If anything this game feels a lot more similar to Spiderman PS4. The combat is fun, every character has their own personality and abilities. The dialogue is alright, kind of cringey sometimes.     The 4 characters are interesting, and have their own playstyle, albeit very similar in combat.
    The world is HUGE and fun to explore once you get a secondary traversal method. The enemies, while generic, are fun to take on, and even stealth is enjoyable to me. I won't lie and say this game is    If you like the Batman Mythos, this is a game you should, at the very least, give a try to.

    I won't lie and say this game is without flaws however.

    The crafting system seems like it was just thrown in to give you something to do, but it is fun to play with and create new costumes.

    The combat is definitely repetitive, but its a Batman game so I can give it a pass.

    The lack of the iconic gadgets does reduce your ability to truly step into the shoes of the 4 heroes, but it doesn't take it completely away.

    I look at this as, maybe like Arkham Asylum, they are testing new ground, want to make more in the franchise, and expand later.

    It's also supposed to be they are taking over from Batman after he destroyed the Batcave and everything in it, so that might include most of his tech, which would explain why they don't have the same gadgets.

    Overall I don't understand the hate, and reading other reviews it seems everyone is focused on Graphics instead of Gameplay.
    In fact, most of the Negative Reviews I've read are all about the FPS and Graphics.

    The city is beautiful, iconic landmarks dot the skyline and several places are just fun to go look at.
    The story, so far, is enjoyable to me, and I'm already developing theories about iconic villains that could appear, but again, like Arkham Asylum, they might be tipping the iceberg to expand in another game later.

    Overall this is a solid entry that brings some new ideas to the table, but maybe could have learned from their own lore and made sure to focus on the things that make the Arkham games great.

    At the end of the day I think the game is fun and enjoyable, and I like coming up with ways to take down thugs from stealth, or panic them so they start looking around for me to lure them in for a takedown.

    the fast paced combat is also a lot of fun to me.

    This could have been a great game, they have new characters and story to bring a refreshing new taste to dinner, but the studio ruined it. The very core fighting mechanics that makes a Batman game, a Batman game, is gone. No more counter and punch, its now a dull evade and punch. If Montreal studios would have done what Santa Monica studios did with God of War, they would have pure gold.This could have been a great game, they have new characters and story to bring a refreshing new taste to dinner, but the studio ruined it.     Es un juego repetivo, lo mejor del juego es su narrativa pero lo demas es repetitivo y aburrido incluso los controles son aburrido solo hay 2 botones de ataque y no existen combos practicamente el juego se basa en pegar x x x x x y ya

    This Game is absolutely brilliant. The story is heartfelt ,funny and overall just wonderful. Playing this game alongside my boyfriend has been an absolute joy and seeing the interaction between our two characters (Barbara and Jason) has been some of my favourite gaming moments. This game was worth the hype for me. The game was really made for the fans of the comics and the Batman universeThis Game is absolutely brilliant.     Performance wise the game launched (and still is) in a disastrous state, I’m on a 4090 and this is the most choppy game experience I had in years. Ray tracing is broken, VRR doesn’t work, and you can’t get a stable 60 fps performance even at 720p / lowest settings even on the most powerful of rigs. This is just ridiculous and this game deserve to fail

    this game is really disappointing. it has pretty cutscenes but gameplay is lacking. two combat buttons and the combat trees dont feel that rewarding to invest all your time into. i wouldnt bother unless you are a really big fan of these characters.

    The game is not bad and serves you a lot. You want a hero? You have four. Want big missions? Usually you have about three going at once. You want side missions? You've got a city full of them. Which doesn't mean it's a great game. Just good and solid. [Issue#323]

    Not being content with being one of the most soulless products released under the Warner Bros. label, it is also extremely underwhelming from a technical point of view. Gotham Knights was originally developed as a multi-gen title, but PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions got cancelled. Despite this, the visuals underwhelm and fail to impress and manage to look worse than the last major Batman instalment released seven years prior. Capping at a mere 30fps might be excusable if this boasted the most cutting edge visuals on the market, but it manages to look cheap and dated. For a AAA production from Warner Bros., this should have been a visual tour de force, with top writing talent, and have evolved the gameplay to compete with its contemporaries. Maybe it can be salvaged over time with updates, but currently it's one of the most droll and sloppily designed triple-A products of 2022.

    Gotham Knights would be a great game, its sandbox approach to exploring Gotham is top-notch and its story keeps you just engaged enough to keep playing. The problem lies in the game’s lackluster combat and endless fighting cycles of beating up the same factions over and over and over with little to no variation to dialogue.
