    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. This is one of the best dlc's ive played in a long time. It dives deeper into Jin's traumatic past and internal struggles, as he goes back to the place where he watched his father die. Yet the story of Iki Island was not what I expected it to be. Jin's character development was so unique, as he finds out his father's dark past and brutal actions which he inflicted upon iki island, and now Jin must face the truth that he might not have known his father as well as he thought he did.

    The island is beautiful and more colorful than the tsushima island itself, the new horse attack was awesome and the new enemies were pretty annoying in a good way, the main antagonist was very very intimidating, the combat and gameplay was perfect and the new side quests and mini games were great as well. But what really amazed me is the story itself that adds to what was an amazing ghost of tsushima story in the original version.    … Expand

    So many combat styles and options. Ninja? Go crazy. Samauri? Yup. Ronin? You betcha. A mongul will fall all the same. Whether or not you lean into the mastery of these styles makes or breaks your experience.

    This is also a looker of a game, the art direction captures the wonder of Japan.

    Such a beautiful game with a very enjoyable combat system. You get to be a samurai and a ninja at the same time. Anyone that has ever wanted to experience that fantasy should try.

    If you are a fan of the initial game, this is a must have DLC. Iki island is equivalent to a single Act in Tsushima (about 15 to 20 hours of content). BUT, Sucker Punch improved TREMENDOUSLY on open world mechanics. The diversity in side stuff to do is much greater, the world is populated better (you'll see more patrols and whatnot), and just greater mystery that leads to being moreIf you are a fan of the initial game, this is a must have DLC. Iki island is equivalent to a single Act in Tsushima (about 15 to 20 hours of content). BUT, Sucker Punch improved TREMENDOUSLY on open world mechanics. The diversity in side stuff to do is much greater, the world is populated better (you'll see more patrols and whatnot), and just greater mystery that leads to being more adventurous on the entire island. You will find Easter eggs hidden and even side quests or events not as telegraphed as Tsushima. Side quests could even have "prologues" after beating the quest (and not exactly mentioned to you) where you may get a nice little bonus--such as returning back to the person's home. It's just a simple conclusion to the aftermath. There will be quests that have choices to be made with consequences. The consequences don't have an impact on the main story but are definitely nice touches.

    Overall, the open world mechanics are vastly improved upon. The story is solid and enjoyable. It keeps a great pace going no matter if you're doing side events or the main plot.

    As for the pricing model, it's $90 (ps5) for literally everything we have been given up to now which is a crap load.The extra $10 to upgrade to native PS5 is a choice and you don't have to pay for it if you don't want to. . People are overly spoiled these days in this industry lol. Be glad Activision did not publish this game because youwould have paid a minimum of $120 by now for what we have gotten. And if you ask, is the $10 worth it? Absolutely yes. I will support SP and Sony on this one, price structuring aside. I would have gladly paid for Legends as a DLC but we got it for free with the base game. Plus the haptic feedbacks, improved 3D audio, and near instant load times (literally almost non-existant) are astounding. Absolutely love the Dual sense and trigger effects.    … Expand

    Ghost of Tsushima returns with the Iki island expansion and it’s great!

    The expansion focuses on Jin Sakai coming to iki island and overcoming his past on how he let his father die. The iki islands story isn’t long at all with a run time of 2hrs on average but whatever it lacks in the story area, it adds up to the incredible scenery of iki island.     If you are playing on the PS5 then you’ll be happy to hear that the controller feels amazing! With ever bow shot to every area you tread, you’ll feel it through the controller!

    Long story short the iki island expansion is an incredible way to get back into Ghost Of Tsushima, especially for the PS5. From amazing scenery to the Silky smooth gameplay, it’ll be a worthwhile expansion to quench your thirst.    … Expand

    If you loved Ghost of Tsushima then you will love Iki Island. Completing the main and secondary quests will take around 10 hours

    نسخه ps5 واقعا لذت بخش تر است و این بسته ی الحاقی با داستان خوب شخصیت پردازی قابل قبول و گیم پلی عالی توانست همانند نسخه ی اصلی منو غافلگیر کنه . واقعا بهترین بازی سامورایی تاریخ صنعت گیم اینجاست . درود بر سونی

    Excellent! The DLC adds quite a few amazing things to the game, but generally just gives you more of a great thing. Finding out more about Jin's family was neat and it definitely holds up the high standard of the base game.

    this DLC is a complete ghost of tsushima experience, the story gets to be subreal and adds a lot to the game. The gameplay is really cool and the vibrations on the controller really make us immerse in the game.

    I really enjoyed the DLC, more than the base game itself which was getting too repetitive. It was a nice change of pace with a good story.

    I enjoyed playing through the mainlining the story expansion but if I'm honest it's not the greatest story and it's a bit predicable. However, once that's done I then travelled around the island on my horse and it was then that the beauty of this title revelaed itself. The island is a living breathing ecosystem. From the monkeys to the mountains and the cats to the beautiful grasslands.I enjoyed playing through the mainlining the story expansion but if I'm honest it's not the greatest story and it's a bit predicable.     It doesn't look stuffed. The story you are told is just as intense and engaging as the one in the main game. Some new mechanics that make the game more entertaining and that happen enough few times so that they don't get boring

    Great graphics, great gameplay, good sound, but very bland and weak story, even worse than the main game. I recommend it if you like the Japanese / samurai theme or Akira Kurosawa movies, otherwise just buy it only on sale.

I didn’t like the fact you can’t play with the Sakai Armor, its not like you get jumped by raiders all the time…… Expand

    And if you absolutely love BDSM, then you can buy this add-on for another € 30 for the game you have already bought on ps4 for € 60

    Where some expansions expand on the gameplay with core changes and new systems, Ghost of Tsushima's Iki Island acts more like an extension of the main game loved by so many - with only minor yet appreciated tweaks. For the most part, in conjunction with changes to enemy combat skills and exploration, along with turning your horse into a weapon, playing through Iki fits wonderfully into this originally three-act epic as a welcome fourth. Ever so slightly dusted with imperfections, the captivating story, combat, graphics, and soundtrack are all still among the very best PlayStation exclusives have to offer, mostly overshadowing any grievances.

    If you’re looking for 10-15 hours more of Ghost of Tsushima but with a greater emphasises on the inner struggles of Jin and an exploration of his backstory coupled with some meaty side quests, cat petting and disgustingly stunning scenery, you really can’t go wrong with taking on the island of Iki.

    Despite those shortcomings, there’s no question that Ghost of Tsushima Iki Island is an entertaining overall experience and I’m confident most players will find it worth the asking price; in particular, because the story strengthens Jin’s character arc by shining a light on an aspect of his youth not particularly well explained in the base game. For that reason, it works as an adventure played alongside the base game, and equally as an engaging new chapter for those playing it after the fact.
