P.s. don't try to obtain every treasure chest (purple dots on the map). So good I was questioning whether I should buy Hogwarts as I was worried it would be a disappointment after playing this.

    I'm honestly shocked this game has such a low user rating score, but I guess I forget how much people enjoy to hate on new things. After playing the demo, I knew I would enjoy this game, but I had relatively low expectations. As someone who has been playing video games for the last 20 years I've found it hard to find a good game that keeps me interested all the way through.

    I was pleasantly surprised on how diverse the spells are, how many spells there are, how much content there is, and I was genuinely interested in the characters and story.

    I want to rank this a 10 to offer the haters, but realistically the game isn't perfect. I feel it's fair to say the game does everything well but could do better in various areas. I think some people don't love the New York Slums personality the main character has. I think people also might struggle to get used to the magic system. Then people also complain about the world being closed off.

    I genuinely really liked the main character and story, and this is where I felt the game would fall short in the demo. The main character is very real and relatable. She's not just some blank slate hero garbage like we typically see. While the magic system did take time to get used to, once you get a feel for it, it's extremely fun. There's also so many different spells and therefore ways you can choose to play. Personally I'm one of the people who pushed the map boundaries of the game from the start. Especially with the awesome magic parkour, I think everyone wants to go where they're not supposed to. Realistically, outside of that urge, I never had an issue with not being able to go where I wanted. While you might be locked out of chunks of the map until you progress in the main story, you never have a lack of things to explore. The map progression is related to the story progression in an understandable way and i think people that are upset about this are being far too picky.

    I've nearly 100% this game and would recommend it to anyone who likes this genre of game. I think my biggest complaint is that I wish the story was longer. I just wish I could play more.

    Warning! I highly recommend not trying to pick up every treasure chest. If you hit your inventory Max, you will be unable to pick up the chest. Most chest items are also crafting ingredients you can find in the over world. There is also an ungodly amount of chests in the game. After picking up 100% of the chests for the first 25% of the game I started to feel burnt out and was very upset when I found I couldn't pick up the next chest I found.    … Expand

    В этой игре нет ничего советского. Это какая-то похабщина. Главный герой матерится как сапожник и руинит советскую атмосферу. А еще много дешевого фансервиса. В общем игра не оправдала ожиданий.

    There's something here to get stuck into for fans of open world adventures, and Forspoken isn't without its charms, but like Frey herself, it's often its own worst enemy.

    After about the first 4 hours, the gave finally comes into its own, and for the next 26 I had done it the best times of my life playing this. Unfortunately some things in the first 4 hours really are unbearable.
    However, overall, I do recommend this game

But I can't comprehend on how a game that shows " glimpse at the potentially genre-defying" or a game that "is on the precipice of something great" is rated 7 or worse. I think this is exactly what an 8 out of 10 needs to have. A game that is really close to greatness but somehow miss it. And this is Forspoken in a nutshell. Is really mindblowing that weThe reviews are kinda on point. Is really mindblowing that we can't see that potential actually blown out in a sequel. Because let's be real, all the negatives of Forspoken are nothing major. Are nothing that a sequel is gonna bring with it. I think this is gonna be remembered as possibly one of the most under rated game of all time, feels this is the God Hand of this generation. Also, I think is the best combat system in this year. And we are talking the same year that a Team Ninja game and FFXVI got released.… Expand

    Uno de los mejores juegos de la nueva generación, vertiginoso, fluido,novedoso en cuanto a jugabilidad ( el parkour y la combinación de hechizos ) son brillantes,la historia es muy entretenida y el mundo es espectacular,gran variedad de enemigos y una batalla final bastante épica, los únicos apartados negativos son que a nivel narrativo se hace algo lento la forma de avanzar ( me recuerdanUno de los mejores juegos de la nueva generación, vertiginoso, fluido,novedoso en cuanto a jugabilidad ( el parkour y la combinación de hechizos ) son brillantes,la historia es muy entretenida y el mundo es espectacular,gran variedad de enemigos y una batalla final bastante épica, los únicos apartados negativos son que a nivel narrativo se hace algo lento la forma de avanzar ( me recuerdan a los juegos de 2005 la manera de avanzar en la historia, ) y que las misiones fueran más variadas,por lo demás un diez en todo.… Expand

    I don't know what they are doing Those who give a bad rating to the game Because I got platinum with it I give it an excellent rating for an excellent game and story Maybe the graphics are not that strong but Buy it, enjoy it, and don't worry about the foolishness, it's really cool

    This is by far one of my all-time favourite games. The traversal and combat is beautiful, the music gave me chills and the emotional storyline had me in tears by the end of it. I honestly and truly cannot think of a single flaw in this game.

    What exactly is missing in the forspoken, which the elders of this genere have ? Go check final fantasy, final fantasy 7 remake was a mess, with that homosexual task and town. Pardon me, but I'm so angry about these propagandas.
    I swear, not because I've paid 64 bucks for, or because I like it, I'm a 36 years old gamer and have my experiences, forspoken is a good game, with a great potential story . I haven't mentioned it's walk-through and graphics and world, because even worst reviews about forspoken have admitted its graphics and Ambient and inviroment are wonderful, their only problem is the short story and the missions of the game and the characters, which is not acceptable at all with the positive points of the game and the fact that it is the first work of a game studio.    … Expand

    Forspoken has plenty of other glaring issues like its occasionally janky platforming that results in Frey falling off buildings or its less than memorable soundtrack. It also has a number of additional points to praise like the scale of its cities and the cast of cute cat chimeras that Frey can lay down and cuddle with. This duality of fantastic ideas with less-than-stellar execution places Forspoken in a place where very few games end up — smack dab in the middle. It’s not so bad that it should be burned by fire, but not nearly good enough to make anyone’s game of the year list.

    Forspoken feels like an interesting blend of gameplay elements from Square Enix projects past and present, but we're not certain it all comes together. A middling story and combat make its fun parkour harder to bear.

    World exploration in Forspoken can bring you some real joy, and same could be said about the combat system. And yet the writing, weird visual presentation, and overall direction can really bring the whole experience down.
