Figment 2: Creed Valley is a very fun game with an interesting message. Despite some limitations that hold it back from being a more impressive game, it is a good example of a simple indie title whose personality takes it to a good level.

Very nice indie adventure with an exciting approach - but the gameplay is lukewarm and the story doesn't really get going either.

When leaning into its strengths as a mind-bending musical puzzler, Bedtime Digital’s sequel proves there’s still plenty of joy to be squeezed from Figment’s storybook charm and psychedelic conceit, particularly if you’ve got a friend to join you for local co-op. Just prepare to have its many earworms stuck wriggling in your own lugholes long after. [Issue#27, p.82]

With a wide selection of puzzles to solve and a fantastic art style to enjoy, there’s a lot to like about Figment 2: Creed Valley. Whether or not you’ve played the first, this is a worthwhile, albeit short, jaunt for anyone who enjoys puzzle-solving and adventuring. It’s just a shame we’ve encountered a few bugs while playing. Maybe hold off jumping in for a week or two until they’re (hopefully) fixed.
