    Random bouncy balls are back. Defenders get repelled whenever someone performs a rainbow flick. You can be winning 3-0 comfortably but then the AI screws up for you. None of the passes land to feet. Clearances barely clear the penalty box. EA Sports - It’s in the game more like EA Sports - **** in the game

    By far the worse FIFA i've ever played and i'm so fed up. Pace of gameplay is totally fine but other than that its a poop show. Stats do not matter- every goal keeper i've been up against averages 15-20 shot blocks per game. Very unrealistic as the record right now for most blocked shots in a game is 16 but yet in FIFA its a normal thing.     Worse fifa in the last 15 years….. I wish I can get a refund for my money because all what I got was the new trades between clubs!

    Think all players agree its more obvious than ever that RNG determines who wins.

    Keepers will let in or save goals at random and not on the difficulty to save. I got lucky with packs and have a few million coins and I can safely say affordable prem players will probably win you more games.

    The goalkeepers will decide who wins and outfield players will have little to no influence on the game.

    Full script, especially in squad battles where a ST placed in goal is better than Neuer, and my GK is super retarded.

It's ludicrous. Somehow 80% of my passes go straight to opponents, and every time you take the ball from the other team, it flies directly back towards the opponent over and over and over again until they can score. What a trash online system. This is the last "fifa" I buy, it's a complete scam of a game.… Expand

    If I had written this in September/October then I would genuinely rate it quite highly. However after pointless updates and changes to gameplay EA have once again pondered to the streamers and made a complete sweat fest fifa.     Anything, from offline to Ultimate Team and Pro Clubs is made to be completely random, controlled by the omnipotent AI which decides your fate as a player, in many circumstances, and this is what so many people refer to as "scripting".

    This could not be further from a real game of football, if we except the graphic value of the game, the only reason for which I give a point to it. You would think playing with friends against other people on the Pro Clubs mode would minimise the influence of the AI. But it still finds a way to destroy your/your opponent's game somehow. Sometimes through a full match, sometimes for just a period of time. Through balls in the air are overpowered, AIs completely unbalanced between one team and the other, and the "momentum" shifts completely without any warning, after scoring a goal or two.

    In a good game, controls are meant to be accessible and hard to master, making the gameplay rich and a strong player should most of the time beat an average player, or a bad player. In FIFA, this goes to the bin. The dumber you are, the more likely you are to win games and have the game help you at that. Of course, there is a threshold, and people who triumph in worldwide competitions most likely understood the broken mechanic of the game, and use it to their advantage, but this only proves my point which is that the game is not fun, and those players don't play it for fun anymore.

    There is input lag, again, from time to time, on certain plays, which you can do without any issues in other circumstances, but all of a sudden your player takes an extra touch, or slows down his movement, without being tired. Even so, other tired players (often AI players) find a second wind out of nowhere despite their stamina meter clearly showing they're tired.

    I used to think scripting was a myth in FIFA, because the game was much more balanced, and fun to play. This hasn't been the case for years now. I believe most people would forgive EA even with their marketing campaign, promoting features that already existed in old games of the franchise, before disappearing and being used as newly introduced content to make sure people tune in. That gameplay is unbalanced, biased, chaotic, random, sometimes hand in hand with luck.

    What is worse, is that it has spread in the mind of the dumbest, sweatiest players that you only complain because you're not good at the game. I can hold my hands up high and say without a shadow of shame that I'm not good at this game anymore, because this game sucks. But I don't know if what worries me more is the fact no competitor is offering anything decent to fight EA's monopoly, or the fact so many people seem to believe this is actually a good game.    … Expand

    Another awful game added to the Fifa franchise. Gameplay is subpar and the AI is atrocious, teammates literally stand there watching balls go by them, the AI is so bad it genuinely feels like that part of the game is still in beta testing. EA sports continues to put out garbage even on the new systems, what a shocker!

    EA sports are also incapable of making a good AI in the harder difficulties. On world class, legendary, and ultimate mode, all EA does is adjust gameplay sliders against you rather than making the AI actually play good football. Offline modes are AIDS because of that.

    Online modes there's less gameplay slider manipulation however EA is too poor with their multi-billion dollar revenue every year to invest in more servers. Thus, you can be from North America and play someone from Germany and have severe delay between your controller input and what happens in game.    … Expand

    Ok, there is suqad battles mode where u play against computer. Even here they made scripts when the game doesn't let u win. It was one mode where i can play and enjoy.

    I guess developers of this not-a-game are people who have some mental problems.
    Last FIFA i have bought. If u like pain and hate this game for you!

    I hope in near future there will be somebody who can compete to EA with Fifa. I don't understand why they dont make one game with constant patches of rosters each year and have to make every year new Fifa. These games are all the same. Same trash. Funny how they every year ask for 60€ haha.

    Hi! I’m new to fifa. I loved this game! Especially Volta! Volta arcade is very fun and dynamic! But the game mode is available only online. However, the mode has bots! So it looks like a mobile game now except you pay upfront to download it and then you’re free to make donates to play it. I also love character customization.     The most scripted bs game you could buy. No point wasting your money on it, not about skill or anything, might as well be watching an actual football match because you have about the same amount of influence on that as you do a fifa game.

    It's impossible to score realistic goals it's mostly based on luck.

    Hypermotion didn't help the game at all, it is even worse than previous years. Scripting and handicap are stronger than ever. EA keep investing in personalizations and cosmetics and forget to put some effort to make the game better (or at least playable).     Wow, very dissapointed with this game. After many years I wanted to try a FIFA again. But this game is broken! My whole save game somehow dissapeared. Hours of investing into my team in career mode just gone. This never happened to me in older FIFAs.
    Also simple stuff like that the shirts of the teams dont have the same color seem an issue now. Sometimes you have to restart a game because    Wow, very dissapointed with this game.     And then there are the gameplay issues - defending is a joke in this game. You have almost no control over your defenders, it seems complete luck if you can stop your opponent.
    Your strikers either score 4 goals a game or they miss every 100 % chance in a game.

    This game is horrible. The AI for my pro club team is always making horrible plays. Also, too often the enemy team seems to get away with far too many penalties and shots that look like it is going in always seem to miss. Just absolutely horrible gameplay in general. Only reason I keep playing is because of my friends.

    FIFA 22 shows its wasted potential every step of the way. When everything works as it should, it’s the best FIFA in years. The problem is that while sometimes the new HyperMotion technology works great and really makes a noticeable difference, the game often picks wrong animations from its mind-boggling array of 8 million. Let’s hope EA Sports builds on these promising foundations, fixes what needs to be fixed and delivers a truly great experience next year. [12/2021, p.36]

    FIFA 22 has improved the feel and smoothness of actions, but there are almost no changes in the game mode and gameplay. The reduction of stand-alone content makes it not very suitable as the first FIFA entry for newcomers.

    FIFA 22 looks amazing on next-gen hardware which was to be expected. What was not to be expected is the brilliant gameplay. It still isn’t a full-blown simulation, of course, but it’s way more tactical and fun than before, including the (in)famous Ultimate Team. The only thing that truly suffers is the neglected Career Mode.
