    The game looks good but EA sports and their stupid decision making of keeping their game animation based rather than physics-based continues to make these game unbearable. All events in this game are based off of statistics calculations between player stats, then an animation is chosen to match the outcome. All events in this game are based off of statistics calculations between player stats, then an animation is chosen to match the outcome. This leads to ridiculous BS "fifa" goals.

    EA sports are also incapable of making a good AI in the harder difficulties. On world class, legendary, and ultimate mode, all EA does is adjust gameplay sliders against you rather than making the AI actually play good football. Offline modes are AIDS because of that.

    Online modes there's less gameplay slider manipulation however EA is too poor with their multi-billion dollar revenue every year to invest in more servers. Thus, you can be from North America and play someone from Germany and have severe delay between your controller input and what happens in game.    … Expand

    Game full of scripting. Like it is pathetic even a child can predict what's going to happen next.If I had one wish in my life, I hope all the people in EA and their family go bankrupt and beg on the streets

    I hope in near future there will be somebody who can compete to EA with Fifa. I don't understand why they dont make one game with constant patches of rosters each year and have to make every year new Fifa. These games are all the same. Same trash. Funny how they every year ask for 60€ haha.

    Haven't played Fifa since 2020, the game was free for PS+ this month, so I figured I'd try it out. For the first 2, 3 hours I honestly liked it, controls felt good, passing wasn't perfect but was better than before. But the more I played the worse it got. In order to nerf quick counter attacks they made the camera move so ridiculously slowly that it can take a full second between yourHaven't played Fifa since 2020, the game was free for PS+ this month, so I figured I'd try it out. For the first 2, 3 hours I honestly liked it, controls felt good, passing wasn't perfect but was better than before. But the more I played the worse it got. In order to nerf quick counter attacks they made the camera move so ridiculously slowly that it can take a full second between your player receiving the ball and the camera panning to the player with the ball. I stopped playing after that point. Sure, maybe there's some camera setting that will solve this problem, but the fact that this is a problem with the default camera settings shows just how little thought went into development of the game.

    But the most hilarious bug I've had is with the scripting. You can argue that FIFA doesn't script matches all you want, but in my first CL game of the season vs Inter Milan (so first CL game for both teams), I was up 1-0, and somehow on the upper left of the screen it said Lautaro Martinez scored 1 goal in 1 CL game (even though as the score line suggests, Inter haven't scored yet), and sure enough in the second half Inter scored an insane Fifa goal where all my defenders avoided Inter's players like the plague allowing Lautaro to score a goal for Inter.    … Expand

    Hi! I’m new to fifa. I loved this game! Especially Volta! Volta arcade is very fun and dynamic! But the game mode is available only online. However, the mode has bots! So it looks like a mobile game now except you pay upfront to download it and then you’re free to make donates to play it. I also love character customization.     Worst fifa game I've ever played, gameplay **** And match ratings is either bugged or stupid. It's impossible to get an 8.0 rating for your players.
    It's impossible to score realistic goals it's mostly based on luck.

    Hypermotion didn't help the game at all, it is even worse than previous years. Scripting and handicap are stronger than ever. EA keep investing in personalizations and cosmetics and forget to put some effort to make the game better (or at least playable).     Literally only made an account to tell you all how terrible this game is. This is a franchise with so much potential yet they improve ZERO things every single year.     Worst FIFA game till date, I have played FIFA since 98. It seems that with PES wout of equation, they think they have the monopoly and they can throw anything and customers will buy it.

Shots from any angle, my god, if you are winning at 88+ mins, every AI player just becomes Messi and Ronaldo, they will dribble like hell, run and shoot from way out, from any angle and score, the game's a draw now, and if there's enough time, they might even nick it. Just begs the question,, why so much scripting so much so that playing is no fun anymore. I am not buying 23, and wait to buy 24 if that is any good. if not bye bye fifa.    … Expand

    Wow, very dissapointed with this game. After many years I wanted to try a FIFA again. But this game is broken! My whole save game somehow dissapeared. Hours of investing into my team in career mode just gone. This never happened to me in older FIFAs.
    Also simple stuff like that the shirts of the teams dont have the same color seem an issue now. Sometimes you have to restart a game because    Wow, very dissapointed with this game.     And then there are the gameplay issues - defending is a joke in this game. You have almost no control over your defenders, it seems complete luck if you can stop your opponent.
    Your strikers either score 4 goals a game or they miss every 100 % chance in a game.

    This game is horrible. The AI for my pro club team is always making horrible plays. Also, too often the enemy team seems to get away with far too many penalties and shots that look like it is going in always seem to miss. Just absolutely horrible gameplay in general. Only reason I keep playing is because of my friends.

I've personally played FIFA since the first ever release and Ultimate Team is the worst thing to happen to football games in gaming history. It's gambling and so obviously pay to win. Matches are so unbalanced it's untrue, you can use the same really good squad with the same tactics and play the same way you always do and although there is a chance to have a nice even match it's very very rare. Loosing 7 - 1 to a team with lower rating with much lower chemistry and inferior players is bad enough, but when you combine that with the fact that the slowest centre halfs become Usain Bolt, the midfielders rated at 76 can dictate a match better than prime Zidane, Strikers become possessed by Lionel Messi, on top of that your team suddenly looks like they'd struggle in the Vanarama North. You don't change the way you play, which can only mean the game does and just decides it's going to win this one and players look like they're ice skating past you. We live in hope that one day there will be a new kid on the block that brings us a good football sim. Unfortunately in order to play football games we are stuck with this car crash. And let's not mention the other football game that killed it's reputation with it's latest release either.… Expand

    Frustration made into a video game. FIFA 22 is the most frustrating and random experience ever. Yes, FIFA has had its ups and downs over the years, it's true, but FIFA 22 turns the saga into a succession of ball bounces, bugs and toxicity.

    Kleine Verbesserungen im Gameplay, sonst wenig neues. Grafik ist okay aber noch nicht auf "Next Gen"-Niveau. Besonders ärgerlich für mich: ein Dreiviertel Jahr nach Veröffentlichung bestehen noch massive Bugs im Karriere-Modus (Saisonziele). Außerdem gibt es immer noch keine Online-Lobby für Multiplayer mit mehr als 2 Personen.

    Le problème de ce jeu c'est qu'il veut TOUT faire sans y parvenir, c'est donc terriblement frustrant.

    On devrait acheter ce jeu selon ce qu'on veut en faire, c'est à dire par module. Tel joueur veut le mode FUT, il le prend, un autre le mode carrière, il ne prend que ce dont il a besoin. I refused to give EA money anymore for sports games but since it was free I thought I'd try it. My god what a waste of memory. I will likely delete it soon. The gameplay is atrocious and feels terrible. I'm so glad that Fifa have taken away the license from you EA and I hope other game companies show you how its done because you obviously have no idea.     a truly horrible and frustrating game...I've played FIFA since 06 and I've just had to stop at 19. I don't understand what possessed them to drastically change the gameplay. Defending is worse...just forget about it in this game because the ball can be passed to a winger and your fullback will not do anything even if you are using the sprint.     FIFA 22 shows its wasted potential every step of the way. When everything works as it should, it’s the best FIFA in years. The problem is that while sometimes the new HyperMotion technology works great and really makes a noticeable difference, the game often picks wrong animations from its mind-boggling array of 8 million. Let’s hope EA Sports builds on these promising foundations, fixes what needs to be fixed and delivers a truly great experience next year. [12/2021, p.36]

    FIFA 22 has improved the feel and smoothness of actions, but there are almost no changes in the game mode and gameplay. The reduction of stand-alone content makes it not very suitable as the first FIFA entry for newcomers.

    FIFA 22 looks amazing on next-gen hardware which was to be expected. What was not to be expected is the brilliant gameplay. It still isn’t a full-blown simulation, of course, but it’s way more tactical and fun than before, including the (in)famous Ultimate Team. The only thing that truly suffers is the neglected Career Mode.
