Then you have the jobless mouth breathers who cannot afford new games and just copy/paste the same trashy, shallow two sentences because there’s some gay people somewhere in the game. The people who cry about every little thing being “WOKE” are sexually confused, self-hating snowflakes. Sorry, it’s not our fault you’ve got issues from what your daddy did to you. Get a therapist instead of having a meltdown over Disney movies and video games.

    As for the game itself, this is one of three FC games since the original that actually has a soul, FC3 and 5 being the others (by the way, it’s absolutely HILARIOUS how the cretins I described above now apparently LOVE FC5 when it was at first considered “anti-American” LOL). There are some design choices and story elements that I would have definitely changed, as well as some boring side activity/questing options, but there is a decent feel of authenticity here although it’s drowned out at times. Another thing that annoys me is how the game suffers from the same thing that has plagued basically all forms of multimedia nowadays - an obsession with mistaking “let’s kill everyone around protagonist, including other main characters, and surround them with constant brutality” as “seriousness”. Sorry, but that isn’t how it works. Instead it gets to a point where there’s no reason to even a reason to develop any emotional attachment or give an F about really anything with how all these movies, shows, games, etc. that think they’re being clever or “real”. This is, I think, why the game - again, like many others - tries for moments of levity and comedy in-between, but a lot of times these come off as awkward or forced.

    As for the rest, the gun play is good, graphics are great, there are no “bugs” - which is another vague code word used when these sad losers try really hard to make their “0” score of something they’ve never experienced, look like a real review.

    Overall, not the greatest FC, but definitely not the worst (FC1 on console and FC Primal). It’s a solid 7.5 or so, maybe a 6 or 8 depending on how burned out you are on these “open world” action games. Of course I have to give it a 10 on this site because of the aforementioned sad trash bombing its score.

    Definitely worth grabbing now as it’s super cheap on every console and *just* (literally today) became free on PS Plus.    … Expand

    This game is an 8 out of 10 at least. I am giving it a 10 to balance the negative reviews. It is Far Cry. If you liked Far Cry 3,4,5, you’ll like this one.

    I’ve played every Far Cry game including this one. New Dawn was my favorite. This game has been absolutely fantastic in many respects. The graphics are fantastic on the PlayStation 5. I often find myself just pausing to take snapshots. The story, although very similar to most other FarCry games, was enough to keep me interested and moving from mission to mission. I focused primarily on theI’ve played every Far Cry game including this one. New Dawn was my favorite. This game has been absolutely fantastic in many respects. I focused primarily on the main story, but took on side missions as I happened to pass by them. There’s a nice sense of progress as you rank up and also as you obtain new Amigos and upgrade their abilities. The choice to return to third person for cutscenes feels better than the first person only scenes of some of the past games. I found myself excited to come home from work every day and play for many hours. I’ve played many, many games this year and I would consider this to be in the running for Game of the Year. I will continue enjoying this game for many more hours until the next FarCry game.… Expand

    Ok, I'm giving this game a 10. It is one of the best Far Cry I've played since the third installment.
    I don't understand users' low scores, and I don't think it's justified. I've played 80 hours and I'd say, I've opened only 55% of the map and I still have that urge of continuing the game. It is that good.

    1 - The graphics. They are great, detailed, crisp and the game plays at 60 fps which is a big game-changer.

    2 - Gameplay. Much better than the previous games. There are hundreds of missions to do and they are all fun. Yes, we have to slowly take over the map but the missions are varied and they are fun to play.

    3 - Story: I haven't beaten the game yet, however, the story up until now is entertaining and the villain is well played by a famous actor. I like the story and it is keeping me engaged.

    4 - The map is huge. I'd say it's one of the larger maps ever in a Far Cry game and there are several ways to navigate the map. Won't spoil them for you. There are dozens of unlockables and vehicles to discover. Dozens of weapons as well (more than any previous Far Cry game)

    Conclusion: This is a great Far Cry game and I want to encourage the developer by giving them a score of 10. They deserve it. They polished the game, put a lot of effort to diversify the missions, and kudos for that.    … Expand

Would have given the game a solid 9/10, but have to give a 10 to make up for the absurd user score. If you enjoyed the past entries in the series, do not hesitate to get this game.

    8/10 but with the missing Italian dialogues this one is a 10/10. Can't speak Italian so it's great I don't have to deal with that.

    This is a FAR CRY game 100%!!! Freakin love it everyone! I am 20 hrs in and taking my time and Ubisoft made the best Far Cry to date. The weapons, the stories, the carnage, the plans of attacks that are brutal when executed right.....and the graphics.....WOW!!! On the PS5 this was exactly what i wanted. I have no idea what people where expecting...and Far Cry game like Zelda....HAHAHA. IfThis is a FAR CRY game 100%!!! Freakin love it everyone!     Far cry 6 is a great game. I've played FC3, 4, 5 and 6. Far cry 3 is unique, Far cry 4 is FC3 with some upgrades and in the tibet. Far cry 5 for me os the worst, not a great map and non-sense history. But FC6 I think its the best. Yes, is more of the same, but its a great FC. The map os good, on PS4 the graphics are beautiful, the game runs Very clean, better than FC4 and FC5. The game isFar cry 6 is a great game. I've played FC3, 4, 5 and 6.     Is this game a 10? No. But, there are so many idiots giving it a 0. It's not great, but it's solid. The ones giving it a low score probably didn't even touch the game. They just like to piss on anything they can. Solid game, decent story, keeping me interested. Ignore the douches giving 0 reviews.

It's not a perfect 10, but a lot of people gives 0, with really bad explanation for the score, so I have to counter. Somebody wrote that it was impossible to sneak around, and assassinate whole camps. It's not.     I see people rate 0 on this game for not having Italian language and some saying it's the same far cry over and over again.

    Learn English ffs and what did you expect when you bought the game? That it would be a souls game? Of course it's more far cry. What a joke some people are!

This game is a fun open world forst person shooting like most past far cry games. I even think story is better. If you want more of that, then go for this game and youll have a good time. The world looks beautiful too.

    Game is awesome, innovative and is FILLED TO THE BRIM with unique and fun content. It’s worth the Gold Edition, to enjoy TONS of content! These fanboys are review bombing it for no reason. And honestly, it deserves to be in the high 80’s and perhaps 90’s!! The critics say it’s “not innovative enough” (i.e same old Far Cry) but the players say it doesn’t feel like Far Cry!!! So which isGame is awesome, innovative and is FILLED TO THE BRIM with unique and fun content. It’s worth the Gold Edition, to enjoy TONS of content! These fanboys are review bombing it for no reason.     Its already looking great, i love it, it’s still a far cry but oh damn it’s a good one, In the first minute of gameplay I was hooked, the animation are good, the story and vilain are awesome, fidelity fx makes the game playable on my Rx 580 at 70 fps ! !

    Es una pena ver este review bombing por parte de la comunidad italiana que no sabe leer un subtítulo. El juego es el mejor FC que jugué de todos. Historias, jugabilidad y gráficos hermosos. 100% recomendado. ¡Kudos por Ubisoft!

    This is a perfect Far Cry game for me. A mix of 2,3 and New Dawn. It has it all. Pretty usual FC, so looking for anything other, just search elsewhere.

L’histoire est cool, Dani est très sympathique et les missions annexes sont intéressantes (les chasses au tresor bien plus funs) je ne comprends pas comment on pzut mak noter ce jeu en ayant aimé Far Cry 5…

    It's been very fun to play this game so far for over 20 hours. I think it could be the one of best Far Cry franchise. Amazing graphics, massive open world and Chorizo.

    Best of all so far without a shadow of a doubt.
    Great gameplay, good variation of objectives, I liked the addition of new vehicles, helicopters and tanks, the backpacks. Amazing game!

    Far Cry 6 smooths over a lot of the bumps that have cropped up in the past few games and even though it misses some steps, especially with its new inventory system, it's the best the series has been in years.

    Ubisoft's signature franchises continue to deliver on what the fans have come to expect and Far Cry 6 is no exception. A sprawling sandbox with tons to do and perfect escapism for a few hours… a few tens of hours. Fans of the series or Ubisoft's style, in general, will want to pick this one up, those who haven't ever clicked with them will find nothing new here to change their mind, with only a few changes that just do not push the boat out or move away from the formulaic. Most exciting though, is the upcoming DLC: a season pass that promises to give players a whole different experience. Stepping into the shoes of the villains of the previous games, starting with Vaas.     The new episode of the Far Cry series really tries a lot to find new ways how to enjoy the game, and at the same time it relies on the unattainable depth that the charismatic Giancarlo Esposito was supposed to give to the game. Instead, players again receive a disparate mishmash that is increasingly moving away from both the original Far Cry idea and the Just Cause sandbox.

    If I’m being honest, my frustrations with the marketing’s focus on the worst caricatures of Latinx people made me brace myself for a racist triple-A experience full of gross clichés and awkward attempts to be apolitical. Instead, I was surprised to find that more thought than I expected was put into its depiction of Latinx people. Although it isn’t perfect — those cringeworthy lines! The grind of finding gear! — it’s better than what I initially expected, and that counts for something.
