Jun 20, 2025The basic modes have been improved and Breaking Point and F1 The Movie show that Formula 1 is possibly the sport that makes the most of different types of media. Whether you're a casual or hardcore fan, playing alone or with others, F1 25 is sure to please fans of the world's biggest racing series.
-
Jun 14, 2025The newest F1 entry from Codemasters delivers a much-needed improvement for the series. Its presentation is excellent, the handling feels impressively realistic, and AI opponents react believably. Most notably, the career mode is the best in the franchise, with the potential to keep you hooked for hours.
-
Jun 5, 2025F1 25 cements Codemasters as the absolute reference for ensuring the existence of the official Formula 1 game, offering a technical, immersive and accessible experience like few others in the genre. The game not only refines the already established foundations of the franchise, but also dares to incorporate innovations that increase realism and player engagement.
-
May 30, 2025The good news: Compared to previous years, Codemasters is once again bringing a breath of fresh air to its annual racing game series. The changes to the career options, the next instalment of Braking Point, the integration of the "F1" movie, and the many small technical improvements all fit the latest instalment very well. The gameplay remains top-notch and, in many respects, even feels a bit more mature than before.
-
May 27, 2025EA sports F1 25 features the usual iterative improvements when it comes to visuals and physics, and LIDAR technology has been used to make a number of tracks as accurate as can be. But it's the return of Braking Point as well as a substantial overhaul of My Team that really makes this an impressive package, and a must-have for both casual and ardent F1 fans.
-
May 27, 2025Compared to the previous game in the franchise, EA SPORTS F1 25 takes few risks in terms of the driving itself because it knows it has already reached a level of excellence and stability. With some substantial changes to two of its main game modes and subtle improvements to the visuals, it is the most faithful and fun for fans of the category, valuing the most ardent followers without giving up on new enthusiasts.
-
Jul 7, 2025F1 25 is probably the best edition of F1 to date. It features rich and revamped My Team mode with remarkable depth, as well as the much loved continuation of the Breaking Point story mode that often reaches movie-like quality. It still suffers from occasional handling issues and live-service features that might ruin the experience in some modes, but it is rich with content and its presentation is remarkable.
-
Jun 11, 2025EA Sports F1 25 is much better than last year's installment, and Codemasters addressed key points to ensure its fans weren't disappointed. Braking Point 3 and My Team 2.0 are high-quality offerings that warrant recommending the game to fans of the competition and those looking to immerse themselves in its world. The handling improvements, despite their rough edges that will surely be addressed in future updates, are a decent sim cadence, as is the audio-visual section. Despite the less than favorable environment, this is a good F1 installment, and it will undoubtedly hold its own throughout the season.
-
May 27, 2025At its core, EA Sports F1 25 fully accomplishes the task of guiding you through the world of F1, whether you start from scratch through Braking Point or participate in the driver championship. In terms of gameplay mechanics, it remains efficient and provides the necessary tools to make newcomers feel welcome. The graphics are just adequate, not something extraordinary.
-
Jul 9, 2025F1 25 is an exceptional driving game and one that further cements developer Codemasters’ place as one of the finest racing developers currently working. It was a pleasure to go through the excellent story mode, and I spent many hours obsessing over the expansive MyTeam mode. While it may not feel like an evolutionary change from F1 24, there’s more than enough here to keep racing fans happy for the season.
-
Jun 4, 2025F1 25 makes several new steps forward. For example, you can drive tracks backwards and the application of LIDAR to scanning certain tracks makes for an even better experience. Graphically, the game also takes a step forward and Braking Point is back. In short, plenty of reason to recommend the game, although there are certainly areas for improvement.
-
Jun 2, 2025F1 25 is the best the series has ever been, catering to fans of the drama as well as those that appreciate the intricacies of the science behind the driving.
-
May 27, 2025If F1 25 stands out in anything, it is in terms of content, where the return of Braking Point adds the deepest career mode in the series, with a commendable level of depth in terms of management and control that ensures dozens of hours throughout the season.
-
Jun 20, 2025F1 25 is a worthy evolution that once again pushes the virtual Formula 1 experience forward. It strikes a fine balance between accessibility for newcomers and depth for veteran fans, offering an authentic sense of racing and team management. The driving model is more advanced, the My Team mode more robust, and the race atmosphere superb. While there are no major weaknesses, the lack of significant technical leaps, only slightly improved visuals, and lingering minor AI and presentation quirks make this a "better" rather than a "revolutionary" entry. Still, it firmly remains one of the best racing games on the market.
-
Jun 12, 2025F1 25 is a fine racing game, worthy of the queen class of motorsports. But as you often see with sports games, not that much changes from year to year. So do you already have a version from, say, 2024 or 2023? Unless you really care about being able to race against newcomers like Kimi Antonelli, or necessarily want to see Lewis Hamilton shine for his new patron Ferrari, feel free to skip this one. Next year, quite a few rules of play are changing in Formula One, and hopefully it will also inspire Codemasters to innovate a bit more. Because just as an F1 team must constantly innovate to keep up, standing still here equals going backwards.
-
Jun 10, 2025With a new annual edition of the renowned F1, the Codemasters team puts the focus where it needs to be to improve the experience and maintain quality, while inviting new players with user-friendly content.
-
Jun 8, 2025F1 25 is once again an excellent driving game, but at the same time provides very modest evolution from previous installments. Braking Point storymode is fun but short lived appetite like always. My Team, Career Mode and F1 World can offer nearly endless hours worth of content for hardcore F1 enthusiasts, if their stomachs aren't already full from previous years.
-
Jun 4, 2025While F1 25 doesn't represent a revolution within the franchise, it does consolidate and refine key elements, ensuring that fans of the series enjoy a more polished and immersive experience.
-
Jun 4, 2025Anyone who has played any modern edition of Codemasters' F1 game already knows what to expect if they decide to play this title. However, this year's addition of the Breakpoint 3 campaign and new team management options in Career mode makes this year's game more engaging than the last.
-
Jun 1, 2025As is often the case with the F1 license stamped by EA and Codemasters, the installments follow one another but are not really similar in content. Because this year, Breaking Point is back and the next F1 film are highlighted to revive the story-driven interest of the saga. Good one-off contributions, even if for the long term, we will rather remember the Career mode which goes a little further than previous years. Even if it does not really renew its gameplay and its graphics, F1 25 remains solid for an official simulation and accessible for neophytes.
-
May 30, 2025F1 25 continues its annual evolution with a successful episode in many respects. The question is how Codemasters is going to take its license to the next level.
-
May 30, 2025F1 25 is the best F1 sim to date, though it feels more like refinement than revolution. The improved handling and fun extras are welcome, but for €79.99, a bit more innovation would've been nice. Still, a solid upgrade for dedicated fans.
-
May 30, 2025EA Sports F1 25 brings quite a few improvements to the franchise along with an overhaul of the My Team mode. There are still some problems to be found, but in general it's the best F1 game we've had in a long time.
-
May 29, 2025Codemasters gets it right with the handling in F1 25, allowing for challenging physics no matter the assist options or the controller. Using a racing wheel with no assists brings one of the more realistic interpretations of the sport the series has ever seen. Every bit of this is fixed over last year's outing. It's addictive and challenging while allowing those with a greater skill to showcase how much faster they can be than those with less skill. Outside of this, the experience is familiar. Having LIDAR circuits and reverse circuits are good additions, but there just aren't many that take advantage. Braking Point 3 offers a darker story for those that are looking for a story mode in an F1 game. My Team 2.0 adding more depth is a welcome addition for those that understand the managerial portion of the sport. Most importantly, for those who are simply wanting to race, F1 25 offers an excellent experience.
-
May 28, 2025With a real-life rule-change next year due to change the cars radically, Formula One currently feels like it’s at a generational peak, and F1 25 is so brilliantly crafted and full of elements that generate an irresistible mix of nailed-on realism and fantasy that it, too, feels like the culmination of a generation of officially licensed Formula One games. F1 25? Peak F1.
-
May 28, 2025Codemasters delivers with F1 25 a good racing game for fans and beginners. With Braking Point 3, the revised MyTeam mode and a lot more, there is plenty of content for multiple hours of fun.
-
May 27, 2025F1 25 does not set the fastest lap in the saga, but it does bring substantial improvements in terms of driving compared to F1 24 and bothers to add interesting and well polished content such as Braking Point 3 or the management additions of My Team.
-
May 27, 2025F1 25 offers a very complete package this year. The new features are all focused on the sport itself, and Braking Point is once again exceptionally entertaining. Codemasters hasn’t changed a great deal compared to last season, but every tweak hits the mark. It’s a shame that PSVR2 owners are still being left out. With the major 2026 changes on the horizon, F1 25 is an excellent way to say goodbye to the current generation of cars.
-
May 27, 2025The 2025 edition of EA Sports F1 is packed with content aimed at the casual player, such as the return of Braking Mode, as well as other modes that engage players outside the competitive scene.
-
May 27, 2025An experience which promises much and delivers on some, F1 25 is without doubt a worthy entry but the feeling is its innovations could be greater.
-
May 27, 2025This new installment has some graphical and gameplay improvements compared to 2025, but the most important aspect is the implementation of Braking Point 3, the third part of the story mode, which has a decent plot, although nothing special. Its gameplay remains consistent, but that's not a bad thing since we're talking about a work developed by Codemasters, and few know how to make better racing games than they do.
-
May 27, 2025F1 25 is a bet for modernizing and enriching a formula that, although effective, needed a change. Its renewed My Team mode, the always interesting narrative of Braking Point 3, the technical improvements in driving and representation of the circuits, and the demanded advanced customization make it an essential release for fans.
-
May 27, 2025The new EA Sports F1 25 will not revolutionize neither the genre nor the saga, being as continuous as it is, but it has polished certain aspects (others not) and added interesting options to team management and multiplayer. LiDAR technology really is quite impressive.
-
May 27, 2025Like most racing games, F1 25 suffers from a lack of repeatable things to do. An exceptional handling model, new Braking Point chapters, and a robust My Team section are enough to level out the apparent lack of additional content.
-
May 27, 2025F1 25 is a clear improvement over last year’s entry, with improved handling, the returning Braking Point story mode and more all coming together to create an excellent F1 racing experience.
-
Apr 8, 2026F1 25 is a polished, confident, and highly enjoyable Formula 1 game. It doesn’t reinvent the franchise, but it refines it where it counts—especially in driving feel and presentation—while expanding its appeal through story modes and F1 World.
-
May 30, 2025F1 25 is everything a Formula 1 fan could want. For the 2025 season, Codemasters' attention has focused on the return of Braking Point 3. The graphics and sound compartment remained at an excellent level, with appreciable renovation work on some circuits and a "reverse" experiment that proved successful. The sim-cade driving model has veered toward that of the well-received F1 23 to meet community demands, but the physics engine and game structure remain virtually unchanged with all the pros and cons. F1 25 remains a thoroughly enjoyable experience for fans of Leclerc, Norris, Piastri, Russell and co. New ideas are beginning to be lacking, however, while several modes and aspects of the game are beginning to show signs of aging.
-
May 28, 2025Despite refined controls, improved tire physics, and solid AI behavior that enhance the on-track experience, the game lacks innovation in its game modes and fails to capitalize on F1’s rich history, making it enjoyable yet stagnant for longtime fans.
-
May 27, 2025F1 25 is a classic example of a yearly game that improves in several aspects without distorting them in any way. If you own an F1 video game from the past four years, you know exactly what to expect from F1 25. If, on the other hand, you have never played it, this is unquestionably the best title in the series to enjoy the current world of Formula 1 in video game format.
-
May 27, 2025EA Sports and Codemasters have conjured what is the best Formula 1 game to date. The problem here is that they do this every other year, without error. F1 25 has beautiful graphics, a bombastic presentation that sometimes overshadows the actual racing, and handling improvements that finally do away with half a decade of bad habits in the series. If you are chasing a realistic Formula 1 racing experience and sink over a hundred hours into this game yearly, these changes are enough to justify the price. However, for most players, especially those running controllers or with multiple assists on, this is just $59.99 to have a slightly more polished experience than F1 24. Here's hoping the 2026 regulations bring the change that both virtual and real series need.
-
May 27, 2025There’s a lot of fun to be had in F1 25, largely thanks to the excellent Braking Point 3 campaign and a very welcome upgrade to the My Team career mode. That said, most modes remain practically unchanged from last year’s entry, leaving the series feeling like it's spinning its wheels somewhat. Here’s hoping Codemasters has some big changes planned for next year’s game in line with the sport’s real-world regulation changes.
-
May 27, 2025EA Sports F1 25 is overall another rock solid entry in the annual franchise. The driving is reliably good fun and impressively flexible, and the return of Braking Point is a welcome one, even if it's not the best story ever told. A robust set of modes means there's something for everyone, and it looks and sounds great on the whole. One or two career mode changes might ruffle some feathers, and navigating the game can feel slow, but by and large it's a podium finish for this F1 racer.
-
May 30, 2025Subtle improvements and the amalgamation of ways F1 25 engages players aren't enough to stave off the fact there's no bold step forward with this latest series offering. It's another year and another entry, and while you'll still want to return if you've been dedicated to F1 games for years, there's not enough here to justify F1 25 as a must-buy.
-
May 29, 2025F1 25 is a solid continuation of the series, with occasional improvements in physics, car behavior and game modes. Despite this, many of the changes are subtle for those coming from F1 24, which calls into question the usefulness of a new annual release.

Jun 4, 2025So, coming into this game as a relative newbie, I’m sure there are longstanding gripes with the series that longtime fans have. Having only put any time into one game in the series prior to this, I can’t speak to an overall evolution from past entries to this one. What I can say, though, is that for those who are on the fence about this style of game, as I was, or those who are just looking for a great entry point, F1 25 is perfect for you. If you’re willing to really lean into how races actually work and the management that goes on during them, you’ll have a great time. [Highly Recommended]
