    I waited 3 years and right now it is still a piece of s.... All I see for now is good artists work for players cards. The network code is a trash, graphics is "hello from 2013" and the game is not responsive in most of games (to be clear I have kinetic sprinter with wire connection to my ps5 and 500mb internet connection. The core game was lost when they moved from PES, sad thing for base fan players who stood up against EA despite the graphics and lack of licences which PES had across the years.
    For someone who enjoyed PES gameplay before this horrible change, the only solution is to keep playing PES21 with custom leagues and against computer, either way playing eFootball23 is the same thing because scripting will not let you beating other human players weaker than you.
    This will be the second year in a row when Konami will earn “the worst rated game of the year” with eFootball - for those who remember 3 years ago PES was in Top 3… shame Konami!    … Expand

    Even if some of the problems were fixed, it's best to go back to PES. eFootball 2023 is not worth it in the end. There are still some problems and there are new problems and the game's depth is too thin. Even if the modes are coming, they should not be DLC and they should be in at launch.     Good gameplay, except it's only made for people who like multiplayer. I miss the Master League.

    eFootball is an excellent example of how to completely ruin a loved video game. PES had a great fanbase, and it would be fun to play if you could afford to buy it, but Konami ended all that was good in Pro Evolution Soccer. This "game" has trash gameplay, less than 30 total teams, and hear me out: PLAYSTATION 2 GRAPHICS. You can literally see the pixels on your screen.     The best football game on PS5 yet, watch and learn FIFA. Too bad EA had exclusively licensed most of the clubs but it's about to end soon and efootball will be even better. The developers really put the emphasis here on gameplay, the game loop is fantastic and fun. Brings console football back to its glory days. Great job Konami, looking forward to see more game modes, licenced clubs, andThe best football game on PS5 yet, watch and learn FIFA.     Efootball 23 is a very good game the new update bring more animations,better ball control the shooting is better, the gameplay is more more fluid and the game is rewarding gives you much more efootball points,gp points so is not pay to win much more rewarding than fifa.... So yeah give this game a chance its much more better than efootball 22 since the new updates patches and changes!!!

    This is a great game. Wonderful gameplay, it just needs more offline modes like master league and cups.

    This is the worst way to destroy an iconic franchise, you have no idea about the needs of your fan base, you only think about how to make more money without listening to the community. There is no going back on this game, you guys just killed the game in the blink of an eye, it's unbelievable.

    Awful gameplay, players incapable Of dribbling, every first touch is bad no matter the player rating or even ball control rating, every tackle is a foul even if timed well, it’s just overall a very poor game

    It wasn’t so bad actually. If you’re tired of fifa then this game is actually an option for you. But there’s almost no nice goods like “become a legend” or something like that. There’s nothing but something called Dream Team. But animation are nice

    Uninstall. Online match, script match. Youre skillful but if the system want you lose you surely lose. You shoot hit the crossbar etc. You never make a goal. Unreasonable pinalty. Unreasonable free kick. Your opponent just make a normal shoot and your goalkeeper suddenly become noob goalkeeper and your opponent make a goal. Do not install this game. The system in this game is failure

    eFootball 2023 does so much right on the field that it becomes tough to look beyond it. However, the lack of optimization for a closs-platform title, as well as the continued scarcity of offline modes, stop this game from completing its great comeback. The turnaround has begun, but Konami's is still trailing.

    On the face of it, eFootball remains a skeleton of a game in a genre where we're used to more content than we can handle and this update really adds very little to change that. But for gamers who don't want all the faff of playing through modes we've had for decades and just want to get on with building a side and having fun with them on the pitch, eFootball 2023 is a pretty good option. Especially as it's free and you never really need to spend any money on it to enjoy it.
