Sendo um jogo "oferecido" pela PS plus, dá para passar algumas horas de diversão em diferentes tipos de pista.
Não sendo grande fã de jogos de condução, dei por mim a querer acabar a campanha e a divertir-me bastante.

The 5 minutes of scrolling to get padt the User aggrement get you in a bad mood before you even play the game. Then the game itself is one of the worst racing games ive ever played. Controls are to floaty and the cars just suck.

small amounts of fun mixed with rage inducing ai. sucks when all you can do is watch the front pack get away while you're stuck in the group of cars not racing. game looks fine. sound isn't on par with better racing games. meh. cant recommend unless its real cheap.

Dirt 5 is a decent game. Not great but not bad. The graphics are excellent and the haptic controls are good. Short career mode and it gets repetitive. Get it on super sale if you want it.

Up to try any genre of games and sometimes I find something new that I didn't think I'd like. I own a PC (built by me), Xbox One X, Xbox Series X, PS3, PS4, PS5, and a Switch. I prefer Playstation due to their focus on narrative games. For scoring, I’ll be using the Gameinformer review scale and of course influenced by my personal opinions.

    (6) Limited Appeal. Although there may be fans of games receiving this score, many will be left yearning for a more rewarding game experience.

I’ve enjoyed Dirt 2, Dirt 4, and Dirt Rally but this latest release is a giant step back from their previous games. This iteration has no depth to it and is more arcady than their previous games which isn’t necessarily a bad thing but there isn’t any damage either and with the flip flop of sim vs arcade feel customers may not know what they are buying into if they played their past games . They took out their flashback mechanic too. It would be better if they only had this at an Arcade and I would just be able to put quarters in for the little amount of time it keeps me entertained.

It is actually a really good game. The playgrounds mode and 2 player arcade are the best but the career mode is good too. Its really fun but after around 3 hours of non stop playing it does get a little boring.

Dirt started pretty well for me. I enjoyed pretty much everything. The style, the cars, the engine sound, the different type of races and the handling felt pretty good, but it didn't last long.

It didn't took long to become repetitive. Most vehicles don't really feel like a different drive experience. I expected the game to get more intense, but everything remained the same. Slow

It didn't took long to become repetitive. Most vehicles don't really feel like a different drive experience. I expected the game to get more intense, but everything remained the same. Slow speeds, drift, hold the trigger and wait for the race to finish.

Gymkhana was the worst mode the game could have, specially being tied to a trophy. But if I even mention trophies, let's talk about the 1000 miles trophy that take nearly forever to naturally get. At some point you will have absolutely everything done, completely, you're done with the game, you've beaten every possible challenge, but you still only have about 400-500 miles driven. Meaning the amount of time it took you to beat everything is the same amount of time it will take you to complete a single trophy that should have been half of what it demands.

That was a bad touch, and it is indeed a part of the game, but I also don't think trophy difficulties are tied to game quality so I won't count this one in, but I needed to let it out of my chest regardless.

The game isn't accomplishing much unfortunately, specially from the same guys behind the awesome Colin McRae games. When you're in the 20's competing with massive racing games you can't focus on a single racing type and be mediocre about it. Not when you have racing games that are not rally games, but still surpass Dirt in rally mechanics. Not when you have games that are better at being Dirt than Dirt itself.

Online was also very vague. Matchmake, race, bye. No lobbies, no meetings, nothing interesting or compelling to make people return.

I can't say I didn't have fun, I did for the first 2 hours. Unfortunately.

Even though the game looks quite nice and includes different competitions, it gets very repetitive and boring very quickly. The circuits are all alike and are very few. The DLCs are outrageous: they bring almost no new features and are very expensive.

The biggest problem with this game, is that everything feels the same.
Icebreaker (because it's on ice) and Pathfinder (which is a very nice change of pace, but far to easy) are the only exceptions.

rarely is this a point-to-point affair, 90% of these are just "do a couple of laps on a generic off-road circuit". You can get different vehicle types, but again, most feel pretty much the same. there are exceptions, but they're rare and far between.
I've also found out that on the selection screen, you might get several class options, but the game gives you the locked options of the first class (making you think all the next cars are locked) before it gives you the unlocked ones of a second. If you're not aware of this, you can get far in the game, without ever driving some of the classes available in the game.

The AI is terrible. you win more races by mimicking their bashy-smashy attitude to get in front, and staying there because they often just stick there, rather running 4-wide than actually trying to pass.

The game also tries to get you involved into a rivalry between some veteran and some rising champion by making you a rookie that beats both of them (stop me if you've heard this one). problem is: I've never raced either of them, to my knowledge.

The game looks great, and the changing weather and day/night cycle are great, but then the races are often way too short to make those feel not awkward.

Codemasters seems to have no clue of what to do with the numbered Dirt series, with every game being something different. But this one is clearly the worst of the bunch.

    Pros:
    + Haptic feedback
    + Playground mode
    + Cockpit view
    + Accessible and arcadey racer

    So-So:
    - Rubberband A.I?

    Cons:
    - Third person view obstructs vision a lot of times, times where cockpit views are not the best option, ethier

This game should be up there as a showpiece for the ps5 controller, would buy this game full price just for the haptic feedback.

You can have fun with it for a while, but it isn't worth its price. This Game is a bad 1 to 1 copy of Dirt 3 with better graphics. Thats it. I had more fun with Dirt 3. Their creativeness is also lacking if you compare simple things like loading screens, drift score counter, and things like that. EA destroyed this game.

Objectively, it’s not a bad racing game, but it’s a bad Dirt game. Dirt has always found the sweet spot between arcade and simulation to make a very fun an engaging game, unfortunately this time around it feels like they turned the lever far too much in the direction of arcade without compensating for it in the gameplay. The best way of describing the feel of the game is as if Need for Speed made a Dirt game. The physics feel a little strange although are completely tolerable. What bothered me most about the physics was that there is virtually zero consequence for hitting other cars, so you’ll naturally accelerate hard into corners and use your opponents to slow your momentum so you can take the lead - it’s a little ridiculous. The AI is also very poor, they never make any mistakes and they just clump together in large packs, so you’re either in a way overcrowded stretch or you’re completely on your own. The graphics are decent but nothing to write home about, it almost feels like an upscaled PS4 game (fairly certain this is it). However, the colors in the game are awesome, everything feels super colorful and vibrant. Another cool feature is the active changes in time of day and weather throughout the course of a race, although while it’s a neat feature, it’s just so overused that it feels like a nuisance after awhile because every single race will have poor visibility either due to weather or time of day. The game is also missing some standard features that make for a more bare bones experience, for example, there is no replay system to go back and watch any awesome overtakes, and there is no co-driver that reads any upcoming turns and you can’t adjust where the minimap is located, so you’re stuck constantly taking your eyes off the road trying to figure out what turns are ahead. With all that being said, it’s still a fun game, I enjoyed it, but I couldn’t keep pushing through it felt pretty repetitive. The first 1/3 of the game is exciting, but the remaining 2/3 are just slight changes to the maps and race types that you have already been playing. This game was fun while it lasted. It’s a decent arcade racing game, but it’s a bad Dirt game. Expand

I love and arcade racer but this is everything that is wrong with modern gaming. Every time you start the game it tries to direct you to the ps store to buy some crappy car, has cringeworthy commentary/chat, The road surface has no effect on the driving experience, the other cars travel in a line like a train, and worst of all it is devoid of all fun. The only plus is that i got it on psplus .

Before I start complaining about this game I’ll agree I’m totally biased and my review will not be entirely fair. Graphics wise there isn’t a huge difference but as far as gameplay goes… Dirt really feels like you’re driving a 90’s arcade racer. Terrible acceleration and braking that feels completely inconsistent depending on if you’re in first or last place. Bouncing off of walls and obstacles when you accidentally go too far off track. Don’t even get me started on the drifting, that’s just as unrealistic as it gets. The sound isn’t much good either, engine sounds are pretty basic and get annoying after a while. I do like the soundtrack, a lot of energizing songs in the playlists. I’m not sure how I would have felt about this game if I had played it when it was just released but probably wouldn’t be much better than my current experience. Expand

DIRT 5 is an excellent, stunning and simply enjoyable arcade racer that is easy for anyone to pick-up and play regardless of your motor vehicle knowledge with a career mode that is surprisingly entertaining. You may want to pick it up on PlayStation 5 though since it feels awesome to play with the new DualSense features.

Much buggier than the PS4 version, Dirt 5 is nonetheless a showcase for PS5 gaming, and a much-needed champion for splitscreen racing. [Issue#183, p.86]

DIRT 5 on the PS5 is the best version of the game to get on PlayStation consoles, when it works. That’s a big caveat, and most gamers will not want to have to constantly remember to pre-emptively upload their save game after a few races, or risk losing hours of progress due to one unfortunate crash. This also necessitates a PlayStation Plus subscription, since copying PS5 save games to USB storage is unfortunately not an option as of this writing. Assuming these issues get patched out, then it is easy to recommend buying this on the PS5, because DIRT 5 is a showcase racing game for the next generation of consoles with its smart use of haptic feedback and ray tracing, all while delivering a smooth performance.
