    Gostei bastante do jogo, a série souls nunca engana, muito lindo graficamente e na jogabilidade 60fps. Tiro dois pontos pela falta de dificuldade comparando com outros souls e também porque não me prendeu como por exemplo Bloodborne.

    A remake of the PlayStation 3 classic from 2009, the full remake of Demon’s Souls lived up to the expectations of the console and what a launch title it was. Difficulty matters again, the BEAUTIFUL graphics, well designed bosses, the controller features are heavily apparent, and overall, a fantastic launch title for the PlayStation 5 that is worth the rage and a great example of a gameA remake of the PlayStation 3 classic from 2009, the full remake of Demon’s Souls lived up to the expectations of the console and what a launch title it was.     This is an unpopular opinion but I really didn’t get on with this game. I played Elden Ring and it’s the best game I’ve ever played. But with Demons Souls, I couldn’t even get past the first level without dying. It’s extremely frustrating and the combat is challenging. I’ve given it a 2 because I liked the atmosphere and art/graphics style. And a couple of the OST songs. However I dislikeThis is an unpopular opinion but I really didn’t get on with this game.     Un juego super, al inicio presenta un reto desafiante y hasta frustrante, sin embargo cuando pasas el primer mundo 1.1, 2.1 y 4.1 debido al farmeo, mejoras de armas y aprendizaje de las mecánicas del juego, uno disfruta el juego al máximo.

    The worst souls game for me. The mechanic of pure/dark tendency is crap. You can't get platinum without guides, also there are truly overpowered weapons. Some bosses are challenging but most distances to a boss take more time than boss

    Beautiful from the grounds up remake of the amazing game that started it all.
    Genre defining, breathtaking and eerie. It's a dream for every From Soft fan!

    This one is the best in the soul series. The enemies are much more creative (not always in a form like human, a head with two arms and legs). This remake makes my memories all come back, with enhanced images and 4K on my big tv screen. Thanks for bringing this wonderful game to life.

    Looks gorgeous, but bogged down by a terrible camera, archaic gameplay, and bad bosses. The contrast between demon's souls and recent fromsoft games like bloodborne, DS3, and sekiro is really stark. Bluepoint wasted a great chance to bring the demon's souls gameplay into 2020 along with its graphics.

    I have very mixed feelings about the game after finishing the platinum in 3 playthroughs (2 NG+ Cycles).
    The bosses being more mechanical than the bosses in later Souls games was something I needed to get used to. Once you figure out the mechanics you will never die to most bosses again... except for one... the infamous maneater...
    If you think maneater was bad on ng, it is nowhere near    I have very mixed feelings about the game after finishing the platinum in 3 playthroughs (2 NG+ Cycles).

    If you think maneater was bad on ng, it is nowhere near the experience you will have on ng+ or ng++ and it is astonishing that they have not made any changes to the bossfight or at least increased the width of the bridge. It is borderline RNG which attacks he does and if you get hit, you'll more often than not drop off the bridge. Yet this is not the worst part, since you can learn to dodge or block the attacks. Once the fight starts, a timer starts for a second maneater to appear. If you are unlucky and the initial maneater decides to do more aerial attacks, during which he can only be hit by spells and arrows or he just flies off and you'll have a horrible experience when the timer runs out and you have to fight 2 of them at the same time. If you melee only on the NG+ you'll hit your wall here.
    The combat in general is fine. iframes feel much shorter than in other games of the souls series though I have not done any research here. Unfortunately tight corridors make it much less interesting and more often than not you'll just hit behind your shield and let enemies hit first. The amount of ranged enemies you'll encounter in these corridors will also leave you with mixed feelings about the game.
    The soul-form mechanic (getting a 50% health penalty for dying) seems stupid to me, especially for people new to souls games but if you are a souls veteran it will not influence your gameplay whatsoever as bosses are mechanical and require a less reactive playstyle.
    The hardest encounters in the game are the 5 Pure-Black-World-Tendency Phantoms. They are no joke in NG+ cycles. If you get hit, you die, they have massive healthpools and defenses and one of them almost instant heals once he reaches 30% so good luck with that :)
    The overall experience is good tho and as long as it is on PS Plus Extra I recommend playing it. NG is fun and the experience is pretty good (based on NG only it is a solig 9/10). Only NG+ Cycles and make the game much less enjoyable at many points and Magic builds start to massively outperform traditional melee builds.    … Expand

    The game has beautiful graphics but the gameplay sadly is the first iteration of the Souls genre, hence it is not very engaging or fluid. The game also suffers from tedious runs to bosses if you die and do not manage to kill the boss. Instead of practicing to kill the boss, you have to go through a gauntlet of annoying enemies and only make it to the boss half of the time.

    Too hard and too easy? Demon's souls benefits from its unique art design and next generation graphics. However I found that playing the game was really hard if you were playing the "correct way" and was really easy when using an exploited strategy. The easy way make it less fun and the hard way is infuriating. Also I found the dodge mechanic to be very unresponsive/inconsistent.

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. A "Graphical improvement" that falls flat in so many aspects. The gameplay first of all is the same as the original, no improvements, the backstabs and counterattacks after a parry are changed with some over the top animations which feels awkward. The "graphical improvements" of the game are ironically what ruined the game. The artistic direction of the original was used as tool for the narrative of the story by showing the desolation and the fog that was shrouding Boletaria, while in the remake everything Is gaudy and the fog that was the main aspect of the narrative of Boletaria was replaced by a clear sky in order to show the graphics and the potential of the ps5. As for the rest of the other areas, Latria followed the same mistake by giving it a gothic look which reminded me of another game instead of and improvement of the original. Another bad aspect is the music for the bosses as "the music of the remake Is inspired by Bloodborne" which Is why the OST falls flat since there is no rhythm during the boss fights because they maintened the same mechanics of the original and putting a Grandiose and an Epic orchestra for a giant manta ray fish that slowly approaches you is more laughable than epic. lets not talk about the Nexus ost that was destroyed by a ridicolous church chant instead of putting and improving the simple and a mysterious tones of the original, no comment for the false king ost...
    In conclusion this remake was made without the direction of the original developers but this was aspected since From software is hated by the Ps5 higher-ups but nevertheless a shame that this was used as tech demo for the ps5 because It had a lot of potential but It was sadly wasted.    … Expand

    Este juego hasta el dia de hoy no lo han arreglado con ese problema con el cierre forzado que ha aparecido en el momento menos esperado cuando uni esta jugando, arruinando la experiencia de los jugadores desde su fecha de lanzamiento 2020, es lamentable que jamás hayan arreglado ese problema del crasheo ya que ha sucedido en varias consolas de esta generación y hasta el dia de hoy lo sigueEste juego hasta el dia de hoy no lo han arreglado con ese problema con el cierre forzado que ha aparecido en el momento menos esperado cuando uni esta jugando, arruinando la experiencia de los jugadores desde su fecha de lanzamiento 2020, es lamentable que jamás hayan arreglado ese problema del crasheo ya que ha sucedido en varias consolas de esta generación y hasta el dia de hoy lo sigue habiendo, claramente este intento de remake era solo un tester para la aclamadisima consola ps5, porque aun esta mal optimizado y creo que se quedara asi incluso cuando salga la ps5 pro.… Expand

    It’s a perfect remake and I think the only people who might be disappointed with it are… the die-hard FromSoftware fans. You see, the new Demon’s Souls shows clearly how much Miyazaki’s games have evolved throughout the years. The Dark Souls series simply does everything better. The remake looks like a prototype in comparison, while still being way ahead of other developers’ achievements in this genre. [01/2021, p.46]

    Overall, Demon’s Souls is still the most interesting and varied game in the Souls series. This remake not only looks lovely on the PlayStation 5 but is also a joy to play with all the tweaks and improvements that have been introduced. Now if only people would look past its supposed difficulty and see its carefully crafted intricacy instead.

    I went in expecting the world out of the Demon’s Souls remake and it delivered me the galaxy. I don’t normally speak this highly of games, but this is the one exception. Absolutely every facet of the original has been enhanced and it has stood the test of time. Bluepoint has done an incredible job at not only reinvigorating an underappreciated gem, but also leveraging the new technologies afforded to them with Sony’s new system. While there are a couple of minor technical blemishes, they don’t take away from how good of an experience this game is and Bluepoint’s diligence as a developer will surely see these kinks ironed out. This game is a system seller.
