    10/10! PS5 is The best way to play a souls game. I really hope Bluepoint takes over Bloodborne 2 development. Now I understand the price point. Demon’s Soul Remake is amazing!! Everything is faithful to the original, but they made it even better!! Animations, textures, lights, mechanics, music etc!

    Beautiful game, this is my first time playing demon souls, and I highly reccomend it, it's the most detailed and beautiful action rpg, the lighting just superb, huge amount of enemy variations, challenging and fair challenges

    Awesome game, worth buying a ps5 for alone. Loved the original and this has kept the magic of that one but still managed to improve on it

    Fantastic game! And NO I'm not a bot or saying this for the sake of it. The people who are rating this game poor and either brain dead, Xbox fan boys, finding it too hard or just being trolls. They have no clue. The game is a dream and can easily be game of the year.     I became a souls fan after playing Dark Souls and Bloodborne. I always wanted to play Demon's Souls. This remake is such a thing of beauty. They kept everything from the original and did some quality of life changes. The graphics are phenomenal and undeniably the best graphics in a game that exists currently. The sound design is phenomenal and really brings to life the Kindgom of BoletariaI became a souls fan after playing Dark Souls and Bloodborne. I always wanted to play Demon's Souls. This remake is such a thing of beauty. They kept everything from the original and did some quality of life changes. The graphics are phenomenal and undeniably the best graphics in a game that exists currently. The sound design is phenomenal and really brings to life the Kindgom of Boletaria and other places in this game. Shrine of Storms is such a treat visually and in audio, as well as Valley of Defilement which is equally oppressive and soul crushing. I am phenomenally impressed by this game. I am a veteran souls player having finished Bloodborne and Dark Souls 1 and 3, and this game still is not easy. The levels are hard and one has to be really strategic. Dying and going through an area is still so much fun as the loading is almost non-existent.

    Some people are putting negative comments without playing the game. Don't judge it until you play it. Even those who are difficult to please really love it like VaatiVidya.    … Expand

    The best looking game on the new consoles, it plays perfect and it sounds perfect. I recommend it to anyone who likes souls games.

It is a relentless emotional assault that I suspect will force even the most jaded gamer to feel empathy. The game is a work of art - every aspect feels crafted at the highest level. Visuals, audio, controls, animation, levelIn a medium where everything is John Wick, Demon's Souls Remake is Schindler's List. With moments you NEVER find in video games. But I cannot overstate how harrowing it is. It feels like 2 seasons of the darkest TV show you'll ever find, and it frequently better than most TV on the air. That's saying a lot. I think it is an IMPORTANT game. It tore me up, and I will never, ever forget it. DS Remake is a game that will change you. In short, DS Remake put me through hell. I did not enjoy it. I wasn't supposed to. I was affected by it. Like no game before. I am in awe of it. I am recovering from it. By the way, I saved 5 hours of my lifetime thanks to the shorter loading times.     Masterpiece. The game runs absolutely smooth, the graphics are true next gen, and the gameplay is fluid and constant. I was not going to purchase it but I was positively surprised by the well made mechanics, gorgeous illumination and effects and the efforts on make this game a worthy remake. Perfect launch title, totally recommended!

    O melhor Remake que já joguei, tem o melhor visual de 2020, mesmo sem Ray Tracing sua iluminação é a melhor desse ano, a melhor q já vi. A jogabilidade é ótima e fluída, e muito difícil. Recomendo a todos que querem começar a jogar a franquia SOULS!

    BluePoint did an amazing job with this remake they kept the essence of the original and even improved it, this is how begins a new generation of consoles, with games, and if they are that spectacular the better.

    Awsome. Epic Bosses, great challenging experience.
    We play most all new games in hardest mode for a challenge and longer gameplay.
    Great to see they didn't stick in an easy mode.

    La Next Gen la inicia esta obra maestra modernizada por el gran equipo de Bluepoint mostrando un juego detallado y que te atrapa de principio a fin, sufres, evolucionado como jugador y crece tu PJ. Con una ambientación sublime y una recreación de escenarios asombrosa. Si quieres experimentar la Next Gen, este es el juego indicado.

    O remake está lindo!!! Na verdade, acho que a Bluepoint podia ter mexido mais, pra dar algumas supresas... kkk O jogo é meio besta pra quem já está acostumado com Bloodborne, Dark Souls e Sekiro, mas é uma bela introdução pra quem ainda não conhece a franquia. Acho que é o jogo mais bonito que já joguei

    This game was daunting to me at first. I spent 3 hours on the first level learning the mechanics and I had a blast. Beating the first boss was so satisfying, The game is truly beautiful on the PS5. This is the perfect game to go along with the new PS5.

    It’s a perfect remake and I think the only people who might be disappointed with it are… the die-hard FromSoftware fans. You see, the new Demon’s Souls shows clearly how much Miyazaki’s games have evolved throughout the years. The Dark Souls series simply does everything better. The remake looks like a prototype in comparison, while still being way ahead of other developers’ achievements in this genre. [01/2021, p.46]

    Overall, Demon’s Souls is still the most interesting and varied game in the Souls series. This remake not only looks lovely on the PlayStation 5 but is also a joy to play with all the tweaks and improvements that have been introduced. Now if only people would look past its supposed difficulty and see its carefully crafted intricacy instead.

    I went in expecting the world out of the Demon’s Souls remake and it delivered me the galaxy. I don’t normally speak this highly of games, but this is the one exception. Absolutely every facet of the original has been enhanced and it has stood the test of time. Bluepoint has done an incredible job at not only reinvigorating an underappreciated gem, but also leveraging the new technologies afforded to them with Sony’s new system. While there are a couple of minor technical blemishes, they don’t take away from how good of an experience this game is and Bluepoint’s diligence as a developer will surely see these kinks ironed out. This game is a system seller.
