    A great game where all begins. Demon's Souls on PS5 is the biggest launch tittle. The game loads really fast, has pretty graphics, is so fun com co-op and even offline. The game is so good that i already have more than 150 hours.

    This game is amazing. I only played the original for a bit, but I have put in a ton of play on this game and I can honestly say that it plays great and above all, it is beautiful. A lot of the areas in the old game seemed rough and unfinished when I played them, but here every parts seem heavily expanded on and developed.     This is how we give a second chance to a masterpiece. This is by far the most beautiful game I've ever played, lights and shadows like we've never seen. And the gameplay is not old at all, this is trully modern and people giving this a bad score are not video-games lovers.

The remaster missed a good opportunity to fix some of the issues that were very apparent in original Demon's Souls PvP, but purists would consider this being a good thing.     Bluepoint knocked out of the park with their new remake "Demon´s Souls" its the dad figure of many games today most notorely Dark Souls, a multiplataform demons souls.
    Long story short, if you ever played demons souls, this code remains untouched, everything is right there where you remember, bosses can be defeated the same way as they used to 10 years ago, and that will please many fans,    Bluepoint knocked out of the park with their new remake "Demon´s Souls" its the dad figure of many games today most notorely Dark Souls, a multiplataform demons souls.
    Long story short, if you ever played demons souls, this code remains untouched, everything is right there where you remember, bosses can be defeated the same way as they used to 10 years ago, and that will please many fans, but its not just a lazy remake, bluepoint has gone the extra mile, i cant express in words about how good it looks, and how smooth it runs, maybe i notice a small drop or two in 20 hours of gameplay so far, but nothing really noticable (as a pc player i have an eye for this things), the sound makes use of the new 3d audio, and as an audio fan i can say that i see a loot of potential in this tech, its on point, maybe sometimes audio could lower its resolution, but then again, not really something that anyone can notice, and i believe this will keep evolving. On the controller, well, i think for the tone of the game bluepoint has nailed again, its not an expectacle like astro playroom, its more serious, you can feel how the trigger stops when the hit wont connect, or how it feels when you hit flesh, its just magical, and everyone should feel it, for me its a 9.8, but since metacritic wont let us use decimals, i have to give it the full 10 score. what a threat to start the new gen!    … Expand

    Demons souls on ps3 was already a piece of art, and the remake on ps5 has improved everything from the original!!! Best remake I've ever had the honor to play. Ds is an 11 out of 10!!!

    This was the very first Souls game that I actually beat. I have Bloodborne but still working on that one. This game starts off very difficult if you’re not used to these games but with time you start figuring it out and strategizing on how to beat a certain enemy. Only thing I did not like was having to go through the whole level again to reach the boss every time I’d die. But that’sThis was the very first Souls game that I actually beat.     Great game. Holds true to the original. The new visuals filled in what I pictured in my mind from the PS3 version. Happy to revisit the world with such great detail and the special effects are amazing!!

    Probably the best game ever! I'm fan of all SoulsBorne games (except Sekiro which was complete fail), but this one regarding atmosphere and environment better than any. In my personal opinion probably easiest SoulsBorne game, but awesome! Remake is done flawless and perfect! Good job!

    Im so glad Bluepoint Games brought this masterpiece back. Demon's Souls has a unique place
    to me. I enjoyed every single moment while i was playing on ps3, but this is beyond greatness. I hope their next project is Soul Sacrifice !

    A classic reborn. Undoubtedly one of the best remakes ever created, it stays true to the original while still improving its archaic mechanics and making it more pleasant to play. The visuals are outstanding, Bluepoint Games has very talented artists and cutting edge tech. The best showcase of what early PS5 games should aim for.

    Fantastic remake of the game that started the whole SoulsBorne genre.
    Not the best game in the series in my opinion but a must play nonetheless.
    Great atmosphere and level design, chunky and sweet combat, lot's of secrets and interesting mechanics to deep dive into.
    The bosses might feel lacking if you play this after the best bosses of Sekiro or Bloodborne though.

    If you're a fan of the original, or love Soulsborne games you owe it to yourself to pick up this remake. It's just like the original, but with a better UI, gorgeous visuals, and more fine tuned gameplay. It's not for the faint of heart, but if you like exploration and a bit of a challenge you'll love this.

    It’s simply a MASTERPIECE. Best Graphics of all time! Next Gen has arrived this I extremely atmospheric and the sound design was insane play this with good headphones I use Astro A50s WOW.

    Tough as nails, but a blast to play. It’s even better looking than I expected. The gameplay is very fluid and there were never any deaths that I didn’t step back and say, “well, that’s on me. I did (insert rushed tactic).” Great game!

    What a masterpiece. Bluepoint did a stellar job maintaining the integrity of the original game, while sharpening it's visuals. This is the launchpoint for the "Souls" genre. The atmosphere, difficulty, combat, and lore are incredible.

The game play is so good, Played the first version on PS3 when it came out, this was a great kick of nostalgia to the START of all Souls game. They added multi directional roll which wasnt there before and also the sounds of spells are so good. on my 4K HDRall the 0's and 1's are there to tank the review scrore of this beautiful game.     One of the best launch games of all time, up there with Mario 64. I've played every Soulslike game including Bloodborne, Sekiro, Nioh and a few 2D and I think this remake is among the best. Blue Point is setting the bar sky high for remakes. An absolute must buy for the any serious gamer.

    I was so ready to give up on this, the frustration was unbelivable. Played through all the other souls games, but this one was special. Even uninstalled it and thought about selling it for a while. But then I gave it a new try, and o boy what a ride. So worth it. If you struggle, dont give up. It will click eventually, and it will be awsome.

    What is there to say, its a souls game. They took the game that started it all and built it from the ground out and gave it a rocket engine to boot.

This game is a visual masterpiece, and since they kept the bones of the original demon's Souls, you know that the gameplay is a masterclass as well.     It is a mental grind.. But the satisfaction you get after you clear the boss after your heart is pounding is    DISREGARD ALL 0! I enjoyed all the Dark Souls, except 2, Bloodborne and Sekiro! And this one is by far the hardest (except Sekiro) and most enjoyable experience since it has no checkpoints and you have to go through the entire labyrinth to get to the boss fight each time.

    It is a mental grind.. But the satisfaction you get after you clear the boss after your heart is pounding is exhilarating!! I think the PS5 version seems easier and it maybe because it's 60FPS with NO stuttering, virtually no load time.

    I LOVE The game so much I was up till 3am playing ALL day! If you enjoy FromSoft games do NOT miss this one! It's AWESOME! The remake is mind blowing graphics and sound! The 60FPS is gloriously smooth.

    This is such an amazing game and enjoying this so much! I love the graphics, UI and gameplay! It's been so awesome! Over 15hrs and 6 bosses down already and more to go!     Outstanding game, loved it, also loved the trophy list, it was hard ish to start but managed to get the platinum quite easily in the end as the game allows you to overpower you self with some grinding (unlike sekiro), but yeah loved it great game.

    El mejor homenaje que se podría haber hecho para el juego que inició un estilo de juego que marcó una década. Gráficos next-gen, efectos de iluminación fascinantes y un modelado con texturas 4k que le lavo la cara al Demon's Souls original como nunca había imaginado.     Absolutely brillant remake. Best looking game so far with pretty next Gen graphics. Runs smooth as hell with 60 frames. Best Souls game in my opinion and is the best Launch exklusive Sony could have. Great start into the next console generation.
    Worth every penny.

    Dont trust review bombres, either you are a veteran of the souls saga or a newcomer THIS game just ROCKS!!!IT is one of the best games of the saga and is rebuild like a new masterpiece!

    A perfect example of how game remake should look like. Nice picture, so familiar, but refreshed gameplay, some of new ps5 features. Of course, some mechanics feels outdated, nevertheless - amazing game for souls fans.

    Demons souls foi meu primeiro game lá no PS3. Esse remake trouxe toda a nostalgia daquela época, mas em uma roupagem insana de bonita. Os gráficos estão absurdos e foi uma ótima forma de estreiar o ps5.

    Incrível. Platinei o Demon's Souls no PS3. Naquele tempo o game já era revolucionário. E hoje mais uma vez o Demon's Souls faz o seu nome na história. Ótimo remake.

    Legendary game. Beautiful and filled with secrets och hidden paths. Great boss battles and nice level design. Many builds and lots of replayability. People rating this game less than 10/10 need to git gud.

I’m a massive souls fan and was always getting a PS5 so this was an absolute no brainer, plays amazingly, graphics are immense, and just a wonderful experience from start to finish. I finished the game and collected all trophies without any guides etc, and took me 85 hours, and even up until the end of my 3rd playthrough, i did not want itGreatest launch title of all time in my opinion!     The atmosphere is probably the best in the soul series and I will also say that the we make is beautiful.     Amazing remake, it’s a slow game but that’s how it’s suppose to be. Difficult but rewarding all at the same time, give yourself to play this amazing game.

    Fantastic game originally, and even better with the QOL changes introduced by Bluepoint. Couple that with what is basically the removal of loading screens and that iconic Bluepoint Polish and we have the progenitor of the Souls genre in top form.

    The one that started all of the souls games in a brand new outfit for a machine such as the PS5, brilliant game. I believe i've put 100+ hours and still wanted more. hope there will be more similar remakes in the future.

    As a die-hard Souls fan you have no idea how happy this game makes me. I did not start playing Souls games until last year but when I did I instantly fell in love with them.     It’s a perfect remake and I think the only people who might be disappointed with it are… the die-hard FromSoftware fans. You see, the new Demon’s Souls shows clearly how much Miyazaki’s games have evolved throughout the years. The Dark Souls series simply does everything better. The remake looks like a prototype in comparison, while still being way ahead of other developers’ achievements in this genre. [01/2021, p.46]

    Overall, Demon’s Souls is still the most interesting and varied game in the Souls series. This remake not only looks lovely on the PlayStation 5 but is also a joy to play with all the tweaks and improvements that have been introduced. Now if only people would look past its supposed difficulty and see its carefully crafted intricacy instead.

    I went in expecting the world out of the Demon’s Souls remake and it delivered me the galaxy. I don’t normally speak this highly of games, but this is the one exception. Absolutely every facet of the original has been enhanced and it has stood the test of time. Bluepoint has done an incredible job at not only reinvigorating an underappreciated gem, but also leveraging the new technologies afforded to them with Sony’s new system. While there are a couple of minor technical blemishes, they don’t take away from how good of an experience this game is and Bluepoint’s diligence as a developer will surely see these kinks ironed out. This game is a system seller.
