    Gostei bastante do jogo, a série souls nunca engana, muito lindo graficamente e na jogabilidade 60fps. Tiro dois pontos pela falta de dificuldade comparando com outros souls e também porque não me prendeu como por exemplo Bloodborne.

    A remake of the PlayStation 3 classic from 2009, the full remake of Demon’s Souls lived up to the expectations of the console and what a launch title it was. Difficulty matters again, the BEAUTIFUL graphics, well designed bosses, the controller features are heavily apparent, and overall, a fantastic launch title for the PlayStation 5 that is worth the rage and a great example of a gameA remake of the PlayStation 3 classic from 2009, the full remake of Demon’s Souls lived up to the expectations of the console and what a launch title it was.     Un juego super, al inicio presenta un reto desafiante y hasta frustrante, sin embargo cuando pasas el primer mundo 1.1, 2.1 y 4.1 debido al farmeo, mejoras de armas y aprendizaje de las mecánicas del juego, uno disfruta el juego al máximo.

    This one is the best in the soul series. The enemies are much more creative (not always in a form like human, a head with two arms and legs). This remake makes my memories all come back, with enhanced images and 4K on my big tv screen. Thanks for bringing this wonderful game to life.

Hablando primero sobre el remake (que me ha durado 30 horas), el trabajo realizado por BluePoint es soberbio, con una calidad gráfica que roza la perfección, unas texturas y modelados muyDemon's Souls es el juego que dio paso a un género en si mismo como son los souls-like, la obra primigenia sobre la que se cimentan las bases de la jugabilidad de este tipo de juegos de rol y acción. Hablando primero sobre el remake (que me ha durado 30 horas), el trabajo realizado por BluePoint es soberbio, con una calidad gráfica que roza la perfección, unas texturas y modelados muy cuidados y un apartado sonoro excelente. El estilo artístico también ha mejorado notoriamente teniendo zonas estremecedoras por su paisaje y siendo un juego mucho más bonito que el original de PS3. No se han retocado muchas cosas de la jugabilidad más allá de algunas mejoras de accesibilidad, lo que demuestra el respeto del estudio por esta obra de culto. Pasando al juego en sí, tanto la jugabilidad característica de los souls (con armas, hechizos y formas de personalización que dotan al juego de muchas posibilidades) como el diseño de niveles me ha parecido magistral, y que el juego esté dividido en zonas y que puedas jugarlas en el orden que quieras me ha parecido una gran idea. Los bosses en general me han parecido bastante sencillos pero con mecánicas interesantes. En cuanto a la historia y el lore del mundo, sigue un argumento bastante simple y fácil de entender pero creo que se podría haber explotado mucho más el contexto del mundo y los personajes. La banda sonora me ha parecido muy buena y acorde a la ambientación del juego. Pero para mí el punto débil del juego es sin duda el sistema de tendencias. Me parece absurdo que dependiendo de si mueres mucho o venzas a los jefes tengas una tendencia negra o blanca y te aparezcan enemigos durísimos o se te desbloquee contenido en función de eso. No le veo el sentido y no me ha gustado nada. Aun teniendo en cuenta esto, Demon's Souls es un juegazo y lo recomiendo a quienes les gusten los juegos desafiantes de acción. 8,7/10

    Je n'avais jamais fait le jeu sur PS3, c'était donc l'occasion de m'y essayer. J'avais un peu peur de la difficulté mais j'avais réussi à finir Elden Ring (sur Series X pour le coup) donc j'ai tenté.
    J'ai fini le jeu avec un perso au level 87 en ne luttant que sur quelques boss mais rien d'aussi difficile que Elden Ring.
    Le jeu est beau, la DA est magnifique et l'ambiance excellente.    Je n'avais jamais fait le jeu sur PS3, c'était donc l'occasion de m'y essayer. J'avais un peu peur de la difficulté mais j'avais réussi à finir Elden Ring (sur Series X pour le coup) donc j'ai tenté.

    Mes seuls reproches sont au niveau de l'inventaire. Les armures ne servent à rien (j'ai gardé la même du début jusqu'à la fin), impossible de les upgrader, impossible de vendre les tonnes d'objets que l'on trouve. Bref, à part upgrader son épée et quelques boucliers, la quasi totalité des objets trouvés ne servent à rien (si ce n'est nous encombrer).

    dopo un primo livello tutto sommato fattibile la mia avventura terminò subito dopo, quando un messaggio a terra mi diceva il vero demon's souls comincia ora.
    quello che mi attendeva dopo quella nebbia era un ponte crudele, dove un drago mi uccideva continuamente    la mia prima esperienza con demon's souls iniziò nel lontano maggio del 2013, quando il titolo fu regalato nel ps plus.
    dopo un primo livello tutto sommato fattibile la mia avventura terminò subito dopo, quando un messaggio a terra mi diceva il vero demon's souls comincia ora.
    quello che mi attendeva dopo quella nebbia era un ponte crudele, dove un drago mi uccideva continuamente sputandomi fuoco, e quando arrivavo a superare quel dannato ponte i nemici prima del boss mi avrebbero terminato.
    le poche volte che arrivo dal boss mi prendevo uno scudo da diverse tonnellate addosso e dovevo ripartire da capo.
    svariate mori più avanti decisi di eliminare il titolo.
    i mesi passarono e dark souls diventava sempre di più un titolo di culto. con molti video che spiegavano come il titolo era più accessibile del previsto, ma io non potevano comprarlo.
    prima dovevo finire demon's souls.
    e così iniziai la mia seconda run sul titolo e finalmente a gennaio 2014 riuscì ad abbattere quel terribile nemico armato di scudo colossale.
    ben presto riuscì a terminare pure il gioco, ma facendolo tramite numerose guide che ti dicevano dove andare, cosa fare o come sconfiggere il boss.
    inutile dire che giocarlo così è stato molto limitante a quello che il gioco offriva.
    e oggi dopo quasi 10 anni per la prima volta termino il gioco con la libertà di esplorarlo e viverlo a modo mio.
    il lavoro fatto nel remake è semplicemente magistrale dal punto di vista tecnico.
    in particolar modo l'illuminazione e l'audio. inoltre il remake si è preso diverse libertà creative che rendono il gioco ancora più ricco di dettagli, ma che per ovvie motivazioni risulta meno fedele e non tutti potrebbero apprezzare questa cambiamento.
    il titolo mantiene però la struttura dei livelli originali, in tutta la sua brutale difficoltà.
    molto spesso sento dire, che chi dice che gli ultimi giochi fromsoftware siano facile lo dice solo perchè si è abituato alla formula di gioco. ma questo titolo è la dimostrazione che non è vero, demon's souls era più difficile e continua ad esserlo ancora oggi.
    oltre al fatto che in questo gioco ci sono cose non immediatissime come il potenziamento delle armi, fatto con decine di materiali differenti. o le armi del boss che si ottengono potenziando armi casualmente.
    anche la tendenza dei mondi è una cosa tremendamente difficile da capire, trovandoci oggetti irraggiungibili o porte chiuse che si ottengono o aprono solo in base a quanti boss uccidiamo, o a quante volte moriamo in forma umana.
    altra cosa complessa la vita dimezzata se siamo in forma di spettri, o il peso degli oggetti che ci impedisce di portare un certo tot di oggetti con noi, o anche la durabilità delle armi non sempre molto longeve, o le cure che non si rigenerano alla morte.
    tutte queste cose alla lunga potrebbero infastidire chi si è bloccato contro un boss e deve tornare al nexus a riparare le armi, o a prendere nuove cure.
    i boss poi sono quanto di più sgradevole si possa immaginare, con alcuni boss veramente forti che richiedono davvero troppi minuti di viaggio per essere raggiunti.
    ma tutto questo rende anche molto più gratificante i riuscire andare avanti, il riuscire a sconfiggere un nemico, il riuscire a superare una sfida.
    demon's souls è un titolo grezzo, che non significa fatto male o poco curato. il titolo è volutamente fatto così per generare una sfida impegnativa, forse alcune cose le si potevano fare meglio. ma nel complesso risulta un gioco più che riuscito, e se non vi spaventano queste difficoltà un titolo super consigliato.

    Ha sido mi entrada al mundo Miyazaki, y no he podido quedar mas satisfecho, me enganchó de principio a fin. El apartado gráfico excelente, de lo mejor de la generación, estoy deseando que hagan Bloodborne remake.

    This game surpasses any other game I have played thus far, making it the best one by far. Every aspect of it is flawlessly executed. The lore story is nothing short of perfection, captivating and immersive. The game play itself is extraordinary, offering a truly exceptional experience. I have already dedicated over 80 hours to playing it, and I simply can't tear myself away from it.

    At the gameplay level, it shows that it is a remake of a game from more than 10 years ago and the time is noticeable, as well as the save points and such

    Even so, it is very enjoyable. It would not be in my top 3 of souls games, but it is worth playing.

    It looks stunning and even though I was a Dark Souls Newbie it was real fun to play.     Intro: I'm 13 hours in, thanks to playstation plus extra's game catalogue. I own Dark Souls III but never finished it, due to difficulty, perhaps due to my young age and gaming inexperience at the time. I was slightly dreading playing demons souls, but wanting to try as many games as possible, and seeing the good-looking trailers and reviews, I decided to anyway. And what a game.

    The    Intro: I'm 13 hours in, thanks to playstation plus extra's game catalogue. I own Dark Souls III but never finished it, due to difficulty, perhaps due to my young age and gaming inexperience at the time. I was slightly dreading playing demons souls, but wanting to try as many games as possible, and seeing the good-looking trailers and reviews, I decided to anyway. And what a game.

    The good stuff: Everything feels well planned and structured. Everything seems to have a purpose. I kept thinking about the decisions that the developers made as i played. it is such a cohesive experience. from the story to the enemies to the locations, everything makes sense. it's all so logical and i cannot stop thinking about the game even when i'm off. The maiden in black keeps all the candles in the nexus lit and grants levelling up as well. Even the English and Scottish accents seemed fitting and logical to have as the main VA accents in this world. Indeed the game is not easy, but it makes winning so much more satisfying than in most games. The nexus is audibly and physically beautiful. The various maps that you can teleport too are also graphically impressive. The same goes for any living creature. The variety of weapons is awesome. The stats are addictive and fun to upgrade. The sound design is great- like your shield being hit or the the rattling of enemy armour, or even the sound of miners hitting rock or metal with their pickaxes. The filter and photo mode options are great to have.

    things that could have been improved: lip-sync seemed exaggerated and therefore unrealistic despite seeming correct. The lock on range was not great, but then, weirdly, for the dragon (which surprised me), it worked from very far away, so clearly the devs have allowed an exception once you go to the stairs near it, which was a good thing to do, and I wish they had found a way to improve the lock on feature at all times not just in that scenario. The game would often lock-on late, which handicaps the gameplay of spell caster for example. Also, i am craving for more lore/story... Finally, I personally didn't understand the need of having human and soul forms in the game. A better explanation of what they are might have justified its presence in-game to me.

    In conclusion: I have no major complaints about the game. One of the best true next gen. titles alongside horizon FW, spider man MM, Ghostwire Tokyo, and God of war Ragnarok, at least graphically. The gamepplay is addictive, focused, cohesive, and liberating/allows for creativity at the same time. The fantasy/dark ages theme is well implemented. The first map is a massive, gorgeous castle guarded by two dragons, a huge knight boss, and countless other knights and zombies, and then you return to the nexus which is like a church safe haven, which is peaceful yet haunting, reminding you of the dystopian world that awaits outside.     Despite everything I had heard about Demon Souls, it is just another video game. The live, die, repeat mechanic is no different from Super Mario Brothers. back in the 1980s. Demon Souls is in fact a lat easier than I was led to believe because the player has complete freedom to collect upgrades and improve their survivability between attempts to progress. What bothers me is that the process of grinding for power is not much fun. My personally philosophy is that games should be fun from start to finish. Demon Souls fails at that.

    The game opens with an exquisite medieval environment and enemies. Then as the game progresses, everything becomes stranger. The monsters are cool. Like with most games, it is the humans that are the hardest to fight. Some monsters do little more than take you sword stabs and die. An enemy knight, on the other hand, will ruthlessly stab you to death. The bosses are mixed bag. All of them are interesting. They remind me a lot of the bosses in “Ninja Gaiden” on the original Xbox. I defeated the first three bosses in Demon Souls without dying. Maybe its my lifetime of playing these games and dealing with these boss mechanics and “cheesing” bosses, but hit an run works very well in Demon Souls. Some bosses are a nightmare. I have yet to defeat one called Maneater and I am not sure I ever will. (Nevermind, I beat Maneater and all the bosses. Difficult, not impossible). Then again, I never thought I would ever start playing Demon Souls, and here I am.

    The mechanics of the game are well done and it feels good to play. The shield blocks and the sword hits. What more does a player need? The circle button is used for rolling and dodging. This button combo has been seared into my muscle memory since “Ninja Gaiden” on the original Xbox. I would love if “Skyrim” played like this or if “The Witcher 3” had shields). Most enemies telegraph their attacks. For most of the game, you can feel safe knowing that a cautious approach will get you through without dying.

    This remake is a gorgeous graphical showcase. You won’t find ray traced reflections in this dark world. What makes the world alive is the detail of the environment, characters, and animations. Few launch titles are this polished and hold up this well.

    Full disclosure: I downloaded this from my PS+ Extra collection. I am not risking $70 on this game. Maybe I’ll get tired of grinding souls. Maybe I’ll delete this to make space for another PS+ game. (Never mind. I completed the game in 34 hours. I am ready for a new game experience now!)    … Expand

    I won't do any spoilers. I'm surprised with the quality of all animations and assets and how well they all perform together. I bet SONY has sent some ps5 engineers to make performance improvements in the game behaviours because the results are insane.     on the PS5 it looks very-very good

    Demons Souls is a great game. Despite all the problems and outdated mechanics. The bosses are very simple, maybe the experience speaks for itself. Locations are mega interesting and quite complex. The graphics are just great and the sound that just elevates this game in my eyes. I advise everyone

    Gorgeous remake, really a treat for anyone who played the original back in the day. One of if not the best game remakes I've played. The combat still feels a little bit dated at times, which is not surprising, but nothing that takes away from the experience.

    Excellent remake, but I wish they had changed the whole world tendency system and the sudden difficulty jump to ng+ where a minor enemy kills you in 2 hits. Still excellent game technically.

    It's so good. I just wish they would have made a few more quality of life updates like the rolling mechanic and the whole world. Black and white tendency shift is annoying. Pretty much stopped me from getting the platinum. Too much to keep up with to figure out what you need for every item

    Really polished, classic RPG fun. Loved reliving memories of playing this on my PS3 but now in high definition glory but the game has aged to a relatively simple title given From Software's stellar works in recent times. Worth the time if you're a fan of the franchise or need some exclusives for the ps5, but if you weren't a fan of Dark Souls, you won't find much new here.

    Fantastic remake of the game that started the whole SoulsBorne genre.
    Not the best game in the series in my opinion but a must play nonetheless.
    Great atmosphere and level design, chunky and sweet combat, lot's of secrets and interesting mechanics to deep dive into.
    The bosses might feel lacking if you play this after the best bosses of Sekiro or Bloodborne though.

    I was so ready to give up on this, the frustration was unbelivable. Played through all the other souls games, but this one was special. Even uninstalled it and thought about selling it for a while. But then I gave it a new try, and o boy what a ride. So worth it. If you struggle, dont give up. It will click eventually, and it will be awsome.

    Just an incredible piece of gameplay. One of the rare games that teaches you how to learn from your mistake. if you work hard and smart enough - you can get through it. Love the feeling of satisfaction the game gives once you beat it. And definitely a splendid graphics work from bluepoint games. Just awesome!

So essentially if your good enough you can make it through levels and not take damage but getting that good at the game would probably take a very long time. Overall it's a great game and it's fun to have some challenging games out there as these days you just don't get them. Even the hardest difficulty on allot of games these days is the equivalent of normal mode in most classic games. I also hate the fact with modern games you can skip missions or it constantly tells you what to do. You'll be doing a puzzle and your character will blurt out what to do next. It removes the hole point in gaming. Why play a game if you're gonna skip puzzles or have the game tell you how to do everything. It removes the feeling of achievement and this is what you get when you spend ages improving and then finally best a level or the complete souls game.    … Expand

Some people here are saying they "don't think the game improved", "the boss re-designs are looking worse than the original" and "the changes don't justify this remake". I can't believe they played this game the worlds look stunning! All the detail they added, just compare it side to side to the original. Every boss now looks like a real terrifying monster not just like a blurred stain, actually I think even the boss design of false King Allant improved (the more non demonic, pure design matches his idealised view of himself better - the true King is as "ugly" as ever). The only thing that could be better is the voice of the true king, in the original game it sounded more like the rotten demon he is than just an old man like in the remake. Don't complain about the gameplay, the AI is the absolute same why should it play different then? I feel Bluepoint put a lot of love and effort in this to make it a visual and proper early PS5 game.… Expand

    I can't get over how much passion has been poured into the development of the Demon's Souls, visually it is so impressive, and whilst someone who thought that the bosses lacked complexity I still wouldn't change a thing, especially with the final boss.

The other time a Boss flies over your head and you have to wait until he is in range for you. Even then you can randomly miss him. Yea...fun...15 minutes hit or miss fight...as said, those two are not the only ones designed like this. Most of the bosses are easy and/or gimmicky. Those who aren't are very fun though.

    If you are a souls-fan anyway and/or want to see the roots of the game franchise you should pick this up. Otherwise I would rather buy Elden Ring, Dark Souls 3, Sekiro. Especially because you get more game for your money. Demon's Souls is quite short, compared to those three games previously mentioned.    … Expand

    It’s a perfect remake and I think the only people who might be disappointed with it are… the die-hard FromSoftware fans. You see, the new Demon’s Souls shows clearly how much Miyazaki’s games have evolved throughout the years. The Dark Souls series simply does everything better.     Overall, Demon’s Souls is still the most interesting and varied game in the Souls series. This remake not only looks lovely on the PlayStation 5 but is also a joy to play with all the tweaks and improvements that have been introduced. Now if only people would look past its supposed difficulty and see its carefully crafted intricacy instead.

    I went in expecting the world out of the Demon’s Souls remake and it delivered me the galaxy. I don’t normally speak this highly of games, but this is the one exception. Absolutely every facet of the original has been enhanced and it has stood the test of time. Bluepoint has done an incredible job at not only reinvigorating an underappreciated gem, but also leveraging the new technologies afforded to them with Sony’s new system. While there are a couple of minor technical blemishes, they don’t take away from how good of an experience this game is and Bluepoint’s diligence as a developer will surely see these kinks ironed out. This game is a system seller.
