    After a years worth of hot fixes and major updates Cyberpunk is finally the game we wanted. You are doing yourself a disservice by not giving it a second chance.

    I waited for this game’s release so anxiously.. then delayed playing due to the problems. Started only now, when it has been patched multiple times. About 80 hours into the game.

    I have played games a lot since the 80’s and Cyberpunk 2077 is an utter MASTERPIECE. The world, the characters, the stories.. For the first time ever I think I’m in love with a game character. I’m obsessed with    I waited for this game’s release so anxiously.. then delayed playing due to the problems. Started only now, when it has been patched multiple times. About 80 hours into the game.

    This game features one of the most stunning and densely packed worlds I've ever experienced. The game is well tuned on PlayStation 5, making excellent use of the dualsense's adaptive triggers and speaker. Graphics are generally stunning, with high frame rates throughout. Regarding the well publicized bug issues from the previous generation hardware, CDprojekt Red seem to have ironed outThis game features one of the most stunning and densely packed worlds I've ever experienced. Regarding the well publicized bug issues from the previous generation hardware, CDprojekt Red seem to have ironed out most of the issues for PS5. In 39 hours of game time I have only experienced two crashes, fewer than Skyrim even to this day. If you are a fan of cyberpunk aesthetics, sci-fi or RPGs in general, I highly recommend this game.… Expand

    Fantastic action RPG in the vein of the Fallout series. I have sunk hours into the game already and barely scratched the surface.

    Giving a 10 as it had so many kinks to iron out originally, but the patches have addressed almost all of these and the PS5 upgrade was FREE too

    Well this trully is a masterpiece. Atmosphere of the game is so intense, story is just one of the best if not the best from all videogames. Characters have great chemistry, especially V and Silverhand (kudos to Keanu for giving us such a badass character, youre not Neo or Wick, Youre fkin JohnnySilverhand!). I got shivers just from thinking about how great of a game this is. Its trully aWell this trully is a masterpiece.     CYBERPUNK is the real deal now!!! I played this on my PSPro and it was not good. I finished the game because it was incredible but I knew it could be a much better. WOW....you need to reply and see this on the PS5...I can't believe it. CDPR did it and it took a lot of work to get this game to play like this. I was giving 30 minutes just to see it again.....now i need to play the entireCYBERPUNK is the real deal now!!! I played this on my PSPro and it was not good.     Came to Cyberpunk post 1.61 patch -- can't speak to the manifold performance issues on this or other consoles (though the game still has plenty of bugs, they are fewer and far-between than your average Bethesda product, or Witcher III for that matter...) -- and it's an absolutely fantastic experience. It wears its influences on its sleeve, but what a stellar slate of influences: GrandCame to Cyberpunk post 1.61 patch -- can't speak to the manifold performance issues on this or other consoles (though the game still has plenty of bugs, they are fewer and far-between than your average Bethesda product, or Witcher III for that matter...) -- and it's an absolutely fantastic experience. It wears its influences on its sleeve, but what a stellar slate of influences: Grand Theft Auto, Fallout 3/4, Dishonoured, Blade Runner, Necromancer, and so on. Cyberpunk crafts a complex and intricate futuristic world, complete with believable slang, outfits, weapons, and music, while steering the player through a riveting story of gross corporate malfeasance, populist rebellion, and our biological integration with sophisticated technology. Clearly the game should have stayed in the oven far longer than it did, but that's more the fault of short-sighted C-suite execs and investors than the creative team behind this masterpiece. In its current shape, Cyberpunk 2077 is one of the best games I've played in years.… Expand

    I waited for the next gen update and the game is really good at this point. In my opinion the game is best played with the performance mode where it runs really smooth and looks great.

    I’m playing the latest patch 1.52 on PS5 and this game is a vastly improved from when it first launched. The PS5 version supports haptic feedback. Plus there are very few bugs and almost no crashes.

    This game runs like a dream next-gen. The story is impressive. The world is alive. This is what cyberpunk was meant to be. And it delivers.... finally.

    Cyberpunk 2077 with patch 1.61 on ps5 is now much better and ray tracing mode is very good on next gen consoles

    I was hooked to the story from the beginning till the end. Therefore, I consider this a great game. I played version 1.52 on PS5 in PSVR cinematic mode on the biggest virtual screen. Before the latest PS5 software update I had issues with the sound, but that got fixed after the latest PS5 update. I experienced very few bugs (NPCs standing in the air, cars flipped upside down, some weirdI was hooked to the story from the beginning till the end. Therefore, I consider this a great game. I played version 1.52 on PS5 in PSVR cinematic mode on the biggest virtual screen. Before the latest PS5 software update I had issues with the sound, but that got fixed after the latest PS5 update. I experienced very few bugs (NPCs standing in the air, cars flipped upside down, some weird physics), but nothing game breaking or too distracting.

    I suppose people who liked the witcher 3 because of the way the story was told, and who are interested in a dystopian, sci-fi, cyberpunk world, and who put story over gameplay will enjoy it.

    I really liked the atmosphere of the world, I enjoyed the story and most of the side missions. I liked the voice acting, and the sound design. Though, I recall one side mission where the music was a bit annoying. Overall I was very positively surprised and would agree with the mostly positive reception by critics. Maybe all the negativity surrounding the game tempered my expectations. Anyway, I would love CD Project Red to release a PSVR2 version, even if it is just the most minimal adaptation with game pad control, just to walk through the world once more.

    Though, there are many things to criticise. Indoor graphics and graphics in confined areas look really good, but outdoor graphics felt often underwhelming to me. Also, cars disappear to nowhere in a rather visible way. The NPCs create a good enough backdrop but react rather unnatural to the player, and albeit offering the possibility for conversations, not a single conversation unrolls, if I recall correctly. Other games did better. The gameplay is not very challenging. In particular stealth felt a bit too easy, whereat "all guns blazing" felt a bit too punishing at times (single hit kills), but maybe that was due to my character build. In terms of character development, there are a few perks I would consider essential. The majority, however, did not seem very relevant. All in all unlocking perks did not feel too rewarding. Also, I don't think that there is any new game mechanics. As many people pointed out, most of the dialogue choices do not seem to matter. On one hand this is disappointing, on the other hand I was not very fond of seemingly, harmless dialogue choices in the witcher 3 at the very beginning, which severely impacted the story. In the end there is one story in particular, the author wants to tell. So, it makes sense to "force" the player on that particular path. There were a few dialogue choices which would reveal some extra information helpful for a mission. Maybe some of the choices would unlock information which are impossible to come by in a different way. I might have missed those. Maybe, I did not understand how to really play the game, but the game did a poor job to guide me through the missions i.e. discovering side missions and choosing side missions felt most of time unnatural. All in all there is a lot to criticise, but I was still hooked from the beginning till the end. I very much enjoyed the story (including side missions) and was not too bothered by all the issues.    … Expand

"Theres nothing to do in the open world" clearly anyone saying that absolute objectively false nonsense has never explored the game. Hidden things everywhere to discover. Are you expecting little novelty minigames and random encounters like you get in rdr2, that get stale after doing them once? The game is packed full of content and unique side quests. Little babies need to get over the fact that they over hyped the game in their own heads. Everything that was "promised" is in the game.… Expand

The PS5 version is good enough that you can focus on all the highs like story, action, environment and immersion, instead of bugs and crashing. If you haven’t played, now is absolutely the time.     Cyberpunk is one of the best games I've ever played (and played a lot of them). PS5 version gives such a memorable experience. Combat, story, graphics, art direction, Johnny Silverhand, outstanding side quests - almost everything is perfect in this game! I can't wait to see what's coming in DLCs.

    And to CD Project Red - you've created a legendary game. I can't thank you enough for this jewel!

    a great game. I am insanely glad that cyberpunk 2077 has found its best look and I was able to appreciate it. the emotions that the game gave me in the next gen version are hard for me to describe in words. CDPR you are amazing ! I really hope that you will resume work in Russia soon

    Loved this game.. definitely recommend people try it now that it's fixed. I don't know about the PS4 and Xbox one versions though but the Ps5 worked fine for me.

    My respect for CDPR just skyrocketed! They just announced that they will no longer be selling any of their games in Russia or Belarus. This move right here, plus the most recent next-gen update, definitely restored a HUGE amount of love I once had for this company.

    This game is just wow... storyline, atmosphere, music (!!!), graphics! I loved it. I bought ps5 version just recently, had no performance issues neither any bugs. Worked perfectly fine!
    I feel sorry for those who bought this game at the very beginning and was disappointed by it's quality at the release. Now this game's just awesome!

    It is all I really wanted the game to be. Great graphics. I love the story and combat. I am proud of what CD Project Red team did in the past year against all the bad management and harsh but rightful criticism form the community. The Game should have been like this day one, but at last it is here for us to enjoy.

    Mit Update 1.5 für die PS5, ist das Spiel technisch auf dieser Plattform so wie es sein soll. Sehr belebte Straßen und sehr wenige Bugs. Story, Quests und Atmosphäre einfach nur genial! Ich bin so froh gewartet zu haben. Ein Musst Play in meinen Augen.

In action RPG game they managed to make driving better than in any Ubisoft game to date. I don’t even know why people compare these two games, but I’d choose Cyberpunk over GTA any day.     لعبة ممتعة والتحديثات الأخيرة حسنت اللعبة وأصلحت مشاكل كثيرة لكن بعض المشاكل من أساس اللعبة مثل القصة ففيها استعجال مثل موت جاكي فموته مبكر جدا
    اللبعة قدمت خيارات ليست في القصة فقط بل في البداية من 3 خيارات وباختيار مسار معين قد ترى بعض الخيارات التي لن تراها في المسارات الأخرى
    لكن هذه الخيارات ينقصها العمق فالمفترض أن تكون المسارات تختلف في نظام اللعب وتؤثر في القصة بشكل كبير تم تطوير    لعبة ممتعة والتحديثات الأخيرة حسنت اللعبة وأصلحت مشاكل كثيرة لكن بعض المشاكل من أساس اللعبة مثل القصة ففيها استعجال مثل موت جاكي فموته مبكر جدا

    I bought the ps4 version of the game at 9.90 euros telling me that I was going to do it on ps5 when the update comes out. I launched the game to make my own opinion and what to say that it is one of the best games I have made.
    The first mission took me directly into the atmosphere of the game. The game is beautiful, a lot of things to do. Thank you CD projekt for this game.

    I was extremely disappointed and angry when I played this game on my PS4 Pro on the first release day. The game was broken and looked awful. Even so, the plot and characters were amazing and I finished the story that was undeniably breathtaking. Now with this update, we finally got the game just the way we should have back then... I do recommend you to pick this version of the game and support the company, it's is really worth it. Nobody in the modern gaming industry can provide you with such amazing characters (female characters in particular - in this game they are cool, stylish and beautiful just like in old days), an amazing plot with great twists, and an immersive world that you begin to believe is real when playing. The game is a masterpiece and finally, it has this level of quality that we deserve.… Expand

Its such a shame that it might receive only one big DLC and nothing else, just because of this hype ruin.     The update 1.5 has completely redeemed this game. The game runs great and is gorgeous now. (If you're on "next gen") it's 100,000,000% worth the buy now. I'm hooked on this game, and loving it like a wanted to so badly a year ago.

    After Next Gen update it's a stunning masterpiece! Loved the gameplay, storytelling and characters. Yes, it's still a little big buggy, but in my opinion I enjoined it as a continue excitement of my senses. Loved everything, atmosphere is perfectly immersive as the original '80s RPG.

    I just played this for the first time. The new PS5 version. And all I have to say is this game is dope as hell. 10/10, easily. Absolutely love it.

    One of the best singleplayer games I've ever played. Most of the side quest are really entertaining and interesting. The main story felt a little short but was still great. I wish night city had more to do other than the gigs and quests for example there's a one time shooting range quest and a one time racing quest, at least make them replayable. The story is fascinating to say the least, the character build-up and the thrill never ends. To me, this is the first game I ever play from CD Project Red. Because of it, I am a fan.

    People might say "Have you played the Witcher? this is garbage compared to it". But that's not the point here, this is a different environment. I've done things in this game I never thought I would in any game. It really opened my mind about how complicated a game can be. The endless possibilities that leads to different outcomes is just so exciting to me.

    I feel like this masterpiece has been overlooked, tarnished by the early release that was infested with bugs. It's not the same now, I did experience bugs from time to time, but it is tolerable. And the game is worth your time.

    I've already played the PS4 Version but the PS5 Version is really a big improvement which makes this awesome game even better. Don't listen to all those raging kids. Play the demo and see for yourself how great the world, characters, gunplay and especially the story is.     Jestem chyba jednym z nielicznych graczy, który jest zachwycony i cieszy się, że ta gra powstała. Błędy są, problemy są, ale reszta to wspaniały świat, świetna fabuła, postacie, strzelanie. Życzę CD Projekt Red, aby wyciągnęli wnioski z błędów i nie poddali się potknięciom. Czasem tak się zdarza, ważne że walczycie do końca i nie porzuciliśmy projektu.

    The game is amazing. Played for first time with patch 1.5 and its easily 8 or 9 out of 10. I feel bad for CDPR, they put a lot of work into this. Just didn't live up to expectations - but my word, its still an incredible experience. Up there with the best games ever.

    Great game with a really great story and different ways to tread it. You want to explore the icy world and always find something new. The side missions are varied and partly funny. The loading times on the PS5 are insane (positively meant). Graphically a highlight and buttery soft thanks to 60fps.

    Cyberpunk 2077 has been an awesome experience. The update to graphics has created more immersion than i've felt in awhile for a video game. I was struck with awe just looking around Night City for the first 10 hours. While not all bugs removed, there's been a substantial reduction, enough that it has been a non-issue for me. Balances to combat have been improved (you could be OP in SkyrimCyberpunk 2077 has been an awesome experience. The update to graphics has created more immersion than i've felt in awhile for a video game. I was struck with awe just looking around Night City for the first 10 hours. The AI kept flanking me one mission (and even discussing it) leading me to get mowed down several times until I realized I had to keep moving.

    I think people underestimate how challenging creating these types of games are and need to get a grip. Witcher 1 was nothing like Witcher 3, and they have laid the groundwork for several more games in my opinion.    … Expand

    Off the top of my head I can’t think of another game with a backstory like Cyberpunk 2077. It’s fortunate that CDPR were able to spend the last year-plus continuing development of the game, listening to feedback, adding content, and fixing tons and tons of issues. Many games would simply not have gotten the extra time and money spent that Cyberpunk got, but this time CDPR got it right. Now is the right time to play this game; I’m not saying it’s flawless and perfect, but it’s nearly so, for such an elaborate, massive game. This is the game we were hoping for back in December 2020, but I’m reminded of the adage ‘better late than never.’ And that certainly applies here.

    Despite significant technical and in-play improvements for this PS5 version, much of the game’s core remains unchanged. Quest design and storytelling, though not without their moments on the critical path, too often feel rife with unrealised potential. Cyberpunk 2077’s abrasive personality is still clear as day too, inescapable in its script and blaring out from Night City’s many questionable billboards. If you choose to venture into Night City, we hope you find what you’re looking for. [Issue#12, p.72]

    Despite its mismanaged launch, Cyberpunk is a success story. What began in December 2020 as an incomplete, often-unplayable sore spot for CD Projekt has become one of the most immersive RPGs I’ve ever played – one whose visuals, soundtrack, and narrative can go toe to toe with the strongest in the genre. Despite Cyberpunk’s technical headaches, I’ve enjoyed more than 40 hours in it and don’t see myself losing interest in its rich world or side content anytime soon. Cyberpunk’s botched beginnings warranted the scorn players treated it with, but if patch 1.5 is any indication, Night City’s future looks bright.
