    Compelling in every way. Amazing game, great storyline, nice graphics, great atmosphere and fun gameplay. With all the updates it's definitely worth it.

    Night City is single handed the best most expansive lively colorful video game city ever. Everywhere I go I feel like a tourist in the game. I finished the story and every now and then I come back to ride through the sprawling buildings and advertisement littered streets. My biggest recommendation with this game is to watch Cyberpunk Edgerunners the anime. After watching the anime and going on David’s journey, that anime is really a solid toucher. Heart wrencher. So many ups and downs and after watching edgerunners, I found a whole new appreciation for the world in the game. (I played the game after I watched the anime). Going through V’s life and making those experiences are so much more enthralling knowing that canon to the world, David once upon a time in that same city made a name for his self. Now your V standing in that same city and actually being successful. Story is amazing. Gameplay could’ve used a tad bit more tuning but still I loved it. Graphics are stunning and the lighting is amazing, runs at 1440p 60 fps I believe on the ps5 with far 2. Pretty good image, I’d say it looks excellent most of the times be sometimes I wonder if it would look better with a slightly sharper image… Expand

    Bad balancing, not good story, sidequests are all just short conversations with no choises, Lifepath means nothing both only 1 Quest. A shame that Game.

    لعبة ممتعة والتحديثات الأخيرة حسنت اللعبة وأصلحت مشاكل كثيرة لكن بعض المشاكل من أساس اللعبة مثل القصة ففيها استعجال مثل موت جاكي فموته مبكر جدا
    اللبعة قدمت خيارات ليست في القصة فقط بل في البداية من 3 خيارات وباختيار مسار معين قد ترى بعض الخيارات التي لن تراها في المسارات الأخرى

    I liked the game. I loved that they give experience for everything you use, it is nice and enjoyable. The story is interesting and all endings are pretty good. The variability of builds is big so you can wield katana + shotgun and destroy everything. There are a lot of perks so it was really hard to choose a build. I didn't like that you can respec perks but not the main characteristics

    It's great game with amazing graphics, characters, music, combat, ABSOLUTELY BONKERS giant city to explore, it's so complex and fun and engrossing! I can't wait for more content!

    Great game, still with a few minor bugs but they don't affect the gameplay. The setting is wonderful, full of details and very accurate, the 1st person view allows you to really immerse in Night City and that's absolutely the best part.     Just to be clear the date of this review is 18.07.2023. There have been major bugfixes since the start of the game and I cannot and will not comment on the state this game was in before since I have only heard stories or saw memes on Youtube.

    As for the elephant in the room: yeah a lot of bugs still exist and the game still crashes every once in a while. You will get run over by your own car, when you call it, more times than you can count and once the traffic despawns you can assume a crash within the next 20-30 seconds but since the game autosaves every 60 sec you will not lose much progress. Other than that within 74h of playtime I cannot remember anything that has negatively affected my progress or stopped me from getting the platinum trophy.

    The story and acting is great. The main and side charakters have all decent character arcs and Keanu has done a terrific job playing an absolutely despicable character who eventually turns into an actual human being tho' I cannot comment further on that without spoiling the story. Side characters are also great and it is absolutely worth playing the side missions just for their arcs.

    Gameplay is a 10/10, although I can only speak for an early stealth and late game AoE-Netrunner Spec. The latter spec has something extremely satisfying when you can wipe out entire rooms within seconds or do extremely high single-target hits that even take 30% hp off the final boss. I think weapon-based specs do significantly worse but since respeccing is limited to percs I cannot comment on the full potential of those specs. I would not recommend playing it like a shooter as there a many other fun tools for more creative specs but if that is your thing, go for it.

    PS5 version ended up being a pretty good and unique experience. One of the best looking games and a lot of different ways to approach the combat and determine your playstyle. The main story is pretty good. Side missions are hit and miss and mostly repetitive smash and grab but a few memorable ones, especially for your allies.     Despite the amount of patches that CDPR dropped lately, its really infuriating to run into several amount of crashes whenever I engage in close combat or while playing some missions.     it was not that bad like the score is right now, it is true have bugs but his world was amazing I talk about the secondary missions that made the word more rich and expands his universe give it a try, his history will not change your mind but it is good too.

    I think right now Cyberpunk 2077 is a really nice game that delivers excellent graphics, smooth gameplay and interesting RPG mechanics. At release, it was a whole different story but right now in 2023, Cyberpunk 2077 is certainly a better than average game.
    Just don’t expect The Witcher 3 level of quality and you should appreciate Cyberpunk 2077 for what it is.     Just don’t expect The Witcher 3 level of quality and you should appreciate Cyberpunk 2077 for what it is. For me, this is a 8,4/10 game and one of the best I played recently. My playthrough lasted a little more than 65 hours and I did a lot of side content. In fact, most of the side content is well done. If you just rush through the main story, you’re missing a lot of stuff!
    In terms of difficulty, you should be fin on normal or hard if you’re an average skilled adult and busy gamer like me. Here are some pros and cons for this game:

    Pros:
    • Sound effects are top-notch! If you have a good headset, you will hear an incredible number of details in the sound, especially in night-club environments

    • The RPG mechanics are good. There are a lot of different ways you can complete missions depending on your playstyle

    • Graphics are high-level. Night City is one of the best settings ever in a videogame.

    Cons:
    • There are pacing problems, especially for tutorial matters. At the beginning, the game throws you everything at the same time !

    • The story is just ok, nothing bad, nothing amazing

    • The replay value is limited if you want to respec. It’s not possible to redistribute some type of points in your skill tree

    Overall, a great game and I’m sure the DLC will be amazing ! CDPR worked really hard to save this franchise and they succeed !    … Expand

    One of the best RPG games I've ever played. I was never on the initial hype train for this game, but knew of the horrible launch. My play through has been a great experience and quite smooth. There are some small movement bugs from NPC's, but that is everything I encountered so far.

    Night city is visibly stunning and very creatively created. I love the story of the game and of most side missions. The gigs can become quite repetitive, but are a solid addition. The skill three is great and makes that you can play different builds. It also impacts the game in small details which really makes it feel like a RPG. Also the cyberware is a great feature which can enhance your build and play style. all the important NPC's are great characters with a lot of personality. The static NPC's are a bit lifeless, some could have more voice lines or movement tbh.

    Got the game after most bugs were ironed out (however there are still a few minor ones). A lot of effort went into making it and you will have great experience. It’s quite long though, took me about 130 hours to complete (including all gigs, side quests and main story). Would definitely recommend. Story is great too.

    Cyberpunk 2077 is a fun a great experience at launch it had it's issues but most of not all are fixed. That game looks amazing on current gen hardware. A must play dystopian Syfy almost GTA like game.

    CD Project Red великі молодці,що так витягнули гру!(більшість розуміє,чому вони іі випустили не такою,як очікувалось) Вибив платину на пс5 і ставлю 9/10 цій грі Сюжет дуже крутий,картинка гарна,механіка зброї також! Персонажі цікаві і кожен запамʼятовується,бо історія кожного - продумана і прописана ідеально! Більше б таких ігор!    Пройшов гру до патчів і тепер,після останнього патчу:)

    Bought it after watching edgerunners and I loved all of it thoroughly. Everything about it from story, to characters, to the world, to the graphics and game play are all amazing. I went on to play through it twice and platinum it, can't wait for the expansion.

    I know this game was half cooked at best when it first launched but happy to say that my experience with this game was surprisingly pretty good. Great story, fun gameplay and performs pretty well.     There's plenty to do in Night City with many quests and sides gigs to do to keep you occupied. The side gigs are quite repetitive and monotonous and offer nothing expect a means to level up your character. However, level design, voice acting and just general vibe of the game is its saving grace for me. Truly unique, fun to play just the odd spanner in the works that sets it back to be something more rememberable.    … Expand

    After the disastrous release in 2020 that was Cyberpunk due to its botched 8th-Gen version, not many people cared when the 9th gen version released in February last year, and the many glitches that has in the PS4 version, are now blacked out in the PS5 version thankfully but because it’s a FPS game, I see that the POV has gotten completely stale.     I tried it after patch 1.61 and DLSS 3 update, I can definitely say that this game has finally reached BETA 2 years after its release. I can't believe how they waste this pure potential. What a pity.

    After hours of playing i got a bug where i cannot use my items or draw weapons, i tried to go back to an earlier save point, but it doesn't work, so the only thing i can do now is to start a new game, or the best option is to delete the game, and this is what I will do Don't lose your time and money on this    Cyberglitch....

No eating animation? The game has the potential to be a 10/10, but too much missing.

    While there are many negative things to point out, Night city's charm makes me forget the problems it has. There is no place i'd rather be than in this game, in a car, listening to the radio. I give this game an 88/100.    … Expand

    This is a big, beautiful open-world game with a lot to like, but also a lot to hate. The main story is novel and has its moments, but the terrible save system, terrible city driving, forced walking scenes , forced waiting between missions, repetitive quantity-over-quality filler, bullet-sponge bosses, and drawn out ending result in a bad aftertaste.

The main story is novel and has its moments, but the terrible save system, terrible city driving, forced walking scenes , forced waiting between missions, repetitive quantity-over-quality filler, bullet-sponge bosses, and drawn out ending result in a bad aftertaste.

    There are still multiple bugs that required me to reload a save to continue or in one case, reload the game. Even little things annoy like the inconsistent button to select/continue (sometimes X, sometimes square, sometimes hold a button). While there is a lot of RPG aspects, it is held back by level-gating items and weird enemy levels, and feels more like a mediocre looter-shooter.

    I played the main quest and a few side quests totaling a little more than 20 hours. I'm glad I borrowed this from the library and while it is playable and interesting, I cannot recommend it.    … Expand

    Minor spoilers about the plot. If you do not wish for any spoilers just skip the story segment in this review.

    Cyberpunk 2077 is a game that has great potential to be an amazing game but fails do to its shortcomings. I had a good time roaming around Night City completing various gigs and side quests but the game still feels far from what was promised from CDPR. I’ll be going over the story and what it’s about without going into spoilers as well as the positives and the negatives of this game in this review. Note I will be referring to the main protagonist V as He/Him since I chose the male option.

    The Story:
    The story although not the best is still a great tale to experience. The tale follows the main protagonist named V who is a mercenary following a job gets stuck with a chip which holds the consciousness of a rockerboy from the 2020’s named Johnny Silverhand (played by the legendary Keanu Reeves) the chip is slowly rewriting V’s mind to that of Johnny which will give Johnny control over V’s body actively killing V so V and Johnny work together to find a way to remove the chip without killing him to save V’s life

    Positives:
    The story while no where near the best is still a pretty rock solid tale to experience. The city you explore is highly dense and feels like a real city. Side quests are some of the best I’ve seen in any videogame and hardly any of them feel like filler. Combat and gameplay as a whole is absolutely fantastic allowing multiple options for players to how they want to approach an encounter, whether be guns blazing, sneaking around and taking people out silently, or even hacking your way through which is even expanded more with cyberwear you can buy from a ripperdoc using the in game currency. The lore of Cyberpunk 2077 is vastly rich and intriguing which lore junkies such as myself absolutely enjoy. The Characters in this game feel like real people whether it’s from major characters like Johnny Silverhand (played by the legendary Keanu Reeves) or smaller characters that you meet briefly which is all complemented more by the wonderful performances all the voice actors give. Player choice actually feels like it matter in this game cause you can suffer some serious consequences like characters dying do to your choices to smaller stuff like whether you are straight, bi, or gay. You can even make your character trans when you first create them. I won’t go into any further detail cause it truly is something you will have experience for yourself and note some of these choices are difficult. Upgrading is highly important in Cyberpunk allowing you to choose what your strengths and weaknesses are. You can’t unlock all skills and attributes forcing the player to carefully choose what upgrades fits their play style most. Negatives:
    Even after 2 years of huge patches the game is extremely buggy ranging from gameplay like cyber wear not working causing me to die in combat as it affects my play style to visual bugs like low poly textures and pop in and pop out as well as weird shimmering and bad lighting making it hard to see while driving in the badlands in first person. The game is so buggy still that I experienced multiple crashes throughout my play through. Even tho it is far more playable it still needs more years of work to fix this game. Another downside to this game is the police system which is hardly a thing since all you have to do is drive off or just simply run away and you’ll lose them which feels extremely lack luster since the police are supposed to be depicted as aggressive and relentless. Continuing relationships you make is another big problem as when you explore the and come across various side quests you make friendships and even romantic relationships that kind of just hit a brick wall after completing various storylines. The most you can do with them is call them or visit them and exchange the same dialogue over and over again. They can easily expand on this simply by asking if they want to hang out and you could have a buddy with you as you explore the world or even with romantic relationships you can them explore with you or even invite them to bed.

    Take Away:
    Even those Cyberpunk is a incredible game and I absolutely had a blast playing it there are still major problems with the game that still need to be fixed leaving me no choice but to give it a 6/10.    … Expand

    I have beaten this game 6 times and had a different experience each time. Player builds, life paths and alternate endings all provide you with a ton of choice and variety. Playing on hard and getting the legendary ending without losing anyone was the cherry on top. This game is tremendous and I highly recommend it. Can't wait for the sequel!

The gameplay and possible builds make it very enjoyable for different tastes. The character customization options (including outfits) were great.

Clearly the game should have stayed in the oven far longer than it did, but that's more the fault of short-sighted C-suite execs and investors than the creative team behind this masterpiece. The loot, setting, traversal, characters, skills, and just the game itself. I made 3 characters and played them completely differently simultaneously. I put 200 hours into this game in a month.

    Gameplay: Reminds me of GTA with doom perspective in a dystopian future setting with loot from borderlands on steroids and the best parts of fall out games and item finding from Skyrim. First person GTA with doom and borderlands as it’s influencers with a sprinkle of Bethesda looting. It just clicked with me and got me so addicted. Soundtrack: It is a playlist on my YouTube music. Audio: The guns, voice acting, and noises around the city and all top tier. Visuals: I loved the graphics and had little to no pop in after the 1.6 patch.

    Story: It had me hooked but also not in any hurry because the side missions felt like the story also. All the missions seemed equally relevant and important. I took the game slow and with the mentality of trying to immerse myself in the setting and appreciate what it was as a whole package. They could have abandoned this game at launch. I’m grateful I waited until it was fully patched to give it an objective experience.    … Expand

    After 2 years, I gave Cyberpunk another chance. This time on PS5. And I so am glad I did. This was a fantastic game with a superb story. I was honestly blown away. Though there is till tons of bugs, it is in a far better state than at launch. Farrrr better. CD Project Red are a very very talented, they just need to take their time in creating their art. I'll give this a strong 8.5/10

    The city is awsome. Most of the sidequests are fun and interresting.
    Main story is great and feels new.
    There are still a few bugs, but only small ones.

The story really is captivating, everything works smooth, looks absolutely stunning… I caught myself playing six or seven hours and thinking „where has the time gone?!“. That‘s what I missed about gaming in recent years.

    I have just completed one site mission, which was fun too. However the main story is so interesting and the missions are so much fun, I almost can‘t stop playing. The balancing is much better than I remember. To cut it short, everything is so much better and really feels immersive now. As much as we would have expected from the studio that gave us The Witcher 3.
    You can dive into the world and build your own character in endless ways and combinations. I remember that I swore to myself I would never touch that game again and now I‘m happy I did… I still give it a 9 because I noticed some (mostly really minor) bugs, like a car that appeared in front of me when I turned around, but that‘s a „bug level“ I can deal with. Also, the game crashed once. But that‘s it.

    It really improved a lot and makes fun. I mean I heard a lot of bad comments but in its current status it only has the minor bugged like all other games. Which doesn’t even cause that much trouble like those unreliable comparisons. The style is really what I like . Music for every taste. I’m usually a PC gamer but I played it on PS 5 ( hate joysticks xd ). I can wait for all the free dlc sIt really improved a lot and makes fun.     Played this Game on PC, PS4, Xbox One S and I´ve finally decided to try it ou on PS5, probably the best Upgrade this game could have gotten was to just be released on PS5 and PC, most of the issues I had on PS4 and Xbox One S were almost completely Obliterated on PS5, of course there are still issues, this is Cyberpunk 2077 after all, those same issues are the Constant Crashes and SpawningPlayed this Game on PC, PS4, Xbox One S and I´ve finally decided to try it ou on PS5, probably the best Upgrade this game could have gotten was to just be released on PS5 and PC, most of the issues I had on PS4 and Xbox One S were almost completely Obliterated on PS5, of course there are still issues, this is Cyberpunk 2077 after all, those same issues are the Constant Crashes and Spawning e DeSpawning of Vehicles and NPCs, other than that the Game is Great, I had already given my Review for PS4, but I though this version deserved a Good Grade, it has Good Story, some sweet non-linear missions, a great Map to explore, the Crimes and Contracts are a bit dissapointing but the rest of the game makes up for it.… Expand

    And actually the best thing what I like to do there is to drive a car in first person while listening Vexelstrom radio. Its such a shame that it might receive only one big DLC and nothing else, just because of this hype ruin. I think its more up on marketing team, if such hype marketing    What a game, it doesn't deserve that much hate. Music, characters, and atmosphere it's incredible!

    I'm playing for the first time since launch. I bought it for PS4, then upgraded to PS5 (free) and started playing on 9/20/2022 My impression at launch was same as everyone else's. It was horrible. 0/10 for sure. As of today, the game has been upgraded and fixed exponentially. It's so fun and everything I had hoped for. I have seen a couple bugs, but nothing I wouldn't say is beyond what'sI'm playing for the first time since launch.     The story had great potential and should've been executed better by the developers.

    Plenty of bugs still, played a couple of weeks ago. The combat is pretty bad, the aiming and movement are sluggish and simply don't feel like they belong in a AAA game.

    After patch 1.5 this is a solid game worth every penny. Great story, great dialogues, voice acting, meaningful side missions, beautiful graphics… Well worth the 50hrs I’ve put into it.

    It's an unfinished game. Plain and simple. This becomes ever clear as you play. Despite their meager attempts to fix the games broken technical state, it still is just unfinished.

    PS5 version 1.6 is a great open world game that gets some things absolutely right, and some things not. When it is at its best it is an absolute joy to play:-

    - well paced and well executed narrative for the main story as well as side missions

    cons:-

    - poor AI both enemies and NPC's in the street that feels very outdated
    - poor driving mechanics
    - weapon customisation initially appears deep but turns out to be essentially meaningless as percs will add little to powerful weapons
    - confusing menus
    - too much emphasis on looting
    - non-existent crime system ie. you can rob people with no repercussions at any time
    - character customisation is utterly pointless as game is in 1st person all the time apart from driving
    - no shooting mechanic whilst driving

    overall a good open world game when playing on next gen or high end PC    … Expand

The game is well tuned on PlayStation 5, making excellent use of the dualsense's adaptive triggers and speaker. Graphics are generally stunning, with high frame rates throughout. Regarding the well publicized bug issues from the previous generation hardware, CDprojekt Red seem to have ironed outThis game features one of the most stunning and densely packed worlds I've ever experienced. In 39 hours of game time I have only experienced two crashes, fewer than Skyrim even to this day.     1. CMON fix the field of view and add slider. Nobody wants to watch this narrow claustrophobic keyhole. 2. Fix this laggy aiming and remove any accelerations and make it "snappy" meaning responsive, no smoothning or other artificial crap. 3. Fix ads aiming sensitivity. Its same speed than without adsing. It should be slower.

There were just too many bugs and graphics issues that spoiled the immersion. Returning to the game with ps5 and a 4k TV in 2022 and the game is mindblowimg.     Off the top of my head I can’t think of another game with a backstory like Cyberpunk 2077. It’s fortunate that CDPR were able to spend the last year-plus continuing development of the game, listening to feedback, adding content, and fixing tons and tons of issues. Many games would simply not have gotten the extra time and money spent that Cyberpunk got, but this time CDPR got it right. Now is the right time to play this game; I’m not saying it’s flawless and perfect, but it’s nearly so, for such an elaborate, massive game. This is the game we were hoping for back in December 2020, but I’m reminded of the adage ‘better late than never.’ And that certainly applies here.

    Despite significant technical and in-play improvements for this PS5 version, much of the game’s core remains unchanged. Quest design and storytelling, though not without their moments on the critical path, too often feel rife with unrealised potential. Cyberpunk 2077’s abrasive personality is still clear as day too, inescapable in its script and blaring out from Night City’s many questionable billboards. If you choose to venture into Night City, we hope you find what you’re looking for. [Issue#12, p.72]

    Despite its mismanaged launch, Cyberpunk is a success story. What began in December 2020 as an incomplete, often-unplayable sore spot for CD Projekt has become one of the most immersive RPGs I’ve ever played – one whose visuals, soundtrack, and narrative can go toe to toe with the strongest in the genre. Despite Cyberpunk’s technical headaches, I’ve enjoyed more than 40 hours in it and don’t see myself losing interest in its rich world or side content anytime soon. Cyberpunk’s botched beginnings warranted the scorn players treated it with, but if patch 1.5 is any indication, Night City’s future looks bright.
