    I just played this for the first time. The new PS5 version. And all I have to say is this game is dope as hell. 10/10, easily. Absolutely love it.

    Loved the story, the world and the gameplay and options you have to shape it. Some minor bugs for me, but not anything game breaking. Already spent 70 hours in one life path I'm going to do the other life paths as well. Would love more content like that. Also a note to execs: Let developers do their job and release when they feel confident to release.     Glad I waited to play the PS5 version. The story and world created are breathtaking. Now's the time to drive into Night City. No video game out there is ever worth a zero so shows how ridiculous half the reviews here are.

    I can get all the digs this game is getting due to its lousy launch
    but after patch 1.5 and having played through the entire game and all the side content
    i can safely say, this game is ONE OF THE BEST PIECES GAMING HAS TO OFFER, its not a perfect game
    but its one of the most memorable gaming experiences i've ever had

    Great game before the patch just made even better by the next gen upside. Although it's more around an 8 than a 10. I scored it a 10 to offset all these little babies crying about a a country ruled by a dictator facing consequences for acting like a country ruled by a dictator.     One of the best atmospheres in gaming history.Beautiful..I havent seen any game breaking issues so far,but it needs some more fixes,and it also needs some addons like car fixing garages,transmog,some more action between npcs on the street etc..Then this game can become legendary.

    I was not impressed (to put it mildly) with CDPR realising unfinished and broken game back in 2020. I love Cyberpunk lore, so I waited 14 months for CDPR to “fix” the game. I recently got a PS5 version and I love it. The lore is fantastic, I really enjoy the story, and so far I had no crashes or glitches. Also, the game is now only £20 on PS store.

    Story 9/10 : mature and meaningful story and high-quality dialogues. Only TLOU and RDR2 have this level of writing
    Gameplay 8/10 was surprised by the excellent feeling of gunplay, especially with haptic feedback. and there is a lot of available coontroller settings. hacking is also very fun to play. Only melee is a bit underwhelming

    My respect for CDPR just skyrocketed! They just announced that they will no longer be selling any of their games in Russia or Belarus. This move right here, plus the most recent next-gen update, definitely restored a HUGE amount of love I once had for this company.

    The update 1.5 has completely redeemed this game. The game runs great and is gorgeous now. (If you're on "next gen") it's 100,000,000% worth the buy now. I'm hooked on this game, and loving it like a wanted to so badly a year ago.

    Jestem chyba jednym z nielicznych graczy, który jest zachwycony i cieszy się, że ta gra powstała. Błędy są, problemy są, ale reszta to wspaniały świat, świetna fabuła, postacie, strzelanie. Życzę CD Projekt Red, aby wyciągnęli wnioski z błędów i nie poddali się potknięciom. Czasem tak się zdarza, ważne że walczycie do końca i nie porzuciliśmy projektu.

    The game is amazing. Played for first time with patch 1.5 and its easily 8 or 9 out of 10. I feel bad for CDPR, they put a lot of work into this. Just didn't live up to expectations - but my word, its still an incredible experience. Up there with the best games ever.

    Great game with a really great story and different ways to tread it. You want to explore the icy world and always find something new. The side missions are varied and partly funny. The loading times on the PS5 are insane (positively meant). Graphically a highlight and buttery soft thanks to 60fps.

    Bought after the 1.5 update, finfished the game, 80 hrs in, it was just great, really wish for a story expansion! Bugs weren't an issue, got like 4-5 complete crashes, which is maybe 2-3 more than other games in such playtime.

The PS5 version is good enough that you can focus on all the highs like story, action, environment and immersion, instead of bugs and crashing. If you haven’t played, now is absolutely the time.     After Next Gen update it's a stunning masterpiece! Loved the gameplay, storytelling and characters. Yes, it's still a little big buggy, but in my opinion I enjoined it as a continue excitement of my senses. Loved everything, atmosphere is perfectly immersive as the original '80s RPG.

    - the game has an amazing graphics, easily 9/10
    - the sound is phenomenal, the soundtrack and vocals are an AAA product, 10/10 - extra: the effort put into creating a convincing world is off the charts and definitely here CDPR    The reviews are very biased due to the drama surrounding the expectations and marketing.     - extra: the effort put into creating a convincing world is off the charts and definitely here CDPR is a leader in the genre. Cyberpunk managed to be more than a game - it popularized a "cyberpunk" trend in music and fashion
    - gameplay is very diverse, with options to utilize shooting, stealth kills and hacking. 9/10
    - the game is very story-driven so the narrative and characters is very important. Arguably this is where Cyberpunk shines the most, but it's very subjective. Personally i loved it.
    - certain elements where the game does not shine is lack of compelling side games, relatively many repetitive side quests, also some people expected a gta-like police chase mechanics which is not here at all.
    - some bugs - at this point it's not a problem.
    Overall, objectively the game deserves 9/10. Naturally some people may not like this kind of game so keep that in mind, but the production value is fantastic.

    Some people like to hate though and i think we see plenty of that in the reviews with scores of "0" or "1" but i believe such biased reviews tell more about the person writing it, than the game itself.    … Expand

Having had a major face lift and the developers trying to fix alot of the issues - I've decided to give it another go on the PS5 and I am pleasantly surprised with the results! I think the main issue is that the game was hypedHaving played Cyberpunk 2077 on the PS4 before it was patched and what not, I did find it a little difficult to play and ultimately got bored and traded it in. Having had a major face lift and the developers trying to fix alot of the issues - I've decided to give it another go on the PS5 and I am pleasantly surprised with the results! I think the main issue is that the game was hyped beyond belief and anything short of a 10/10 would of not been good enough for alot of hardcore gamers. If I'm totally honest and this game came out today with fewer issues, it would still struggle to be considered a top title but the studio also had to compete with their own success in the form of The Witcher 3. I'd still encourage anyone to give it another go but I also completely agree with anyone who feels like they've had their fingers burnt. Maybe focusing on the fact the devs have genuinely listened to their fans and tried to implement the biggest changes that were demanded will allow you to play it and actually have fun which is what its all about. Also, any open world game nowadays will get compared to GTA, this is not GTA - Don't expect that and you'll again, have a better chance of enjoying the game.… Expand

    It is finally getting there. Game's good story wise and the city is fun to explore. Sure, it is not as deep as a Rockstar-made city and it has definitely got flaws, but the improvement is visible and Cyberpunk feels fleshed out with new mechanics and decent AI.

Модельки исчезают, оставляя после себя летающую дубину к примеру (не часто, но за пол игры наткнулся дважды). НПС ведут себя всё же неКак человек, не игравший в игру до этого патча и старавшийся ничего по ней не смотреть ДВА ГОДА, чтобы не словить спойлера до сколь-нибудь стабильного консольного релиза, могу сказать что баги есть и они заметны, даже если их не искать сознательно. Модельки исчезают, оставляя после себя летающую дубину к примеру (не часто, но за пол игры наткнулся дважды). НПС ведут себя всё же не натурально, если остановиться и поглазеть на них секунд 10. Изображения на билбордах очень так заметно замыливаются. Пару раз видел как женщина прошла сквозь стену. Главный герой продолжает разговор даже если убежать очень далеко от того с кем он его начал. И иногда диалоги наслаиваются друг на друга. О если очень немного постараться, то я вполне могу закрыть на выше перечисленное глаза и насладиться игрой, так как атмосфера захватывает, сюжетка интересная, диалоги тоже. Управление машинами и стрельба хорошо выполнены.

    Уровень сложности лучше не ставить ниже высогого, а то к использованию взломов, прокачке и даже инвентарю можно не обращаться, и так пробегается без сложностей.    … Expand

    I am a big Sci-fi fan so I was waiting for Cyberpunk like a child Is waiting for Christmas. When the game came I was so damn disappointed… I sold my copy, all the gadgets, and I told myself that Cd Project ain’t **** but I was waiting for the next-gen update. Now after 10-15 hours of playing the game I can tell you that It is amazing it still has a lot of flaws, but the story, characters,I am a big Sci-fi fan so I was waiting for Cyberpunk like a child Is waiting for Christmas. When the game came I was so damn disappointed… I sold my copy, all the gadgets, and I told myself that Cd Project ain’t **** but I was waiting for the next-gen update. Now after 10-15 hours of playing the game I can tell you that It is amazing it still has a lot of flaws, but the story, characters, music, and the ambition of that world are out of the league. This game was impossible to be delivered on Ps4/Xbox One. After patch 1.5 I highly recommend it on Playstation 5.     People giving it bad review haven’t played it since the next gen update on the ps5. I’m many hours into it with no issues and the game looks awesome! I do feel that the 60fps performance mode is the best vs 30 with ray tracing. Stop being haters and play it. Picks up in the second act and is very cool when Johnny gets into the game. Love it.     Jogo está muito bom! Extremamente divertido com gráficos e detalhes acima do normal. Jogo existe tanto detalhe é tanto gráfico que você fica jogando e perde um bom tempo analisando a cidade e as casas do modo história. Realmente muito bom.

    I've already played the PS4 Version but the PS5 Version is really a big improvement which makes this awesome game even better. Don't listen to all those raging kids. Play the demo and see for yourself how great the world, characters, gunplay and especially the story is.     It is all I really wanted the game to be. Great graphics. I love the story and combat. I am proud of what CD Project Red team did in the past year against all the bad management and harsh but rightful criticism form the community. The Game should have been like this day one, but at last it is here for us to enjoy.

    This should never been released on PS4 and got so much hate for being too heavy for the old PS4. Cyberpunk2077 really shines with the Hardware of PS5. Great story, and many updates details in this version. This is what we waited for.

    I'm about 102 hours into this game and here is what I got:

    1. Story is solid. Leaves you feeling a bit empty, but hopeful.

    2. Graphics are awesome with the right rig.

    3. The game big. I'm 102 hours in and I still haven't explored every area.

    4. This game is like the Witcher 3, where it takes patience to explore and get to know everything about it. I spent 500 hours in the Witcher 3, and I still didn't cover everything. This is similar in that sense.

    5. The game's musical score is perfect. It's dark and cold, and mysterious. Dystopian indeed.

    6. The environment is amazing and on a 60" TV, a lot of times I found myself really emerged into it all.

    Cons:
    1. There are some bugs. But not a detriment. I found most of them to be comical, like a car driving off wile the passangers are left behind, suspended in air. :)

    2. Character controls, walking, driving, combat...etc. could be better.

    3. First person view. I know what they tried to do with the first person view, but I think it doesn't fit as it should. I think there should have been an option to switch like there is while driving.

    The final thing I would say is that I wish there was more character depth. Perhaps the story should have been a 50 hour story and not a 25 hour story. Otherwise the game is amazing. No one should compare the game to GTA or the like. It is a very differnt type of game. And I bet the next chapter of Cyberpunk will truly merit awards.    … Expand

Now your V standing in that same city and actually being successful. Story is amazing. Gameplay could’ve used a tad bit more tuning but still I loved it. Graphics are stunning and the lighting is amazing, runs at 1440p 60 fps I believe on the ps5 with far 2.     - confusing menus
    - too much emphasis on looting
    - non-existent crime system ie. you can rob people with no repercussions at any time
    - character customisation is utterly pointless as game is in 1st person all the time apart from driving
    - no shooting mechanic whilst driving

It wears its influences on its sleeve, but what a stellar slate of influences: GrandCame to Cyberpunk post 1.61 patch -- can't speak to the manifold performance issues on this or other consoles (though the game still has plenty of bugs, they are fewer and far-between than your average Bethesda product, or Witcher III for that matter...) -- and it's an absolutely fantastic experience. It wears its influences on its sleeve, but what a stellar slate of influences: Grand Theft Auto, Fallout 3/4, Dishonoured, Blade Runner, Necromancer, and so on. Cyberpunk crafts a complex and intricate futuristic world, complete with believable slang, outfits, weapons, and music, while steering the player through a riveting story of gross corporate malfeasance, populist rebellion, and our biological integration with sophisticated technology. Clearly the game should have stayed in the oven far longer than it did, but that's more the fault of short-sighted C-suite execs and investors than the creative team behind this masterpiece.     After 2 years, I gave Cyberpunk another chance. This time on PS5. And I so am glad I did. This was a fantastic game with a superb story. I was honestly blown away. Though there is till tons of bugs, it is in a far better state than at launch. Farrrr better. CD Project Red are a very very talented, they just need to take their time in creating their art. I'll give this a strong 8.5/10

My playthrough lasted a little more than 65 hours and I did a lot of side content. In fact, most of the side content is well done. If you just rush through the main story, you’re missing a lot of stuff!
    In terms of difficulty, you should be fin on normal or hard if you’re an average skilled adult and busy gamer like me. Here are some pros and cons for this game:

    Pros:
    • Sound effects are top-notch! If you have a good headset, you will hear an incredible number of details in the sound, especially in night-club environments

    • The RPG mechanics are good. There are a lot of different ways you can complete missions depending on your playstyle

    • Graphics are high-level. Night City is one of the best settings ever in a videogame.

    Cons:
    • There are pacing problems, especially for tutorial matters. At the beginning, the game throws you everything at the same time !

    • The story is just ok, nothing bad, nothing amazing

    • The replay value is limited if you want to respec. It’s not possible to redistribute some type of points in your skill tree

    Overall, a great game and I’m sure the DLC will be amazing ! CDPR worked really hard to save this franchise and they succeed !    … Expand

The setting is wonderful, full of details and very accurate, the 1st person view allows you to really immerse in Night City and that's absolutely the best part.     Off the top of my head I can’t think of another game with a backstory like Cyberpunk 2077. It’s fortunate that CDPR were able to spend the last year-plus continuing development of the game, listening to feedback, adding content, and fixing tons and tons of issues. Many games would simply not have gotten the extra time and money spent that Cyberpunk got, but this time CDPR got it right. Now is the right time to play this game; I’m not saying it’s flawless and perfect, but it’s nearly so, for such an elaborate, massive game. This is the game we were hoping for back in December 2020, but I’m reminded of the adage ‘better late than never.’ And that certainly applies here.

    Despite significant technical and in-play improvements for this PS5 version, much of the game’s core remains unchanged. Quest design and storytelling, though not without their moments on the critical path, too often feel rife with unrealised potential. Cyberpunk 2077’s abrasive personality is still clear as day too, inescapable in its script and blaring out from Night City’s many questionable billboards. If you choose to venture into Night City, we hope you find what you’re looking for. [Issue#12, p.72]

    Despite its mismanaged launch, Cyberpunk is a success story. What began in December 2020 as an incomplete, often-unplayable sore spot for CD Projekt has become one of the most immersive RPGs I’ve ever played – one whose visuals, soundtrack, and narrative can go toe to toe with the strongest in the genre. Despite Cyberpunk’s technical headaches, I’ve enjoyed more than 40 hours in it and don’t see myself losing interest in its rich world or side content anytime soon. Cyberpunk’s botched beginnings warranted the scorn players treated it with, but if patch 1.5 is any indication, Night City’s future looks bright.
