Played trhough tutorial. Which was a chore. Dismayed to find out there's no create your own ruler. I don't want to play a campaign. I wanted a sandbox. Never played any of these games before but I can't believe I blew 75 bucks on this 2002 Era cash grab of a game. Lazy **** developers.

The game is great but the fact that sometimes you cannot save really does ruin it. Many times i have had hours of content lost because the game will not save, this has been occurring to many players since release and nothing has been done to address it.

    1) If you play a strategy game, you need the information at your fingertips to make informed decisions on the relative strength of your opponent. CK3 on PS5 fails epically in this respect. The information is either non existent on this platform or too awkward to access. I hated the tooltips. Why no tabbed/accordion widgets you could pin? Don't be hoodwinked by the marketing videos. 2)1) If you play a strategy game, you need the information at your fingertips to make informed decisions on the relative strength of your opponent. If Lab 42/Paradox provided more useful PS5 CK3 tutorials/videos for the campaign you select including a complete walkthrough it would go a long way. Needs a complete UX overhaul. Then it could be awesome. Another thought.. Implement APIs on the people so you have web services that can return a JSON payload. Let people use things like Google Sheets represent that data. Then you might at least start to get the information you need to make informed decisions. Update : Lab42 have released the Royal Court DLC that crashes constantly. Try saving and lose 30 min+ of gameplay. Lab42 make no endeavours to engage with the community or respond. Their PR sucks. Expand

A valiant, yet only partially successful, attempt to bring Crusader Kings to PlayStation. The cumbersome control system holds it back. [Issue#14, p.91]

Crusader Kings III is a hobby all by itself. When you start a campaign in this one, you’re going to need to settle in for the long haul, and in the initial stages, where you’ll make mistakes (and often not understand why), it can all be too overwhelming and you’ll give up on it. That’s fine if you decide on that basis that the game isn’t for you. It’s not for everyone and it’s certainly not Civilization. However, there’s no other way this game could have been made, and when it all finally clicks, the depth and intelligence of what Crusader Kings III offers also make it impossible to put down. You’re not going to find a more complex strategy game, nor a more rewarding one, on consoles.

Crusader Kings III: Console Edition is another excellent port. The game expresses strategy in the best way and carries it in its own veins, it can be complex due to its nature but the best of all is that every match is different.
