    The one of the best remasters. Graphics and controllers was updated. OST is good but isn't on Square level. The storyline is good too, but some characters and things is over expendable. In short, is a good game for FFVII fans.

    El juego es divertidísimo, le metí sus 40 horas y me la pasé genial.
    Los gráficos mejoraron mucho respecto al original, pero si son inferiores a los vistos últimamente, dejan a deber. La banda sonora esta buenísima, y el gameplay es genial bastante dinámico.
    La historia me deja una sensación mixta, los personajes originales de este juego la mayoría son bastante mediocres a excepción de    El juego es divertidísimo, le metí sus 40 horas y me la pasé genial.
    Los gráficos mejoraron mucho respecto al original, pero si son inferiores a los vistos últimamente, dejan a deber. La banda sonora esta buenísima, y el gameplay es genial bastante dinámico.
    La historia me deja una sensación mixta, los personajes originales de este juego la mayoría son bastante mediocres a excepción de algunos como Zack (de lo mejor del juego), y la historia no arranca hasta la mitad del juego, igual el final es espectacular, sin duda uno bastante memorable.

    Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII Reunion, the predecessor to the Final Fantasy VII Remake, did not achieve the same level of graphic quality as the Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade. It can be said that the latter is a HD remake and the former is just a remake. Combined with the poor controller adaptation and the terrible combat experience of stacking enemies, I would only recommend thisCrisis Core: Final Fantasy VII Reunion, the predecessor to the Final Fantasy VII Remake, did not achieve the same level of graphic quality as the Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade. It can be said that the latter is a HD remake and the former is just a remake. Combined with the poor controller adaptation and the terrible combat experience of stacking enemies, I would only recommend this game to those "real" fans of Final Fantasy VII, not to anyone who was shocked by the graphics of Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade.… Expand

    Definitely enjoyed going down memory lane, but in remastered format. I played the original Crisis Core on PSP more than a decade ago. While the music wasn't as epic as the first, it was very similar of course with the same composer in Takeharu Ishimoto. Sometimes the plot you need to read in between the lines or have to look things up online to fully grasp.     Crisis Core Reunion felt like both a blast to the past and a new adventure all in one package. It’s crazy to think I originally played this game in high school nearly fifteen years ago now not because I’m surprised how much time has gone by, but because this remaster felt far from a polished PSP game. The quality of life improvements to gameplay and the face lifts the characters, menus,Crisis Core Reunion felt like both a blast to the past and a new adventure all in one package. The quality of life improvements to gameplay and the face lifts the characters, menus, and even entire areas received to look closer to Remake were absolutely fantastic. Combat was even faster and flashier than what I remember from the original and going out of my way to complete everything felt like I got to see a side of these characters I’d never seen before. The emotional journey and character interactions have been etched fondly into my memories for over a decade now, so revisiting this journey only solidified to me that it is a timeless classic that can be enjoyed by fans old and new. Whether you played this game during it’s era like I did or are a new fan to the FF7 franchise I definitely recommend playing through this fantastic adventure. This serves as a beautiful overhaul for those of us who already loved it, and still something fresh and exciting for the newcomers.     Coming from a person who did not play the original game, this game is at the high end of the OK spectrum. it is good but nothing special. it is way inferior to FFVII remake.     Another nostalgia bait from Square Enix, with somewhat better graphics and atmosphere-breaking remixed soundtracks, not to mention the worst re-recording ever, especially on Zack the new va totally deprived the charm of character
    They seriously need to stop milking FF7 besides there are much more possibilities in enhancing other numbering ones

    Esperaba algo más de este juego. Es un juego interesante, pero no me convencieron. Mucho a mejorar, sin embargo, el combate sigue siendo interesante y hay variedad. Juego jugable pero sin ser nada extraordinario.

Nunca jugué el original yo solo tuve la PSP VITA, casi no tenía juegos y en aquel entonces no ubicaba la saga, por esta razón no se si es buen remaster o no pero por gameplays que he visto del original puedo notar que es mas un remake que un remaster, sea lo que sea graficamente hay una mejoría brutal. Es un muy buen juego para lo que es, un juego de PSP, se nota mucho por lasWOW. Vamos a lo importante, lo argumental, es muy buena historia llevada por un gran protagonista, Zack me encanta es muy simpático, Aeris ni hablar, Genesis y Angeal no se que pensar, no me terminan de convencer pero tampoco los considero asco de personajes, Sefirot me encanta y ahora que por fin logro escuchar su voz, el principio de la historia no esta mal pero siento que mejora cuando se empieza a conectar y dar sentido a la historia del juego original, y las ultimas horas son muy buenas, esa última escena es dura ngl, y la escena post-creditos te pone la piel chinita.     Sqe(Square Enix) went out of their way to improve different elements from the old game such as the impact of the DMW and gave us an extra stance when acquiring the Buster sword. The audio as well as the visual department got the treatment of Remake series and is overall a better version of the old game.

    keep in mind this is not a remake, thus stuff that you may not like such as the repetitive side missions the empty roads and the points of no return parts may be of your dissliking. The cast of the remake are reprizing their roles so in case you do not like the new VA of Zack that also may add to your dissatisfaction.

    While this is a good game I just think that it’s not as good as FFVII Remake I think it uses the same engine as the remake but the story is also a bit boring but not only that Rick Gomez doesn’t even voice Zack Fair not to much of a big deal but as a person who played the psp version it feels weird but overall it’s a not bad game you should play it if you want to know the Final Fantasy VIIWhile this is a good game I just think that it’s not as good as FFVII Remake I think it uses the same engine as the remake but the story is also a bit boring but not only that Rick Gomez doesn’t even voice Zack Fair not to much of a big deal but as a person who played the psp version it feels weird but overall it’s a not bad game you should play it if you want to know the Final Fantasy VII story… Expand

    New Combat system is fun and addicting.

    Materia fusion is also fun

    Nice to see certain FF7 characters Got to see previews of regions that have yet to be explored in the FF7 Remake compilation.


    Disliked:

    Side missions get reparative

    Very little enemy variety Dialogue delivery is rough during certain cutscenes

    A lot of retcons to the original’s story

    That's how a remaster should ne handled. It's still the same game, but much more fluid.

    The price tag may be too much for some people. It could indeed cost a bit less considering it's a game designed for a portable system.

    For me it was well worth it, not spectacular but fun enough to keep me entertained for a week or so (I went for platinum trophy). Campaign only takes much less time.

The improvements also fit well into the game. The controls and the battles now run even better and more effectively than before. The technology is more of a double-edged sword. So we get to see great cutscenes andSquare Enix has made a good remake for the consoles and the PC with "CRISIS CORE -FINAL FANTASY VII- REUNION". The storyline can still convince nowadays and is still fun. The improvements also fit well into the game. The controls and the battles now run even better and more effectively than before. The technology is more of a double-edged sword. So we get to see great cutscenes and effects. On the other hand, the environments and the lack of facial expressions in places are rather weakly done.     Surely the best in the franchise! Love the change of the combat style, the added story of the FF7 lore and just an excellent inhanced version on the switch!

    Over and over and over again, graphics are worse than remake the game constantly interrupts the flow of your gameplay with cutscenes. Mission areas are empty lifeless. The game feels as if it is a phone game.

    All those 300 missions are so fun, i never finished all of them back then but in Reunion i got very addicted to all of those missions

    The new combat made it 10000x better than the original crisis core where you literally can't move the camera and when the DMW is always in your face.

    As a prequel to one of gaming’s most beloved classics, Crisis Core did a great job of enriching the original game’s world as an action RPG on the PSP. This remaster not only enhances the visuals but also improves on many of the original’s shortcomings. While there still are some inconveniences, altogether Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII Reunion is an exhilarating experience from start to finish.

    A beautiful looking remaster which doesn’t manage to significantly upgrade its source material in aspects other than graphics. Only faithful Final Fantasy VII fans who didn’t get to play it on the PSP will leave truly satisfied.
