    I would give this a 9 but I'm giving it a 10 due to anyone ignorant enough to give it a negative rating. This is an amazing remaster. I never player the original but this is one of my favorite FF games now.

    There was so much pleasure and activity for a game on the PSP title! Excellent improvements have been made to the aesthetics, fighting, and quality of life. Grab this gem and enjoy it if you love Final Fantasy 7 and want to understand more about Zack and Cloud.

    Because I missed out on Crisis Core for the PSP, I am so thankful that Square brought this game to the PS5! Crisis Core is an amazing prequel to Final Fantasy 7, my favorite video game of all time. Crisis Core focuses on Zack and has a beautiful and tragic story. I loved being able to see everything from Zack’s perspective especially when interacting with Cloud Aerith and Sephiroh. MyBecause I missed out on Crisis Core for the PSP, I am so thankful that Square brought this game to the PS5! Crisis Core is an amazing prequel to Final Fantasy 7, my favorite video game of all time. Crisis Core focuses on Zack and has a beautiful and tragic story. I loved being able to see everything from Zack’s perspective especially when interacting with Cloud Aerith and Sephiroh. My favorite chapter was definitely the one where you go to Nibelhiem because of how important those events were to Cloud, Tifa and Sephiroth. I liked how much Crisis Core Reunion looked and played like FF7 Remake. Reunion definitely felt more like a remake than a remaster.… Expand

You get that with a Remaster; some of it still functions, some of it's a touch old. However, what makes this one special is that it features all of the voice actors from the FF7 Remake.     Despite being a superb remaster, especially for the PC, the game is still a 2007 PSP title. But that's what a Remaster gives you. But what's cool about this one is that it features all of the voice actors from the FF7 Remake. If you enjoy the FF7 Remake, I would definitely recommend it.

Combat was even faster and flashier than what I remember from the original and going out of my way to complete everything felt like I got to see a side of these characters I’d never seen before. The emotional journey and character interactions have been etched fondly into my memories for over a decade now, so revisiting this journey only solidified to me that it is a timeless classic that can be enjoyed by fans old and new. Whether you played this game during it’s era like I did or are a new fan to the FF7 franchise I definitely recommend playing through this fantastic adventure. This serves as a beautiful overhaul for those of us who already loved it, and still something fresh and exciting for the newcomers. The gameplay and story hold up well and I still love it. I hope they make a proper FF7 remaster faithful to the original like this one day. Loved it!

    Sqe(Square Enix) went out of their way to improve different elements from the old game such as the impact of the DMW and gave us an extra stance when acquiring the Buster sword. The audio as well as the visual department got the treatment of Remake series and is overall a better version of the old game.

This is a remastered version of the one released on the PSP, with HD quality and a beautiful screen, but the character motions are still the same, so you can't deny that it looks old-fashioned. The difficulty level is low and the required actions are simple, so the game develops quickly. Personally, I enjoy it so much that once I start playing, I tend to play for a long time. I get heartburn from playing AAA games all the time, so I need to rest my stomach with a slow food game once in a while.… Expand

    That's how a remaster should ne handled. It's still the same game, but much more fluid.

    The price tag may be too much for some people. It could indeed cost a bit less considering it's a game designed for a portable system.

    For me it was well worth it, not spectacular but fun enough to keep me entertained for a week or so (I went for platinum trophy). Campaign only takes much less time.

    Many of this games' problems stem directly from the original, so I can't blame the remaster.

    Gameplay is tight, characters and story are both good, voice acting is sufficient.

    A neat remaster that sometimes clashes with its PSP origins. More often than not, it comes out on top, but it feels like it could have broken more limits. [Issue#23, p.74]

    As a prequel to one of gaming’s most beloved classics, Crisis Core did a great job of enriching the original game’s world as an action RPG on the PSP. This remaster not only enhances the visuals but also improves on many of the original’s shortcomings. While there still are some inconveniences, altogether Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII Reunion is an exhilarating experience from start to finish.

    A beautiful looking remaster which doesn’t manage to significantly upgrade its source material in aspects other than graphics. Only faithful Final Fantasy VII fans who didn’t get to play it on the PSP will leave truly satisfied.
