Artificially stretched with pointless twists and turns. Clumsy and underused core mechanics. QTE in 2021? Please... And all this, at a crazy price. Buy Death's Door.

The developers of "Cris Tales" have had many positive approaches and ideas. For example, the fights are really great and time also plays an important role in the gameplay. Another stereotypical anime crap game that is extremely over hyped for no actual reason.

The voice acting and plot were also all over the place. 8/10 based on my experience and not on technical achievements Expand

Very boring and repetitive anime game, not recommending, unless you have nothing else to play.

Tiene un arte muy agradable, una historia interesante, pero aveces el combate se hace algo repetitivo

Cris Tales is a tribute to the classic JRPG, with all the good and bad that goes with it. It has a fascinating graphic design and a great game idea with time control… but still, after some time, a stereotype appears and the feeling that more could be squeezed out of it. But it's still worth playing.

Cris Tales uses tried-and-tested activity and story tropes, but can’t manage to imbue them with anything interesting – though not for a lack of trying. [Issue#5, p.88]

The journey itself Crisbell and co take doesn’t hit the highs the striking aesthetic conjures, but Cris Tales delivers on a satisfying-if-uneven twist to turn-based RPG affairs.
