Aug 6, 2024Cat Quest III is an excellent 2.5D open-world RPG with fun characters and even a pirate ship to pilot. My only issue is that the puns can get to be a bit much by the time you reach the end.
-
Aug 8, 2024Cat Quest III is a delightful adventure filled with charm, humor, and engaging gameplay. Its balanced mechanics, combined with a captivating world and a plethora of references, make it a must-play for fans of the genre. Whether you’re playing solo for a more challenging experience or in co-op for a more relaxed adventure, this game promises hours of fun and exploration.
-
Aug 7, 2024Cat Quest 3 will be too breezy and simple for some. I scoff at these folks and can simply enjoy a game that makes me feel so warm and wholesome inside. Cat Quest 3 is beautiful, well written and funny. It's trimmed to perfection with zero fat or waffle. Sometimes I just want to have fun and the world of Cat Quest is a place where I can make this happen.
-
Aug 7, 2024The story itself is not long, only lasting 10–15 hours for the main game. Once the game is over, players can also try it in New Game+ Mode or the upcoming "Mew Game" Mode, which will provide challenges such as not allowing players to equip anything or preventing them from leveling up higher than level one. Providing many more hours of enjoyable gameplay for Cat Quest 3 even after the main story is over.

Aug 6, 2024Though the game isn’t purrfect (puns are back on the menu) by any means, I thoroughly enjoyed my time with Cat Quest 3. It doesn’t have the most sophisticated story or combat system, but its fantastic potential for exploration and build diversity results in an experience that is hard to peel away from. The feline-inspired whimsical charm and gorgeous sun-kissed visuals make it a world I want to be in far beyond the 10-hour runtime. Whether you’re a cat lover or not, Cat Quest 3 is an all-around good time and is an undeniably charming and wonderful pirate adventure.
-
Aug 20, 2024Cat Quest III serves as a fantastic introduction to this charming franchise. With surprisingly deep combat, intriguing exploration, and wild story turns, the game kept me up far later than I intended for several nights in a row. Appropriate for the kids, but good enough that Dad soon booted the kids off the controller and took over. If you can stand the endless puns, this is a great, breezy action RPG that will entertain the entire family for hours.

Aug 8, 2024Cat Quest III is a fantastic game and is far better than it has any right to be. More than just a silly game with silly puns, it is an impressive showcase of simple but quality game design, where they leave clever and tantalising breadcrumbs of discovery to drive the player forward. It’s a tight and easy-to-control questathon game that anyone can play. That’s perfect too; it’s some of the simplest and most fun couch co-operative gaming I’ve experienced in yonks. Many a joyful moment was had hacking, slashing and dodging with my partner right by my side, before taking to the luscious and gorgeous crystal blue seas. These are only some of the gorgeous sights on offer. The Purribean is your oyster. Set sail, Cat Quest III is a real one.
-
Aug 22, 2024You wouldn't think that cats would enjoy taking to the high seas but Cat Quest III proves that feline pirates can be just as capable.

Aug 19, 2024Quotation forthcoming.

Aug 6, 2024Cat Quest 3 wastes no time letting you board your ship and set sail on a lighthearted pirate adventure. Despite being mostly water, the world here is packed to the brim with charm and vigor. If it weren't for a forgettable main story and reused dungeon designs, this might've been the perfect answer for the current trend of RPG bloat. Even with those flaws, Cat Quest 3 kept me smiling through my entire playthrough. That's not something many games have done.
-
Aug 6, 2024With its piratical new setting and boatylicious battling, Cat Quest 3 is another fun and light sequel in probably the cutest action RPG series out there.
-
Aug 6, 2024Cat Quest III offers an exceptionally charming and captivating adventure that redefines the series with stunning visuals and engaging gameplay. The game features interesting quests, a lush overworld map, and a fun local co-op mode. Despite some issues with NPC impact, broken equipment systems, and balancing, the experience remains rewarding and approachable for players of all skill levels. Perfect for a joyful weekend adventure, Cat Quest III stands out as a delightful addition to the series.
-
Aug 6, 2024Cat Quest III is a succinct, super-adorable action RPG that builds on its predecessors with even more variety, accomplished visuals, fun twists and an absurd dictionary of puns. If you're after an adventure that offers everything you'd want from a modern RPG in a bite-sized format and less than 10-hour runtime, this is fur you.
-
Aug 17, 2024Cat Quest III is a simple and fun pirate adventure that takes us into a universe full of adorable kittens, nasty "pi-rats," and many more incredibly charming creatures! With a small game world full of islands and caves to explore and a cast of delightfully well-developed characters, The Gentlebros' creation once again manages to entertain and engage, thanks to its straightforward gameplay that never gets boring.
-
Aug 8, 2024Cat Quest III is an extremely charming pirate adventure that will quickly cast a spell over you and reward your thirst for discovery. Due to some weaknesses, the action RPG may not be purrfect, but the Purribean will certainly give you a good feeling.
-
Aug 6, 2024With improved visuals and subtle gameplay changes, Cat Quest III maintains the series' strengths and improves on almost everything except the narrative. It's a solo or co-op pirate adventure that's just the right size and also isn't afraid to be cute, silly, and funny, guaranteeing fun for those who like the series and inviting for newcomers.
-
Sep 14, 2024Cat Quest 3 is a proposal in line with what Gentlebros had accustomed us to with the first two opuses of the license. The game loses some of the scope of the second installment. However, the call for adventure is there, reinforced by a sense of humor that wins us over. The story is short, but the ease of exploration makes you want to explore the open-world further. With two players, the pleasure is doubled. It's a pity that the legibility of combat is lost in multiplayer. Likewise, the quest system is being fine-tuned, but still needs to be consolidated to be effective. For around twenty euros, this third installment is well worth a look, if only to spend some quality time with family and friends, or even just for the pleasure of having some mindless fun with a game.
-
Aug 12, 2024Cat Quest III is a simple yet effective RPG, delivering plenty of great side quests and unique moments across the colorful Purribean.
-
Aug 6, 2024Cat Quest 3's selling point is also one of its biggest detractors, depending how you feel about the series: it's simply more of the same. It looks fantastic, and exploring its cutesy world is a joy, but the addition of sailing a ship isn't enough to make this stand out from its predecessors.
-
Aug 6, 2024Ticking all the right boxes to keep one engaged, yet doing little else to stand out even in the confines of its own series, Cat Quest III provides a competent, at times charmingly so, quest for better loot and better opportunities to use it all on. How well you fair on that latter objective will depend on how detrimental you rate a kind of simplistic combat, whose only true barrier to entry are the gear numbers the game ends up dictated by. Yet even with this reliance on player levels and hidden numbers to deducw, what it may lack (or deliberately ignore) in depth, it makes up for with a sufficient loop of activities to hunt down and well-implemented visuals on top. Whether a fan of the series prior or entirely new to what The Gentlebros usually cook up, Cat Quest III still manages to make its island-hopping adventure, a curious one all the same.
-
Aug 6, 2024Cat Quest 3 doesn't quite live up to the expectations that were set by its purrfectly poised predecessor, but it's still a rock solid seafaring adventure. While it falls short of Cat Quest 2 in terms of size and overall scope, this is perhaps a more focused take on the series' action RPG formula, and the game's pirate theme gives it an undeniable charm.
