    Bugsnax is a good relaxing game.It is more like a Pokemon style game(you gotta catch them all).I liked the gameplay and story.The only things i didn't like is there is obvious LGBTQ implementation in the game,which is not good if small kids are playing.

    Quirky and cute with a surprisingly interesting story and characters. The core gameplay is serviceable, but lacks in variety. Many of the Bugsnax can be caught in very similar ways, leading to little challenge once you figure out all of the game's main tactics. Considering that it's free, it's still an easy recommendation for PS+ owners.

Using creative solutions and a bunch of tools, you scan and catalogue the islands strange Bugsnax. Find what they like and figure out how you can lure them into your traps. Hilariously fun game with that wonderful sense ofBugsnax. A stupid silly fun time, wandering a mysterious island and capturing sentient foods.     Truly a hidden gem of early PS5 years. Had this game as a PS+ game, and only after I finally got PS5, Bugsnax was the second game I've played on it, and I loved it so much, that I can't even find the right words to describe how fun it is.

    Fun game but it can get a little repetitive. Scanning the bugs and taking pictures is fun. The characters and story are interesting though, but I kind of got tired of catching bugs. Highly recommended though if you're looking for an easy going game.

    You come for the bugsnacks and stay for the wonderfully written characters. While the gameplay is serviceable enough, the atmosphere and story heavily carry the game, and that's not a bad thing.

    A must play indie experience.

    I was going to give this game an 8, but after looking at the price I had to bump it up to a 9. I fully recommend this game. The story was far better and darker than I expected. I was very skeptical when I saw the trailer. The characters, love them or hate them, are all unique and have their own stories. Some Bugsnax felt horrible to try and catch and it felt like you were doing it wrong atI was going to give this game an 8, but after looking at the price I had to bump it up to a 9. I fully recommend this game. The story was far better and darker than I expected. I was very skeptical when I saw the trailer. The characters, love them or hate them, are all unique and have their own stories. Some Bugsnax felt horrible to try and catch and it felt like you were doing it wrong at points. Widely accessible game as there's no life/health system but makes it more enjoyable and relaxing whenever there's a difficult sequence.     Great game. The game is immersive, fun, and engaging. It also makes a great showcase for the new DualSense technologies. Only problem is that the story is a little confusing.

    This game made me feel happiness and excitement to play every day when I woke up. I haven’t had a game do that for me in a very long time and so I was incredibly happy to find this gem. It is incredibly engaging, surprisingly funny, and has a way of making you grow interpersonal relationships with the characters that by the end of the game you wish the game wasn’t ending. I loved theThis game made me feel happiness and excitement to play every day when I woke up. I haven’t had a game do that for me in a very long time and so I was incredibly happy to find this gem. It is incredibly engaging, surprisingly funny, and has a way of making you grow interpersonal relationships with the characters that by the end of the game you wish the game wasn’t ending.     After the trailer, I thought that I would never purchase that game, but as it was in PS Plus, and apart of Astro's Playroom I didn't have any truly PS5 games, I downloaded Bugsnax.

    Now I can tell I was wrong. Bugsnax is a fun, interesting game. I did platinum trophy in it - and the only disadvantage I found, is that I found the game to be short - I want more!

    Bugsnax was absolutely amazing. Great LGBT representation, which is much needed in children's games (reminding parents and children that hetero ever after isn't the only option). The characters were loveable and the art style was an absolute delight! I played on the PS5, and it probably had the best use of the Duelsense since Astros Playroom

    Well, that was a really enjoyable experience, the game was fun, it kept me entertained and the gameplay was good, it was also free on ps+ and IMO, it's one of the best that sony offered us. The only downside is the lack of manual save and quick travel.

    O jogo na minha visão, vai além de capturar "animais". A mensagem que eles desejam passar é clara e muito tocante. A forma como eles desenharam a história e a forma de superar os desafios é viciante, você quer cada vez mais entender o que aconteceu na ilha e seus personagens. Vale a pena jogar.

    I did not have high expectations for Bugsnax but ended up liking it very much. It is a silly story-driven creature-collector with great characters and voice acting. The story is good in my opinion, manages to keep most of its mystery until the very end.

    There is not much to hate about Bugsnax, There's nothing that's really offensive about it. It's just a Pokemon-esk game with some good characters and some annoying ones. It's good, I enjoyed it. I will say that this is a good free game (PS Plus), I wouldn't pay 60 bucks for it but it's a damn good game.

    I really loved the game, some characters talked nonsense in sidequests, but it was in a good way, I loved boss fights, and catching some challenging bugsnax. The atmosphere, the music, the locations were great, totally recommend to play (dualsense effects on ps5 were awesome).

It's very simple to play and quick to complete the game - but it does have a few "trickier" parts, for side objectives (where you'll have to think a bit, to catch some of the Bugs). The characters are fun, but the voice acting is a bit over the top, at times. Still, it's not bad enough to make you skip voice clips. Going in, I expected this to be a great game unironically unlike some of the others who turned it into a meme, mostly since I loved Octodad, a thoroughly underrated indie gem. Not only does Bugsnax not disappoint, it blew my expectations out of the water. This is an amazing game everyone should pick up. Wacky yet engaging puzzle style gameplay that is deeplyMan, what an amazing game. Going in, I expected this to be a great game unironically unlike some of the others who turned it into a meme, mostly since I loved Octodad, a thoroughly underrated indie gem. Not only does Bugsnax not disappoint, it blew my expectations out of the water. This is an amazing game everyone should pick up. Wacky yet engaging puzzle style gameplay that is deeply rewarding meets a (literally) colourful cast of characters, each of which are given care and attention by the devs as you see them develop as people and become better over the course of the game. While not a full 10/10 I still think this game deserved to be nominated for a Game of the Year award; it's something special and yet another hit from the Octodad devs, and was an absolute joy to platinum. I wish I could wipe my memories of this and just replay it; something I haven't felt since I watched Gravity Falls.… Expand

    If the story was 5x longer than it is - maybe the gameplay would be a little bit repetitive, But for me it wasn't repetitive at all. In every area, you have to come up with different idea and approaches on how to catch the bugsnax, while the story is constantly progressing.

    Don't expect extreme, hard gameplay from this game. Like I said it is a light-hearted, relaxing game for cozy evenings.
    The graphics are cool, music and voice actors fit really well in the game. Also haptic feedback support is a big plus for me.    … Expand

    I haven't had this much fun on a game in a long time. I got the platinum trophy on my ps5. Than on the ps4 edition. And I still want to play again. A nice calm relaxing game, with a great story, amazing for people who want to relax after a days work. I really hope there will be a sequel.

    I couldn't stop smiling when playing this game. How silly and simple the gameplay is while also having unique characters with their own flaws and goals enabled me to feel a connection to them and want to help them.
    The gameplay felt repetitive during the midgame as the formula for quests is the same in that they're basically all fetch quests however the final quests for a character where    I couldn't stop smiling when playing this game. El objetivo principal es capturar todos los bugsnax de la isla, utilizando diferentes herramientas y el propio entorno para hacerlo. Cada uno tiene su estrategia, y la jugabilidad es realmente buena. Hay que destacar el gran elenco de personajes, y la historia, que tiene un trasfondo mucho mayor de lo que puede aparentar desde un principio. Recomendable totalmente hacer todo al 100% y descubrie los secretos ocultos para ver el final completo, ya que me ha parecido de lo mejor del juego. A nivel técnico no presenta errores ni problemas de rendimiento. Lo mejor, sus personajes e historia, con un final realmente original. Lo peor, algunas de las misiones secundarias y retos pueden hacerse un poco pesadas por el tiempo qie requerirán para completarlas. Up to try any genre of games and sometimes I find something new that I didn't think I'd like. I own a PC (built by me), Xbox One X, Xbox Series X, PS3, PS4, PS5, and a Switch. I prefer Playstation due to their focus on narrative games. For scoring, I’ll be using the Gameinformer review scale and of course influenced by my personal opinions.

    (8) Very Good. Innovated, but perhaps not in the right choice for everyone. This score indicates that there are many good things to be had, but arguable so.

    An unique take. Definitely feels like a kids game while playing but has adult stuff within the story. The ending has a cool twist that will have you talking to your other friends that played the game. Reminds me of pokemon snap with a lot more gameplay. Good game to try out if you don't have anything else that you are yearning to play at the moment.    … Expand

    The game is easy but fun. The mechanic is basic but engaging. What makes this game so special and memorable is the story-telling and top-notch voice acting. The character chemistry is well-written as well. I appreciate the whole journey and look forward to the next game.

    Bugsnax is a fun game with its flaws. It's story was... interesting to say the least and overall I had fun. It's pacing was a bit odd. I did love all the Bugsnax. If you liked viva piñata you'll like this.

    Jogo divertidíssimo, personagens carismáticos e engraçados, gameplay inteligente e divertida, dublagens com atuações muito boas, cada bugsnax faz um som característico muito engraçado, um jogo para desestressar, aprovadíssimo.

    Loaded up this game not expecting much, A fun game for the little ones. Lots of bright fun characters and puzzles to solve. I feel it would be good to teach your kids the basics of gaming (controls could be easier) . I imagine younger children would find it pretty enjoyable.     When you need a break from the more intense games that are out there, Bugsnax is definitely a game to turn to! It's fairly easy going, and a lot of the characters have fun dialogue, most of which poke fun at other characters. It also requires at least a decent amount of brain power to play, as you mess around with physics and try to figure out how to actually catch some of the Bugsnax.

    It’s just a shame that the core gameplay here is so dull. Everything else in Bugsnax would make it a strong GOTY contender, but the sheer repetitiveness of the game’s main task drags it all down. Still, given how high the rest of the game flies, there’s only so far down it can go — and as it stands, that still means you’re left with one heck of a game.

    Bugsnax leans heavily on the unique nature of its titular creatures, and it succeeds by doing so. They’re cute, they’re creepy, and their existence makes no logical sense whatsoever. Armed with a bit of design this indelible, the developers could have phoned in the rest and raked in the merchandising money. Instead, they fully committed to delivering a narrative worthy of the creatures starring in it. It was a risky choice, but it was also a daring and clever one, and that’s exactly what it wants to be.
