    2023 is finally actually good year for gaming, tons of great games and this is the year when some absolute losers want to overhype game that could have released in 2001 and still wouldn't been special?? i'm hopeful that this is just loud minority.

    Terrible game , its almost unplayable, with less than 20 fps makes it worst game on ps5! Act 3 is a bad work of optimization.

    The game itself is what I expected gameplay wise But the really poor framerate and choppy way it plays isn't making me want to continue playing. Maybe if they patch it and fast I'll up my score and continue. Feels like a rushed port.

    BG3 Lacks Wall walking or even Hovering in mid air or even flying and ending your turn in mid air unlike Solasta.
    BG3 Character creator is WAY Worse
    BG3 dosnt have a Custom Campaign Maker
    BG3 has a Toxic Fan Base community that will legit use 'it just works' as an excuise

    These things are just at the TOP of my head mind you

    its PAINFULLY obvioius that the fan boys game critics journalist who rated this game 9/10 or higher are 2 lazy to properly do a review, 2 incompetent, or are just 2 curropt to do a proper Review

    You gonna like it if you like very traditional turn-based RPG, otherwise you are going to be tortured by the rhythm. Storyline is normal. Overall not as outstanding as the hype going on out there. I am not sure since when a rich content equals to a good content, and a large open world equals to a good game element.

    Dos2 was much better than this crap, it's so annoying on ps5, inventory management is a joke. So many things is wrong with this game I don't want to even start, boring story most important, overhyped game, and I loved BG 1 and worship bg2.

It seems like the devs had a golden idea not in pure game design but how to catch the attention of people who never interact with real people. So I find after pre ordering the game I had difficulty getting into the game. There are really good things about the game but it did not get me addicted.     Es un juego simplemente imposible de jugar en ps5, el control presenta muchos fallos a la hora de jugar, los sus lo hacen simplemente desesperante de jugar. Recomiendo la versión pc. O puede esperar que hagan parches para corregir los spf. No lo recomiendo en versión consola

    Juego muy mal optimizado para jugar en ps5, es un juego para jugar con teclado y ratón, por mucho que nos quieran convencer los mandos tienen sus limitaciones, en modo calidad no alcanza ni los 30fps estables, estoy harto de que nos engañen con los fps, 4k y el ray tracing...a mentir a vuestra madre.

    Después de haber jugado al chained echoes y al sea of stars este juego me ha parecido una auténtico timo. Lo peor de todo es que los jugadores se están acostumbrando a juegos mal optimizados y que tienen que ser reparcheados constantemente. Bendito el día en el que jugué a los final fantasy y al chrono trigger.

    Ta gra jest świetna, jedna z najlepszych produkcji ostatnich lat! Jest nie liniowa i zachwyca detalami. Posiada też oczywiście kilka minusów:
    -Sterowanie kontrolerem -Polski dubbing, gra jest tylko po Angielsku -Wysoki próg wejścia dla nowych graczy -Drobne błędy

    Played this game basically for the exploration and world building just about hate the turn base combat system and if it weren't for that I'd give this game a perfect score it just takes way to long to defeat enemies they really need to add in the setting or something were you can fight like a normal action game.

    Made for a PC. The controls are best with mouse and keyboard. Inventory management is a chore. Very similar to Original Sin 2, with a pseudo-Dnd rules (not 5th - more like Pathfinder 2 action economy). Combat is sloooo2 and prone to exploits that haven't been patched. Good cinematics and story, but just watch a Netflix show.

    The way they worked out the controller to work for something like this is really incredible, and preferable to mouse in keyboard imho. Game of the year by quite a margin in my book. The level of detail the designers put into this game is phenomenal. No, you might not like it if all you play are ARPGs. You will love it if you played any CRPGs in your history, game board or computer type.

    Content is great, but ergonomy and loading times are sometimes abysmal. The design of the game itself forces you to constantly reload and save like crazy, resulting in fustrating trial and error with long loading times.

    I remember the first time I played the Mass Effect trilogy, I was so blown away by the story, the character interactions and the way my decisions could affect the story. I haven’t felt that way about a video game in a long time. Baldurs Gate 3 takes everything I love about Mass Effect and enhances it.

    Additionally, I really like the cameos/easter eggs.

    Impressive how rhis master piece can be played with controller so comfy and smooth.
    Is a must play, game works really fine the only bug i found is with the sound but disabling 3d sound in ps5 configurarion fix it, Larian is working on in and improving the game even more.

    If you loved Divinity Original Sin 2 then this will be the best game you ever played. If you hated Divinity Original Sin you will also Hate this game it is that simple. They are basically the same except Baldurs Gate 3 made it easier to learn and play than Divinity was. This type of game plays best with a mouse and keyboard it is not well suited for consoles IMO. That is pretty much allIf you loved Divinity Original Sin 2 then this will be the best game you ever played. If you hated Divinity Original Sin you will also Hate this game it is that simple.     What to say here that have not been said elsewhere. Game is a masterpiece on how to make a rpg. This should be the blueprint on how to approach and make video games. Great gameplay, story and world that sucks you in and never let go.

    It's absolutly breathtaking how good this game is. The characters are very good written. The world is wonderful designed and the gameplay is so much fun. You have endless oportunities to play this game and i love to explore every path. Thank you larian for this masterpiece and hopefully game of the year!

    One of the best games to come out in recent history, its a bit on the slow side and there's a bit to learn if you aren't into D&D but thankfully Youtube is helping with that, cross save from steam to PS5 works like a charm and the co-op is amazing while its a struggle when your time poor its a game that you can leave for a hit and come back to

Muito gostoso e interessante. Realmente recomendo e nunca havia jogado um jogo assim. Bem diferente de final fantasy, persona, the witcher. Talvez the Witcher seja o que levemente mais pareça. Eu gosto de fire emblem e tem algo levemente semelhante. Então seria uma mistura entre um the witcher 3 com fire emblem nas minhas referências. Universo incrível. O jogo flui. Você senta pra jogar e as coisas se desenvolvem e te envolvem. Muito bom. Já tinha experiências altas e só tinha medo da complexidade. Mas não precisa ter esse medo. Realmente o jogo consegue desenrolar mesmo que te assuste um pouco no início. Mesmo com os leves probleminhas de performance pontuais, para mim, é nota 10.… Expand

Se non ti piace il genere, a meno che tu non ti faccia trascinare dall'entusiasmo degli youtuber, non ti piacerà nemmeno questo. Combattimenti a turni per me noiosi, game play classico di movimentazione personaggi a gregge. Non fa per me. Detto questo, nel genere, ben fatto. Ma nulla più.

    We play with wife on PS5 via split screen. Now we have a lot of new topics to talk together. And we wait for the end of the working day to quickly come home and start playing! The game is very diverse, interesting and beautiful! And we just want to say - many thanks to the developers! This is one of the best games we have ever played!

    Baldurs gate is one of the best D&D style pieces of entertainment I have ever played, the gameplay is smooth and will keep you interested the entire time, the characters and fun and unique to one another and the game has a incredible sense of Humour, highly recommend it if you have the money

    This game is such a joy to play. Great gameplay, great story, amazing world and great characters. After Divinity Original Sin II, this is definitely my favorite game from Larian Studios. Lived it.

    Grandísimo juego. Historia alucinante, sin cinemáticas entre planetas, o al cruzar cada puerta. Quien no diga que es el GOTY de este año, es porqeu no ha salido en su plataforma.

    Aunque mi Series S no lo pueda mover, no se le puede reprochar nada a este juegazo, Larian no tiene la culpa de que mi consola sea un lastre. Hay que ser objetivos y este juego es el GOTY. Lástima que Starfield haya salido truño.

    Impresionante juegazo. Lo tengo tanto en PC como en PS5 y va igual en las dos plataformas. En Xbox todavía no lo he probado… ah no, que no está en Xbox.

    Amazing game with great graphics, gameplay and story. I was afraid that it would be hard to play on PS5 but it really plays very smooth and intuitive. Great job from Larien Studio.

Es mas, si revisas los perfiles de los que están sacando 0 y 1 veras que le dieron un 10 ¿a quien mas?     Bought this for Mac one Early access, played it on Windows (since it’s not fully released on Mac yet and then bought it for PS5. My fave RPG of all time. If this doesn’t win GOTY, I’d be surprised.

    Starting this review off by saying I've played both on PC and PS5 and I'm leaving this review on the PS5 version to offset the review bombs by fanboys that are mad the game isn't currently on Xbox due to the technical issues Larian had with the Series S. My actual score would be a 9.8 if I could make a more customizable score. With the .2 of a point being knocked off for things like theStarting this review off by saying I've played both on PC and PS5 and I'm leaving this review on the PS5 version to offset the review bombs by fanboys that are mad the game isn't currently on Xbox due to the technical issues Larian had with the Series S. My actual score would be a 9.8 if I could make a more customizable score. With the .2 of a point being knocked off for things like the somewhat annoying inventory systems, an example being you can't access inactive companions' inventories leading to clunky management to sort inventories. Also there are some annoyances with the camera and NPCs (generally being friendly NPCs) choosing the dumbest/useless choices/moves in combat. Other than those few things though the game is the closest to a perfect game in years, from the voice acting and characters, to the choices and consequences, and the music is amazing as well, and despite all the variables in scenes the music generally fits perfectly and improves the scenes. The options in both combat and exploration are massive and your class or classes add even more. As this review is for the PS5 version I should mention the controller controls, despite importing my level 12 character finding all my spells and abilities was pretty easy to do (and in some ways even better/easier than with the Keyboard and Mouse controls) and the framerate, other than the actual city of Baldur's Gate, was mostly good/steady, and to get an nearly stable framerate you could use the 30FPS mode as well.… Expand

    Best game of 2023. It gives complete freedom unlike Starfield which is very boring and empty. Every nook and crany in Baldur's Gate 3 is full of stuff. There are different ways to tackle a fight, a scenario or a quest. This is a must try game.

    Just.... Wow. My son, my girlfriend and I are obsessed. My daughter loves to watch and hear. It's really game changing. I loved the idea of D&D but haven't had the luxury to play. I've also played some of the first Baulder's Gate when I was a kid. This has got to be the best video game I've ever played, genuinely. I thought for sure Hogwarts Legacy was going to win GOTY, we're a huge HarryJust.... Wow. My son, my girlfriend and I are obsessed. My daughter loves to watch and hear. It's really game changing. I loved the idea of D&D but haven't had the luxury to play. I've also played some of the first Baulder's Gate when I was a kid. This has got to be the best video game I've ever played, genuinely. I thought for sure Hogwarts Legacy was going to win GOTY, we're a huge Harry Potter family... Baulder's Gate 3 beat my fan bias lol. This game is phenomenal.     It is abundantly clear why this massive adventure took six years to develop from every lovingly sharpened plot hook, every subtle quirk of a party member’s lips, and every new arrangement of that gorgeous, central musical motif. Baldur’s Gate 3 is a glorious lightning strike, pairing talent with timing for not just a worthy successor to the series’ crown, but something truly special in its own right. We’ve no doubt we’ll head back down, down, down by the river to adventure anew for years to come. [Issue#33, p.68]
