The London Case is a better game than the previous on in virtually any expect. It doesn't have the same compelling cast of characters, but its mystery is way more compelling.

Agatha Christie - Hercule Poirot: The London Case follows the footsteps of its predecessor and delivers an excellent mystery worthy of the author's best works. With simple mechanics and an unstable look, however, its best qualities lie in the way the investigation is conducted and in the twists and turns that only good stories in this genre can provide.

Hercule Poirot: The London Case certainly isn't a game without faults, but in the end it offers a worthwhile experience in the long list of games based on one of the most famous detective of literature. Fans of Agatha Christie will definitely have a nice experience.

Weaving an intriguing tale that’s filled with twists and turns, we’ve enjoyed spending some time in Poirot’s shoes and solving the mystery of The London Case. This is a budget title and it shows, but there’s still a lot to like, especially if you’re a fan of traditional point and click adventures. It’s a bit of a journey back in time in that regard, but it’s a valuable addition to the genre nonetheless.

An enjoyable mystery in keeping with the Hercule Poirot you know and love, but not one with much interactivity beyond smashing together evidence. [Issue#32, p.74]

Agatha Christie - Hercule Poirot: The London Case is an enjoyable, if unambitious detective yarn. Though its simplicity might fail to stimulate the tactile minds of more practiced video game sleuths, the resolutely relaxed and accessible detective beats on offer mean that newcomers will find few better introductions to the genre and should probably feel free to add a point to the review score below in the process.
