    I grow tired of Indie games getting fantastic reviews, like Plague Tale and Hades. Sure, they deserve praise and accolades, but do they REALLY deserve to have a spot in the same room as legendary titles like; Last of Us, Red Dead Redemption, Skyrim, Witcher, Metal Gear Solid, GTA, etc.

    Metacritic needs to find a way to balance these ratings. This game was fine, but 82/100 and 8/10 fine?    I grow tired of Indie games getting fantastic reviews, like Plague Tale and Hades. Sure, they deserve praise and accolades, but do they REALLY deserve to have a spot in the same room as legendary titles like; Last of Us, Red Dead Redemption, Skyrim, Witcher, Metal Gear Solid, GTA, etc.

    Metacritic needs to find a way to balance these ratings. This game was fine, but 82/100 and 8/10 fine? Well, if a massive game like SkyrimSE is 81/100 (which has over 300 GOTY awards), how the hell does that even make sense?

    The game itself was, like i said, fun. But absolutely garbage compared to Skyrim. So these rating systems don't hold much integrity anymore it seems.    … Expand

    Good game, I think the gameplay feels a bit slow. However the mood and characters are well done. Would definitely recommend to players who enjoy story-driven third person games.

    it is a good game especially that I didn't have high expectations. not great but good enough to keep you invested till the end.

    Very pleasant game! It sometimes lacks some variety in the way it approaches gameplay, but I had a lot of fun overall. The story is taking, the original voices in French are perfect, and it is one of those games that the spectator likes to watch. Convenient if you like to play games together with someone. It lacks the technical perfection to be very high rated.

    TLDR: The Last of Us France Edition given the Game of Thrones treatment. Fun, pretty and charming if a little clunky mechanics wise. Worth a play.

    gameplay can be annoying but the story is really good but the gameplay just got me bored a lot through out the game and that shouldnt happen in a short linear game

    Ok so I gave it a 7 because I would say God of War is a 9 and The Last of us is a 10, just so you know how I would rate top games. A plagues tale is a great game the best I’ve played this year on PS5. I waited to play the PS5 enhanced version. I owned the game when it went on sale on PSN for $10. Well worth the $10 I would of paid $60 for the game if I knew about it at the time ofOk so I gave it a 7 because I would say God of War is a 9 and The Last of us is a 10, just so you know how I would rate top games.     El videojuego en sí es bastante bueno, tiene una gran historia y luce artísticamente bien. Sin embargo, hay muchos aspectos que desde mi punto de vista estropean la experiencia del usuario.
    Por una parte, la jugabilidad es un problema es algunas ocasiones. En combate, el uso de la honda me parece bastante adecuado, pero en muchas ocasiones no resulta suficiente para combatir con los    El videojuego en sí es bastante bueno, tiene una gran historia y luce artísticamente bien. Sin embargo, hay muchos aspectos que desde mi punto de vista estropean la experiencia del usuario.
    Por una parte, la jugabilidad es un problema es algunas ocasiones. En combate, el uso de la honda me parece bastante adecuado, pero en muchas ocasiones no resulta suficiente para combatir con los enemigos.
    Por otra parte. hay veces en las que, al atravesar con una antorcha un camino con ratas, el tercer acompañante se queda atrás y no te sigue, teniendo que ir otra vez hacia el lugar de donde venías.
    Aunque no todo es malo. La historia en muy buena, y te dan ganas de seguir jugando en todo momento para ver su continuación, además de que todos los personajes tienen sus propias características y personalidades que los hace únicos. También he de decir que, pese a que no está doblado al español, el doblaje al inglés es una maravilla, y los subtítulos en español están perfectamente redactados.
    En definitiva, es un videojuego que sorprende gratamente con su gran historia y personajes, pero que tiene un gran margen de mejora en lo referente a la jugabilidad.

    PD : Desde mi punto de vista, la valoración estaría entre un 8-7, por lo que le doy un 7 con la esperanza de que le pueda subir la nota a su segunda parte.    … Expand

Fluid 60fps, massively improved load times and clever use of haptic feedback all come together to create an unforgettable experience. If you’ve not played this yet - do it. You won’t regret it.

    The new coat of paint that has been generously lavished across A Plague Tale: Innocence enables an already beautiful offering to stand shoulder to shoulder with some of the best games that the PS5 can offer. Hauntingly alluring and utterly arresting in a way that very few games can lay claim to in the last few years, A Plague Tale: Innocence finds its definitive form on PS5 and in doing so ably preps an all-new audience for next year's much anticipated and likely endlessly terrifying sequel.

    With improved graphics and fantastic use of the DualSense, the PS5 is the best place to play A Plague Tale. This is a unique, interesting story which is well worth your time. I just with that playing it was more interesting. Long sections of the game are only saved by strong atmosphere and your connection to these characters. Linear gameplay and controls that don’t hold up well in intense moments lead to frequent frustration and a game which feels like it goes on longer than it needs to. If you know what you’re getting into, however, there’s still enough good in A Plague Tale: Innocence to be worth your time.
