    Good feeling WW2 weapons, and animation on the enemies after they’ve been hit by your weapons feels impactful too.

    But there’s an obscene amount of shooting slow walking zombie enemies which is boring and repetitive as F**K. Shooting 100’s of overly similar brain-dead slow walking enemies - in the same way right from the start over and over again is a huge mistake. Game starts of    Good feeling WW2 weapons, and animation on the enemies after they’ve been hit by your weapons feels impactful too.

    The base game is really good and scores a solid 8 from me, however the DLC prices are nothing short of ridiculous I have never seen anything close to this before in gaming. Three season passes since the game released in early 2020 with a 4th on the way, each pass being 35e so 140e in total for all four! Even if the DLC was 50% off it would still be a huge rip off, Rebellion you make itThe base game is really good and scores a solid 8 from me, however the DLC prices are nothing short of ridiculous I have never seen anything close to this before in gaming.     For those unfamiliar with the Zombie Army series, it's developed by Rebellion, it is a spin-off of the Sniper Elite franchise. It is an action game in the third person in which we can play Solo or coop. The game is to kill thousands of Zombies.

    Have you ever imagined that the Nazis, including Adolf Hitler, who were killed in World War II would suddenly be resurrected as Zombies? Unthinkable, right? It is up to four heroes (Boris, Jun, Karl and Shola) to bury this whole crowd again.

    It isn't surprising if the game is familiar to anyone coming from Sniper Elite, but in this Zombie Army 4: Dead War we have more action and less Stealth. Bullet kill cameras are present as always. It is always great to stop (and see) two or more zombies with a single bullet from our rifle or watch the zombie skulls explode into a thousand pieces. If the user is tired of this, we can always edit Bullet Kill Cameras.

    We have three game modes present in Zombie Army 4: Dead War - Campaign, Horde and the Weekly Event. Let's start with the first one. In the campaign, we first have to do our loadouts, which include primary weapon, secondary weapon, pistol, melee, perk, item mods and our character. Rifles, Assault Rifles, Shotguns and Subamachine Guns are among the few weapons that are present in the game, apart from pistols. And don't forget that weapons can take upgrades (through upgrade kits), Skins, Charms and Reticles. All characters have their strengths and weaknesses.

    There isn't much to say about the campaign. Surviving, Tower defense, killing zombies to unlock certain areas are the main focus in Zombie Army 4: Dead War. In horde mode we have to survive the waves of Zombies (up to 12 waves or more). The base version of the game has four maps: Into the Darkness, Villa Della Morte, Dead in the Water and The Bitter End. Whether in Campaign mode or Horde mode, we have the possibility to choose the difficulty: Easy, Medium and Hard. On this last level of difficulty: enemies are tougher and take more life, bullets are affected by gravity and wind, and Friendly fire is present. But honestly, I felt almost no difference from Easy to Hard. Don't forget that we can use grenades (Frag, Incendiary, Shock) and mines (normal, incendiary, Shock) during the Campaign, Horde or Weekly Event missions, in order to defeat zombie groups more easily.

    In addition, during Campaign missions, in Horde mode or in the Weekly Event, we can use some traps around the area that can be used in our favor: explosive barrels and electrical networks, for example. But be aware that these things are also deadly for us. And don't think that there are just normal Zombies, we have special Zombies like Suicider (loaded with explosives just for us), big Zombies with heavy weapons (which we can also use them during missions) like Heavy MG and Flamethrower and so on forward. And finally, we have the Weekly Event mode. If you like weekly challenges, this is the right way for you. It is a way with certain rules for us to pass the challenge. For example: Dead Ahead map (Campaign), medium difficulty, no secondary weapon.

    Regarding the online cooperative mode, in the few games I made, I feel that Rebellion's netcode in this Zombie Army 4: Dead War is strange, even with the best connections. Because when I fire a bullet from my Rifle at the enemy, it looks like it takes almost a second to hit the target. Even at close range. It is something that in my opinion does not fit. For those who want offline co-op, Zombie Army 4: Dead War is not for you because it doesn't have offline co-op.

    Unfortunately in visual terms Zombie Army 4: Dead War is nothing special and I think it could have been better worked, even with the quality option (30 FPS). Fortunately, we also have the “Performance” option that guarantees us 60 FPS’s on the PS4 Pro. The soundtrack also goes completely unnoticed. As if that were not enough, Rebellion has to make some adjustments to the subtitles because they are too small. Overall the game itself isn't bad; it's really fun and there's funny things like Bullet kill Cameras and Weekly Events, but little else. The lack of offline co-op and some technical aspects that could be better make Zombie Army 4: Dead War an average game.    … Expand

Кто любил и любит Sniper Elite будут крайне довольны, все всякого сомнения! Отличная игра!     Immersive and KILLER design...you want to have a blast while having the crap scared out of you? Forget any of these mediocre reviews. Play this gsmeon hardest level and you will be challenged. So many levels to go through...crazy deep world. I own 80+ games..this one rocks.

    I just bought the game today and this the first game Im gonna rate for the PS4 and in an official review site and so far I have a good time playing it even only for 2 hours. For me it's a good game for killing time.

    I am now playing this new Zombie Army 4 which I was waiting for with great enthusiasm.
    The game is a lot of fun and really too addictive. This title is not a spin off like the Zombie Army Trilogy but a completely new title full of elements that were absent in the ZAT. In fact in Zombie Army 4 we will have to enhance the various weapons as we level up, each character will be able to take advantage of special melee attacks (which will recharge over time), final moves and finally we will be able to choose 5 particular "skills" among the about 30 available (each of which confers offensive, defensive or strategic advantages). To conclude, each character has particular advantages or disadvantages (someone is more resistant to bullets, others to melee attacks etc ...)
    However it must be admitted that this title, although the gunplay is very fun and adrenaline, differs greatly from the Sniper Elite series for a simple and obvious reason: in this title the core of the series has been completely denatured, that is the importance and role of the sniper. In Zombie Army Trilogy "pro players" used only sniper rifles (the primary weapon) because the secondary weapons and pistols were really not very powerful and effective: the "Sniper Rifle Was The Real Protagonist" because the title was precisely a spin off of the Sniper Elite series ! In Zombie Army 4 instead the use of the primary weapon has become almost superfluous because, especially the secondary weapons, they have been so exaggeratedly enhanced that they are the best choice in 90% of the circumstances    … Expand

    This game is FUN AS HELL ! Graphics are beautiful so is the art work . I’m a 40 years old man that as played video games for 32 years . Now I’m more of a casual player and I can go for years sometimes without playing cause I just don’t have enough time . COVID allowed me to jump back in video game’s HARD . I have played everything in the last 5 months on both console . From doom eternal toThis game is FUN AS HELL ! Graphics are beautiful so is the art work . I’m a 40 years old man that as played video games for 32 years . Now I’m more of a casual player and I can go for years sometimes without playing cause I just don’t have enough time . Among those game I found sniper elite 4 and I love it . Then a few days ago on my quest to find a other great Game I found out that the studio that make sniper elite had a zombie game .     فكرة اللعبة أنك تواجه الزومبي واللي أهم في نفس الوقت NAZI على حسب قصة اللعبة. الشي الجميل باللعبة أن فيها قصة بالإضافة إلى طور Horde اللي مشابه في فكرته إلى طور الزومبي بكول أوف ديوتي. قصة اللعبة ما تطول وممكن تحس إن في تكرار في بعض الأمور وراح تمل من اللعبة بعد فتره إذا كنت تلعب بروحك ولكن إذا كنت تلعب مع ربعك (بحد أقصى أربعة لاعبين) راح تستانس وتحس أن اللعبة جدا ممتعة مع العلم أن القصةفكرة اللعبة أنك تواجه الزومبي واللي أهم في نفس الوقت NAZI على حسب قصة اللعبة. الشي الجميل باللعبة أن فيها قصة بالإضافة إلى طور Horde اللي مشابه في فكرته إلى طور الزومبي بكول أوف ديوتي. قصة اللعبة ما تطول وممكن تحس إن في تكرار في بعض الأمور وراح تمل من اللعبة بعد فتره إذا كنت تلعب بروحك ولكن إذا كنت تلعب مع ربعك (بحد أقصى أربعة لاعبين) راح تستانس وتحس أن اللعبة جدا ممتعة مع العلم أن القصة بعد تقدر تلعبها مع ربعك. طريقة اللعب بشكل عام عاديه وصراحه ما شفت فيها اي شي يميزها عن الألعاب الثانية باستثناء بعض الأمور البسيطة. الفكرة أن الاعب له لفل وكل ما تلعب يزيد لفلك والقدرة أنك تقدر تطور أسلحتك شي يخليك ما تمل من اللعبة بسرعة ويحسسك أن ودك تكمل ولكن في نفس الوقت تطوير الأسلحة باللعبة ما يأخذ وقت كبير وكنت أتمنى لو كان في تطويرات أكثر لنفس السلاح. تصوير اللعبة والرسومات بسيطة وكل شي في عالم اللعبة ثابت باستثناء بعض الصناديق. شكل الأسلحة نفسهم تحسه قديم ولا كأنها لعبة نازلة بعام 2020. لكن فكرة اللعبة وطريقة اللعب يتوافقون مع تصويرها لحد ما. من ناحية الأصوات والمؤثرات الصوتية بكل اختصار أشوفها عادية لا إنها قوية وتشدك ولا إنها سيئة. على الرغم من أن بشكل عام اللعبة تبينلك من اي اتجاه الزومبي موجود على الشاشة إلا إن بعض الأماكن الصوت ممكن يوضحلك هذا الشي ايضا ولكن في أماكن اخرى الصوت ما يكون دقيق. بالنهاية إذا عندك قروب تلعب معاه أنصحك في اللعبة ولكن إذا بتلعبها بروحك ما أشوفها تسوى.

    من الآخر:

    1- العبة جيده بشكل عام وقصتها ما تطول وممكن تحس أن فيها تكرار إلى حد ما.
    2- نظام تطوير الأسلحة والاعب (لفل الاعب) يشجعك أنك تستمر باللعب.
    3- اللعب لوحدك ممكن يكون ملول ولكن إذا لعبت اللعبة مع قروب/ربعك راح تستانس وتحس أن اللعبة جدا ممتعة.

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. The most awesome thing in Zombie Army 4: Dead War, which couldn’t have hoped for better timing.sometimes when we kill its zombies are also Nazis, you get a super-gross slow-mo kill. (You have gun, some zombies and have fun.)
    A simplified Horde mode exists as well, if you just want to stick to one location and see how many waves you can take on while experimenting with different weapons.
    Exciting sound track that feels like it comes straight out of the 1985 George A. Romero zombie film classic, Day of the Dead – my only complaint about the music being I wish it were mixed louder and piped in more often.
    Other running and gunning the way you shoot zombies encourages you to confront the walking dead in a more nuanced way: Getting a certain number of kills unlocks special abilities, like overpowered sniper shots or hyper-fast shotgun reloading, but you also get a chance to recover health by pulling off up-close kills. Killing a certain number of zombies from a distance to earn the right to run in and recover some health adds a layer of strategic dismemberment to the mindless slaughter.
    The levels don’t look radically different, but they all have interesting layouts that are fun to explore and are creepy and unsettling in their own way.
    The gun upgrade system, however, is initially exciting but can hit a wall.
    On the technical side, I didn’t run into any connection issues, but I did have some general bugs.
    In open area maps the enemies can come from several different directions and you always have to be on the move and aware of your surroundings.
    you can't depend on single weapon too much, and need to utilise each weapon properly.
    the enemies and also designed in variety of different ways but different strength.
    there is a progression system which encourages one to play.
    Don't get me wrong but "The game doesn't look bad but it doesn't look great either. It looks serviceable. The environment are the most detailed. the characteristics are weired plastic quality. animations aren't smoothest .    … Expand

    Recieved the game for free with PS+ and was pleasantly surprised by the game. Very campy and lacking in depth, but I think the developer goal was just to make blowing the limbs off of hordes of zombies with a sniper rifle feel fun and satisfying. In that regard they succeeded. A great casual coop romp.

There is a lot to work on in the game in the form of challenges, upgrades, maxing out your weapons, unlocking new things, finding collectibles. The trophies are also fun to obtain. The guns are all satisfying to use. FeelsFun online 4 player co op zombie game. Quite a bit of content to get through with the campaign and horde mode. The game is quite fun to play with other people. There is a lot to work on in the game in the form of challenges, upgrades, maxing out your weapons, unlocking new things, finding collectibles. The trophies are also fun to obtain. The guns are all satisfying to use. Feels great to pull off headshots. One thing I really loved about the game was the music that came on when a huge horde wave would be coming. It really nailed the feel of a zombie apocalypse and got you in the mood to kill zombies.     Zombie Army 4 is a good relaxing, brainless shooter. One that is simple enough to enjoy after a long day. It's best to play it in multiplayer, it improves the experience a lot. Shame the game has a plethora of overpriced DLCs. $40 for three new levels is an abomination.

    really this game is amazing ...good gameplay mechanics with decent graphics ... it is very funny and you can enjoy it with your friend because it offers you co-op playing . i give this game 9/10 ... good job Rebelion studio games.

    Muy buen juego, muy divertido y con una jugabilidad bastante buena. La historía no está mal y no hace falta jugar a los juegos anteriroes para entender mucho.

    Han innovado pero también han abusado demasiado de los DLC (mapas a 7 euros y armas a 4 euros) que estropean la experiencia de juego. They have innovated but have also abused too much DLC (maps at 7€ and weapons at 4€) that spoil the game experience.

Из минусов выделю донат, стрельбу . А так игра - годная. Лучше Ghost Warrior. Ту не осилили.Веселая игрушка. С другом прошли на ура! По 1-2 эпизоду за вечер проходили, потом приедается.     I have been playing videogames since 7 years old and started with the Intellivision II. I decided to create an account here to tell you guys that this game is the MOST FUN i have ever had. This game is the game i wanted for more than a DECADE. I have never had so much fun in many years!!! TOTALY RECOMMENDED!!!!

    Its a fun game, takes me back to the days playing L4D with my boys. Gunplay is great and the B movie 80's atmosphere elevates and makes it even more fun. Get some friends together and play a couple hours and it'll a fun time

My favorite part of ZA4 is how awesome the upgrades for your weapons are, you can turn an average shotgun into a phlogistinator? From the beginning to the 7th level i have experienced no bugs or glitches whatsoever, good game!

    I tried this game and played it for 50 or 60 hours and I think I already have a good criticism, I already give it up but that does not mean that it is a bad game. First and foremost, the game was only enjoyed in 4-player zombies difficult configuration, which increases the zombies by 4, which makes there are zones with like 100 zombiez. Another problem that I saw many people complaining,I tried this game and played it for 50 or 60 hours and I think I already have a good criticism, I already give it up but that does not mean that it is a bad game. First and foremost, the game was only enjoyed in 4-player zombies difficult configuration, which increases the zombies by 4, which makes there are zones with like 100 zombiez. Another problem that I saw many people complaining, that zombies are very slow, and if it is true, but apart from the fact that they hold a lot of bullets, there are several zombies that are very fast and that will reach you easily, forcing you to move, and I'm not even talking about the officers, which forces you to go to the root of the entire horde exposing yourself completely to finish off that officer, which makes for constant action. And the biggest problem without a doubt is monetization. Apart from the fact that there are many maps that are paid and you can only get costumes by paying, the biggest problem of all is the DLC weapons, I think I should not explain what they are. It is true that there are VERY good weapons without the DLCs, but there are a few DLC weapons that simply destroy, like the Mortar Rifle and the Springfield, which causes a pay to win. This pay to win most of the time is not noticeable but it is very annoying.
    Now in conclusion, do I recommend it? Yes. I alredy get bored with the game but I must admit that I seriously had a VERY fun time of 40 or 50 hours, and considering that the game is 50 dollars, I absolutely recommend it. Even so, resident evil is a game that lasts one or 2 sessions, that is, 30 or 40 hours and it is still a great game that many people buy, including me.    … Expand

    One of the best horde shooters. Fun campaign, great visuals, sounds and music. Pretty creepy at times. Really sound weapon sounds and feedback, you just can't get enough of those meaty, chunky zombie slo-mo kills. Tons of customisation - weapons, attachments, perks (for the player AND weapons) characters, skins.

    This game is a blast, especially after a rough day. It defines the trope "just turn your brain off for a while and shoot." No puzzles, no mazes, not too much key hunting. If you like COD Zombies, WWZ, L4D, etc ... you'll enjoy this game. The graphics aren't anything to write home about but fast loading times are the upshot of that. Also has great weapon selection and customization.

    The single-player story mode was a lot of fun. When the people in front of you are zombies, the subject of artificial intelligence is not very noticeable. Nice bit of game to clear your head. Also, controller support is very good.

    Sharp, gritty visuals, clever level design, and a John Carpenter-esque soundtrack all contribute towards creating an oppressive, dank, B-movie vibe that's almost as much fun to plough through solo as it is co-op. Plus, there's a zombie shark in it. If that hasn't piqued your interest you're probably already undead.

    Zombie Killing is always better with friends and Zombie Army 4 doesn’t buck that trend. Don’t buy this if you lack playing partners but if you have some Zombie slaying mates it is a blast.
