Mar 29, 2018World of Warriors is a melee action game with tons of special powers and modifiers, and a frantic yet deep gameplay. The single player campaign offers a good variety of events and locations, and unlocks that do not need in-App purchases (although grinding remains mandatory if you want to succeed in the boss fights). A great and addictive time-consuming experience, even on PlayStation 4.
-
Mar 24, 2018This is one of those games you can enjoy playing locally with your friends, but its lack of depth makes it less appealing for the long run.
-
Mar 26, 2018For some, local co-op may be worth the price of admission, but for those without others to play with, the asking price may be a bit too steep at launch.
-
Jun 3, 2018World of Warriors lacks a bit of fun in the design of its arenas, and a touch of velocity in its gameplay to become the true action party-game it aspires to be. Just like Power Stone was way back then.

Playstation Official Magazine UKMay 9, 2018It's that need to unlock and level a new historical hero that spurs you on. [May 2018, p.80]
-
Apr 19, 2018It should also be said that the PS4 version offers a small share of the heroes available on mobile, a choice that makes it even more difficult to recommend the purchase of the product, especially considering the imbalance between its price (€ 29.99) and the actual quality supply.

Apr 13, 2018Got a household of bored kids on a rainy weekend? World of Warriors has just enough charm and interest to keep them busy for a day or two. Yet while it has depth and a few good ideas, it’s not compelling enough or varied enough to hold their interest for any longer. It has a whole bunch of warriors, but not the heart or soul of a great fighting game.
-
Apr 11, 2018World of Warriors is a very simple game, with some good ideas but without any advanced mechanics. The combat system is poor and also the aesthetics of the characters. The porting from mobile platform on console doesn't benefit to the production that remains an experience dedicated to young kids accustomed to mobile games.
-
Apr 9, 2018World of Warriors is a pretty entertaining title which excels in coop gameplay. Tactical gameplay isn't really required since button bashing your way through the game works just as well, although this quickly results in repetitive gameplay. The choice in lots of different characters negates this repetition somewhat but ultimately it never really excels in anything. A forgettable title which soon wears thin.

Mar 22, 2018World of Warriors is truthfully not a very memorable game and not one that will have you jumping out of your seat to buy. It does a lot of things well and has a beautiful art style but its lack of ambition means it’s safe and but also easily replaceable.
-
Apr 2, 2018Although World of Warriors wants to be more than a time-waster, it falls short to its own ambitions. It's true that it greatly improves on the mobile version, especially when it comes to controls, but there is not enough interesting content to justify the high price.

Apr 2, 2018World of Warriors tries to be the same funny game that succeeded in Android and iOS, but it is almost the same game and it feels too repetitive.
