    I have just beaten the game and found it thoroughly entertaining. This has gotten me into trying out the rest of the new franchise games. The characters were both good. Cheesy, eighties and fun. The co-op mechanic was great, it rarely let me down on single player. The story was a little short but reflected in the price.     how in the world is this game at 2.6 on here???? I have played just about every first person shooter out there this game is at least a 7. co-op check ...double jump check ...killing nazis check.... grab a nazis gun and shoot him in the face check.... grabbing ledges check ...progression balance check. peak out of cover check.... it might not have the epic bj story line but as far as gamehow in the world is this game at 2.6 on here????     Its not as bad as people say it is a fun game to play with friends might not be as good as the new order of New colossus but its a fun game. Also you can make the shotgun a assault rifle.

    This one differs much from what we got used to. It takes some time to get used to this one, too. There are few drawbacks, let's start here.

    The first one is the repetitive structure that takes you to the same levels on and on. The second one - you will not possibly like the two sisters.     But there are pros.

    First, it's still the good Wolfenstein, shooting is still fun here. Yes, it can be painfully difficult but in case of trouble, you can just lower the difficulty (I did my first run on "Easy").
    Then, the setting is still really interesting, there a lot of nice details showing how a hypothetical Paris could look like under the Nazi regime in 80s.

    It's not as good as the New Order or the New Colossus but if you liked the prequels, this one could still fit you. And, it comes at half price.    … Expand

    I loved the Wolfenstein: Youngblood. It has some light rpg elements, superpowers, and very well designed levels what make silent approach possible. It's like a Dishonored with a nazi world, with really breathtaking visuals.
    The game is very-very hard if your level below the suggested levels, but it can be explained with that the protagonists are 19 years old girls.

    I think the harsh criticism is largely unfounded. this is an excellent modern Co-op shooter. It plays like Doom, with fast paced combat an varied encounters. It has a basic, level up system which provides enough reason to do the limited side missions. The co-op features, such are the 'peps', are a welcome encouragement to play with someone else.     Bad points: Characters are a bit annoying (but turn down the audio and chat to your partner instead, you're not playing this for the story) Weapon switching is tedious, collectibles are pointless.

    Summary: If you're looking for single player, rich story, or female objectification, buy something else. If you want a decent co-op game with modern pacing and features, this is gold.    … Expand

    better level design than Wolfenstein new collosuss I was really frustrated with levels in that game this one youngblood is fun to explore and find all the hidden collectables and areas really free flowing.

PLEnty of abilities and powerups, good variety of enemy types.     (Price) £25 here in the UK what a great price for the amount of content you get I was never exspecting wolfenstien 3 that was never ever stated by the developers that was what this was going to be this was advertised as a spin off game a side story that did a minor reboot and the world events within the wolfenstien universe. Also or ab exstra 10 bucks your freind gets a copy of the game this game is tremendous value I dont know all these comments saying 60bucks comes from its hallf that price at least in the uk.I'll
    IM a wolfenstien fan and I love this game had a blast playing it.
    Cons- Saveing system needs changing checkpoint system is bad
    -some grinding needed to upgrade character also same levels used for various side missions
    Also shorter in terms of missions than any previous entry but for £25 £35 what do you exspect.
    Story is a prequal to the main event of wolfenstein 3 if that ever gets made now because of the hate train against this game. ANd the story can reflect that its not as grand as previous 2 main entries.

    Overall its worth your time dont overly believe the hate train do your own research.

    I agree with others that this is very different from other games of Bethesda's past I completed the game solo and was pleasantly surprised I loved the story and the gameplay is great!

    I had fun playing it in singal player. It was my 1st Wolfenstein game. The plot twist was easy to see coming, but i liked it. im going to try and speedrun it. I dont get all the hate, its a fun game

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. I’m gonna say that no it’s not a perfect game and it’s not exactly what I was expecting. However I felt the story was a nice change and kinda cleared some things up timeline wise. But they don’t bring up Wyatt and Ferguson which I feel makes sense but kinda makes me upset at the same time. They were important and yet they aren’t mentioned. Either way I feel like it’s gettjng a bad rep just because some things were wrong. The graphics weren’t the best and the game wasn’t very long. It’s also somewhat repetitive. However the story is good. The plot twist is kinda neat and seeing a few characters you know return and be mentioned is a nice touch. It leaves the player wanting more and sequel baits in a good way. It leaves it up to imagination of what’s to come. The final boss fight is one of my favorites of the series and it uses the multiplayer feature. However this does get annoying if you don’t wanna play online. Speaking of the multiplayer its somewhat broken. I was playing while hosting a game and I was level 32 or something and I was far into the story. Far enough for major spoilers. And then out of the blue a level two joined me. I felt so bad that the story would’ve been spoiled that I made an excuse to leave then hopped back on. If they had balanced it out more like you could only join people around the same level as you I think it would be better. Alright this next topic is more of my own opinion so if you don’t agree go ahead but I feel like if a game is gonna let you play after you’ve beaten it, it should reward you. This game does not do that. All you earn is more sidequests. Glitches. There are glitches. Pretty game breaking ones too. I feel if they patched up the game and made the graphics better and got rid of the glitches this review would be a 9. But the game developers can’t get rid of every glitch. It’s what makes games interesting. Just the game breaking ones would be nice.… Expand

    Honestly it's a solid 8 /10 game and co op spinoff done generally well. Giving it 10 to pissoff the angry incels triggered by Alien WahMens.

    Good paced shooter. Runs well on PS4 Pro (even in co-op). Story not as strong as in the main titles of the Wolfenstein games, but okay. Is quite a lot of fun with a friend.

    Totally DISAGREE with the low scores in this game, how it's possible the previous wolfenstein is 8.7 score without co-op, without rpg touches, without all technical improvements in this new game, youngblood is much better than prevous wolfenstein and the game is magnificent!, semi-open world ,customisable weapons etc... great game!.

Story is not the main focus of the game but the characters: Jess and Soph are very sympathetic characters with a lot of humor and quick-wittedness.     This game is being massively review bombed by whiny incels and by Nazis the world over. Boys who cant deal with the thought of playing female protagonists who kill Nazis. Bottom line: if you like/love Wolfenstein games, you'll thoroughly enjoy this. Its really that simple

    So much hate for no reason, this game is looks awesome, ok the story and the characters are not that good as in the previous Wolfenstein episodes but it's just a spin-off for a low price. Totally worth it if you like this Wolfenstein world.

Por lo demás es un muy buen título, menor, de 30€, pero que cumple con creces y ofrece mucho más juego que muchos otros del género. De notable tranquilamente.

А вот геймплей все еще лучший в жанре, стрельба из дробовика очень крутая, дизайн локаций и оружия на высоком уровне, детализация, музыка, все отлично. Тем более за половину прайса, я получил даже больше чем хотел, в итоге даже коллектоболсы все собрал.     Я не понимаю авторов, зачем придумывать сюжет про вроде взрослых девиц, выносящих супер фрицев тысячами, разрывая их на части. При том ведущих себя как 12 летние пацаны с этими жопно-сартирными шутками, "буу" из-за угла, как два пальца обоссаными пальцами и т.д.

    Феминизм льется рекой. Все сюжетные герои женщины, кроме двоих. Это сам Би Джей (хотя исходя из сюжета второй части не понятно мужчина он или андроид?), а также антагонист игры.
    Сюжет подается странно, а конкретно в первой и последней главе. Все остальные задания звучат как "Иди найди", "Иди убей", "Иди принеси".
    Теперь о хорошем. По своей структуре это совершенно другая игра, не похожая на предыдущие игры данной серии. И мне это нравится! С оговоркой. В игре сумасшедший бэктрекинг с возрождающимися врагами, но это, я думаю, связано с новой системой прокачки. И это полностью убило стелс, так как первый раз уровень проходить по стелсу можно, но в десятый.....
    Добавили хорошую прокачку персонажа. В прошлых частях она была, какая то тупая. "Убей 50 фашистов в голову, чтобы увеличить объем магазина", "Убей 3х за раз гранатой, чтобы увеличить боезапас", "Собери 200 ед. аптечек за 10 сек" и тд. Бегаешь тупо пол игры с оружием, которое тебе не нравится, что бы чето получить, к этому оружию отношения не имеющее. А так же некоторые нужные апгрейды выдавались за такие жопораздирающие достижения, что...... ё моё.
    Теперь же все нужные "перки" достижимы. Прокачка оружия стала отдельной от навыков и это здорово!
    Далее сюжет. Хотя он короткий и не затейливый, но..... окончание оставляет ОЧЕНЬ хороший задел для Wolfenstein 3.
    Еще шутан. Это выше всех похвал! На мой взгляд, лучший в этой серии.
    Так что моё мнение: выкинуть весь этот детский феминизм, расширить сюжет, сделать одного харизматичного протагониста и была бы лучшая игра в серии.    … Expand

    Whether or not you enjoy Wolfenstein: Youngblood is going to depend on a lot of factors. If you loved the previous games for their narrative depth, linear story, and simplified gameplay, this might be a tough sell for you. Youngblood is still fundamentally Wolfenstein in almost every way that matters but, like its rookie heroines, it’s a little unpolished and rough around the edges. If you’re looking for something new, innovative, and daring, and can overlook a few flaws (some more glaring than others) then it’s time to suit up, gear up, and once again prove that the only good Nazi is a dead one.

    Even if you only want to do the main missions and enough side-content to level up sufficiently, you’ll get at least ten to 12 hours of play. What’s interesting is the endgame, providing daily and weekly challenges, and allowing you to replay missions for extra XP. Solo this will become tiring, but with a friend? Any excuse to kill Nazis is a good excuse. [Issue#166, p.79]

    At $30, I expected a short but dense Wolfenstein experience with two new protagonists and a tangible narrative thread connecting them to the original games, their father B.J. Blazkowicz. What we got was a horrible imitation of the rest of the series, complete with an absolutely senseless plot, unacceptably bad and annoying characters, and joyless combat. I find that a weak plot can be forgiven if gameplay is flawless and satisfying, and sometimes weaker gameplay can be ignored in favor of an incredible story, but you cannot botch BOTH aspects and expect people to like your game.
