    The French publisher and developer Dotemu have really outdone themselves with "Windjammers 2" and it's really fun. The rather small scope and the price-performance ratio can be criticized. But it's simply fun to hit the frisbee around our opponents' ears again. The flair of the 90s is also really fun and with a lot of practice you can achieve a lot.     This game Is so funny! Complicated also but once you underdtand all the commands It became really Dope!

    Windjammers 2 is shallow, but it’s fun – unless you’re playing alone, then things get old fast. Stick to human opponents though, and you’ll definitely give a disc toss. [Issue#11, p.84]

    If you enjoyed the original game, then you’re going to like what DotEmu delivers in the Windjammers 2. While I’m not a fan of taming the power-ups, I am a fan of competitive disc games that remind me how cool TRON was back in the 80s. Windjammers 2 is an easy-to-pick-up arcade experience that has far more positives than negatives.

    Windjammers 2 is a complete blast that excels in the same way that the original 1994 neo geo title did and with the local and online modes it really is an easy recommendation for fun pick-up-and-play evenings with others, but there are just a few niggling gameplay issues that prevent this from fulfilling its full potential.
