    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. This game is absolute garbage and part of the long, cursed history of world of darkness titles getting shafted for money. The game starts off overwhelming you with characters that you do not care about and then tries to fire you up when they get killed. This project was rushed and it shows. I feel bad because I love the series and really wish it would fall into the hands of caring developers but that has yet to happen.… Expand

    Conclusão: o game mistura stealth com hack slash, o que é extremamente arriscado já que um gênero é o extremo oposto um do outro, na execução funciona parcialmente mas nada muito refinado, o enredo do jogo é uma critica social ao desmatamento do meio ambiente e o stealth vem em decorrencia disso para investigar empresas que causam esse desastre ambiental, o tema é interessante mas o desevolvimento nem tanto já que os personagens que acompanham não possuem tanta carisma, o game me lembra um pouco Vampyr mas esta longe de ser tão bom quanto, recomendo este jogo caso queira acompanhar o enredo pois jogar simplesmente pela gameplay pode se tornar extremamente repetitivo com partes de stealth e hack slash se repetindo sem muita diversificação.    … Collapse

    Juego flojo por muchos motivos. Puedo entender que haya gente que lo suspenda si se esperaba encontrar un RPG de Acción. Aquí lo único que hay de RPG es un árbol de habilidades bastante escueto. Eso no es suficiente para considerar un juego del género RPG. Este juego no pertenece a ese género.

Puedo entender que haya gente que lo suspenda si se esperaba encontrar un RPG de Acción. Aquí lo único que hay de RPG es un árbol de habilidades bastante escueto. Eso no es suficiente para considerar un juego del género RPG. Este juego no pertenece a ese género.

    Werewolf:The Apocalypse - Earthblood es una aventura en tercera persona que mezcla varias mecánicas principales: El hack 'n slash o beat 'em up cuando nuestro personaje se convierte en licántropo y sigilo cuando somos humano o lobo y estas mecánicas están bien implementadas, funcionan. ¿Cual es el problema? Pues sencillamente que es siempre lo mismo, nivel tras nivel, misión tras misión. Estas se reducen a infiltrarse en un complejo de la empresa contra la que peleamos. Deshacernos de todos los guardias de la habitación por medio del sigilo y si no podemos con el sigilo convertirnos en licántropo y hacerlos pedazos. Si la misión se pone difícil, nada, le das al R1, te conviertes y los aniquilas a todos.... que aún así por lo que sea te cuesta, no hay problema, llenas la barra de frenesí dando hostias, entras en frenesí y ahí.... eres imparable, ni jefes ni hostias, todos deshechos.

    Aparte de lo monótono del gameplay los gráficos no son precisamente de última generación, o por lo menos no lo parecen. No me gusta quejarme de los gráficos, me gustan los juegos retro, pero es que los modelos, incluso en las cinemáticas parecen muy robóticos. Es algo que salta mucho a la vista. Nada más comenzar el juego te darás cuenta. Y esto hace que el juego ya no se venda bien con la primera impresión.

    Porque lo apruebo entonces? Vamos a ver, no es injugable, ni mucho menos y tiene partes que les han quedado logradas. Hay combates contra jefes muy espectaculares, las cosas son como son. Y aunque es monótono el gameplay la historia me ha parecido potable para una peli de serie B disparatada de domingo por la tarde, de estas que te enganchan como un culebrón.

    No lo recomiendo a no ser que tuvieras mucha curiosidad como me pasó a mi cuando vi el anuncio. Es un juego del montón y tengo entendido que salio a un precio bastante elevado. Yo lo he alquilado y me ha dado para unas 10 o 12 horas de partida. A otra cosa    … Expand

    I enjoyed it a first but after a while, it started to get very boring and repetitive that I just wanted it to be over and done with. don't get wrong I still had fun with the game and it did have it's moments but I wouldn't play it again and **** the worms.

    If you love Werewolves then you must play this game. It's so much fun and definitely one of the better Werewolf games around.

    Loads of fun in terms of combat. The game actually made me really enjoy stealth! Which is something I've always struggled with in games. Graphically I think it's a pretty damn pretty game, the only thing that lets it down is the NPC character models. I enjoyed the story, the look of the areas, the main character as well as their badass werewolf models!

    The combat mechanics are clunky. The camera fails miserably. The story could essentially not exist and it probably would create a better game in the sense that you wouldn't have expectations.
    The in-game graphics are the kind of thing that's unbelievably cool for early 2000's games.
    There's zero real customability when it comes to equipment unless you pay extra and get a couple of more skins, but in game? Forget about it. same weapon all along, same old same old.
    The sneaking around can be fun, but the combat and reaction is so clunky that half the time you can do something, and half not... like ambushing someone that's about to discover you.
    The main character has zero personality as well. He has the emotional range of an anvil, and the fact that he can rage at all is a miracle onto itself, given how his reactions to people close to him dying are delivered as flatly as humanly possible.
    The other characters (background in the Caern) are just... meh? Just there doing nothing until you talk to them. Hell, even in 8-bit games NPCs moved around and did stuff, you know? At the beginning of the game (no spoiler) your daughter is waiting for things to happen... a teen... just standing there like she's made of wood. You can literally go to her and won't even be able to talk to her until you finish a flag and talk to someone else. That's... lazy.
    Only good thing is the sneaking... up a point. And that point saves this from being a 1.    … Expand

    1/10 -> The human form is laughably bad for the stealth section after what they achieved in their Styx series. You auto-crouch for some reason (with no crouch button) and the crossbow does the aiming for you. The enemy AI will always have their asses facing you or they're moving away from    8/10 -> Just pretend the werewolf mode is the only mode in the game and you will have a lot of fun.

    5/10 -> The wolf form is there just to zip around the map. You can't even do a wolf chomping on the enemy's neck take-down. He auto shape-shifts back to his human form. Why?!

    So many odd decisions with the story presentation to crossbow ammo being placed everywhere in the enemy base to copy pasta tiny potted plants that give you spirit XP...if you turn on your Penumbra vision.

    Giving an 8 just so that they'll stay in business. Just make Styx 3 or something like it.    … Expand

    Joguei muito RPG de queria muito que esse jogo fosse muito parecido com Vampiro a Mascara, mas não vou mentir que sou fã de WEREWOLF: THE APOCALYPSE dos livros

    This game had so much potential. The repetition settles in very fast. I wouldve given it a 7 if the developers added dismemberment, but it lost points for that. Why make a werewolf game when you cant even rip your enemies to shreds? Anyway dont make the same mistake i did. This game is worth maybe 5 dollars at the most. Very dissapointed.

    When i first saw this badarse looking, hard core masculine looking Were Wolf beater slasher I thought it could be the perfect game.
    It is not !!!,its pretty trash. Everything is low tallent, low budget , unfinished and just dated in every way. Combat is some fun, the skill tree is passable. But stealth is brocken , its like ps2 stealth. The biggest insault is the npcs facial animations.    When i first saw this badarse looking, hard core masculine looking Were Wolf beater slasher I thought it could be the perfect game.

    I do not recommend this game. It is extremely linear. It is essentially a game book. You are led from conversation to conversation, each one in turn. You are then led into a mission. The missions begin as stealth-game over if you are detected. But the AI is almost non-existent.     Each mission transitions from a stealth area to an area you're free to openly attack if you wish. This is the only part of the game that's fun-using the Crinos form to wreak havoc. It doesn't last long enough. This layout and pattern of stealth to havoc is basically copy/pasted through the whole game, with little variation.

    Near the end of missions, and in between missions there are cut scenes with graphics that would be more at home on a PS2. The writing and dialogue in these scenes is painfully shallow.

    Overall, Werewolf: The Apocalypse - Earthblood is a game with a great premise but it fails to hit the mark. Players will find themselves torn between the more enjoyable stealth gameplay and the more efficient open combat approach, all while clunky dialogue and distracting animations plague the cutscenes and interactions with other characters.

    Werewolf: The Apocalypse - Earthblood is a forgettable and disappointing adventure. The World of Darkness is rife with potential, but Cyanide squanders it with this dated action adventure title.
