Once I pushed past the odd tone and approach to the game, though, I had a really good time with this one. It’s not a classic by any means, but it’s different, interesting, and often quite clever. This is a developer with a bright future.

Long version: Played this game as local co-op. The graphics are quite mediocre, but I thought I would be able to forgive that if the story and gameplay were good. THEY WERE NOT. At first my gf and I were laughing in disbelief when one of the dwarves got stuck in a cave after we had been playing only for 2 minutes. We had to restart and were able get to the 2nd area. The controls are really clunky; the game is somewhat similar to an RTS in that there's some delay between issuing a command and when the attack takes place. In a game where you control one dwarf at a time (unlike an actual RTS where you have several units), it is a really bad idea and EVEN MORE terribly executed. Controlling the dwarf and selecting targets is awkward. It makes the gameplay REALLY terrible. (I'm guessing the PC version lets one player control all three of them.) The sound effects are repetitive and like everything else, of low quality. We tried, REALLY tried to enjoy the game but soon the laughter turned into frustration as I realized that not only did I waste a few hours loading the game and then trying to play it, I also actually PAID for that awful piece of ****. Do not buy this game. Let me reiterate: No matter how much you like dwarves, DON'T BUY THIS GAME. Expand
