    I enjoyed it. For a free to play game it is absolutely worth a shot. Yeah, the controls aren't as perfect as a Call of Duty game but it still provides a pleasurable and very competent experience.

    A friend and I are actually having a blast with the spec ops missions. Not enough FPS games, even AAA titles, have such creative and challenging co-op mission experiences, or lately, no co-op    I enjoyed it. For a free to play game it is absolutely worth a shot. Yeah, the controls aren't as perfect as a Call of Duty game but it still provides a pleasurable and very competent experience.

    A friend and I are actually having a blast with the spec ops missions. Not enough FPS games, even AAA titles, have such creative and challenging co-op mission experiences, or lately, no co-op campaign missions at all! What a bummer! This free to play game has been filling that void for me.

    The graphics are nice, developers have a nice engine to work with (Cryengine) and alot of effort was put into the game. Micro transactions are obviously present, but as a previous reviewer mentioned they are not shoved down your throat and the game is great even without any of them.    … Expand

    Warface is a pree to play call of duty like first person shooter that you don’t need playstation plus to play.. its completely free.. Its actually pretty impressive in terms of free to play..     There are challenging co op missions to complete with online players… and there are as expected microtransactions for a variety of class packs.. but I felt just fine sticking with my main weapons and unlocking more with natural gameplay progression.. microtransactions were never shoved down my throat…
    And even better there are competitive modes.. basically making this a free to play call of duty…
    howver warface just isn’t as good…
    the mechanics feel nice but things are definitely off…
    for starters there seems to be way less maps on the console version of this game at the time compared to the pc version..
    team death match for example I only ever saw 2 maps…
    so needless to say warface got boring to me after only a couple hours of playing…
    That’s not where its problems end though…
    the competive balance here is just awful..
    for example snipers are extremely over powered here…
    the maps are way too small for them to even be allowed in competitive modes,
    and overall enemies feel too spongy..
    there isn’t that smooth kill and move on addictive feeling you get from call of duty..
    you feel like youre just emptying your clip into other players and the overall gameplay because of that just feels unsatisfying..
    Ultimately Warface just isn’t a good game…
    its not bad either though…
    Its good for a free to play game..
    but I don’t review based on for a
    to me a game is a game and this one feels lacking in content and care with its gameplay balance

    Best PVP game I`ve ever played on PS4. There are lots of PVP-modes, lots of maps with close quarters, fast matchmaking, fast gameplay and good ping in Europe :-).

    Warface is awful in a remarkable number of ways. First of all, it is so laggy and riddled with bugs it’s barely playable in its current state [version 1.05]. It’s also incredibly generic across the board and the color palette used for the levels/maps is so limited and bland it reminded me of Quake 1, but in the worst way possible. Thankfully all the enemies are highlighted in red, whichWarface is awful in a remarkable number of ways. First of all, it is so laggy and riddled with bugs it’s barely playable in its current state [version 1.05]. It’s also incredibly generic across the board and the color palette used for the levels/maps is so limited and bland it reminded me of Quake 1, but in the worst way possible. Thankfully all the enemies are highlighted in red, which I’m sure Crytek is trying to sell as a “cool” gameplay-feature, but the truth is that without being highlighted the enemies would be so hard to spot in the midst of all the 50 shades of brown that it would make the game virtually unplayable.

    The level and general game design is clumsy, cheap, lazy and boring. If you die you can either use respawn coins (that you can buy for real money) or you have to wait for your team to reach a checkpoint (or to wipe), which can take a very long time, especially during boss fights. And speaking of boss fights, they’re even more tedious and poorly designed than the rest of the game. Early on you have to shoot a constantly moving helicopter from a distance with a whole lot of non-target-tracking missiles while you’re getting shot at from every direction by endlessly respawning enemies. Does that sound like fun? Because it really isn’t. It’s even worse if only one guy on your team is left alive and he’s trying quite unsuccessfully to kill the boss by himself while he’s keeping you and everyone else from respawning and you either have to just watch him for 20 minutes or leave the game and start over the mission. This happened to me almost every other mission, which makes sense, because that’s how Crytek gets people to regret not having bought those respawn coins.

    There are also different classes, but only one of them has ammo refills you can give to your teammates or use yourself, which means if you’re not choosing that class and you’re playing with randoms (or if you’re playing with friends and none of them is playing that class, or if everyone of your friends playing that class is dead, etc.) you’re not getting any more ammo once you ran out after a few minutes and then all you can do is die and usually wait for such a long time before you finally respawn that it’ll definitely make you regret not having bought some f-ing respawn coins!

    Lots of little details like the tiny text and awkward to navigate menus makes this feel like the PC-version running on an emulator instead of a proper, optimized console port Crytek put any thought or effort into. Too much of this game feels poorly thought-out in general, like the fact that once you’ve finished a mission you don’t get asked if you’d like to start the new mission you’ve just unlocked, instead the game automatically throws you and your team into a mission you’ve already completed and you have to wait until it’s done loading before you can return to the lobby.

    The only positive thing I can confidently say about Warface is that you won’t have to feel bad that you’ve flushed a bunch of money down the toilet to buy this game, because it’s free (and not worth a penny more than that!)

    Edit: I totally forgot to mention the multiplayer/vs-mode. I guess my brain was trying to block out the memory of it, because it’s arguably the worst part of the game. Most maps look like they were cobbled together in less than five minutes by an intern and the matches are an imbalanced, frustratingly chaotic and mindless mess. Even the “better” maps seem weirdly antiquated and amateurishly designed. Teams/players always respawn in the same place, for example, which means you can go there and gun down players as they respawn. It’s something I haven’t seen in a game in a very long time and for good reason, because it’s unfair, incredibly frustrating and just terrible, outdated, lazy design.

    I also didn’t mention that the game gives you nice items sometimes (like a vest, for example), lets you get used to them for a while and then takes them away again. You will feel weaker of course and I’m guessing the intention is that it‘ll make you want to buy the items back with real money.

This one doesn't really have that, it got some characteristic that one to help another to get up in places, but this isn't really that much of a thing, it is ok, not a gamechanger. There are a lot of maps in here, most of them are good, you got some maps for each mode, there are maps that are only for one mode, wich is good, it shows that they did put some effort in this, it is important for a shooter to have many maps as possible, to have some variety, so as many game modes, wich is the case in here, there are some really cool game modes that remind us of classic shooters, so as plant bomb modes or normal modes so as team death matches, the actual big one, wich would be the battle royale, none of this modes have unique characteristics from the others, but they are pretty fun to play, especially if you have a couple of friends to play with, wich lead us to the co-op modes. There also ranked games, with always give some longevity to it, it is always nice to try to rank up in online matches.
    This game does contain some co-op missions, one of the modes are updated every single day, for some new missions, some really cool and different, the maps don't vary that much, but there are a nice quantity here, you can choose between difficulties and have a nice few minutes in each match, but it can get you tired after a little while. There is the mode: survival, where we got really long missions with different characteristics, levels with pyramids, drones and even zombies, they have putted some creative in here and have let it flow, the thing is that most of it is like walking a bit and take cover and shoot, this happens all the time, doesn't have much variation, but it is still much fun to play with friends, there are waves of enemies while you advance and at the end there is a possible boss, or a differend type of wave, but there is always something quite good at the finish of each survivor mode. And Finally there is The Great White mission, this one is for sure one of the hardest things that i have concluded, it tooked for me and my friends weeks, playing almost every day to find a nice strategy to beat that, it consist in reaching to the next floor killing all the enemies that appears, are in total 19 floors, each one of them is different, in some come just RPG enemies, only melee, half of the stage, it take time to learn the good places to be at in each of the floors, i gotta say that when you get in like the 15 or 16, it gor really hard, and i mean it, there are some right points to be for just them the enemies won't hit you and you can hit them, smoke strategies and stuff, it is great to play this level with other four friends, it is hard but can also be fun to do it. All of these modes leads for us to get coins and the crowns with some XP.
    These money conquered in the game it serves for buy multiple items, buy the most vary weapons, protection, customizable and stuff, almost all of that money can be get while playing, but there is one that you pretty much will only get buy paying it with real money, and there is where you get the best weapons in the game, so you can say that it is pay to win, but considering that this is a free game and that you can still play well with the free content of the game, i don't think that this is much of a problem. I like how you can improve your usable gadgets, so this give to the game some layers of possibilites, where you can match to your teammates to be the most useful combination as possible, very necessary in co-op games.
    The game contains 4 classes: The support, where he plays with light machine guns, and different types of rifles, and have the abiliity to restore ammo for himself and his teammates. The doctor plays mostly with shotguns, and have the abillity to revive partners and restore their health. Engineer, where he restore people shields and vest, plays with carabines. The sniper, wich his most expensive weapons are able to kill with one hit, and that is really fun, unfortunately the weapons have a timet to use. Very similar classes from the Battlefield franchise.
    As an adaptation from a PC game, they really didn't made me believe that they had much effort in it, like, there is somethings that doesn't make sense to be in a PS4 plataform, like a mouse in screen for example, or a group chat where you can't really chat anything.    … Expand

    - Tiene un buen sistema de subir nivel, lo cual pone de gran manera el desafio de subir.

    En contra:
    - El Lag, ya que al parecer los servidores afectan mucho el modo de juego, incluso con una conexion de 50 mb el juego siempre da lag, ya que los servidores quedan muy lejos de algunas personas.
    - La mayoria de jugadores utilizan sniper, y esto es debido a que esta arma hace un gran daño y puedes realizar tiros con gran velocidad continua, lo cual da una gran ventaja a quien lo utiliza.
    - Los artefactos en la tienda son muy caros.
    - Los aspectos se desbloquean de manera individual, es decir, si compras un traje para el sniper, solo se utilizara en esta clase, haciendo que cada aspecto cueste cerca de 10 dolares.
    - Los enemigos (o tu) puedes estar en la base donde empiezas y estarte derrotando de manera continua sin parar.    … Expand

Deathmatch, storm, blitz, battle royale, and etc. When I first started playing the game there was no problems. The game wasn't overly laggy and I NEVER got kicked from the matches.

The game became so laggy that it is damn near impossible to play. I've been kicked out numerous times for a high latency. Also when Battle Royale came out they introduced being sanctioned for leaving matches early. It doesn't matter if you intentionally leave the match or if something out of your control happens. You're punished for it. At first it's a minute but if it keeps happening the time increases. Well here lately I've been randomly tossed out of matches. It won't say that I was voted out or that I was kicked for high latency and I didn't lose internet, BUT I'm still sanctioned for it.

    Serves suck. Dont bother leaving feedback or doing survey they never respond. I have also lost kredits that never got refunded. Its to bad the game had potential.

You either drop hundreds of dollars on loot boxes and hope for a decent weapon or get decimated in PvP. There is armour as well but you make less money than it costs to maintain playing this game.     Game glitches so bad I get killed by bullets shot through metal containers and around corners when I’m NOT visible to the other player. I shoot players emptying full clips into them and nothing and yet they hit me with one bullet and I’m dead. You get threw into games halfway through and sometimes with only one minute out of ten remaining. Teams are certainly not balanced level wise as claimed. I used to love this game as did my husband but nowadays I spend most of my time listening to him scream and swear at the tv and I understand why. The game is very unjust, very unfair and full of glitches which they claim to sort but only make worse. DO NOT download this game. It will only agitate and annoy you.… Expand

    So many issues. Servers suck, matchmaking is horrible. Rubberbanding, lag, p2w as all hell. Nothing ever gets fixed.

    I loved playing this game when I started. I was maybe a bit above average but games seemed mostly well balanced apart from a few guns that were one shotting me every time. But I didnt mind because they were few and far between. I played some more and really enjoyed it trying iut all the mides and enjoying most of them. Then I hit level 25. Now I get destroyed by pretty much every otherI loved playing this game when I started.     Warface is good alternative to buying the year’s newest generic FPS, on account of it being free to play. With the free-to-play nature comes expected drawbacks, such as poor connection, a lackluster count of servers, and the slight pay-to-win nature. The best part of Warface in addition to its lack of price is that it does not require the obnoxiousness If PS+ for online Play.

To top it all off, it has a battle royale mode, because of course it does. Its fun to play with friends, but I didn't have much fun whenever I played alone. It has a cheap anti-cheat software, so running into hackers happens regularly.The game is very uninspired. This wouldn't be a problem if you could only use it to buy cosmetics, but you can use it to by Weapons and other gear that will give you an edge over your opponents who don't spend money on the game. The graphics are terrible you'd think that you're playing a game from 2009. Not to mention they have advertised the game as having cross platform play, a feature the game does not actually contain. A quick google search will show you that they have been promising cross platfrom play to be added for over 2 years now, but they have yet to deliver. I won't sit here and pretend like the game can't be fun at times, or that I didn't have any fun playing it. If you have friends to play the game with it can be really fun! Though with all the things I mentioned before, it is a semi-rare occurance, especially if you're playing alone.… Expand

    Content: I've been playing Warface since 2019. In the span of almost 2 years, they only managed to add one game mode (Battle Royale). One. Game. Mode. Not only that, but adding new weapons or armors, just overall variety in these categories was and still is rare. We would get too excited whenever my friend and I would see that there were some cool new stuff in the shop. Only 2 decent mapsContent: I've been playing Warface since 2019.     Monetization: You can buy weapons. You can buy armors. You can literally pay for advantage. I woulda been fine if it was cosmetic, it's expected as a free to play game. But no. They JUST HAD to add prices to 2/3 of the items. While you can earn weapons, armor, attachments, eventually, it just takes sooooo long to get all that stuff and ooooooooooOOOOoooo. You see that you can buy a booster for that. You can pay for boosters (with real world money) to decrease the time to level up, increase the amount of cash you get, crowns you get, and the decrease the amount of time required to get the earnable items. Right now, pretty much all of the weapons as of May 21, 2021, (I have no clue how long it's been like this), you can't purchase weapons with the in game cash. You can rent them with in game money you get from using your mom's credit card, but that's about it. Even better, they have loot boxes, where you have a chance at getting permeant weapons or temporary weapons to use :].

    Variety: There are tons of stuff you can get in this game. with a few fun modes. Ranked is pretty neat, you can earn free things from it. Overall, the PvP part of the game is done pretty well. Now about the PvE. The co-op missions are normally kinda fun, some cool stuff in there, sometimes reach a annoying parts, with there not being that many missions in co- op, it's still semi-enjoyable. Now about the Spec-ops. Imagine Modern-Warfare (2019) when it first released with spec-ops. Not in terms of the amount of missions, but the everything else. It is absolutely horrid and infuriating. There are so many enemies that you KNOW you are going to need revive tokens (which you can pay for with real world moneeeeyyyy). Missions take long and are not fun (except for the horde defending ones with zombies, but even then, they're still not all that great). You are also going to need at least one of every class in your team, so if you have a class slot that hasn't been filled by another player, you're team is destined to fail.

    Extras: The graphics on consoles aren't really good (it would at least be understandable for Switch, but can't say the same for Xbox and Playstation). The settings and customization is fun to mess around with, so that's something good.

    Overall: This game is mediocre. Basically, this is what you have whenever you ask your mom if you can get CoD and she says you have CoD at home. The multiplayer is fun, the Co-Op is okay, along with the gameplay being okay, and everything else just kinda sucks. I would love to see this game do better, but if they keep up with this monetization and little content and don't fix their Spec-ops, I have a funny feeling their player base is going to diminish. Is this game worth your time? Personally, I think so if you're just looking for a fun casual multiplayer and cooperative experience with some buds and don't mind all the monetization. But if you have CoD, or (personally I consider better) Battlefield, you would probably have a better time playing those.    … Expand

    As for Warface, I don’t think it’s a bad game, just a nice looking FPS shooter that actually started on the Xbox 360, and evolved into a much more advanced and competitive shooter that actually works. The other thing I like is the that the Platinum is not nearly as hard or infamous as Black Ops 3, but a little bit longer in terms of hours.

    There are only 2 things that are good about this game use of motion sensor in controller and the ability to change weapon attachments in mission... otherwise it drops server all day, the aim assist auto aims to the head if your pointing in the general area creating nothing but cheaters, getting shot through the ground and some concrete walls with an in adequate weapon, almost always thereThere are only 2 things that are good about this game use of motion sensor in controller and the ability to change weapon attachments in mission... otherwise it drops server all day, the aim assist auto aims to the head if your pointing in the general area creating nothing but cheaters, getting shot through the ground and some concrete walls with an in adequate weapon, almost always there is atleast 1 person not playing which makes it impossible to advance in many levels, unfortunately the motion control doesn't even work correctly in vehicles, etc... sometimes I wonder if anyone that works on these games actually try out the whole game in many conditions let alone care because the part making the money works...… Expand

    There are so many better options for those who want to shoot men on a budget, that there’s almost no good way to recommend Warface above them all.
