    A sadly failed tribute to one of the greatest RPGs of all time, Underworld Ascendant is simply far too flawed to recommend to either fans of the original Ultima Underworld, or in-depth RPGs in general.

    The game feels very unpolished and unfinished, despite being released seven months ago, in November 2018 (the PC version). The developers have stated on their website that update 4 was the last one, but in its current state the game is still very incomplete. The main problems are: sluggish movement, broken physics, lack of story, shallow gameplay, holes in the geometry, uneven framerate. The gameplay, in particular, is in desperate need of many improvements and some good background story to immerse the player in the game world.    … Full Review »

    I have never experienced a game so poor, this is broken. Nothing is explained and it left me feeling    I signed up just to leave this review.
    I have never experienced a game so poor, this is broken. Nothing is explained and it left me feeling like I was doing something wrong. So I watched others on youtube playing, I read steam forums posts and can now see that what I thought were errors on my part were glitches. Not just a couple of glitches but non stop glitches. Something as simple as highlighting an item in your inventory will crash the game, then you won't be returned to your save point. But the save points are supposed to be unique and I don't understand what I did wrong? I just repeat the same broken tutorial and make a save point and then the game crashes and I read hundreds of angry steam reviewers claiming the same thing happened to them a year ago!
    So why is this game for sale if it is still broken?
    Avoid at all costs,
    PS. Sadly these fools are making System Shock 3!!!! What in the world is going on?    … Full Review »
