    * I want to start out by saying I'm sorry for the 500+ people that gave this game negative reviews. Even if you're not a fan of the genre you should still respect the level of quality and not give out negative reviews out of spite. It's not good to give into your frustrations. Sorry.

    This game sets a new standard for this generation.     This game sets a new standard for this generation.

    The graphics are unreal, you spend a lot of time just looking around and drooling at how beautiful everything looks. Even indoors, the detail of every room and object is simply outstanding. This is how a game should be developed.

    The gameplay is fun, refreshing and extremely suspenseful throughout. It doesn't give you the time to get bored and it lets you master your own style of play and create the Drake you want to create.

    The story is the star of the show however. All Uncharted games had a pretty solid story for a video-game, but this one tops them, and by a pretty big margin. The story is carefully planned, interesting, intelligent, developing the characters along the way, and keeping you extremely entertained throughout. The diallogues, the action, it all comes together perfectly.

    10/10 by far. If all devs will approach games like Naughty Dog do, gaming would be a much, much more interesting and evolved place. Congrats Naughty Dog and congrats Sony.    … Expand

    Put simply, this is pure gaming bliss. Naughty Dog and company have another staple in there ever growing list of gaming accomplishments. Not only is this the best game of the current console; it's also the game that other companies will have to reach for. This is the game that we, the PS4 owners, have been waiting for.

    As with a great deal of the other reviewers here, we are coming full circle on a legacy of a story started so long ago in the past console generation (which started off at a slow stride if I may say so myself). For those that have walked in Drake's steps time and time again, this release bears uncommon baggage. We are blessed by the gaming gods that we still have companies willing to flesh out a single player campaign to this extent with such a vibrant world. Its easily the best looking and most polished console game yet. The voice acting is superb, music, cinematics, pacing is all great. Naughty Dog have surpassed The Last of Us, which I also thought was a masterpiece.

    Words can not describe how amazing this game is. This game is a reason to upgrade to a PS4. Even after you've exhausted yourself with the great single player story and all the possible ways you can play and collect all of the treasures, notes, and trophies, there is an absolutely fantastic multiplayer mode that seriously deserves your attention.     Amazing game. It has some of the best graphics/acting/sound/storytelling I've seen, and this includes gaming on a high end gaming pc. The voice acting is amazing and it's a fitting end to the uncharted series. This is the only developer left, that goes crazy about details on this level, and you can really feel the love and attention this game got during its development.

    Superb game that kept me playing for months. I eventually got the Platinum in it. The introductory mission in a wealthy collector's house is unforgettable, as are many other missions in the game. Great ending. Again, a fitting conclusion to this awesome series.

    This game gets a 10 from me. Dont even read the 313 negative reviews there nothing but trolls or butthurt Xbot failboys. Lesson up you butthurt failboys even your boy Phil Spencer had nice things to say about Uncharted 4 naughty dog and Sony no wonder he hates all of u.

    Quite simply this is probably the finest game on the PS4 to date in terms of story & production values. For those who have played any of the previous games you will be immediately at home, the game is equally accessible to newcomers although it might be wise to try play through the older games first.

    I REALLY hope they do a "Last of Us 2".

    So I've beaten this game once already and I'm on my second time going through it, and for the most part the game lives up to and surpasses the hype. The graphics, audio, controls, voice acting, gameplay, and action are superb. The only small complaint I have about the game is that most of it feels too much like past Uncharted games.     Uncharted 4, the best game I've played on PS4 so far, the best game in the Uncharted series, and definitely one of the very best I've ever played in my life.
    11/10.

    Uncharted 4 is very much the epitome of the last decade of Naughty Dog games. Beautiful, gripping, charming, fun, exciting, and memorable. "It's better to burn out than to fade away" Neil Young's lyrics have never fit a game so accurately. Buy it. Play it. Love it.

    One of the most amazing things about the game is something you realize when you start a chapter after you are done with the game - a level needs about a minute to load, they are *huge*. While you are playing through the game, you will never realize this, because Naughty Dog managed to integrate resource loading with the story so well that the game flows at a natural pace and never pauses for loading. This sounds like "uh, so what" but is an enormous technical accomplishment.

    The other thing I really appreciated was that the storyline this time felt (just like the graphics! ;)) more realistic than ever. Options may diverge on this, maybe you are the type to miss magical mumbo jumbo, I thought the game was better without it.

    On a side-note, I cannot wait for ND to publish more games based on this engine, they are sitting on a gold mine.    … Expand

    This is beautiful game. I've must have said to myself "OMG How beautiful this game is" a 100 times when playing it. Truly 10+ title. Acting is superb, music is superb, story is superb and graphics are just gorgeous. This is the closest it can get to blend movie with games. The only negative of this game that i can think of is that it will eventually end.I want more of Drake adventures.

Graphically it is easily the best looking console game out there. The character models and animation are probably the best in any game. The story and acting is top notch.     Nice graphics, ranging from adequate to awesome. Excellent dialog, the conversations between Nate and his companions is a constant joy and really make the game feel like a real adventure movie. Believable characters, slightly over exaggerated but only in a hollywood blockbuster kind of way. Engrossing plot, occasionally obvious but usually on the money. Fantastic locations. The list goes on. Basically this is a fantastic return to form.

    I liked the 2nd Uncharted the most, and think this one matches it toe to toe. They haven't added too much more to the formula, but what has been added is very welcome. Basically I can't wait for Uncharted 5, although I wonder whether it'll be about Cassie or Sam Drake. I'm somewhat saddened that this is Nate's last adventure, but it's a delightful send off.    … Expand

    Uncharted 4 changed the wheel when it came to making an Uncharted game. I cannot give this game enough praise. It was absolutely perfect and finally tells the complete tale of Nathan Drake.

I never saw graphics like this before,Naughty Dog did it again, and is teaching the video game industry how a video game should be done. You have amazing companions like Elena, Sully and the newest addition, Sam. He has already become one of my favourite characters in this short time, so much so that he absolutely deserves his own title, just asNaughty Dog delivers yet again with great gameplay and storytelling. Nate is back, rusty but lovable as ever as we hunt for pirate treasure in the beautiful land of Madagascar. You have amazing companions like Elena, Sully and the newest addition, Sam.     In my opinion, GOTY 2016. Well crafted narrative story and the gameplay mechanics are so fluid. The AI companion is very good just like in The Last of Us. The only negative I can really say about this game is the occasional dip in fps. Other than that, you're definitely missing out on a fantastic game if you have not played it.

    I'm not finished with the Story, mostly playing Multiplayer, and I gotta say this game deserves at least a 90 purely from design and technical aspects, and can go up to 100 depends on how much you appreciate its story.

    The game truly is amazing! I have all consoles and enjoy playing all different types of games. This game really has such great characters and engaging story. On top of that you get to be amazed on how beautiful the game looks. It will take your breath away.     Uncharted 4 is, firstly, the most BEAUTIFUL console game I've ever seen. Absolutely stunning. On top of that it's one of the best games I've ever played. The story is better than many movie plots and the actors are believable. Naughty Dog has done a stellar job.

    Not sure what the scores are in the red zone- or why the average score is 7.9. This is a 10/10 game for me, and one I'll replay for a long time. If you're about to start playing for the first time, I'm jealous as.

    One other thing- I think that playing at least UC 2 and 3 would significantly boost the enjoyment factor of UC 4. Everything just means so much more.    … Expand

    It's a ND game, so it's unfair to score these on the same scale we use for non-ND games, as they would all be 10s in comparison.

    But, yes, as expected, UC4 is our first contender for Game of the Generation. Fine maybe Bloodborne too.

There is few things annoying as flanking enemies popup from nowhere everywhere around you which is very annoying on crushing difficulty, QTA final boss fight which is worst part of the game and Crash Bandicoot minigame which is required for platinum. But all that is not enough to spoil this game not to be 10! Perfect story, graphics,This game is masterpeace and easy best Uncharted game.     If you like the previous uncharted games, you will love this one. In my opinion, this is the best uncharted yet. as everyone else has said, the graphics are phenomenal. the game play is tighter than it has ever been, and the story is really good in my opinion too. It's a definite 10 in my book.

After moving on a little in the game and changing the default settings the game is playing much better. It's obvious to any one that the game is gorgeous so we'll see as I progress. But my overall second opinion is that the game may be a masterpiece. Sorry for my confusion. Guess I'llI need to revise my early review.     This is the most beautiful game I have ever played, not just graphically but it has its emotional depth and feels more personal compared to the previous Uncharted. It achieves the highest level of perfection and I could feel Naughty Dog's passion in perfecting the game with the level of detail.

Many levels are kind of linear. But the art direction, graphics, story, acting, controls, AI, and script are as good as I have seen in a video game. I am enjoying it a lot.

    I have yet to play a game I would give a 0 too. This is about as far from a 0 as it gets. Not everyone has to like it, but giving a this game a zero is total stupidity!    … Expand

    If you liked the previous ones you'll love this one. Climbing is better, gunplay is better, graphics is better, story is better. I dare say it might be better than the hallowed uncharted 2. Rest assured that the negative reviews on here are from "gamers" that only own an xbox. The game is a masterpiece and a must buy.

    Uncharted 4: A Thief's End is not a disappointment by any means, I'll clear that up. In fact, it exceeds expectations. I'll start off with a spoiler-free set-up about the game's main story. Nathan Drake is retired from illegal treasure hunting. He lives with his beautiful wife, Elena, and leads a relatively normal life. That all ends once his brother, Sam Drake, who Nathan thought was dead for 15 years, shows up. Basically Sam is in trouble and needs Nathan's help. I won't tell you why. Nathan reluctantly agrees. I won't tell you why. That's how it all starts. The story starts simple but once it starts, it starts. This was definitely my favorite story of the Uncharted series. It's emotional and I really got sucked in. It was just like The Last of Us where I was sucking in every little detail. The end is great. It didn't have my jaw dropping like The Last of Us, but I did love it. The characters are incredible, and the without the amazing characterization the whole story would've crumbled. I loved Nolan North as Nathan Drake, and Troy Baker's Sam Drake is one of my favorite additions in gaming. Both of their performances are witty and powerful and I can't think of any other people who'd be any better. All other performances are great too. Elena and Sully are back, which is great, but I really liked the villains, Nadine and Rafe. I enjoyed Nadine's badassery a little bit more than Rafe's whineyness at times, but he is definitely not the stereotype I'm used to seeing. Both of their motivations make sense. It's just that I just wish I had seen more of these villains. The thing is, the villains aren't a key to the actual storyline of this game, they are more of a conflict; the occasional bullet barrier between Nathan and his next checkpoint. I'm fine with this because the main story is so brilliant, but I wanted more from the villains sometimes. I wanted more of the villains, especially Nadine.

    The relationships between characters are incredible, and most importantly, believable. While you may never encounter marriage issues dealing with treasure hunting, the main themes behind each of them is where I could relate. I loved every onscreen interaction between Nathan and Elena. They are officially my favorite gaming couple, and that's because they are the most believable. Emily Rose's performance helped a lot, but I can see how much the Naughty Dog writing staff cares about these characters that they have spent more that a decade with (if you count how much Drake's Fortune was in production). I wish that Sully was in a bit more of the game, but it would have been forced and unnecessary. What he has right now makes sense. Sam is still just a great and complex character, and his relationship with Nathan really pulled my heartstrings. The flashbacks to when they were kids may slow down the action front, but it helps establish an important connection between two characters in the story. Naughty Dog has become so smart with cinematic storytelling through the years, and the way character relationships are expressed piles onto the evidence as to why.

    When it comes to gameplay, the series has been vastly improved. Previous Uncharted shootouts were sometimes a hassle and I didn't always look forward to the long fights that I knew were coming. Not anymore. Uncharted 4's combat is addictive. If you click on my statistics, it may look like I'm one of the worst players of all time. The amount of restarted checkpoints I have is insane. That's really only because I restart encounters just to replay an amazing combat sequence. Melee is great, and the weapons have power. There's just so much more variety to each encounter now, and I noticed this when I saw all of my combat routes. Other Uncharted games had more enclosed combat encounters. Uncharted 4's combat encounters offer much more ways to take down your foes. My favorite is going stealthy. I can see the influences that Naughty Dog took from The Last of Us. I've taken out whole units without being noticed multiple times. I've also destroyed them by going guns blazing when I restart the same encounter, showing just how many options there are. People are also going to love the rope. There's going to be a lot of swinging in the game, and it's pretty damn fun. I have one complaint when it comes to combat and it's that there isn't enough. I wanted more of that amazing gameplay, and I got more platforming than combat. The platforming is terrific, though, so my complaints are trivial.

    Fantastic Game! best uncharted game by far. The crash bandicoot easter egg is so hype. Picked up the steel book today and it came with a free uncharted shirt.

In previous parts I didn't really like shooter part of the game but here I want even more of that. And oh man that chase part from E3 gameplay trailer is another level of action in games. Only one thing that I found weak is puzzles they are brainless. But is not gonna change that fact that is the best game on PS4 and best game of that generation.     From start to finish you are immersed in this game. The only thing I can say is PERFECT! ND and crew is what developers should strive to be. So much detail, the story is A1, and also the game play is absolutely fun and enjoyable. The only thing that I was bothered with is the multiplayer side not having a progression system, but that's just me nitpicking. That doesn't take away the fun ofFrom start to finish you are immersed in this game. The only thing I can say is PERFECT! ND and crew is what developers should strive to be.     Naughty Dog and Sony did it again with a great exclusive for the PS4. Incredible graphics, great gunplay, intriguing story and writing. Probably game of the generation, I love it!

    The game is perfect in every way. Just do yourself a favor and buy it. It's the best game since "The last of us" if you ask me. Both are on the top of my list.

    Played the story non-stop + one more time after that (speed trophy). Wasn't even tired after it.

    I've only given one other game a score of 10/10 and that was GTA5. That being said, this is easily one of the best video games I've ever played (in my 30+ years of gaming). It's difficult to review a game of this scope in that it has many, many layers, This is an immensely entertaining game, one that revitalizes the single player campaign (which has been suffering as of late amidst the ADDI've only given one other game a score of 10/10 and that was GTA5. That being said, this is easily one of the best video games I've ever played (in my 30+ years of gaming). It's difficult to review a game of this scope in that it has many, many layers, This is an immensely entertaining game, one that revitalizes the single player campaign (which has been suffering as of late amidst the ADD swamp of multiplayer titles..It demonstrates how visceral and engrossing a game can be when its story is well written, evokes emotion, enables a feeling of getting lost in a moment and more so, makes the player actually care about what's happening during the experience. This is by far Naughty Dog's best and most complete game to date and one that will have PS4 players rejoicing in the fact that they chose this console (as this is an exclusive PS4 game).

    As for the negative reviews, it's unfortunate that they taint Metacritic's overall user score as all of the poor scores reflect pure envy from childish gamers who aren't able to play because they're tied to another console. To this unfortunate fact, I actually feel sorry for people who can't play this masterpiece of a game as I feel that it should be experienced by all, (just as I envy my inability to play Xbox titles like Forza and the latest Tomb Raider.

    Yes, this game is that good and has set the bar for action/adventure games to come. If you own a PS4, don't even think about it.. Just buy Uncharted 4 today as I promise you'll thank me for it later.    … Expand

    Mais um jogaço da naughty dog. Uncharted 4: A Thief's End vem para encerrar uma saga épica de Drake juntamento com toda sua turma e amigos. A atenção aos detalhes, o refinamento do combate, o aproveitamento de tudo que foi aprendido nos jogos anteriores torna esse o melhor capitulo da serie superando Uncharted 2. E que final.

    I've enjoyed all Uncharted games, but this one is the best of 'em all. games like these are a gem. a must have for all PS4 owners out there. do not miss on this one. I can't believe this is the last Uncharted, and even if is the last one then I believe Naughty Dog has many other gems on the the making for us.

    Anyway, 7.5 hours into this game and it still has its surprises! The pacing is wonderful. The controls have been tweeked. The animations are even richer and more natural.     It took me a while to get a PS3 so the excitement wasn't as palpable as others would have when ND released every new Uncharted game. I played through 1 and 2 last 2013 and had a blast especially with Uncharted 2. When I got the PS4 I bought the Uncharted Collection to complete Uncharted 3. Truth be told the Uncharted games never really appealed to me in a way it has to the majority, butIt took me a while to get a PS3 so the excitement wasn't as palpable as others would have when ND released every new Uncharted game. I played through 1 and 2 last 2013 and had a blast especially with Uncharted 2. When I got the PS4 I bought the Uncharted Collection to complete Uncharted 3. The acting/voice acting is also top notch as usual, this cast is so perfect together, their performances are simply flawless. The amount of stuff you can do in the game is also outstanding, you can drive a boat, a jeep, can use a grappling hook to cimb up to places you could not before and of course treasure hunting is back as well. The epic set pieces and spectacular action scenes are here also, and as expected you will solve quite a few interesting puzzles as well. Multiplayer has a bigger focus this time around, and it is a lot of fun. The online battles are always action packed and the level designs are extremely well done. Nathan Drake's entry to the PS4 couldn't be any greater, To simply put, Uncharted 4 is the best video game made thus far. Game Of The Year, nod doubt!!!… Expand

    This game comes as close to perfection as any other game I've played. Holy crap. Story. Characters. Voice acting. Combat. Exploration. Graphics. Audio. Level design. Multiplayer. All on point. It's really hard for me to find anything wrong here.

    Stating that the forthcoming game will be the last rendezvous with a popular, charismatic hero is a rare phenomenon. I congratulate Naughty Dog on their courage and in spite of myself keep my fingers crossed for them to stick to their decision. The farewell party they threw for Nate is simply spectacular. This is how I want to remember him, not as an old man who rubbed his joints with pain cream and then found a UFO. Uncharted 4 is a brilliant game and a breathtaking demonstration of what PS4 is capable of. [07/2016, p.56]
