    This was my first game and the firts game that i finish in the generation of the Play Station 4 (2016), i have only good words to this master piece, there's no better way to end the stories of Nathan Drake, undoubtedly one of the best games of Play Station 4, 10/10.

    En realidad este fue mi primer uncharted y aunque para muchos fue más de lo mismo.. para mi fue una experiencia totalmente nueva y me queda claro porque la saga tiene tantos fans y también porque tanto cariño a Nate.

    Ojalá que las próximas entregas sean igual de buenas.

    AWESOME, one of the best action game ever played.
    The graphis is insane, almost a movie, the action sequences are dope and the plot is more interesting than the third game, Henry Avery's story is incredible.
    The game close the saga in a very perfect way, even introducing a new character like Sam.
    The game rival with Among Thieves for the title of "best of the franchise".

    The presentation is spectacular, the writing is good, the story is well-executed (if somewhat predictable at times), but mechanically, there's not much to admire unfortunately. The stealth mechanics are over-simplistic, the platforming controls are unreliable, getting in and out of cover is clunky as all hell, and climbing mostly consists of pressing X and watching Nathan execute the movesThe presentation is spectacular, the writing is good, the story is well-executed (if somewhat predictable at times), but mechanically, there's not much to admire unfortunately. The stealth mechanics are over-simplistic, the platforming controls are unreliable, getting in and out of cover is clunky as all hell, and climbing mostly consists of pressing X and watching Nathan execute the moves without any real engagement (more like a cutscene). Quick-time events are over-used to the point of annoyance (just show me a loading screen instead of making me press Triangle 50 times) and the trope of things falling apart as soon as Nate lands on them becomes played-out after the 4th or 5th time, then happens approximately 30 more times.

    I'm also generally not a fan of games taking control away from the player or even making me walk super-slow for no good reason, totally breaks my immersion. Plus, it's ironic how the most "realistic" games often end up feeling pretty weird because so much stuff (like grip points) are pre-determined, so the animations have to play catch-up if the player's inputs aren't 100% on point.

    Overall, it seems like this game would've been better off without the gmeplay parts, that is to say, as a movie (which, incidentally, an Uncharted movie about to come out soon).    … Expand

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Nathan"the biggest mass murderer ever" is back for his final outing and what a way to end a series (for now at least). The story is probably the best in the series, although it does play loose with Nathans childhood backstory; like introducing his brother who was never spoke of in the previous games and how he gets from America (presumably) to Europe (where Sully found him is never explained. The graphics and cinematography are jaw dropping especially on the PS4 pro. Animations are the usual Naughty Dog perfection. My only criticism is that it for the emotional scenes it relies heavily on you playing the other 3 games to play on your emotional heart strings.
    Other than that it's a brilliant, emotional send off for Nathan Drake.    … Expand

However, there are a few plot inconsistencies, some plot points do not make much sense.     This is the most generous to the 'Uncharted' element, yet different game in the series. Neil Druckmann delivered a fantastic story with interesting historical aspects and character building. The story had some flaws with the plot twist and the build up for the climax was a bit off, but the gameplay covers for most of it.     Uncharted 4 it's like to go to vacation. Incredible adventure, humor and trips to amount of edges of planet, searching the treasure. Deffinetly strongest game in uncharted series!

I mentioned a cinematic experience but Uncharted 4 remainsUncharted 4 is certainly a masterpiece and one of the best PS4 games I played. I mentioned a cinematic experience but Uncharted 4 remains a solid videogame where you will alternate exploration (platforming), shooting and puzzles. We have a good variety of locations and the fun factor is great here. For an Uncharted game, it's quite long (around 20 hours for me) which is good. There is also a good replay value. Are they a few cons for this game ? Yeah, but only a few...For the platforming, some distances are hard to evaluate and some results don't make sense....It's hard to evaluate if the game wants you to jump really far or if this jump will make you die. The jeep was also hard to control....Like I said, only minor weaknesses which maked this game a solid 9/10. The user score of 8,8 is a good reflection of this game's high quality. I must mention also it is the ebst story of all the Uncharted 4 titles (even better than the last of us for me...)… Expand

    Amazing how Naughty Dog managed to achieve this visuals on the PS4. The gameplay has been improved over the past games. Story is great, immersive and challenging on the harder difficulties, especially the sword fight at the end of the game. Only downside is that some missions feel too linear.

    Definitely one of the best Playstation games that have ever been created. The story is amazing with insane action and adventure. It is loyal to the past adventures, but also brings with it a lot of improvements in gameplay. The graphics are amazing and also has an entertaining multiplayer. If you have a PS4 or PS5 console, you should play this game.

    Uncharted 4 for the ps4 is one of the best games you can get. Worth the asking price. Beautiful, fun to play, technicaly requires planning, wonderful package including a multiplayer. only thing I would change is last of us 1 sneak mechanic to replace what this game have since it is less good than it.

    Dibandingkan dengan Shadow of the Tomb Raider, Uncharted 4 memiliki cerita yang jauh lebih bagus, dan itu adalah nilai yang berbeda besar.     now this is what is accept playstation has one bangers and its awesome, i bought whole console just for uncharted and driveclub and fell in love with this game . and will buy this game another time if it comes to pc.

    Much as I wanted to really like this game, I found it to be quite boring! The storyline didn't engage me at all. I gave up paying it completely half way through, then came back to it months later to see if I changed my mind...I didn't. Although I finished it, its only because I'm a completionist. The gameplay mechanics need working on in my view. That said, graphics are pretty good.

    What an awesome end to the series. Awesome game, even better graphics and FINALLY not that much shooting as in the first three games.
    And the story made me really care for the main charachters and the epilogue was really moving.

    esse jogo é perfeito para essa franquia, ele é bonito tem uma historia que tem cara de um fim de franquia e ainda da um final justo ao protagonista, nota 8 com certeza, não alcançou um patamar maior pq uncharted sempre foi um jogo bom mas não passou disso, aquele jogo que é divertido tem historia boa mas é isso, recomendo

    I never thought that naugthy dog could match uncharted 2, and here they did.. another masterpiece, the second in the uncharted saga that I consider a masterpiece.

    I don't think I could ever become a complete "fan" of Drake and company despite enjoying their games (I didn't play them at their time, and I felt that in certain aspects they were inferior to Tomb Raider), however now that I was able to play all 4 titles in a row, and despite their clichés, I've been delighted with the end of the saga (Drake's, before Lost Legacy XD).    What a trip...

    I don't think I could ever become a complete "fan" of Drake and company despite enjoying their games (I didn't play them at their time, and I felt that in certain aspects they were inferior to Tomb Raider), however now that I was able to play all 4 titles in a row, and despite their clichés, I've been delighted with the end of the saga (Drake's, before Lost Legacy XD).

    Audiovisually it's amazing, and that was one of the first PS4 games, a super polished gameplay compared to the previous installment, and with a highly entertaining campaign, despite the clichés.

    Automatic climbing and cover system shootouts as it always have been. You have a grappling hook now, that sounds awesome and perfectly matches the game right? No! When the “platforming” is so automatic it becomes unfulfilling; the grappling hook only works when you see a prompt button on the screen so it is just a fancy way to press X and see the game play itself. I’m not joking when I say the game should be an all-out platformer making rewarding to get on top of a big ass tower, but the challenge was never an option with Uncharted and it sure as h*ll wouldn’t be in the fourth game.

    The cover based shootouts returns again despite being the biggest sin when it comes to third person shooters games. Press the button that magnetizes you to cover and wait for the enemy to voluntarily expose their head, rise and headshot they yaaaay! It is funny when you don’t realize the correct flow of the fight and wanders all around the battlefield being showered with bullets until you find your precious piece of wood to protect you. If something, I feel like shooting is even worse in this game: the crosshair movement is off and if you pre-aim before hiding behind cover when you get up again your pre-aim is gone.

    It is easy to realize the gameplay is a mere accessory in Uncharted and the best example is the chapter 4, right at the beginning. You start at your attic and inspect some memorabilia reminiscent of Nathan’s adventures on the previous games (which is a nice fan service to be honest), then you play with a Nerf gun shooting some targets (for some reason) and your wife calls, a really mundane sappy moment worth of your everyday romance sitcom occurs and she challenges you to play Crash Bandicoot for PS1… which you do! From Nathan’s perspective watching the TV you have to beat Crash first stage, and this is the most challenging thing the game has to offer. The story goes on for the chapter but the only thing the player really has done is playing discount Crash for PS1!

    Remember desperately mashing the buttons to skip the cutscenes/story in older games so you can actually play the f*cking thing? I’m pretty sure Uncharted fans would do the other way around, trying to find a way to skip the gameplay sections instead.

    So yes it is a “sToRy gAmE”!!!! It follows the same Indiana Jones/National Treasure trope used in previous installments: a historic figure did something and hid clues to find something, then a clue leads to a puzzle that when solved leads to another clue and so on so forth until the mystery is revealed. This narrative model is pretty appealing (although in a cheap way) and the player is compelled to know what will happen next, even though the dialogues can be cheesy at times and characters are overall stereotypical. It is a clichéd text yes, but I can see it working with most people.

    Let’s wrap it up giving the credit where it’s due: graphically the game is a work of art! So many times you can stop to appreciate the scenery (the first scene in chapter 5… my God!) given how beautiful the game looks; the “world traveling” narratives also guarantees a lot of different landscapes to behold. And the facial expressions… I’m sorry for every company trying to rival Naughty Dog on this regard.

    So Uncharted 4 doesn’t surprise anyone and I wouldn’t buy this game to save my life! I only played because it was the PS Plus freebie of the month and had nothing to lose. However it remains as the most story based game of them all to the point where the gameplay doesn’t really matter, Naughty Dog frankly doesn’t care and neither do the fans. The fact Uncharted next project is going to be a straight up movie speaks volumes about the series, at least they’re being upfront this time around.    … Expand

    Über die Story möchte ich hier nicht viel verraten, die meisten von euch sollten das Spiel kennen, aber ich möchte niemandem, der das Spiel noch nicht gespielt hat auch nur eine Sekunde dieses großartigen Spieles verraten.

    Muito bom jogo, Gráficos lindos. Apenas acho que a estrutura dos combates é um pouco repetitiva e a forma com que o personagem usa as armas é um pouco simples de mais, por exemplo ter que jogar uma arma fora para pegar outra. O jogo segue o estilo das versões para o PS3. Gostei do jogo mas não chega a ser um dos melhores que tive a experiência de jogar.

However there were 1 or 2 chapters right after you head to the islands that could have been cut or shortened. They got boring and repetitive pretty fast. But like I said the game is great, has great characters, is fun to play and has great set pieces.… Expand

    A perfect end for this glorious series. Naughty Dog has done a fantastic job again and gives us one of the best games for the PS4 era. The presentation of this game is top notch, something you will never find on any other platforms.

Next is the level design, while not terrible by any means, it loses some of the magic from the last 2 in how you navigate them seamlessly through markers that blend into the environment and aren't immersion breaking. And from the locales and design of such places, it feels a bit more grounded and like any other game here (mgsv for instance). The lack of blended in markers also means you can on some levels be left wondering which way to head next as everything looks the same. Overall it's a good game and the original VAs thankfully weren't ditched, the loved character's and their chemistry is still there, even if some re-designs are off. The story is good. The visuals and attention to detail is wonderful. The puzzles are decent if not feeling a little stretched thin at this point. Gun play and reworked controls weren't needed or aren't perfect, but you can still get along with it. It's worth playing for sure and finishes off the series mostly well.… Expand

    ABSOLUTELY the best in the series, while maybe not as massive set pieces it more than makes up for it in Narrative and Character Development. Combat fatigue is still super present but its easily the most bearable in the series with the biggest leap in combat feel. This game easily cements Nathan Drake in the video game character Hall of Fame.

    First off, I think that the story is amazing, touching, and unironically inspiring. I've played games like God of War and Spider-Man, and the writing of the story is definitely among the level of those titles. If I could describe the story without spoilers, I'd say it is somewhat of a combination of the theme of Indiana Jones and the elements of Mission Impossible.

    The gameplay is probably my least favorite part of the game, but not for the fact that it is in some ways clunky. My problem with it is the amount of climbing. I think it's too long, somewhat plain, and overly excessive. The exploration can also be kind of unclear, often making me unsure of where to go. It happened so much in the beginning that when I actually went somewhere I was supposed to go, I thought, "Wow, how'd I make it here?" Of course if you get lost, the companions in the game will start hinting clues if you take too much time. The cover based shooting is pretty good I think (I wouldn't really know since this is my first cover based shooter). I like how although the pressure is on you at all times, it's still possible to think up of a plan and execute it well. I played on normal difficulty, but trust me when I say it's not super easy for beginners, and I've played other shooter games (don't know if that really matters though). I have died a good number of times, but the sense of accomplishment after overcoming hoards of bad guys makes you feel good.

    Graphically, this game is beautiful! I can understand how God of War, which was made three years ago, still looks beautiful, but the fact that I'm five years late to this game really should tell you the graphical beauty this game holds. There were some cutscenes in the game where I couldn't help but think something like, "Wow, his ear looks so real!" or "Wow, how's that not real?" All in all, the graphics look phenomenal, and it really performs well under 4K (which was the resolution in which I experienced the game).

    Probably what I like best about the game (and most games, honestly) is the soundtrack. Henry Jackman delivers upon making a soundtrack worthy of praise (or mine at least), and it does well upon setting the scenes in the game. Although I can't really spoil a soundtrack, I can give details about what is going on in a certain track, but I won't do that so that you might have an understanding ingame. If I could relate it to something, I'd say it's a mix between the soundtracks of Jurassic Park and the Pirates of the Caribbean.

    Overall, I had a really good time with the game. It truly is a visual and storytelling masterpiece, but the combat and climbing was still a bit uncomfortable for me. So should you buy it? I'd say, "Yes!" This truly is one of those games that is worth the price.    … Expand

    My favourite game of all time. I think everyone should acknowledge that Nathan Drake's last adventure is one of the best character stories ever. Not only Nathan Drake, but Uncharted 4: A Thief's End's side characters also very well-written and adorable. As the game's 5 birthday, I played the game one last time and I got the exact feelings as when I played it for the first time.

    With the 4th and final Drake Adventure, I was expecting a well rounded ending. But once again, I was blown away completely by all parts of it. The only thing I missed was Chloe Frazer, even if it just was a short cameo.

    Very good game, best of the Uncharted series. This episodes shows a lot of development in gameplay, graphics, mechanics. Characters are still great, new characters are similarly. Story is great and it makes the game actually a movie with some gaming elements.

    A must play for PS4 and PS5 in my opinion. I was completely blown away by the graphics. I can't even fathom how they modeled all of this. Voice acting is great, too. And this all runs on a PS4? (I have a PS5.) The story is great - think Tomb Raider meets Indiana Jones. Gameplay is good. Combat gets a bit tedious, and all the monkeying around gets a bit samey over time.     I really like the story, but I've never played Uncharted before. It was my first game of that franchise. I'd like to play a new chapter or a prequel/sequel. On Playstation 5, the Dualshock vibration isn't good enough after Astro's Playroom. It's just a simple vibration on expected actions.

Just by playing through the story, you can feel the amount of work that the cast and crew put in to make it what it is. The awe inspiring visuals and attention to detail certainly highlight this.     Stating that the forthcoming game will be the last rendezvous with a popular, charismatic hero is a rare phenomenon. I congratulate Naughty Dog on their courage and in spite of myself keep my fingers crossed for them to stick to their decision. The farewell party they threw for Nate is simply spectacular. This is how I want to remember him, not as an old man who rubbed his joints with pain cream and then found a UFO. Uncharted 4 is a brilliant game and a breathtaking demonstration of what PS4 is capable of. [07/2016, p.56]
