There's little reason to buy Ultra Street Fighter IV if you have any version of Street Fighter IV on PS3, but post-patch it remains great despite a rather crusty conversion. [Apr 2015, p.95]

Even after the necessary adjustments it remains the least responsive version of this game, a situation quite unjustifiable, probably due to the inexperience of Other Ocean.

The PS4 version of Ultra Street Fighter 4 had incredible issues at the time of its launch, that are being corrected in these days. Nonetheless, the input lag (even worse than the PS3 version) remains something that pro gamers can't accept.

Ultra Street Fighter IV is finally available, but not without bugs. These break up a part of the fun in the game, but still it is a game you will love. Too bad it doesn't offer any reason for Ultra players to buy this version.

As a game, Ultra Street fighter IV is a blast, full of content that will keep you busy until the fifth chapter. The PS4 version, though, is a rather poor conversion.

The PS4 version of Ultra Street Figher IV is, right now, the worst of all. Other Ocean didn't ported the game very well, with issues in almost every aspect of the game, from visuals to control. Hope they fix the game soon, because right now, online the newcomers will find it enjoyable.

Ultra Street Fighter IV does not offer any new content, but is more fluent. This new version feels like it is a must-buy, but it is not very exciting. The big plus is that you can finally play this game on your current-gen consoles, but other than that it does not bring a lot of new elements to the table.

For the time being, there are simply too many problems with Ultra Street Fighter IV on PlayStation 4. The input lag is definitely an issue, the technical hang-ups mar an otherwise astounding-looking game, and there aren’t enough new features or additions for hardcore fans to warrant a purchase.

Ultra Street Fighter IV for PS4 is just a failure. Other Ocean Interactive couldn't solve an issue as important in a fighting game as the input lag, and every fan is going to be disappointed when they witness the lack of work both in visuals and sound aspects.

For the first time in years, I was left wondering if my video game's disc was scratched, only to remember that I was playing a digitally downloaded game. While this is meant to be a proper sendoff to Street Fighter IV, intending to hold us over until the release of Street Fighter V, Capcom has given us the worst-playing version the game to date.

There’s something quite mesmerising as to how such complexity can be played out almost effortlessly by people who practice enough at the game to get good at it, but, frankly, everyone is better off waiting for next year's Street Fighter V.

It’s hard to recommend a game that’s as obviously broken as this. Sure, there’s some fun to be had but all too often this is hindered by a bug that’ll remind you of just how disappointing a porting effort this really is.

Ultra Street Fighter IV should feel like the finished, definitive product on PS4, but it’s incredibly hard to justify double, triple or even quadruple-dipping for long term fans when Street Fighter V is so close and this port is so poor in quality.

Save your money for next year’s Street Fighter V.

Terrible port. Full of bugs and glitches, lag is no better than Ps3 version (and they promoted it as being almost lag free!), the menuTerrible port. Full of bugs and glitches, lag is no better than Ps3 version (and they promoted it as being almost lag free!), the menu stutters a lot. Played at a friends house and it crashed to XMB twice in 2h. I'm glad i didn't buy it.
Sony went cheap and used a cheap crap studio to make the port and got what they paid for, a cheap crap port. Gio Corsi, or whoever is responsible for Sony third party quality control, should be fired for allowing a game in this state to be published and sold as "ultimate" version.
If it is to make crap ports, i would rather have no ports at all.

For a 7-year old game, it's actually quite good in glorious 1080p. Hadoken your way to the end of the tournament. FADC combos are worthy for extensive, yet amazing combos. All 5 costume packs, Edition Select, Omega Mode. USF4 PS4 is the perfect package and a worthy Game of the Year Edition. Other than that you have a really good game. Full Review »
