Trackmania: Turbo is a beautiful game that tries to set itself apart from the pack. It's definitely better than most, and it’s clear that Nadeo have become rather accustomed to making these games. As the first TrackMania to make its way onto the PlayStation 4, I do recommend it if it is your genre of choice. But note that, thanks to the uninteresting campaign track designs, how long the game can hold your attention for is definitely proportionate to how much time you might be willing to pour into the track editor.

Trackmania Turbo really isn’t much different than the rest of the series. It looks better and offers console players a chance to get in on the action, something not seen since the Wii version, but is largely the same game it’s always been. For racers who live for direct competition, the time trial focus of TM might be too off-putting. Otherwise, this is simply one of the most entertaining arcade racers on the market for both experienced and more casual gamers.

For me, TrackMania Turbo just didn’t earn the checkered flag. If you love time-trials, however, this is the racing game you’ve been waiting for.

With a clumsy but empowering track editor there's certainly no danger of this racer running out of gas – it just depends how long you're willing to keep up with the quest to be the best.

To be honest, it's all the old Trackmania games put in into a bundle for console. And strangely, it's not a bad thing.

    Pros: -Beautiful
To be honest, it's all the old Trackmania games put in into a bundle for console. And strangely, it's not a bad thing.

    Pros:
    -Beautiful Visuals
    -Solid 60fps
-Different feel on different track types ( 4 exactly )
-New UI More user friendly and less pizza feel than the other trackmania.
    -Split screen (up to 4)
    -Other fun multiplayer modes
    -VR Support
-Load of content, and infinite content to come with track builder.
-Very hard ( this a good point for me )

    Cons:
    -No private servers
    -No new gamechanging trackmania changes.

UPDATE: It came in the mail today! Hype!

Very fun arcade racer, brings back nostalgia of racers like they used to be. It has the arcade feel mixed with the speed of F-Zero. It brings back the arcade feel with the crew voices and even the music. Fantastic graphics and music. 200+ tracks and track creator! PS4 needed a fun racer and we finally got it. And it's not $60! I rarely give 10's to games, but this is one of the most fun racers I've played in years and I think this will be a sleeper hit for the racing genre. For $40, you're getting a decent racer which this gen hasn't seen yet. I ordered from Amazon Prime and got the game cheaper so it's really a deal. If you want an arcade racer and you like going fast, you've got your fix. Did I mention 60fps 4-player splitscreen and remote play?

How races work: It's not your typical racer. When playing online, up to 100 people can join a room. In this room, the host has set a playlist of maps and modes. Ex: Race - Normal. In this setting, people are placed on the course and are all racing at the same time for the fastest lap time, not who gets to the finish line first. It's like online multiplayer time trial where every corner drift in milliseconds counts. It can be frustrating at times though. I just won by first race online by 9 milliseconds and my 2nd race by 10 millseconds! It really gets intense during the last minute. Players cannot hit each other, they drive right through each other which is nice, and you have a set time limit set by the host to have as many tries as you can at making that lap time speeding down the course at 400mph. Hit the rail the wrong way and you'll go flying off the course and will have to restart your lap, or not. You can drive outside the course if you want to and explore. It's intense, it's competitive and it's rewarding. A very refreshing take on the racing genre.

    First impressions are good
    Overall 8/10
But for split screen and VR section I will give it 10 of 10
Since split screen it's rare nowadays
