Jun 4, 2020Tour de France 2020 is just fun to play. While the game is best suited for competitive cycling fans, Tour de France 2020 does a surprisingly fantastic job of introducing newcomers to the sport.

Jun 25, 2020A new year, a new Tour de France game. It's fine, as usual, with some notable improvements, like the first person camera and more competitive AI. The game's not for everyone, though; some knowledge (and fandom) of professional cycling is required.

Jun 15, 2020Tour de France 2020 is a solid sim and a fun and very well built game that will please cycling fans, thanks to the very immersive new first person view, which is the main novelty of this iteration.

Jun 16, 2020Tour de France 2020 is certainly still a good game for fans of cycling. Those with even a basic knowledge of professional cycling could get a lot of out of it, particularly given that the real, postponed Tour of 2020 is going to be very different from what has come in years before. Although it's clunky, fans of the sport who look beyond its technical struggles will find and earnest and loving recreation.

Jun 17, 2020Tour de France 2020 is an improvement over its 2019 counterpart, thanks to the improved loading screen times, and reduced crashes that may take place. However, by and large it is still pretty much the same game otherwise, with minimal changes or quality-of-life features to make the experience more engaging. For those who love the sport of cycling, then this may fill in the time until the real-life racing starts up again - however for those with no interest in the sport, then it may be a tough task for Tour de France 2020 to latch newcomers into the title. The ingredients for a really engaging micro-managed cycling-simulator is here, but it is let down by the AI.

Jun 10, 2020Cyanide seems to embody more and more the stereotype of the uphill sprinter: in oxygen debt, with marble legs and long since detached from the head of the race.

Jun 4, 2020Unfortunately, Tour de France 2020 picks up where the series left off and slowly, very slowly, advances. The package bolsters with new classics and features but the same outdated visuals and problems arise. The license isn't used to the fullest with no rider likenesses and a bare minimum approach to presentation. The cycling remains fine but the lack of excitement and personality makes it hard for me to recommend this year's effort.

Jun 4, 2020Tour de France 2020 adds some new features, like a first-person view and the resistance management, but it is graphically old and too many problems cut off its wings.
-
Sep 17, 2020The manager’s commentary during and after every stage is poorly performed, to say nothing of the terrible and repetitive victory ceremony featuring around three static commentaries, making it a must-skip. All of the aforementioned issues are especially notable considering TDF 2020 is dedicated to providing a realistic 3D race. The other modes, which include a professional career mode and other races, are hardly worth the time and effort. Tour de France 2020 is therefore greatly outclassed by Pro Cycling Manager 2020 in terms of content, and hardly makes up any ground with a better presentation.
