First of all I tell you something interesting about this game: Ubisoft are supporting this game for almost 2 years already and it’s going to continue for 8 or 10 more years!!! Yeah it’s real! This game is an epic one!
I tell you why they hate R6S...
1: they don’t have enough ability and talent to play (die over and over).
2: they don’t have good or serious teammates to play with.
3: they don’t understand that this shooting game is the most realistic and strategic game between all shooting games like battlefield and call of duty and ...

I tell you some of bad things about R6S that haters always say:
    1: broken servers
    2: terrible glitches
    3: many hackers
4: a few modes in game

But seriously if you don’t like R6S because of these thing, there’s wrong with you!!
Servers are better recently and ubisoft making them better season by season!

Ubisoft will fix glitches as soon as possible, they always did that!

Ubisoft will ban hackers (only for PC) and PlayStation network will ban hackers if you report their PSN ID
And about the last one, Personally I don’t have any problem with this one, corrent modes have enough fun and tension so we don’t need anything else!

Stop reading these reviews, just buy it!

This game is in such a weird spot for me for several reasons. On one hand, it has/had the best online combat that required the most tactical thought of any game I've played. On the other hand, if you play the game on anything other than ranked/unranked (level 30 and 10 minimum), the game essentially becomes a team back stabbing simulator to see who or how your team will kill you. You spend 2/3 matches getting shot in the back by your teammates or blown up before you can move because there is virtually no serious repercussions for betraying your team and throwing a match. The reason I get so bitter about it is because I dump $30 into the game and then I'm immediately reminded (repeatedly) why I stop playing every two years. I've played this game over the course of five years and they have barely done anything about team kills. Used to be you had to kill two team mates before they'd kick you and make you wait just 15 minutes (which is oddly generous.) Now, you kill someone and it activates reflective damage if that person marks it as intentional. That would almost solve it except their team mates are typically exempt so if they still want you dead, they can kill you until the squad has reflective damage. The magic is, there's no repercussions for repeat offenders either. In one day of playing, you could wait for the various cooldowns and get away with 20-30 team mate kills if you were bored. It's absolutely **** that the penalties for leaving a game early is worse than shooting your own team.

I originally bought this in Feb 2016 when the gold edition was down to $30 because they thought it was a failure (which serves them right for the deception they pulled at E3 2015.) What's ironic is that now I think the game is in a worse position than it was at that time. Aside from the constant shots to the back, children playing like it's COD, and your own team mates actively working against you, there's also the monetization that's become a problem. You pay $20-40 for a game that then makes you spend 2-3 weeks unlocking even just the basic content which is the operators. Then, if you want skins for your guns or uniforms, you either have to pay hard cash, gamble (with strong odds for duplicates), or wait several weeks/months to get it. Obviously the goal is that you pay to run into a pay wall that is either overcome by playing the game even more for a really long time, or paying even more. Proof is that the "epic" uniforms cost an equivalent of about $8-10 and the legendary are about $15 for what amounts to 2-3 items if that. This game would be as bad as Fortnite and Epic, except that at least those are free and you don't have people shooting you in the back randomly because they think it's hilarious.

The good news is, I have several throwaway PSN accounts and I'm totally going to be blowing myself and as many teams as I can up so maybe they'll finally do something about it. **** you Ubisoft. I won't be buying anything from you people anymore and you're going to have a lot more pissed off players very soon. If for some reason I do end up with any more of your trash, I'll be sure to make the other online experiences just as unpleasant for everyone as I can manage. I have literally all day and night every day. It won't take long before literally hundreds of players are done with your half baked ****

I played this game from the start and it was extremely disappointing, I stopped and then got back into the game at operation health and since then I always found time to play this game, it is amazing, by far the most immersive FPS online game I have played. Also with the constant updates and additions of operators to the game, I don't see myself not stopping for a long time.

But when i look at it in 2020, it is a completely different game. Hats off to Ubisoft for transforming the pile of garbage that R6 was into a more enjoyable and balanced experience. Yep, Ubi has almost re-touched every single aspect of the game, from barricades to the defenders shields and more.
However, despite the general experience of the game became decent, still this game doesn't stand out in a very good way, personally: microtransactions are everywhere, the game will force you to spend real money in order to keep up with all the new operators (which, by the way, have a ridicolous price); most of the new operators are not original at all, using the exact same abilities of others (such as Nook and Warden); also, there are not new maps anymore, the ones left in the game are getting rebalanced, which is a good thing, but they get stale after a while. The mini events are cool, but in order to get the skins of that event you have to (guess what) pay with real money.

It's actually kinda sad that this game completely shifted away from the original idea of counter terrorism units: that's the thing that attracted me the most when i started playing it.
Nowdays, Rainbow Six Siege is just copying what other games have already done in the past, following the trend of battle pass, mini seasonal events and useless skins. Sad.

Lets give a short answer: I f*cking love this game, despite some of the flaws.

Now for that longer answer. I started the game in f*cking Christmas in 2015 as a Call of Duty sweat, expecting this game to be a pick up and instantly master. Nope. I was beaten to a pulp, thrown into the street, hit by a semi, cleaned off, and set onto the tracks of an oncoming train. This game immediately was a put away to never see the light of day. Or so I thought. After Skull rain, as soon as I saw the new operators, maps and how much dedication the developers put into the game while it was seemingly, dwindling away, I gave it one last go. All it took was one clutch. Just one. And I realized, this was what i was missing.

Now that I got my little ramble of my personal feelings for the game out of the way. Lets be helpful to the newcomers and give insight on the difficulty of this game. It is PUNISHING. Unless you have godlike aim, reflexes and a good group of dudes helping you learn, you will end up annoyed and angry with how often you will die. Whether it would be from a cheeky wallbang, your **** random teammates, or from an angle that looks like total BS to die from, you will rage and get pissed a lot. But that is the beauty of it. That difficulty is what makes this game fun especially when you hit that moment, where you finally understand how to truly play.

Lets give a quick pro's and con's list.

Pros: 53 unique, playable operators (including recruit)
All operators have their place in the game. Even the originals.
Roughly 20 playable maps (some excluded for the newcomer's sakes)
A semi decent community (comparing to league and COD)
    Smooth gunplay
    Destructable environments for increased strategy.
Occasional updates (aside from major seasons)
Unique cosmetics that (mostly) dont give a competitve edge, and look pretty damn nice.
    A fantastic pro gaming scene
Crazy fun events and SO MUCH MORE

    Cons: Usually bad hit registration
Kinda crappy microtransactions (limited edition alpha packs)
A large grind to even get most of the operators.
Laggy servers and the occasional server stressing.

With all of this, I'd highly recommend this game to all FPS genre fans out there. It's a total blast and easily my current favorite multiplayer game. And for all those on ps4 who are new and looking to get some practice, add me at GoodOlMasky. I'm down to teach some new players how to play this game.

The game's gunplay is amazing and it's nice to try out the arsenal of guns with the game's large amount of maps and operators. Every operator feels unique because of their gadget. Although there are some that share a lot of similarities.

I love that the game gets updated regularly about every 3-4 months with new operators, maps, bug fixes, and new features. I also love that you can get new operators by earning them and that you can spend money to skip ahead, but it doesn't make you good or anything.

I love the destruction and how not every game will be the same and how one can develop multiple strategies for every objective for every map and for every operator.

Picture yourself one win away from your first Platinum rank. Its gone into triple overtime, 9th round.....your on defence.....you've carried a squad of random scrubs to the finish line. All your last remaining teammate has to do is wait. If he survives the final 10 seconds of the round, the fabled promised land of the sweet sweet platinum charm awaits. You know the last remaining enemy is a shield operator who would inevitably win the 1 v 1 exchange. With not enough time to pick up the bomb defuser and make it back to the objective, the odds are definitely in your favour. All your teammate has to do is sit there. As the 10 seconds left tick towards 0, you sit back and reflect on your journey to get here....to finally go platinum.....the hours....the youtube tactic videos....the wins, the losses....the fuzed hostages. You decide it was all worth it.

    But wait.

Your teammate starts frantically moving around!! "What the **** is he doing?!?!" you shout to yourself. It dawns on you....the greedy mother****er wants the last kill. He sprints through the map. The clock is literally your only remaining ally.

The mother****er takes a shield to the face. You lose, and proceed to scream obscenities at the person whom you've never met before, but shall never forget.

This is what Siege does to people. Months later, at the summit of my career, I finally got my platinum charm. I never played a ranked season again, and soon deleted the game. I feel like I "returned home" from Siege, in a sense that it gave me PTSD.

10/10, incredible game, but I'm never going back.

Furthermore, the trophies don't work or pop and good luck with getting that patched or fixed because Ubisoft doesn't give a ****. Ubisoft's response to toxicity is "We are working on it". As for the Trophies absolutely no response. Finally, their microtransactions are way over the top and you don't get **** from them either. My 2 issues with this game are (A) No campaign. I loved R6: Vegas and think we really needed a solid story based tactical shooter on PS4, like Patriots, and (B) Other players. Everyone knows by now the online community for Siege is full of Toxicity and I can confirm it is.
Team-killing is rampant and literally every single round I mute all the mics because of *insert cliche reason here*
To sum it up Siege is a great FPS, but it has its flaws. Ubisoft has to be commended for their support of it and I hear there's another 6 years of content planned. . . Take that as you will

I've been playing for roughly a year from when this was written and i have rare run ins with toxic players and such but they are very far and few between, its not that i just pay with casuals, im a Gold 3 which is pretty decent, nothing outstanding but above where you'll find only casual players, sliver and below. I wasn't playing when the game came out so i can't say how much of an improvement it is but either way its one of the best experiences i've ever had.

Gameplay wise, the controls aren't finicky and work intuitively if you've played any other shooter, the one difference is that you can lean by pressing L3 and R3 while aiming, the PC controls are better but a keyboard has 30+ buttons, a PS4 controller has about 10-12 if you include the sticks. The guns have unique recoil and with the new recoil changes you can fully master a weapon's pattern. Sound is very important so make sure to get headphones, they don't have to be expensive, i got mine for a tener. It heavily rewards team play and in my experience the toxicity has been on a steady decline, or just bring some friends with you, you can screw around all you want on casual, as a testament to the community, i've made some of my best friends on this game and people are mostly fine with teaching you if you ask for help. Destruction is one of the big selling points of the game for a good reason, creativity and stealth can be just as effective as being a great shooter. I am a mediocre shot but i can do well by sneaking into close quarters where recoil is easier to control (don't use an ACOG for close quarters) then i can kill easily, you can mislead an enemy on where you will come from by blowing up a wall then entering through a different flank quickly. No 2 matches are alike because everything can be destroyed partly so new sight lines always show up, map knowledge will help but you'll get that in time so don't worry. Bugs are occasional but rarely problematic, normally funny or just unimportant. The servers can be iffy but majority of the time it will work fine.

The graphics are 1080p and look fine, they aren't like the new COD and Battlefield graphics which are more realistic than real life but they look decent, the maps are looking better also, so in a few years expect to be fighting in fully destructible 4k environments. The blood looks normal, bloody, it won't get on your clothes or anything like that though. The music is good for building tension but i disable it so i can hear where the enemy is coming from easier, or hear the quiet things (you can call it 'sound whoring').

At the start you will die over and over and over, its a steep learning curve, but that's what makes it so rewarding when you play well, why i still play after a year even if my friends aren't on, it's like dark souls in that way. At the beginning every small victory is amazing because of how hard you've had to work to get it. If you go on a decent few siege forums and just ask for help to get better, there will be a decent few who will give you a hand.
Most review talking about server crashes were made back in year 1, that's now rarely ever a problem. My only complaint is that there isn't a fleshed out campaign to get people used to the game like other rainbow six games, there's only situations which will barely teach you anything, the AI plays nothing like real players.
Either way this is one of if not THE best first person shooter on the market, also, it's set to keep getting free dlc for at least 3 more years probably more and it won't get a new siege game every year or so like how COD does it

If you're like me and don't have many friends dedicated to PC gaming and all of them have consoles and enjoy shooters with the game pad instead of keyboard and mouse (sort of) then this game is perfect. Even after 3 years, it has a strong player base and constant updated content with new season, operators and maps. Albeit the new maps haven't been met with rave reviews but at least they are trying to keep things fresh, and they succeed in doing that at least. The new operators always change the meta of the game, sometimes for better, sometimes for worst, but again, it keeps it fresh after a new season starts.
There are a couple of negatives. Any sort of game changing bug, and there has been LOTS of these in 3 years, have been very slow to be fixed by the developers. There was once a 'black jesus' bug back in year 1 where your player model basically displayed a standing silhouette with its arms out giving your position away obviously.
Another negative is that as your reach the higher ranks on console, it is evident a lot of players are exploiting the use of keyboard on mouse using 3rd party devices, offering them an advantage over other players. The sad things is that Ubisoft haven't done anything in the 3 years to try and combat this and seem happy for it to happen.
The fact of the matter is that there is no shooter like this on consoles and Siege has thrived in this role. I will be playing it for a long while yet, at least whilst the developers are still supporting it, and with the strong player base that still contributes financially buying season passes, skins and alpha packs, I see this game going on long into the future, probably until the PS5.

One big gripe is that the main gamemodes (hostage extraction, bomb defuse...)... every session easily turns into standard death match... so effectively, you're just playing team death match over-and-over, with an optional hostage to extract or whatever. The game would benefit hugely from an ultra-varied set of extra game modes, like a sniper-only game mode on open field, or something similarly bizarre.

Players of the Russian region is particularly acquainted - we have never had less than 50 ping. But with 100 ping, the game makes you hate on a regular basis.

Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege is a tactical shooter, in which there are destructible, which also need to be use tactically. It's a good game lures - their capabilities. Here you can not just stupid to get in to the enemy through the door and break through the wall, ceiling, blow the door, and the opponent will be confused "where am I to watch?!". Outside you can climb down the wall on ropes, punching the window, hanging and upside down (which at first familiar, but you can get used to) - it is also necessary to use, as the enemy often does not expect. There are different ways to break through walls and other fortifications to strengthen the walls, set various traps. And operatives must have individual abilities and their weapons. All this makes the game insanely replayable, and just a Paradise for lovers to play it on tactics. We also have a drone (team attack), which can be used to mark opponents, and just to check if everything is "clean". In this game, don't just go ahead. Usually you can go to the desired object from about three sides, and even more. And if you know that if you go just like a sheep forward, you die, then you just need to go to the other side and to catch opponents off guard. And it seems so logical, but no, a stupid to go ahead without checking your drone is there ahead of the enemy. This game is about careful gameplay.

You've planned everything, you're done, you know exactly what is going to kill the opponents, but here comes Ubisoft with their network code that wrote Indian the heel of the left foot. The problems can be different from the second podlaha before his sudden departure from the session. Ubisoft are really trying to fix things, and now it's playing without problems, but you still can kill enemy when you noticed him only a second while on his cell tupil you almost half a minute. Hate it. Due to these technical situations, and many others and I want the hell to remove this horrible game. But the gameplay makes you run, "the Siege" again and again. And when everything turns out as you planned, really enjoy it.

The game has no story, stand-alone company, there is only multiplayer. To familiarize yourself with the mechanics is "Operation". And it would be better for the beginner to get them to watch the introductory videos, and then only to go into the game. "Siege" requires direct hands, the weapon happens with a character, you also need to know the map, and then you just have no escape routes or don't know how to get around the enemy. Of course, one must know and operatives for whom you play. All of its pluses and minuses. Operatives in the game is not enough, and there will be more. In the "Antiterror" you can train against bots. On the complexity of "Realism" bots are very good, it is generally one of the most intelligent bots to rebuild. take you to the hearing, bypass. This mode is useful for beginners, as there you will get acquainted with the operative and weapons. The gun shoots great, the sound is excellent. But some of the guns look much viagraxna (especially with ACOG). With automatic Ash or famas from Twich much better put headshots. But sometimes ubisoft and shotguns kill for a couple of meters (as it was when I added just Frost). Headshots are literally with one shot (as it should be), but in Siege it may not be skill, but simply luck. The enemy can shoot at you from a vending machine Bandit and one of the twenty bullets will hit you and you die. Hate it. Hitboxes in this game at all bothered. Different investigators different armored is a bit of a controversial decision.

Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege despite all the technical flaws and the occasional controversial decisions by the dev team, this is a great tactical multiplayer shooter with insane replayability, and gameplay that gives you many opportunities. The game clearly goes for the emotions. It's just the orgasm at the tips of ecstasy!

    Summary of Favourite Moment
Playing in a five man party, all with headsets. Co-ordinating the attack before moving in. Taking out cameras with suppressed handguns and sneaking our way towards the hostage. Each of us surrounds the room with the hostage inside. We send a camera in which tags a few targets, before being taken out. … It’s quiet… the quiet before the storm. At my command, the team detonate the breach charges and throw concussion grenades into the room. We all breach at once, brothers in arms. We mercilessly and efficiently drop the enemy terrorists whilst they are suffering from exploding headaches. We check the hostage over, she’s fine. Mission completed.

    Summary of worst moment
Lining up outside a room with a hostage in it. Telling my team to patiently wait as I throw a grenade in through the window. The grenade hits and kills the hostage. Mission failed. Sorry guys.

    Detail
Siege is a welcome change of pace to the typical 'run and gun' titles out there (think Battlefield, Call of Duty etc. Siege carves its own place in a genre already full of FPS games and does so convincingly.

The important question: What does it offer that other games don't?
    My answer: Realism.

The gameplay offered from Siege is a masterclass of tactical response to various terrorist threats. It throws you into their world and the sheer suspense of some of the rounds I've played are immense.

I have spent many online days playtime on Call of Duty, so I'm not discrediting the series, but many people I have spoken to compare this game with Search and Destroy game modes from Call of Duty. Whilst I see their logic, I believe it's a faulty one; Search and Destroy doesn’t offer the same amount of pressure that Siege does. You can’t run into a room with Siege and take everyone out with superhuman abilities, then call in your autonomous killstreak drone to earn your nuke – it’s just not that type of game.

Siege rewards players when they take their time, plan and execute their plan perfectly.

Whilst playing Siege, I have never died when it wasn’t my fault; whereas with Call of Duty/Battlefield this is often the case.

I see myself playing Siege many years into the future and looking back with fond memories. The players who critique this game the most are probably those who haven’t played it and want to keep buying the same Call of Duty every year.

Just round starts and boom everyone is getting shot by this kid....or you actually get a team that is decent enough to actually try. Rank is laughable now. It is becoming more of casual than anything, no one wants to actually put forth the effort and slim possibility you will find a match with at least one of your team mates having a head set. This game definitely has it's benefits if the whole team is communicating but no one seems to grasp that concept. Situations is just a task you are giving to learn the fundamentals of the game and make multiplayer easier for you so that you do not go complete noob mode on anyone. It seems to fail for that purpose on some people.
The game modes are: bomb, hostage, and secure area. That has always been it and seems like they do not want to add an extra game mode. The worse thing about that is, all three game modes are played exactly the same. It turns into a team death match and fails to deliver the objective. Which is fine and all but it just gets so old so fast that no one is doing what the objective is entails. It isn't the gamers fault, but the developers because of poor design. Look at the E3 trailer of the game and compare it to today's gameplay and you will see how they make it seem like one thing but it never plays out that way.

Gameplay. The gameplay is actually really good. From the destructive environment, even though limited but not too much, to how different each operator plays and feels. That is about it on the good part that makes this into a 7 and not lower with of course can be fun with friends and all communication team. Downfall of this is the hit detection and how nerf they are making weapons that doesn't make sense to be nerfed as well as weapons that are as strong as they are. For instance, in the latest update glaz's gun lost hits damage rating by over half. It went from 186 to 90...but that 90 is only at far distance. If you are close, it is even less. But you have someone like Caveria, who has a pistol with what looks like a plastic bottle attached for a silencer that will knock you down with a couple of shots or kill you with a couple of shots depending how close, and has a damage rating of 90. It seriously doesn't make any sense whatsoever and it is just going on a downward slope with the hit box's that make this game frustrating. Too many instances where I am shooting someone center chest or head and they see me and shoot a couple of times and I take way more damage then they did and even on the kill cam they are repeatedly taking hits and blood coming off of them, barely anything.

The upside is they have improved the servers and how long it takes to get into a match. But that is about as much progress as this game has gotten. Hopefully they will turn things around and spice it up a bit with new game modes, better hit detection, and stick with unique operators that continue to play so differently. It is a decent game at best when you are on an all chat team or playing with friends but it needs variety and it needs it fast.

Fun game. With ultra realism there is a lot to like here with a dedicated fan base and team supporting it and many still paying today. The game has really cool destructible environments too.

I wouldn't recommend purchasing the game. It's basically just camping, the only thing I like about Siege is that you can teamkill. Uninstalled it after 2 hours :/

Hey there. I’m here to give anyone that’s willing to listen my opinion on a game I’ve been playing for quite some time—Rainbow 6 Siege. I’m just going to get right to the point:

Hey there. I’m here to give anyone that’s willing to listen my opinion on a game I’ve been playing for quite some time—Rainbow 6 Siege. I’m just going to get right to the point:
Siege might have been the best FPS I’ve ever played, but it ends up falling so flat that it hurts. It’s one of those games that most people classify as having potential—but just to waste it and not do what could’ve been done several times better. I’m not saying that Siege has to meet every single one of my expectations, or that it needs to be what I want it to be—I’m trying to say that as a game in its genre it needs to cover some bases before even trying to be an FPS.
I’m talking about net code, fixing the issue with peekers advantage, giving spawn protection to attackers for a few seconds to protect them from spawn camping, and lastly preventing players with more latency to benefit from said latency. These are things that have a DIRECT influence in the way people play the game. It affects how each round plays out, how encounters work, and how players approach the game. If you know that you will have an advantage over someone if you peek them first, you’re more than likely going to run in and go for a peek. If you know you can get one or two picks at the very start of the round, you’re more than likely going to take the risk and take out those key ops. If you see you’re connected to a server and you’re lagging a bit—and you have peekers advantage, you’re more than likely going to run in first.
Most people take any advantage they can get. And are they to blame? No, I can’t say they are. I myself am guilty of peeking outside, spawn killing, and rushing in. If my team is down by one, or if we’re tied up, or if the other team is outperforming us by using these things to their advantage, why am I going to take it? I won’t.
And here is where my problem with this game really comes in: it almost forces you to accommodate your play style to these factors. Most matches play out the same way now. The same repetitious outside peeking, excessive rushing, defenders not doing their job—which is defending the objective, etc. I feel like as a player, I’ve lost the advantage in being to choose the way I play the game. I feel constrained in my choices in play-style because everything I’ve tried doesn’t work. I don’t really like the way I have to play the game now, but because it works I do it. And that’s where the game becomes just about winning and that’s where the fun factor ends for me. I try my best to only play when my friends are online as well. When they aren’t, I stick to terrorist hunt. But when they are on, they ultimately suffer the same fate—and for the most part, share the same opinion.
Lastly, I feel like the game puts too much of a focus on adding in new operators. It is clearly an important part of the game and helps to “shift the meta”, but the season passes and the constant weapon skin additions really just detracts from what I would consider other important content. And by content I mean fixing the stuff that I’ve mentioned earlier. I’m not about to claim that I know anything and everything about how to manage a game like Siege, but from my perspective I’d shift focus.
In summation, the problem I have with this game currently is that it lacks the foundation it needs to support its wonderful concept. It focuses too much on other things—like weapon skins and other gear—when it should be directing its focus on what makes the game function. By allowing problems like peekers advantage, spawn killing, and using latency as an advantage, the game shoots itself in the foot. It limits the player’s choices regarding play-style tremendously, and instead of building on its concept—it stunts its growth. You can’t build a house without a solid foundation.
(EDIT: This review is based primarily around the PC version of this game--so if there's any inconsistencies I apologize. I didn't notice that this was for PS4)

    Cons:
    - Brutal server issues still persist even after the product has been on the market for 16 months.
    - Not a whole lot to do outside of multiplayer. Do not purchase hoping for a successor of R6 Vegas.
    - Tasks as simple as creating your squad of friends can occasionally be impossible due to connection issues.

This is a nice break from the boringfields and call of money. This is a realistic, tactical first person shooter. The game had twenty characters to start with and 11 maps at release. And they just keep adding new content and guess what. It's free. That is more than ea and activision can say since they're money grubbing whores. This games does not fail to amaze me

Indeed an innovative game in a genre that rarely changes, sins a little because it does not have a history mode and because of the difficulty in acquiring the new operators for those who do not have much time to play, or simply do not want to spend with the season pass.

Ranked match making is awful and doesn't even come close to actually matching players based on skill. Unless you have a full group prepare to get destroyed each game against pre made teams against solo players 9/10 times.

When will gamers wise up and stop buying titles like this?

Where RS lacks is in single player content and terrorist hunt: which I feel both are significantly worse than what Rainbow Six: Vegas 1 & 2 brought to the table last generation.

Still a fantastic game overall for those who are looking for a tactical shooter that is based heavily on teamwork.

    Only critic for me is:

    - Client based smoke grenades and item destruction. For example, I destroy a PC Screen on a table to hold an angle/objective. For me it might be completely gone, for my opponent it can sometimes still be in the way of my head, preventing him from seeing me.
    - Hit Registration. I sometimes rush past an entry point, the enemy sees me, shoots and I fall down even though having passed that hallway a second ago and the enemy clearly shooting my "ghost"/lag.
    - New updates often introduce gamebreaking bugs. When a new operation/update comes out, usually the first days are coined by bugs, lags and glitches. Ubisoft is keen to fix that very fast, but the fact that something like that exists in the first place is worrisome.

All in all, that does not stop me from giving 10/10, because I have faith in this game. Its one of the best fps shooters in our generation and leaves CoD & Battlefield in the dust.

Siege can feel cool and inhospitable, but when the conditions are right and you're playing with friends, the game's tense gameplay and measured pacing makes for a refreshing, cerebral contrast to the run-and-gun hyperactivity of most online shooters. [Feb 2016, p.104]
