Too many bugs and ubisoft is testing their limits with MTX in this game, maybe worse than battlefront 2, wait for them to fix their game (bug and MTX wise) , or a huge price drop, maybe 20 dollars or 70 BRL (Brazillian Real)

I mean I pay 100€ for the Game and Im not even close to getting everything, no I have to spend 1000€ to get everything.
And yes Im angry even if it is just a skin, because I can remember that there was a time where I spend 50€ to 100€ ( depending on the game) and had everything in that Game, or better saying I was abble to unlock it at least without to spend money again.

The only good thing about this game for me was the quantity of equipment, gear, camo and weapon mods. The whole point is that your gearing up and collecting intel to go after the main bad guy, who you can go after at any point and is such an anticlimax. A badly made game not worth time or money. The Good: Best place to start with what is good about Ghost Recon Breakpoint is the environment you play in. While I find it hard to believe a island in the south Pacific ocean has snow, everything else is stunning! The ability to use the terrain to your advantage when ambushing or already in a fire fight lends itself towards the so called tactical aspect of this game. Nomads animationThe Good: Best place to start with what is good about Ghost Recon Breakpoint is the environment you play in. While I find it hard to believe a island in the south Pacific ocean has snow, everything else is stunning! The ability to use the terrain to your advantage when ambushing or already in a fire fight lends itself towards the so called tactical aspect of this game. Nomads animation from sliding down a hill to coughing up blood when you have a critical injury is done very well. At times I noticed that Nomad would do a press check on the equipped weapon to make sure a round was seated in the chamber. This kind of stuff in the game is just what Ghost Recon needed. The vehicle assortment is pretty damn good (I will elaborate in "The Bad" portion of this review). Weapon diversity makes sure that if your bored with your set up and want to try a different approach to an objective they are there for consideration. Certain mission require you to do some sleuthing which lends itself towards immersion, giving details that are absent from the lackluster cut scenes.
The Bad: The vehicles in this game handle only marginally better than Wildlands. While you do have quite a large selection to choose from you need in-game currency to purchase every single one of them. Ubisoft did take mercy on the player and supplies a Helicopter as a default mode of transportation. While John Bernthal is a pretty damn good actor his talent is largely wasted on Breakpoint. Cut scenes are few and far in-between with poor animation leaving just an empty sense of what exactly is going on. Repetitive side-missions, factions missions, and immediately being able to take on Bernthal makes this game feel repetitive but that is par for Ubisoft sand box games or any games of similar genre.
The Ugly: The gear score system in Breakpoint is out of place and DOES NOT BELONG IN THE GHOST RECON FRANCHISE!!! I cannot stress this enough! While it works for The Division 1 & 2 this seems shoe-horned in for obvious reasons but not for the reasons critics and players have been stating. This implementation of gear score is both a funnel and a soft progression block herding you towards certain portions of the map instead of you choosing where you want to start your experience on Aurora. The RPG elements destroys immersion and instead of feeling like a Tier-1 Operator who has fought in multiple theatres of operation, you have to build up skills that makes progression through the game easier. "Kills Skills" that normally would be found in the Borderlands franchise are present in Breakpoint stripping any realism or the feel of being outnumbered and outgunned. You can literally make a tank build that is effective even on "Extreme" difficulty. The much touted "advanced AI' that Ubisoft advertised is not present and is just laughable. The enemy will continually walk through the same door way despite the fact that the bodies of their squad mates are piled in and around the entrance. Things from a couple of soldiers spinning in circles to not spotting you when your 20 ft. away from them is evidence that Ubisoft has falsely advertised yet again certain aspects of their products. The "player hub" is also SOMETHING THAT SHOULD OF NEVER BEEN PUT INTO A GHOST RECON GAME!!! It contradicts the story line and can only be attributed to as a decision to cut down cost of production. Why make something unique for a game when you can reuse assets from other IP's. The firearms in this game feel dumb down compared to Wildlands. When I was using a .338 Lapua round the bullet drop was abysmal. This is where the RPG aspect of the game rears it's ugly head. There is a perk you can equip that boosts your maximum range of engagement making the guns shoot a little more realistically but having this option in the first place ruins what could of been very satisfying gun play. Now finally the micro-transactions! There is no "pay to win" options but Ubisoft has decided to lock a lions share of cosmetics behind pay walls. In Wildlands you could customize your character till your heart's content but with Breakpoint you start off with only 5 different camouflage options and they are divide between weapon skins and equipment skins. Clothing can be unlocked fairly quickly with the looting system but still the more popular of choices you have to pay real money to unlock. The survival aspect of this game is just not present. With infinite bandages to patch yourself up survival is no problem.
In Conclusion I don't recommend this game to anybody. Ubisoft has ruined the Ghost Recon Franchise with their reuse of assets from other games to cut down on over-head cost. Micro-transactions locked a lot of the cosmetics behind pay-walls destroying any immersion to be found in this game. Gun play is sub-par, draw distance is pathetic, enemy AI is child's play, & story line is on par with Destiny. Avoid till this game is on-sale for $20 and with a healthy amount of patches

All the 'fun' features of Wildlands are nowhere to be seen: shallow character creation/modification, no allied AI squad, no requesting deliveries in the field, no challenging areas (you either have the gear to kill everything, or it kills you; it's all a gear-wall), and JFC the enemy AI is non-existent. I am not even impressed with the scenery; it's not as pretty as Wildlands or AC Origins or even the Division 2 in my opinion. And HOLY HELL, the gameplay mechanics are a freaking mess. The POV is too close to your player (making your character take up too much of the screen), and it CONSTANTLY KEEPS SWITCHING TO LEFT-SHOULDER VIEW (arguably my most annoying gripe), weapons disappear, reload animations get stuck mid fire-fight, and if you want to bring up your HUD/mission interface it covers 2/3rds of the freaking screen. Clipping/pathing sucks (I keep getting the 'CLIMB' or 'CROSS' prompt even when I'm walking on relatively flat ground), and there are several skills/abilities that are not well-explained or not intuitive at all, and the skill trees are restrictive and messy. I could go on, but it's not worth typing anymore. Expand

My main problem with the Game is that it feels terrible to move around, it feels cluncky, I think they made it that way to make it feel realistic but that's so far away from it, it's not realistic when u can't move ur character like u want them too.

Shooting feels good but I would like it to be more like Pubg.

The Menus are just bad, everything abou them. U want o change ur class, u can't do it in the Menu u have to go somewhere to do that, u want to choose a new quest, here u have a Menu that is basically a Map, why is it not a simple drop down Menu, why are they making everything so complicated, again it feels like ubisoft thought that design decision like that would make it more realistic but they are just stupid.

The world graphics are sadly poor. Wildlands Bolivia was so rich in detail and "alive". Feels like the made the game with no love.

Zero innovation - after hours playing the system of game and core appears to be broken. Worst game-play on the vehicles, weapon's system broken - some snipers had more range than usual and damage of waepons are the worst ever, repetitive and pay to win system broke the pvp.

In addition, the world feels empty compared to Wildlands, yes i know the story is different but still it just feels empty with the lack of civs. This core of the game is not a ghost recon game. This game is a combination of destiny, division and Wildlands. For me Wildlands was a great game if you played with a good group of friends. I was hoping they would add on to what they did with Wildlands and make it better, but sadly they went the other direction and failed with BreakPoint. The game itself does not know what it is, is it a realistic shooter? is it a looter shooter? is it an RPG? The developers tried to implement so many different elements into the game so that they could add allot of micro transactions. This mutilated form of a ghost recon game resulted in its breaking point. Expand

Like you can buy everything in the game. Plus more....Its disgusting. Theres more quality put into the shop then the game itself...Which brings me to the game itself. Yes theres a few new features that are nice but didn't take much effort... But lets look at everything. The game Is 10000% a copy and paste of ghost recon wildlands....Every gun sounds the exact same as the ones in wildlands which...EVERY GUN...sounds....exactly....the same....Every single gun feels exactly the same...I love my M4's and Sig guns....But in this game..I could be using a Uzi and it feels just like the m4...and Every single other gun....almost every gun has the same animations. They all were copy and pasted from wildlands. Attachments are almost unnoticeable differences. All player animations are complete copy and pastes as well as ALL cosmetics... Vehicles handle like ....? Matchbox cars...I mean awful....They lied that they improved it because they operate worse then wildlands and they too are copy and pastes.....The ai are the dumbest **** **** ever. Legit the fastest way to do anything. Go into a base. Go into a building and just ? 1 tap everyone as they funnel through the door because none use any tactics as well as you listen to them try to shoot you through walls . The big bad wolfs are just as dumb as the rest of the ai. No tactic at all. The game Runs like **** and even on max graphics looks no different from wild lands. The game has no guidance at all. You honestly can go kill the main boss. Walker within 30 minutes of starting the story....Seriously. The Story is completely missed the target. Boring lazying Lacking, And makes no SENSE... your suppose to be on your own because you have (No ai teamates, Which even though they are annoying i miss them because now the games just boring and empty and lonely for any solo players. Its barebly with teamates but theres no tactics anymore because the broken ai who hear you 5 miles away from a base) But your suppose to be on your own...but THERES A CAVE FILLED WITH 40-50 OTHER GHOSTS... After playing this game and fighting so hard to like it ....Begging myself to.....after 6 hours of play i relised i had my money stolen....this is just wildlands but worse with a new map and injury... The bivoac which was some big thing they hyped.... its stupid boring and only good for travel. 6 hours in i realized this games the most boring ghost recon ever....The most poorly made....Biggest money grab....I thought EA was bad?....I mean EA is a god awful joke....But this??? This game had everything to succeed. The energy with the wolves and ghosts was great! The Trailers got me hyped up about the game! When I played it in the beta, I immediately noticed that the world felt empty. After Wildlands, which was filled with unique locations and many NPCs. Auroa feels empty. It looks great from the air, sure and it even looks better than Wildlands.

The Story is boring, hell there is no story! The coolest thing about the Story is the Villain, our former brother, Cole D Walker and Jon Bernthal does a fantastic job playing him.
The Enemy AI, its pathetic!! The Enemies take magazines to their chest and only need one headshot. The Loot, Inventory System is awful and not motivating! If you want to do a good looter shooter game at least give us something we should grind for and be motivated for! Instead, we have to grind to slightly increase the level of our Armor.
And, the store is absolutely filled with Microtransactions no one needs! They implemented many elements from AC and other games to Ghost Recon, and it does not work like this!

But that's all for the good parts. There is the rest. Glitches everywhere, you have to loot at all time, so no need to customize your weapons, you'll change after killing just 2 enemies. You have to change weapons, equipment, everything, all the time, and it gives the game a bad rhythm. Shooting, menu, change your gear, shooting, changing gear again. Add to this microtransactions in the game, the fact that you have to stay online all the game, even when playing solo. THe open world is also not very interesting, and after a few hours, you'll just take a chopper to go to the new mission, or fast travel when possible. The driving is awful by the way, car or chopper, same. And they wanted to add a survival aspect, and it's ridiculous and not interesting, not one bit.

Speaking of the enemy AI, it's stupid beyond belief. They tend to react to nothing, and it's easy to wipe out a full base without serious consequences. Squads are half-assed, the story is hot garbage, and one I can't get invested in. Characters you can't connect with, god-awful voice acting, and after completing a mission, you feel you never made a difference. Unlike in Wildlands, where completing a missing gets you one step closer to defeating the boss of that certain region. Cutscenes are terrible to look at, they all look like plastic when they speak. However, the gameplay is nice, gunplay feels quite fluid, and some animations look nice. Not all though. Graphics are better, and they've added survival mechanics, but it's whether you like it or not. I don't. So, I disabled it. And it's important to mention that none of the regular immersive features existed at launch.

The game has adapted some sort of hub area to hang out in, which strays from a normal Ghost Recon game. You can still find guns around the map, but you can also buy them from the shop of Erewhon, they hub area. Ther's even, you know. MICROtransactions. The game uses this currency system called Skel Credits that you can find around the world. If you don't want to traverse the incredibly boring, bland, unoriginal, stupidly narrow "open" world, you can always buy the guns from the shop. Skel Credits are also used to buy certain clothing items, refill your items gear, and buy vehicle skins. But please, REFRAIN from buying ANY vehicle skin in the game. The only vehicles you'll be using is either helicopters, dirt bikes, or fast travel. Because the world is so narrow, attempting to drive any other car than the ones I listed up there is hellishly tough. There's nothing to see or do in Auroa anyway, and all the best landmarks in the game are not interactable. Missions don't add any incentive to complete them, unlike Wildlands, when you took down a cartel boss you'd get a crap-ton of skill points or even a unique weapon you couldn't find anywhere else.

At launch, you didn't have a Ghost team, which turned of a lot of people from playing the game. Later, they did add a squad, and the end result is pretty bad. See, in Wildlands, your squad was calm, cool, and collected. They'd banter which each other for a few seconds, whether you entered a new province or after a briefing from Bowman. In Breakpoint. your squad of characters are forgettable. They never talk with you. NEVER. Not one conversation can be struck up with them, and I only use them as help for clearing bases, whereas in Wildlands, I kept my squad active to dress them up in serious or sometimes silly outfits, and just have them walk around with me in the beautiful world of Bolivia. The only time your squad in Breakpoint ever talks is either when they complement you on getting a headshot, marking an enemy, or using their abilities. I don't change their outfits much, and usually only change the weapons they carry.

Like said before, the world of Auroa is horrendous to look at and explore. Second worst map since Pokémon: Scarlet and Violet's world. I'm not incentivized to explore, find guns, gear, clothing, skill points, or even enemy bases, something I did a lot in Wildlands. Civilians exist, but they always ask, "What are you doing here?" or "Please don't hurt me!" Then I shoot them for fun. The civilians don't drive, ever, and you tend to wonder why they even bothered adding regular cars in the world, half of which you can't even drive. You can't holster your weapon like Wildlands. It's LITERALLY the definition of one of the "worst open world games ever".

Story is ass. I would review for you, but I haven't completed it yet, and probably never will. But so far, characters are horribly designed, voice acting is -10/10, and character development is just non-existent. Enemy variety is the same as Wildlands, though, as you can guess by now, Wildlands had better enemy variety. First is Sentinel. Much like the cartel, Sentinel are the main enemies you fight throughout the game. Their AI is stupid, but they banter with one another, a lot more I can say for my own damn squad. They don't have many tools to their disposal, and you can stealth a whole base of Sentinel enemies and not get caught. If you do get caught, there aren't any consequences. The next is Wolves, and much similar to Unidad in Wildlands, they are the greater threat. But the Wolves are as easy to defeat as Sentinel. They LITERALLY offer no new challenge. They have more drones, but that's about it. Yeah, I hated going up against the Unidad in Wildlands, and sometimes tried avoiding missions that included them, but at least they differentiated from the cartel.

Если честно - ожидал большего - нечто продолжение предыдущей части. Новая шкурка в виде острова - ну так себе. Новая(старая) тема с уровнем персонажа взятая с Desteny- так себе. DONAT - очень отвратительно. Разочарован - честно.....

"Tom Clancy Micro transactions break point" is a game for your credit card. I wonder how many people they hired to focus on just-pay aspect of the game instead of the gameplay itself. Disgusting.

Trash compared to the previous game. It's clunky, buggy, poorly thought out, character faces are terrible, Ghosts are reduced to total schlubs. Empty even for ubisoft open world game standards. Very average graphics. Weird design choices. Even without the ridiculous amount of microtransactions at release, it'd be a very bad game.

Division!!!! Под чистую сделали, благо хоть не RPG.

Про микротранзакции я промолчу, т.к это отдельная тема и очень субъективна.

AI is dumb and bugged as hell - you dont need any skill at all even on Extreme difficulty. You dont even need any weapons except for single sidearms until you hit a grind wall in a form of extremely bullet-spongy drones that you must destroy from time to time to progress in story.

Monetization should be mentioned separately - it is one of the worst pay-2-win even by the standard of free-2-play mobile game: you can literally by everything from start with enough real money including weapons, mods, vehicles, currency etc. This is a ridiculous example of play-2-not-play. No wonder devs did not care about filling open world with any meaningful activities - you are not meant to traverse whole world but instead meant to pay more money to skip intentionally boring lazily copy-pasted grind locations.

Summary - you will lose nothing if you just skip this one, unless you are some kind of casual whale who dont mind spending a low of cash on a buggy mess just to complete it asap and move on to something more interesting and polished. This game may be worth checking again in 6-12 months when most bugs will be finally fixed and price will drop to 15-20 USD, but is no not really worth a cent more than that

The worst part about this game is, that at its core its really fun. But that's doesn't matter, because Ubisoft managed to bury that core so deep under insulting MTX, bad game design, RPG light mechanics NO ONE asked for, writing so bland and boring that I might as well listen to an audiobook while playing as well as no real optimization and bugs, so many bugs.

Weapons feel good, but since the game acts like its a looter shooter that doesn't matter. You will switch weapons out constantly. The devs also haven't figured out how to make cars and helicopters that feel realistic and control well, which amazes me, considering GTA 5 figured that out in 2013.
But at least its "fun with friends", but to be fair, everything can be fun with friends. A old and broken football can be fun with friends. Doesn't make the game good.

Oh, also, you cant play the game without an internet connection. AT ALL. Even tho you can play the game SP, great right?

In short, safe your money and buy a better game than this, its not worth it.

Got it early but so far the biggest disappointment in 2019. It's literally a full price pay2win AAA title with artificial scarcity to make you feel it's just about the ingame shop. You can buy skins, shortcuts, bluepronts, mods, materials & more. The gearscore system is totally out of place: Slight increases make no sense against human enemies (all die from headshots). In the very beginning you start alone and need to fight for your life. That feels intense and good. However a few minutes later you enter a social hub and meet dozens of other Ghosts. At this point the immersion broke and never recovered. Story and cutscenes are really uninteresting and dialogs comical. It doesnt feel like a Tom Clancy game. You even heal within seconds if you're not shot again. And it's not about realism. I give it 1/10 because the first few minutes felt good and I can use the case to replace my broken GT:Sport case. Ghost Recon Breakpoint offers a vast universe, where the survival aspects have been strengthened from GR Widlands. If the game suffers from a perfectible AI and a clear feeling of "déjà-vu", it doesn’t take anything away from its effectiveness. It works well, especially in coop, while the PVP is viciously nervous. An imperfect title, but with great moments, and a huge potential if handled with care by Ubisoft in the coming months.

Ghost Recon Breakpoint is coincidentally living up to its name, being a failure and potential gravedigger for the famous franchise. Riddled with Pay-to-Win microtransactions tacked on looter shooter gameplay and pretty under average storytelling, even Jon Berenthal wasn’t enough to arise this gameplay up to some decent playable heights.

At its best, Ghost Recon Breakpoint is a taut and tactical shooter that works brilliantly in co-op and is genuinely enjoyable to play but at its heart this is just another sandbox shooter and one that doesn't meet the technical standards we're used to from Ubisoft.
