To leave is a fantastic mix of art, dark storytelling, and hardcore difficulty! What starts off as a somber art house experience quickly becomes one of the hardest, but fair, 2-D platformers i've played in a long time.

Finally a game that goes deep inside reality. The game music, colorful details and charactes = WOW! .
Thank you Freaky Creations for an amazing journey.

It is a very difficult 2D platform game with a very interesting story. It becomes addictive at certain times and the good music of the game is great. I'm definitely enjoying it.

Disclaimer: I've seen this game being developed from the start, so I may be biased to positively review it. On the other hand, I've seen many indies during development professionally, and as a freelance reviewer.
As a hardcore gamer, I love To Leave's concept of escape. This is a game that is designed to truly transform the player with a deep story and a hard as hell flying mechanics.

As a hardcore gamer, I love To Leave's concept of escape. This is a game that is designed to truly transform the player with a deep story and a hard as hell flying mechanics. It's designed to be a challenge even for veteran players. Still, it manages to keep you engaged and once you get the hang of it, you'll really lose the sense of time.
Many can relate to Harm, and his attempts to escape from reality, but what's admirable is his resolution to do something about it. To Leave is an incredible story that will resonate with real-life player frustrations and tangible proof of how developers and artists can put their whole heart and soul into wonderful works of art for the medium.

Really difficult 2D platform with amazing visuals and an overall okay story. It's the first game of the developers from a country with no game industry, so it's a first attempt more than good enough,

The game is designed to make you spend as much money as possible, the towers are cluttered with unfair mechanics to force you to burn through your konsumables as fast as possible.

While it is not meant to be an educational game about mental illness, I felt that its approach to the subject was exceptionally well done.

While it offers enjoyable and challenging platforming with a delightful visual style, the overall experience is hampered by the frustration at having to repeatedly redo the same gruelling sections. [Issue#150, p.90]

Despite one truly frustrating level, I had a pretty good time with To Leave and enjoyed the incredible challenge that it presented. Unfortunately, I wasn't nearly as intrigued by its unusual and ambiguous storyline.
